My recent visit to Cyclone Anaya’s was absolutely fantastic, and the highlight of the entire experience was our server, Sandy. From the moment we sat down, Sandy made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Her energy was warm, her timing was perfect, and her attention to detail elevated the entire meal. She offered excellent recommendations, checked on us consistently without ever hovering, and made sure everything—from our drinks to our entrées—was exactly right. It’s rare to find a server who can balance professionalism with such a personable, friendly touch, but Sandy does it effortlessly. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service from Sandy made the evening truly memorable. If you’re dining at Cyclone Anaya’s, definitely ask for Sandy—you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommended!

I came in today to relax with a couple of margaritas and beers, and I’m so glad I chose this place. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I felt comfortable bringing my son along. Our waitress, KAYLEN, was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The drinks were great, the service was even better, and the whole experience was genuinely enjoyable. Thank you, Kaylen, for taking such good care of us—we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

My bartender Telvin was so attentive and kind, and was able to find a drink for a picky gal like me. If you’re ever in the area come through, the food is delicious and the drinks are strong. Cyclones midtown is a hidden gem, can’t wait to come back!

I had such a great experience at Cyclone Anaya’s! The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was good, and everything felt so well taken care of. I especially want to highlight our server, Raven. She was so kind and attentive. It’s like she has a natural ability to make guests feel comfortable and valued. She checked on us at the perfect times, offered great recommendations, and carried such a positive energy throughout our meal. Cyclone Anaya’s is lucky to have someone like her on their team. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I can’t recommend Raven enough!

John was an incredible server. The food was amazing! John’s attentiveness was appreciated. I will definitely be coming back to this location. I highly recommend the El Don margarita. (And adding crab to your nachos!) They also have an incredible Happy Hour!

From the moment we walked in we knew this would be our a new hangout spot. The atmosphere was fabulous. The energy was engaging and lovely. The food was very good I liked. My veggie fajita was unseasoned but grilled to perfection. It came with a sauce that my friend sucked up which was why I had no seasoning. I like this place and highly recommend it. The price was reasonable and the wait staff are real pros. They clearly enjoy their job. Melissa however stole the cake and served it up to us! Parking can be tricky but it’s well worth the effort.

I ordered an Arnold Palmer, brisket enchiladas and a tres leches to go. The brisket enchiladas were pretty good but on the drier side, the beans were creamy and the Brussel sprouts stole the show! They were perfect, crispy and savory. The tres leches cake was also really good! Overall it was a good experience.

This use to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I always got the crab nachos. The food was still great but the service at the bar wasn’t the best. There were a lot of big parties but the service was mediocre. Ambience and music were STILL vibes. Their drinks are 10/10.

The young man that placed my order, could have been a little bit more knowledgeable about what I was ordering. Even though, I was specific, he still just put in what he thought I wanted, so, when I received my order, it was wrong. That's all good. He learned what the correct order was "supposed" to be, so next time, hopefully he will get it right. The manager had to come and correct it, and he showed the y/m how to do it right. The young man was very respectful and well mannered. I appreciated him and the manager for fixing my order. The kitchen staff, however, sucked! They did not give the correct ratio of beef for the queso I ordered. I told the young guy, don't even worry about it. I get better service at the one at City Centre anyway, so that's where I will be going. All good. I didn't wanna cause a big fuss, because they wouldn't have liked it.😉 Grabbed my order and left. We were a party of 8. The restaurant was not very busy but I guess they were understaffed. We had to ask for chips and salsa. One person didn't get water, because they were washing the glasses. The people that did receive water didn't get refills. Service did not improve until I threatened that we were leaving even though we had placed our order. The manager came to the table and rather rudely informed us that the restaurant was very busy and they were trying to take care of us. Once the food was coming out there was a young lady that I believe was a waitress who seemed to come and get the ball rolling on getting us everything we needed and she was very pleasant (she was not our original waitress). We were only in town for the marathon so good or bad we probably wouldn't come back. I however do not recommend. There are too many other TexMex restaurants in the area to pay as much as we did for ok food and bad service

We had reservations Saturday at 5pm to celebrate my adult daughter’s birthday. We arrived 5 minutes early and walked into a fairly empty restaurant. The hostess was going to sit us right in the middle of the front dining area, next to a table full of kids from a cheer comp. We kindly asked for a booth and were seated in a booth in the back area. We watched several servers look at us and ignore us completely. We even watched two managers take turns giving an interview at a table right next to us, and still completely ignored. One server was just talking away with a two top only a few tables away. Another chatted with the manager at the bar. We had already paid for parking and were really looking forward to eating here after reading reviews and visiting other locations. After 15 minutes, a bus boy walked by and realized we didn’t have any chips or salsa and immediately ran to get us some. When he came back, we asked if he was our server because we were past ready for some margaritas and he kindly said no, that the server would be right with us. We waited a couple more minutes and got up to leave. The ONLY employee that realized a table was leaving without any service was that same busboy, who did try to stop us but it was too late. We walked to the bar next door to find a new Tex-mex restaurant to go to. The bartender there said she had heard other people have the same experience. Won’t be back and I will not be recommending to any friends or family. I have an idea of why we experienced this service, but won’t elaborate on that…
