It had been a while since we visited. Our waitress was very attentive, and polite. We got our food pretty quickly. Food is good. Love the spinach dip and croissants. My husband got the steak and shrimp. They overcooked the steak but chef remade it. Pleasant experience over all, the margarita was strong and did not disappoint.

Had dinner here with the family and we all ordered different plates. Ribs, shrimp alfredo, salmon, steak, and chicken tenders. The ribs and tenders are always on point! The shrimp alfredo is pretty good too. What surprised me the most was their sides, I got the broccoli cheddar and cole slaw.... sooooooooo good!!!! Service was great and so was the ambiance.

Wonderful time here. Axel was great and super helpful, friendly, and patient. I enjoy coming here for a casual place to eat or a nice date spot. Happy hour all day and good food prices. It's definitely worth making a trip.

This is my 2nd time visiting this restaurant. I had a bad experience the 1st time and vowed never to come back but my daughter's teacher invited us. The food was good, we enjoyed the appetizers of croissants and chips with dip. My food was a tad salty but not bad. I think I will be back with my family.

If you decide to come here HAVE 2EXTRA HOURS FOR FOOD AND SERVICE. Meatloaf was nasty smh expecting more tbh. Alfredo penne needs more Alfredo pretty dry. Spinach dip was delicious 😋 chips full of salt🤢 pot pie was ok wouldn't get it again at all.

I used to eat at Cheddar's all the time and the food was delicious! It's been years since I've come here and will probably be a while before going to another one... The service was quick, but the food was okay. My daughter had chicken tenders and fries and they were hot as well as good! My grilled chicken was cooked perfectly, but it wasn't hot. The whole plate was warm and my shrimp wasn't even cooked all the way... I remember them having small bowls for the sides, but everything was on one plate. Juice from the green beans and carrots were mixed with the lukewarm rice...it was not appealing! I gave 3 stars for service and my daughter enjoyed her chicken tenders. I may try another location and get something else.

I’ve only ever had Cheddar’s one other time and now I see why. I ordered a full rack of ribs with southern green beans and the broccoli cheese casserole. The bbq sauce on the ribs was good but the ribs themselves were kind of dry. The green beans were just blahhh, nothing special. My favorite parts of this meal were the croissants and the broccoli cheese casserole. This will likely be my last visit, as the menu is pretty basic in my opinion.

I was excited about eating here. I got the ribs and shrimp with broccoli rice and broccoli. The shrimp and sides were great, the ribs were drrrrrrry and hard. I couldn't even eat the last rib as u can see it was so dry I used the knife to get it off the bone. I do not recommend this dish at all. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good but the food was disappointing for the price.

Dined in today at this specific location as it is our favorite! We frequent here every couple of months and typically have the best service. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case today. We were sat around 3 pm and were greeted off the bat. Our server came to take our drink order and went off to tend to his other tables. We didn’t get our drinks until about 10 minutes later, and we quickly realized that would be the experience for the rest of our visit. We were ready to order within 10 minutes of being there, but didn’t get the chance to. Our server had so much going on he couldn’t really cater to us, but what was strange is we didn’t see a manager come out onto the floor once. We watched the host, busser, food server and the one server in the area. When we needed something, we waited several minutes at a time to be helped. And then we finally got to order, and just waited for the food. It was great, but I was a bit disappointed. When my food came out, my steak was well done instead of medium-well. I still ate it, as to not ask too much of my server and have to wait for a new one to be made again. Did I mention our drink refills came when our food did? The food was good, but I do wish it had been made correctly. Or that I felt comfortable enough to share my concern and know that I would get a new one on the fly. I just didn’t trust it with how the flow was going. Also, it was ironic. When we were packing up to leave, we finally saw someone with a headset walk out of the kitchen. I assume that was the manager! I just hope next time, the staff has help when it gets even a little busy. Kudos to our server for keeping his composure and handling it though!

Food was ok, service was slow. Its not my first time here and everytime I come here the servers take a long time to get you a box to go and I had to go look for them for the third time in this place. Definitely opportunities in prioritizing there tables.

I hardly ever post reviews but this experience is still bothering me so I’m going to get it off my chest. I want to first say the server, Marcus, was very nice and friendly, I just don’t think he was ever trained properly. To start, I ordered a cocktail and had to ask for a straw as he was walking away. No big deal. I ordered the steak, medium, and fried shrimp with a loaded baked potato and corn. I was asked if I wanted bacon on it, thinking he’s just asking in case I don’t eat pork, so I said sure. Come to find out it was a .99 cent up charge that he never notified me about. Customers should ALWAYS be advised of any up charges when asking if they want something additional. This avoids confusion. Usually the waiter will wait until I cut into my steak before walking away. Did not happen and my steak was very very rare. Had to flag him down. I expected a new steak to be served but he brought the original steak and it was overdone. At that point I was starving and just ate the rubbery steak. During all this hoopla, I didn’t originally realize that the corn was missing from my order until I reviewed the receipt. Between my steak, missing corn, and the up charge for the bacon, one would think he would have addressed these issues with a manager before I requested it. Then was told he couldn’t find the manager. He then offers to give me the corn to go?? All this to say that nothing was handled correctly and more training needs to happen.

The food was good as always here, however the service was astonishingly bad. The server was very nice and polite, but failed on almost all fronts. Forgot to bring us our bread to start, then never did after we reminded him. Wasn't going to ask what I wanted to order, only my wife. Forgot about bringing our drink order. Then put in the wrong drink order and still brought it (bottle vs draft). Then forgot to put in our appetizer order so we never got it. Brought the food without utensils, and after bringing utensils realized there was only a fork in each one. I had the country fried chicken so I needed a knife. He left and came back saying they were "out of knives and were cleaning more in the kitchen". I waited 10 minutes for a knife and then had to flag him down to remind him I couldn't cut up my food to eat it and he finally brought a knife. Makes me really question if I should go back here.

We recently dined at Cheddar’s and remembered it being delicious with great service in the past. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The food quality has declined significantly. We ordered salmon, and it was overcooked. It also appeared to be the very end piece of the tail, which was extremely dry and poorly presented. The baked potato was served undercooked as well. Our server was kind and doing his best, but the service was very slow because he was handling many tables on his own. We were also seated on the bar side which was extremely loud.

We visited Cheddar’s at 10601 Westpark Dr in Houston for lunch today. My wife and her friend Sharon were attending a seminar nearby, and I had just come into town to meet my wife. I’ve been very busy opening a restaurant in Georgetown, so these small moments together matter a lot to us. They arrived a few minutes before I did. When I sat down, our server Chad (light-skinned African American gentleman with face tattoos) greeted us and asked if I wanted a drink or water. He was polite at that time. My wife mentioned that they were on a one-hour lunch break and would be ordering shortly. It was a fairly busy lunch shift. About ten minutes passed. We noticed Chad putting two tables together. My wife’s friend tried to get his attention because we were short on time. He made eye contact and shook his head while finishing what he was doing, which we understood. I even told Sharon to give him a moment because he was busy. After finishing, he walked by our table. Sharon politely said, “Can we please order? We are in a rush.” He responded that he had to get to another table first and would be over shortly. My wife asked if he could at least take her order quickly since they had to return to the seminar. At that point, he let out an audible sigh and said, “Fine.” From there, his attitude shifted completely. When Sharon ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and asked what gravy came with it, he told her to “it's on the menu.” When my wife ordered the Monte Cristo and asked about adding something to the order, he told her, “Listen, you can’t add anything else to this order. Do you understand?” That tone and wording were unacceptable. I have worked in the restaurant industry for years and understand how busy lunch shifts can be. I am generally very calm and understanding. I was actually on his side at first. But the dismissive tone, sighing, and telling guests to “read the menu” crossed the line from busy to rude. I stood up and let him know we would be leaving. I then asked to speak to the manager, Kawari. She approached quickly and was friendly. I explained the situation. She said, “I don’t know what’s going on with him. I will talk to him. This is not Cheddar’s standard.” I appreciate her professionalism. However, the moment was already lost. I hadn’t seen my wife in two weeks. These small moments matter. Unfortunately, this experience took away from that time. Do better!

We came in during a seminar lunch break and were on a tight schedule. After waiting to order, our server Chad became visibly irritated, sighed at us, and spoke in a rude tone when I asked a simple question about my order. The manager was kind, but the service experience ruined what should have been a quick, pleasant lunch.

This was the worst Cheddar's experience I ever had. The initial experience was already mid but not enough to make waves. After finishing our dining experience, I wanted to make an order to go. I pressed the call server button and waited 15 to 20 min. I raised the pay system to get their attention. Chad never came back to the table after writing down my to go order . I waited almost an hour for my order just for my friend to go up and inquire twice about the order and they gave a completely different order from what I asked for. I will not be coming back.

By far, 10/10 one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Waited over 20 mins to be seated on a slow evening, ok. Sat down and the server took our drink and appetizer order, then never came back until about 25 minutes later. With no drinks. "Oh shit, your drinks!" By that point we had been waiting to order for about 20 minutes, with nothing in front of us. The server was high out of his mind and we watched him fumble around in his apron for a pen when there was already a pen right in front of him. We finally got our drinks, but we're still missing our appetizer and cocktail from ~30 mins prior. The manager was notified, but was ultimately absolutely inept at solving anything. We were about to walk-out when the manager brought the cocktail and promised that service was going to turn around, but we made the mistake of giving her and Cheddar's the benefit of the doubt. Nothing got better, it was laughable how bad it was. And that does make me a little sad, because I actually used to really love Cheddar's (I was stoked that the Spasagna was back) but I highly doubt I will be returning. DUMPSTER FIRE 🔥

Very bad service , it wasnt even busy when we arrived, 1 drink took 25 min to make and it was delivered after we almost finished meal. Bar attender lady was mean and brushed me off when (after 25 min) i politely asked her if drink will come any time soon. Food was old, and there was something in the fish which looks like worms, but I’m not sure I will just attach the picture but anyway is disgusting. Manager finally showed up by the time we were leaving . Horrible experience.

We waited over 20 minutes before we left because nobody ever came to our table. The hostess seated us and gave us the menus and that was the last time anyone spoke to us. What made it worse was the fact that we had a wheelchair user with us and it take a bit to get them in and out of the car.
