This night we went it was for a dinner party. We were a party of 13 to 14 people! 4 different checks! The waitress was awesome! Fast friendly! I ordered a Michelada who ever brought it out, gave it to the wrong person but as soon as I asked her, where was my drink, she figured it out and gave it to me. Fast was fresh and hot.

Came in on a Monday for lunch in early November 2023. Ordered the raw oysters and a bowl of seafood soup. The soup was delicious and very flavorful. I’m not a fan of imitation crab though. The raw oysters were fresh. A tad smaller than I would have liked but they were also delicious.

It's a family oriented place. Food was great, and unbeatable for the price. Good micheladas, too. I wish they had aguachile but they sure make up for it. I'll be definitely going back.

Picked up a seafood platter with fried rice. (seafood and fried rice combo is something I recently found and I was curious about it). The seafood including fish, shrimp, oysters and scallops was really good. I really liked their fried rice but when it comes to fried seafood, I prefer to have it with french fries after all.

My family and I have been going to this place since I can remember it all started with my grandma, and now that's she is not with us anymore. We still feel that she is sitting next to us when we go there. It was her favorite spot.

Food is always solid quality fried seafood at good prices. The 30 fried shrimp plate is a great deal and can feed two.

I ordered a small shrimp soup and it was good. Hot and fresh. It was served with a bread and it didn’t need any additional condiments. The soup was already spicy but not crazy.

We arrive just in time to catch their lunch special and it’s was good. This was 30 shrimp and fried rice for 13$. I ate some of my food and was able to finish the rest for dinner. The picture don’t do justice for the amount of food on this plate.

If you are looking for a good place for fried shrimp this should be on the list! As for the other foods I have only tasted the fried fish and it didn't check all the boxes. That said you can get 12 large shrimp for $8 with fries or rice and it's not gummy or pastey in any way!

This is an amazing place for seafood. I have tried many seafood restaurants before but I can surely say this one has became my favorite one. They have a very friendly staff. The overall service is nice and most importantly the food is amazing. We tried it for the first time and I loved it. They give one dip with every dish which taste amazing. Worth for price.

Had a late lunch, went for the fish n jumbo shrimp. Shrimp was firm, fresh n delicious with plenty of fried rice. Broccoli was cooked just right , not too soft. Strong tea was fine.

For the price I’m not sure that I’ve been to a better seafood restaurant. Their seafood soup is nice and spicy with loads of seafood. We always share a large ceviche and polish it off before the entrees come. Even when the restaurant is busy and it seems like you get seated quickly and get your food fast as well. Really enjoy eating here!

Was told by a friend that this is the best fried seafood in Houston. Drove 40 min and confirmed. It’s really good. Good batter, large shrimp, fresh seafood and fresh tasting fish. The amount of food you get for what you pay makes this a really great deal. We did the middle party package they feeds about 10-12 but was so much food we had 3 boxes of leftovers. I believe it had 90 shrimp, 20 fish, 2 fried rice and fries. Crazy amount of food. The oysters tasted fresh and the ceviche was very fresh. I believe their tarter sauce is handmade and tasted much better than store bought tarter sauce (tarter sauce is important to my kids and I for fried seafood). Waitstaff was very good and accommodated our tarter sauce need by really giving us a lot of tarter sauce. I hate it when restaurants comes back with 1 extra tarter cause. She came back with 8 tarter sauces like a champ.

Great all around ... Insane value ..... friendly like you're a regular service ... ONLY drawback is every one else agrees .. LOL . I took a point off because it can get crazy crowded at peak times. Try to time your visit at off peak times!!!! Insane large plates, come out hot and fast. I've tried their fries, their caldo, their Micheladas, their boils. .. about 6 visits total ... The last time the only seat was the bar . Our server felt like a long time friend in just a few minutes of us sitting down. Chatty and real. Could probably do with a visit a few time a month if it was closer . But worth the drive . especially the 30 shrimp platter.

This place is always delicious and prices are great! I would eat here everyday if I could! The menu is huge. There is something for everyone! Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

The Micheladas are good here; I’m definitely going back. I got the fried shrimp and fish, and it was delicious. The fries are really yummy too. They have a hot sauce on the table that’s also bomb. The servers were attentive, even though we went a little late. The ambiance was good; I was enjoying my fries and jamming to the music.

My experience was a great one. I wanted seafood with a beer and walked in and got MORE than what I bargained for. Loved it! My kids liked it and its hard to make them happy. So good there and be surprised like was. You won't regret it!!

The food is good, I have been here many times and I've always liked what I get. The only thing is that lately the waitresses haven't been so kind as before. I was headed to a another restaurant when I saw this Golden Seafood Restaurant on Airline Dr. at Link St. I really like their dining room. It's very festive. I ordered the fried fish and shrimp combination platter with fries on the side. It was good, but a little too greasy for my taste. Next time I dine at this restaurant, think I'll go with the grilled fish. My server was friendly and the service was prompt.

The food is delicious. I had the Cancun Shrimp and asked for toasted bread. So good!! My hubby had the vuelve a la vida cocktail and a tostada de ceviche. To drink i had a strawberry margarita but didn't like it because it wasn't even a little strong. Also the waitress needs to smile more she had a serious look like if she didn't like what she does. In a job like that you have to interact with ppl and smile so the customer can come back and feel welcomed. But over all the food is good!

My recommendation is that you go with the grilled platters and avoid the fried options. Portions are generous and nicely priced. But stick with grilled.

The place is very popular and filled with people on the weekends. Since the restaurant is large, there’s usually not a wait. The seafood is a bit better than average but it tastes like fried frozen seafood. The oyster plate was fresh but they weren’t amazing oysters. Overall, the restaurant is worth stopping by once or twice if you’re nearby and the seafood won’t break the bank.

Food was hot and fresh but the 30 piece shrimp was not seasoned like I remember from previous visits. I also ordered fish soup but received seafood soup - tasty and spicy but I didnt care for the bits of octopus and imitation crab. I still prefer the fish soup. Service was respectful and restaurant was clean. A bit tight with seating but there is a multigeneration family vibe that gives you hometown feels.

Food was good, no one helps no one. Staff is scattered. My mother had to get up the first time to get someone’s attention after they brought the food one came to check in. I had to get up to get someone’s attention. I expect better from a long established restaurant. I asked someone who worked here a guy with short hair if he could ask out waitress to come. He went to stand by the bar with the rest off the staff and one came. That’s when I had to get up and get someone. 5/10 expect good food, but bad service.

The worse service staff and Manager Chrity was very rude. I ordered brocoli and beef with fried rice and they serve fried rice with shrimp. When I asked to replace my rice as I am allergic to shrimp the waitress was rude did not care that I can get sick said they can serve me the fried rice withoutthe shrimp for an additional cost. A year ago my father passed away so we decided to commemorate him by going to his favorite restaurant, golden seafood. I called and let them know that we would have a big group of people maybe 20 to 25 people. They were made aware of why we were going there. When we got there they had the front section of the restaurant closed off. I asked if we could have that area since it was a bit quieter and we would all be together. After talking to 3 people I was finally told that if we wanted that area it would be a $60 charge. I was totally confused on why it would be an extra charge since it was part of the restaurant. Needless to say we went with the tight area that gave us with all the loud music. The food was over cooked. We didn't get rice for one of the kids. The service was mediocre. The food was over cooked. We were not happy at all. We paid over $1000 for an unsatisfactory commemorative dinner. We will definitely not be returning and I'm sure my father would understand. We will find another way and place to commemorate him.

But then never ever came back to check on us. We had finished eating already and no one ever would come bring us our bill. i got a hair on my food, it was under the aros and they told me they couldn’t do anything because i was “done” with my plate, keep in mind there was 3/4 of aros i wasn’t even done eating and the hair was found underneath it.

1st time having a bad experience here. My husband ordered the caldo de mariscos and when we got home and ready to eat, as he was scooping some caldo in his spoon to eat he saw a roach stuck on the cabbage. Made us sick to our stomach! It was stuck on the cabbage I used another utensil to flip it over to check to make sure that is what I was seeing. So gross! Makes me question all the times I ate here. I pray my husband doesn't get sick. Be alert of your food when they bring it out.

Im a costumer for long time ,,, always in this place, I had a bad experience tonight with the security (officer) he dont leave to park my truck infront in the parking lot(only pick up) I was trying to do my order and move me from the restaurant, he's name is Luis, Hispanic, he push me and he was very fackend rud with me and he only told me move it from here he never give any reason about why I have to move my truck from the (pick up Parking) this officer was very stupid with me .... and he was taking pictures of my license plate but I will do everything legal (im looking any good lawyer) im going to do my demand for this wonderful officer, he's name is luis....

When it comes to fish and shrimp soup this is the go to place for me in Houston. There are two location that I usually pay a visit to one inside the hHeights and the other up north both are equally good. I wanted to try out the shrimp fried rice so ordered a small plate too. Very satisfactory indeed. To top it off I had ordered the lemonade too. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a good fish soup to warm the innards. Update August 14th 2022: Last week I visited this place again. They cheated me on my credit card by increasing the tip and slapping the charge on me. Not that the amount was huge but it is a matter of honesty and integrity. I will never visit this restaurant again and recommend everyone to keep an eye on the credit card statement for any inflated amount you see. I changed my rating from 5 stars to a solitary one. Shame on the people who work there😡😡😡😡😡

I'm so disappointed in this restaurant. I have been going there for years every sunday buying $60 or more on food and never had any problems. I ordered two seafood soups to go. When I got home, they were spoiled. By that time, the restaurant was closed. I called the next day, but they didn't want to replace them or give me credit for both of them. What a waste of money. Very bad customer service, employees do not give a danm about customers. They would rather lose clients that pay to maintain that establishment open, without customers they would close, without customers the will not have a job or a pay check. I do not like to wish anyone anything bad, but this place deserves you close. I will send the city the food inspector. I asked to speak to a manager or the owner, but the two cashiers pretended to be the managers they did not want to give out their names. Never going back, you lost a good customer just for $20. Hope the owner sees this and fixes things around there. Better go their neighbors Tampico mar y tierra. My new favorite restaurant. tue food is better and customer service is great. None of this stupid place. This how their nasty soup ended at the danm floor. No vallan alli la comida no sirve y aun haci la sirven a la gente.
