We tested our “go to” evening dishes to compare with other local restaurants and it was premium. The sweet n sour chicken was tender (not tough or stringy) with a lightly seasoned tempura batter and well balanced sweet n sour sauce. The generals chicken had a delightful crispy batter and a rich savory sauce with mild heat from jalapeño instead of red chilis. Steamed rice was perfect, not gummed nor dry with each grain fluffy. We also tested appetizers; His favorite was the fried wontons, ample cheese puffs with plenty of filling in a full sized crispy wonton. I liked their unique shrimp toast on a crustini bread with a tender spread of shrimp mixture and broiled to crisp the top. The egg rolls were cabbage and pork with stand-alone flavor though the hot mustard and sweet n sour sauce brought it all together. We also had the hot n sour soup and it had a great balance of heat for the mushrooms and vegetables. The wonton soup was our favorite with big tender beef wontons in a light vegetable broth. Everyone was polite and our server Joyce greeted us and was very accommodating and attentive throughout our dinner. We are going back again before 3pm to try more items at the lunch prices.

I've eat rubs like this from a 100 places. Hands down the best. The char the sauce . No boiled taste . The sauce is incredible. In not even tried the soup I ordered. On top of that it was finished way before the time given. Don't sleep on this place .

The food at this restaurant is really good. The food always meets a pretty high standard. As mentioned in other reviews, the egg rolls here are really good. The service here is satisfactory. If I had to compare this restaurant's food to the two other main Chinese restaurants in this area (888 and Clear lake Hunan), the sauces at this restaurant are less thick when compared to the other two. I personally like thicker sauces so I don't go to this restaurant as often but whenever I am in the mood for Chinese food that is less thick, this restaurant never disappoints me.

We are blessed in this area to have a decent number of good Chinese restaurants. This one has only the traditional favorites expected at a suburban Chinese restaurant, but they prepare them very well.

Usually the food here is good, I order the General Tso's chicken and it's amazing, the steamed dumplings are amazing. Just do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT ORDER THE FRIED RICE. It's just horribly overcooked or something, it just tastes burnt and weird, maybe it's the rice they use but I wouldn't order it again.

I went here a year ago(before this review) for the Chinese New year and never really made a review due to not going there for a long while. However after returning I was hit with the amazing staff(who still remembered my family and I) and the food. The steamed dumplings were extremely fresh. The waitress was nice and really felt like I was eating in a nice family restaurant. I've read the reviews and I'm appalled at the reviews based off the take out. I hate to say this but if you're going to give a proper review then go to the restaurant and dine there. Take outs often have flukes and is not exactly the most fresh.

I have ordered from this restaurant many times, to be delivered, and I always ask for cutlery, extra napkins, basic meal necessities, and I have yet to this day received a fork, and napkin, or anything! Update: I just got my order delivered from them, and once again, no utensils, no napkins no sauces, no nothing! How hard is it to put a napkin and a spoon into a bag!?! I like the food from this place, but even when I specifically ask them to include utensils, they never do! This may be the last time I ordered from them.

Had this delivered so I am not sure about the restaurant. The meals and soups were a nice portion. The Beef and Bell pepper was great. Sesame Chicken was bland but not bad. Wonton soup has shredded cabbage but not a real strong flavor. Egg drop soup wasn’t bad. Fried rice has a great smoky flavor. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and it was reasonably priced.

Had this delivered so I am not sure about the restaurant. The meals and soups were a nice portion. The Beef and Bell pepper was great. Sesame Chicken was bland but not bad. Wonton soup has shredded cabbage but not a real strong flavor. Egg drop soup wasn’t bad. Fried rice has a great smoky flavor. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and it was reasonably priced.

It used to be very good. Saturday evening was like a ghost house, no one except us. Waiter proceeded to tell us 1 order vegetable fried rice would be enough for the both of us. Didn't ask if we wanted anything more. Made the fried rice with eggs when we said not to. Not many veggies at all in the rice. We won't come back to this place. We are vegetarians.

My friend and I ate here recently and it was ok. My hot and sour soup was cold and I sent it back. Service is good. Food is not as good as it used to be. Maybe they have a new cook? Prices are great!

It's ok but I guess there's not too many places to choose from in this area. I'm used to some of the best Chinese food from NY and other states on the East coast and this doesn't even compare. The egg drop soup was bland and not how it's usually made, different lighter color too and a more watery consistency. The general tso's was not good. The shrimp with lobster sauce was the only dish I enjoyed, oh and the pork lo mein was decent. The steamed dumplings weren't great either.

The cabbage has black specks everywhere on it. It looks old and the broth tastes old,watery, and bland. However, the rice was ok even though it tastes a bit off and was not fried all the way through either. There were big chunks of white still in it, that also taste soggy. The only good thing was the cream puffs.

When inside it gives a Traditional Chinese environment which was also clean. So ordered the BBQ Spare ribs and the crispy duck. The ribs were amazing a must get. As for the entree, the pricing is a turn off because you have to pay a $1 extra per ingredient for the basic ingredients (carrots, mushrooms, green bean, etc) that you can get from another establishment for a cheaper price. I would go back but for the ribs and try another.

I hate writing this review since everything else is on point, but I’m very disappointed with the lack of flavor in the Wonton Soup. Not only was it as bland as can be, it wasn’t topped with green onions. (Which honestly would have made up for the bland flavor.)

This used to be a great Chinese Restaurant that for as long as I can remember enjoyed eating there or taken out. Both of my parents have passed but I can remember meeting them there to have dinner back in the 90's. Now the past several times I love gone there the food has been so bad I just left without eating. I didn't argue with the bill even though they agreed something didn't taste right. Then just over the Thanksgiving Holiday we decided to give it another shot knowing every place can have a bad day. This is what happened before we ordered our food we told the waitress that my son was highly allergic to both Chicken and Turkey meats and broth. My son ordered a son ton soup & we asked the waitress and Manager to please ask the cook if he used chicken broth. They said no chicken or Turkey but within 20minutes my son found himself violently throwing up from chicken broth. Here is the real kicker, the meal with the soup was $35.00 and they still charged us the full amount even though they agreed that they made a massive mistake by lying to me about asking the Cook if he used Chicken broth. I paid the bill and my son stayed sick for several hours after and really never got to eat. This is a restaurant I remember being so good and now the customer service and management are horrible. This is a restaurant I will never go or spend money again.

I've been going to this place for a while. Before the pandemic everything was good. I walked in and had to stand there and listen to the employees argue for four minutes before they said anything to me. Then when I got my food the rice taste like it had been cooked over and over again. And my appetizers were cold and the beef stick was rancid. It smelled and it also gave me the worst stomach ache. And I only bit half of it!! as far as covid protocols there are signs but the Covid protocols are not followed it was me and two other people in that small little space right in front of the cash register. I hurried up and grabbed my food and ran out of there! I will not be returning to this place for a very long time!!

Ordered via Uber eats, have dined in this restaurant many times, some better than others. Order today really fast and everything hot. Kung po chicken...no spicey flavor and too liquid. Hot and sour soup, very weird watery taste. Egg roll greasy but taste ok probably frozen. Sad this place is sure not as good as it used to be.

I ordered orange chicken lightly crispy, it came out like beef jerky. The steamed pork wonton tasted like the meat was sour, bad and rotten. I will never return to this place. The best part was the steamed rice and broccoli. The restrooms were ok, too.

I had lunch delivered. I ordered the general tso chicken with fried rice and won ton soup and extra egg rolls. The chicken was way too salty and wasn't even spicy. The fried rice was bland so was the soup. The only good thing was the egg rolls. They were very good.

Apart from sticky tables and stained cups, the food wad inedible. The protein I had ordered was so old and rancid that it made me sick after the first bite. None of the ingredients were fresh i.g. imitation garlic, frozen soggy veggies, etc. My tea was made with tap water and the plain steamed rice was so salty, it was as if they’d cooked it in a brine. We didn’t bother complaining as we planned on just not coming back, but when they asked why we didn’t want a to-go box (several times) we told them it was too salty and they just shrugged it off. Nothing was comped and no apology given. The taste of that pork is still with me and I feel the bathroom calling my name.TLDR, not clean, rancid food, salt and imitation garlic are the only flavors, rude staff, and impending diarrheal doom. Don’t recommend EVER going here!

My egg drop soup looked and tasted like it was cooked in gray dishwater. I do not know what kind of flavoring was in the beef and broccoli but it was inedible. The bill was $17 just for me and I couldn't even eat the food without gagging. Didn't taste like any Chinese food I've ever eaten. Just bad bad. 👎 0/10

Ordered take out last night. There were issue with 2 of the items ordered. One was cold in the middle so I know it was not made fresh the second item tasted off like the meat was going bad. I tried to call them back to let them know of the problems. It was only 10 minutes after 9. The do close at 9 but I'm sure the kitchen still has to close down and there should be a manager there to close up. They chose not to answer the phone. Not a good way of doing business. Not happy with the experience.

I have never had food taste this bad. That corn soup had no kind of flavor, that rice was awful and the sweet and sour sauce was not real. I will never go here again.

I was really crazing Chinese food and decided to go here. This food was HORRIBLE! I mean HORRIBLE. I love Chinese food. It's my favorite. I honestly wanted to take it back for a refund. The chicken was slimy and distasteful> The fried rice was full of white rice clusters that had not been fried. I was so disappointed I almost cried. Stay Away

The most bland Chinese food I've ever had even though the two spicy beef dishes were supposed to be spicy and weren't even a little spicy, nothing, no spice, not even a hint of spicyness and worse, the rice has a very weird dirty laundry / dirty socks smell to it, that was really unexpected and strange, how in the heck does that happen? this was my first and last time that I'll order out from there for Chinese food.
