Whew! After not eating all day, I was dying for some fulfilling delicious food! Well, you’re probably wondering whether the wait was worth it?!? Yes!! I had the Blackened Mahi-mahi picatta and when I say that the flavors all meshed oh so well, I mean it! I have never cleaned a plate like that in one setting! The portion was appropriate and the mushrooms set it off. Some of the spinach was cooked and some wasn’t. The soggy/crunchy mixture gave my tastebuds a run for their money! I couldn’t have picked a better place to eat! Great money spent and great customer service!

Great place for breakfast. I had the vegetable omelet which was really good. My buddy had the Open Faced Beef Tenderloin which he said was amazing!!! The mimosas had a generous portion of champagne as well. The wait staff was great as well. We will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful time! Bunch is amazing! We started with mamosa‘s and crawfish hush puppies. They are sprinkled in powdered sugar and served with a spicy honey. Nice little spot we found in the downtown area right before the Astros game. Food was delicious! I ordered the Pork Ribeye and eggs. The flavor or the pork was unbelievable! Nice relaxing atmosphere while dining outdoors in the cool kept shaded area for comfort. Server was great!

We were in Houston for only a couple days. This spot was so good, we ate here every night. It is definitely a hidden gem and we will be going back the next time we're in town. This is a nice spot for brunch, lunch, and/or dinner. The food is awesome, and I like that atmosphere. However, the service at times can be hit or missed. I have been here a couple of times since moving into the midtown area. The first time, it took a moment for us to get our checks. Because they were separate. (Took almost 30 minutes) I dont know if the waitress was new, but we tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. The 2nd time we went in thinking, let's make it easy on the both of us because we only have an hour for lunch. A little bit of a wait but not bad. But the 3rd time the waitress was on it. We didn't have to ask for anything she was giving us everything we needed for that wow experience. So that brought my rating up from a 3 to a 4. Overall, as you can see, I have been back again and again. Because it is a nice spot with great food (good portions, I always get a to go plate) and good on your pockets. Try them out.

We are leaving Houston for greener grasses and net some friends for dinner. We chose the restaurant because it is BYOB and wanted to delete some wine stores. We found the staff delightful, accommodating and just plain wonderful. We had six different appetizers. The presentations are excellent, the portions perfect and the flavors spot on. The bruschetta was our favorite. The pesto in the artichoke dip was a great twist on an old favorite. We shared the osso buco and the beef rib papperdelle. The osso buco was the best that I've ever had. The cinnamon, paprika and truffle oil in the rissoto were amazing. We also had a piece of chocolate cake that was moist with a heavenly chocolate buttercream. We will be back.

I was BLOWN away by this place. Not at all what I was expecting walking in but was the best surprise tou could have when it comes to good food! Everything was incredible and my 6 year old TORE UP their calamari and squid i belibe it was plate. Mac and cheese we had was absolutely delicious, my med rare steak was delicious and cooked too perfection. Brussels were perfect. I tried the lavender haze cocktail and that just put the cherry on top of everything. Pricing of the plates were good as well. Over all, its definitely not your average restaurant but worth every penny.

Went to Houston this weekend for a friend’s birthday. We found this place on google and it did not disappoint!! It was so good we went back the next morning. My husband and I return today to watch a college football game. Deven not only recognized us he had the TV programed with a front table seat. Kirsten was our waitress and did a good job keeping us watered and feed to the end of the game...over 3 hours. Rad also made our experience great with his hospitality. I had the crab cakes and the sauce was as delicious as the giant crab cake. My husband had a big breakfast platter and left nothing on the plate. For the fourth inning of the game I ordered the beet and arugula salad. I chopped it to coat the greens with the delicious hidden dressing. We will return!

Visiting Houston from Denver and decided we would give this place a try. Ordered online for pick up. Got there early and waited for my food. Restaurant appeared clean and the staff was very friendly. They let me know the item I ordered online was actually taken off the menu and they weren't sure why it was still showing up online, but he said he went ahead and told the chef to make it for me. Food tasted great and pricing was very reasonable. Would recommend this restaurant.

This was my favorite lunch place during my working days. Now retired almost 7 yrs, but on lark decided to try it again for a weekend lunch, this time with my wife rather than office people. Nothing has changed; the same retro vibe, the same great food but so reasonable. We ordered gumbo to share, about the best we have had. Also ordered a blackened red fish, a cheeseburger with generous drizzle of carmelized onions with a side of onion rings. Absolutely delicious; in fact my wife was surprised not only by the quality but the range of offerings from a diner like this. So glad I came back to reexperience this hidden gem. Definitely recommend to Houston downtowners who haven’t been here yet.

Just what you expect with a mini diner. Perfectly located just south of downtown and the food is great. The pancakes were perfectly cooked and the pesto chicken sandwich was spot on. They put the pistol sauce on the side depending on your seasoning preference. Will go again!

I ordered my eggs over medium and they had a creaminess to them which made me think they were using farm fresh eggs 🤔. Huge plus for them. Fresh eggs make a difference. will definitely return 1000%

Went here after church on a Sunday and the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. The place is not very big so I would not recommend a large group unless you don’t mind sitting outside. Also, I would recommend coming before 11 on a Sunday because they started getting crowded when we were leaving.

We request a table inside (in a current heatwave) they sat us at a table we waited for at least 10 mins for service before some staff member came and told us we would have to sit outside because the table they sat us at was only meant for 2 guest (even though it was a table set up for 6 and there was only 5 of us) said the table blocked the restroom. So I’m wondering why they sat us there and even had a table that large set up anyway that “blocked” the restroom. Other than the layout and logistics of the restaurant the food was really good. I would just maybe recommend one of the other locations

We walked from our hotel on Dallas Street to this diner for breakfast. Immediately had a seat and were given menus. My husband had the crab and eggs, and I had the spinach/egg on naan with fruit. Everything was very good. Our server was very nice and attentive. There is also outdoor seating for warm weather. Prices are reasonable. Cop show on TVs was a turnoff but...the dessert sign looked like they serve some awesome pies. Too early for us to try.

I chose this particular establishment because I liked the old fashioned diner look and wanted to eat some old fashioned diner food. This establishment was more than I expected. The look and feel was that of an old diner. However, the food was anything but that. My wife and I popped in for a late lunch on Sunday and was surprised by the menu. My wife chose the Blackened Mahi Mahi Picatta with a side of Risotto. The dish was an explosion of taste. The Mahi Mahi was flaky and cooked to perfection. The sauce was done very well and added a depth of flavor to compliment the fish and linguini noodles. I ordered the Lamb Chops. My dish came on a bed of Risotto and Asparagus. The Asparagus was soft with a slight crunch, and the Risotto was cheesy and packed with flavor. The Lamb Chops were cooked medium and had a very mild game taste to it. All in all, a fantastic dish. I highly recommend a visit to this establishment for a culinary surprise.

Nice spot to eat, good variety on the menu. Had breakfast. Ordered one of the combo breakfasts with eggs, bacon sausage, and homemade potatoes, which was very good. The chicken and waffles were also a good size portions, enough to share. The place needs a make-over, and service needs a little bit of training, but overall, ok. They have outdoor seating and a free small parking lot in the back, food was good, I would recommend.

The location is a little weird. Not bad. Just odd. When you drive up you see a billboard takes over the view looking at the side of the restaurant. We parked in the back. Parking is a little tight. We wanted to sit outside because the temperature was just right, and they had fans. Unfortunately I was wearing white pants and that wouldn’t have worked out. Our waitress (forgive me for not remembering her name) was Turkish, blonde hair, beautiful inside and out! She is very knowledgeable about the menu and food! She explained everything very well and make several recommendations! Definitely ask for her! Let them know the lady from Turkey! She does not hover but makes sure you’re taken care of. The food portions were GINORMOUS! The food was just delicious! I REALLY enjoyed the pancakes 🥞! The breakfast potatoes were out of this world! My husband really liked his omelet! Nothing has completely "wowed" us...maybe because it's definitely diner food with fine dining prices. The 2nd visit we ordered drinks and were given glasses with lip stick stains on them. I ordered the gumbo to go and the rice for it came in the tiniest container. We laughed about it for the remainder of our lunch. The gumbo was tasty though. The only thing I would order again is the frozen Bellini for $8. There are a few breakfast items we want to try. Customer service is top notch. It sounds like happy hour is the best time to go.

Service was friendly. Fries were yummy and the regular burger was pretty good. Spinach artichoke dip was pretty alright but a little watery. The crab cake burger was unfortunately pretty tasteless. Eating it with the bun, I could just taste the bun, and when I took that off, I didn't really taste anything.

We had high hopes but we got there and we were surprised at the location (right next to the freeway and main road). We figured we'd still give it a shot. My girlfriend was hoping to try several different things but none were available. I was hoping for one of the cake selections, also none available. My girlfriend ordered the Mac and cheese, when I tried it, it was the BLANDEST Mac n cheese I've ever had. My pepsi was flat. My burger was good but my steak fries wear about the same as Red Robbins (meh). I ordered Banana pudding and was brought something resembling bread pudding.... On any other visit this would be a five star review. We make a point of eating here whenever we visit Houston. We dined here back in June and had an excellent meal served by an attentive staff. The food is always delicious. I especially love the Chopped Brussels Ice Burger Bun-less. It is a concoction of seemingly disparate ingredients that are excel together. Unfortunately our server tonight seemed to have forgotten we were present once the food was delivered. Server L #28 was chatting up other customers at the bar, watching the baseball game, hanging out in the kitchen, or playing with his phone but we were unable to catch his eye for beverage refills, to have the plates cleared, or to get our check. We finally aske the young woman covering the floor with him for a final beverage and our check, which she quickly brought to the table. We still waited almost ten minutes after she brought our bill and we’re just about to walk up to the bar and ask to be cashed out when #28 finally deigned to run our credit card so we could get on home. Bless the woman who served us better than our waiter. We look forward to better service on our next visit.

The place was cute and the portion sizes pretty good, that's where the positives of this place kind of end. I ordered the American, and got the fries I didn't ask for which they charge extra for. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle for $2 and just ate them. However they were very mediocre and taste like the kind you would buy at the store and bake in your oven at home. The burger looked really nice, but lacked flavor. The meat was cooked pretty much well done, and the fried egg was overdone so it was all quite dry. To add insult to injury, they automatically included a 20% tip. I can only assume this is because we were a group of six, but the waiter did less work serving us then they would have two tables of 2. Some of the people in my group liked it, most found it rather average.

The food looks great, but it doesn't taste great. The cheese grits were surprisingly bland and unappetizing. I couldn't finish it, not because it was bad, but because it was so boring and flavorless. Everything else we ordered was pretty much the same.

Food is good dont get me wrong but the customer service is unprofessional. Placed 5 online orders separately for me and some co workers all were requested to be ready at 12:30. An email was sent at 11:45 that 1 order was ready. Because of this we left to pick up food immediately. When we arrived around noon 4 order were already prepared and on the counter. We asked about the 5th order and was told it wasnt ready that it wouldn't be until 12:30. I confirmed through email all orders were requested to be ready at 12:30. The manager was rude and seemed bother about the situation. Not sure what the problem was but if you cant handle online orders then just dont make it an option.

I came here for brunch with a friend and was honestly disappointed. The food was extremely under-seasoned, to the point where it tasted bland across the board. The service was actually pretty decent, which I appreciate, but the atmosphere didn’t help much—it’s very plain and sits right in the middle of a highway. That alone wouldn’t bother me if the food delivered, but it didn’t. Even the mimosas were a letdown; they tasted like fizzy water with barely any flavor. Overall, not an experience I’d return for.

The others in my party said the food was great. Had I ever gotten what I ordered before we were ready to leave, I might have an opinion. Staff has an inability to even mix drinks with the ingredients listed on their menu. Ordered a Bloody Mary, watched them make it. After lining the rim, they poured 2 fingers of Tabasco in the glass, then poured 3 shots of shaken Vodka over that, and brought it to the table. Once it choked me, I sent it back, and they stood in the back & laughed about it, as my entire party could see them through the kitchen doors. Then took another 20 minutes watching a video on his phone trying to figure out how to mix it. We eventually just left.

Visited more than 5 times, staff is always rude. The food is mediocre at best and way over priced. The only reason I return is for the patio ambiance.

I am writing to formally report an unprofessional and disappointing experience I had at your restaurant on February 28 at approximately 12:50 PM while picking up an order as an UberEats delivery driver. Upon entering the establishment, I was not greeted by any staff member. I stood waiting at the counter while multiple employees saw me but chose not to acknowledge my presence. When I politely stated that I was there to pick up an UberEats order for my customer, the response I received was dismissive and extremely rude. What was most concerning is that a manager was present during this interaction and did not intervene, assist, or address the situation. As someone representing a customer who ordered from your restaurant, I expect at minimum basic professionalism and courtesy. Delivery drivers play an important role in your business. We represent your brand directly to customers. When staff treat drivers with disrespect, it not only creates an uncomfortable work environment but also reflects poorly on the restaurant itself. I work hard to provide good service to customers, and I expect to be treated with basic respect in return. I am requesting that this matter be addressed internally to ensure that delivery partners are treated professionally moving forward.

The Bad (The Product Failure): That is where the positive experience ends. I paid $28.01 for a cheeseburger and fries, which is a gourmet price. What I received was the lowest-quality food imaginable: The Conclusion: The owners are clearly trying to cover high costs in this midtown location by putting a premium price on genuinely terrible ingredients. You're paying for the excellent service labor, but they are absolutely cheating you on the food. Do not buy the burger. The price does not match the product. Burger: The meat was aggressively tough and completely flavorless. It felt like cheap ground product handled badly. ​Fries: The fries were not salted, and they tasted heavily of old, burnt oil. This is a basic failure in kitchen maintenance and seasoning. The Good (Only): Seriously, the staff is phenomenal. Top-tier, professional, and efficient. That’s the absolute best part of this place. ​
