My favorite Houston restaurant. I posted a pic of the by-the-glass Sauvignon Blanc that I ordered and recommend. Reasonably priced too. Expensive meals but portions are very large and kitchen is happy to split the plate. Since we live locally, many times we doggy bag the leftovers and enjoy a second meal at home.

We had an amazing experience at The Capital Grille thanks to Melanie. She truly knows the entire menu inside and out and was able to explain every dish in detail, including recommendations and pairings. Her knowledge made the whole dining experience even better. Melanie was extremely kind, attentive, and professional throughout the night. She made us feel welcomed and taken care of from start to finish. You can tell she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about her guests. I highly recommend asking for Melanie when you visit — she is excellent at what she does and made our evening unforgettable!

This past weekend was my first time eating at The Capital Grille. Mr. Mosquella, the manager, greeted me as if I was a guest at his house. Showing such fantastic hospitality! I'm physically disabled and he saw to it that I got the perfect table where I could put my walker aside. The wait staff was extremely polite/helpful. A replica of an old ship made a wonderful backdrop for a most memorable picture. Exquisite artwork dressed the walls as if in a museum. Phenomenal food and atmosphere! If you are searching for fine dining in Houston? Then give, The Capital Grille, a visit!

I absolutely love this place. Demarco’s management skills are on point!! Michael was my server and his timing and high level of professionalism is extraordinary ! The steak was perfect. Everything I tasted is absolutely delicious!!

Overall fantastic experience. Our server, I believe her name was Chentelle, was the BEST. All of her recommendations were amazing and her service was top notch. We will be requesting her next time we go. The folks behind the bar were nice, too. All of the food was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the balsamic bone in rib eye. It was extremely tender and not overwhelmed by the balsamic sauce. The Kona crusted steak was good, too. The lobster crab cake is a must try appetizer. I’d go back just to have another one! The French 75s were gin heavy, but the others in my party weren’t complaining. I had the passion fruit mojito sans rum (mocktail style) and it was the best drink I’ve had. Perfectly tangy and not too sweet with just the right amount of mint. The restrooms were clean and spacious. The restaurant itself was clean. Can’t speak to the parking as we took a Lyft to and from, but the valet seemed fast from what we saw.

Known for great steaks and excellent service. No regrets when dining here. I also feel that giving a review isn't really needed since their food and service speak for themselves. Also, parking here isn't bad either because finding good parking is rare.

First time here. Took a good customer for a business dinner. Greg place and Great choice. Ordered the Porcini-Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye* with 15-Year Aged Balsamic and I loved it. It was 22 oz so half went home for another day.!

Our first time at capital grille and we had such a wonderful experience. Starting with our waiter Zack, he was absolutely fantastic, attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Rodrigo, the manager, checked in on us and was so welcoming and kind, which really added a personal touch to the evening. And a big shoutout to Chef Angel, the food was incredible! Every dish was cooked to perfection. From start to finish, the entire team made us feel so taken care of. Highly recommend this location for an amazing dining experience!

Amazing and friendly service. Everyone there from the hostess to the waiter to the chef made our anniversary an unforgettable experience. Food was extremely delicious and they even offered a complimentary dessert and champagne. Will definitely be returning and recommending this restaurant.

Excellent. Not perfect though. The drinks could be just a bit sweeter. I myself prefer them to not be sweet and even I think they need to be sweeter. Wish there were more drink choices, side choices, and desert choices. Surprised there were no sauces with the calamari. Surf and turf was great though I wish the filet was not charred. Seafood tower was excellent. The best I’ve had in Houston. That is the main reason I’ll be back. Great bread and butter as well.

We've been dining here for over 20 years. Classic steakhouse with numerous options for seafood. Incredible food, great cuts of me, fresh seafood, and don't forget the stolie dolie pineapple martini. Dessert was great as well. Servers are professional and attentive. Highly recommend

This is a very special place you want to go on special occasions. If you want to celebrate anniversaries, etc, I would dress up when going here. A very fine dining restaurant, you want to enjoy your special occasion. The food was excellent. Their waiters gave us awesome service.

Whenever I am in Houston, TX, there is one place that I always make sure to visit - and that is the restaurant known for its incredible Lamb Chops. As a food lover, I have tried many different versions of this dish, but none have ever come close to the perfection and masterful execution of the Lamb Chops at this restaurant. The moment I take my first bite, I am transported to a world of delicious flavors and textures. While the service could use a few minor improvements, such as being more attentive to refills without having to ask, the overall experience is still phenomenal. The atmosphere is classy and the vibe is simply amazing, making it the perfect place to enjoy a mouth-watering meal.
