Amazing BBQ place. Jimee and his wife are extremely kind and dedicated to serving the best BBQ in the area.

Food was delicious! Three meat hickory smoked BBQ is a must. The Couple who runs the place are amazing and even added a free drink. The tea is just right.

Great place if you have a layover at IAH. Really enjoyable homemade barbeque experience. We had a chopped brisket sandwich and a sliced brisket sandwich and both were delicious, nicely smokey and sauced. Loved the stories from Jimee and his wife, really friendly people who clearly have large hearts.

Went there for a work lunch with some out of town folks. Jimee and his wife were great. They found out one of the guys was from Kansas City and stayed on him about how Texas BBQ is better. Great lunch break, good food.

I've been here a few times and their food is always top notch and on point. I've eaten lots of BBQ from a lot of places around Houston, around Texas, and around the country and in all honesty, Jimee's hands down is amazing! You can sum it up like this: Simple, delicious, tender, homemade, old school, traditional BBQ. PERIOD. With that being said, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu! I highly recommend Jimee's to everyone I know... The large franchise chains cannot come to close to them on anything....I can't wait to get back on that side of town so I can drop in.... Again!

First time visit today after years of driving by. BBQ sliced beef was awesome and plentiful. I got there about 130pm and cole slaw was gone so I just had beans which were great as well. Jimmy and Mary treat you as family and it was fun to hear some stories. Nice couple with a wealth of BBQ knowledge and history.

Jimee’s BBQ was fantastic! The ribs fell off the bone and the sauce wasn’t overpowering. The owners are lovely and talked with us during our visit about where we’re from/going and the amazing BBQ they make! 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area.

Texas BBQ is the number 1 reason to live in Texas. The brisket here is better than most Texas BBQ. The sauce is more east coast than Texas style. It is okay but not as good as some of the thick sugary spice rich sauces you can get. They do have other sauces I haven't tried so there might be something more classic than what I had. In my life the only time I've had better brisket is some at small town cook offs served fresh and Mueller's BBQ in Taylor Texas. This is definitely a top 5 brisket for the state.

Came here during a 4 and a half hour layover. First time I've ever been happy to have a 4 and a half hour layover. Food was delicious, and the owners were warm and and friendly, just a joy to chat with. Would love to come back for some more sweet tea and hickory smoked BBQ. 6 out of 5 stars.

when I went there the first time, I was surprised there was no barbecue sauce. everything looked too simple at the beginning. But when I tasted Jimee's Brisket I immediately fell in love with their grilling. Jimmy is a very nice guy. He and his wife run this barbecue and I will go there anytime I get a chance to go back to Houston.

Since this is my only option of food around where I work, the food was great! I got a meal deal for $9.20 and paid with a $20. He gave me $11 back and told me to forget about the 80¢ so things were already at a good start. Food filled me up, chopped brisket sandwhich with chips and a 12oz can soda not bad! We began talking about how he cooked his food and cares a lot about the process. Jimee (I assume is his name) is extremely friendly and even showed me his 6 rack rotating smoker he had in his other trailer. On a side note he can cook your turkeys/brisket/chicken etc. For a fee too! So maybe this thanksgiving I'll use it. If you do so be 1-2 weeks before the date you want to receive the turkey because he cooks it ALL in one day.

Great little place, nothing fancy. Open for lunch and closes when they ran out of food around 2-3pm

Saucy. Both brisket and ribs were in different sauces, both tender. The sauce over powered any smoke flavors in the brisket, but the ribs were flavorful. Tip: you can choose to have point, flat, or mix for brisket

The brisket was swimming in grease at the bottom of my styrofoam container. The sausage wasn't very tasty and was mush. Tater salad was par at best, but I suspect store bought. Churched up ranch style beans. The ribs were good, that I have to give to them. For the life of me I can't see how this place has a 4.9 start rating.

The brisket was swimming in grease at the bottom of my styrofoam container. The sausage wasn't very tasty and was mush. Tater salad was par at best, but I suspect store bought. Churched up ranch style beans. The ribs were good, that I have to give to them. For the life of me I can't see how this place has a 4.9 start rating.

The chopped beef sandwiches are really good n the prices are nice. Go on a nice day or order to go since the only seating is outside on picnic tables. UPDATE...I cannot recommend this place any longer. One day the owner informed me that he did not have the proper food license and they were temporarily closed. They reopened but were serving food from what looked like a garage😨

UPDATE...I cannot recommend this place any longer. One day the owner informed me that he did not have the proper food license and they were temporarily closed. They reopened but were serving food from what looked like a garage😨
