TJ was our server for a corporate dinner and he was what you wish every server could be. Knowledgeable, great suggestions, and very friendly while still professional. Our appetizers and mains were so delicious everyone in our group couldn’t stop talking about how flavorful their dishes were. Bunnie also gave great service at the bar before dinner. We can’t wait to come back.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First time checking out Lost and Found in the 4th Ward, and let me just say… I get it now. When you see a restaurant with a 4.8 rating and almost 16K reviews, you already know it’s gonna be something special—and this spot did not disappoint. From the jump, the vibe was right. My bartender, Ace, was super friendly, gave me recommendations, and every single one hit. Food came out in under 10 minutes too—like, how?! That’s when you know the kitchen is locked in. Highlights: $4 Wing Night – Are you kidding me? Eight wings for four bucks. That’s a steal, and they were grilled perfectly. Side Salad – Fresh, crisp, light—like it was just pulled out of the garden. Collard Greens – Straight up reminded me of my mom’s, smoked turkey and all. Just needed a splash of hot sauce and it was perfect. Hot Honey Lemon Pepper Chicken – Whew. THIS was the showstopper. That drizzle? Top tier. Sweet, tangy, sweet, and spicy—basically everything you want in a chicken dish. Between the food, service, and prices, this was one of those meals that sticks with you. Lost and Found is definitely on my “run it back” list.
First time here for brunch and everything was exceptional! Jamaul was the waiter with the most. As a first time guest he gave great recommendations for drinks as well as food. The Cajun Pasta was amazing and The Cadillac Margarita is a must have and favorite. If you are in the area or not you must come to Lost and Found and experience everything for yourself and make sure you ask for Jamaul. The entire staff was very helpful and accommodating as well. Great experience and definitely will be coming back again!
This place it’s such a vibe! We came in Monday night and the food came out super fast 10⭐️service to Cerine was super sweet and attentive best experience ever definitely recommend to come and try this place our server Cerine gave us recommendations in the drinks and they were fantastic when you come definitely ask for Cerine to be your service also the food is so worth it generous portions and super delicious also perfect place for selfies .
My wife and I absolutely fell in love with Lost and Found. The atmosphere, the drinks, and THE FOOD. Hands down some of the best Cajun Pasta I’ve ever had. And that lemon pepper chicken will have you crying tears of joy. If you’re extra lucky, you’ll get Dylana as your waitress, she goes above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. Don’t take my word for it though, just go experience Lost and Found for yourself 🤌
Khalil was an amazing server!!! He made sure we had our drinks filled. Provided wonderful recommendations for food. The Lobster bites were definitely amazing!! The Loaded Cajun pasta was so good!! The mango margarita was my fave over the strawberry. The atmosphere was amazing! Definitely will return for another Happy Hour!!
Trez was an amazing waiter and provided great service throughout our visit. Our reservation and seating were very quick, and the food also came out fast, which was appreciated. The pasta, however, had a bit too much pepper for my taste. I would rate the food a 5/10. The overall restaurant appearance felt a little dated, and the board-style tabletops were somewhat rocky. Overall, I’d give the full service experience a 6.6/10.
The food was excellent, this my 2nd time going my friends first time which she loved as well. Today I got Cajun pasta and Hennessy wings my friend got the gumbo everything was fresh and tasted amazing. My waitress gave me some good choices on food and drinks as well, her service was top tier, thank you bri/bria for all the good recommendations and great service. I will be back AGAIN!
Lost and Found delivered a well-rounded experience. I had the BBQ salmon with garlic mashed potatoes, greens, and green beans, and it was very well done. The salmon was flavorful and cooked right, with a solid BBQ glaze that didn’t overpower the fish. The garlic mashed potatoes were smooth and comforting, and the greens and green beans were properly seasoned—no shortcuts here. The atmosphere was nice and inviting, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. What really stood out, though, were the bartenders—professional, attentive, and clearly good at what they do. Drinks were on point and service felt effortless. Good food, a strong vibe, and excellent bartenders make Lost and Found a place worth revisiting.
We had a wonderful experience, thanks to the great service from TJ! From start to finish, everything was fantastic. We tried the sweet potato pancakes, shrimp and grits, and the fried wings. Every dish was full of flavor. The wings were perfectly crispy, and the grits were creamy and savory. Excellent food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back!
Visited Lost & Found in Houston for the first time, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The hostess, Tyrese, was very welcoming and gave us several seating options based on our preference, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere was great, vibrant, comfortable, and inviting. Our server, Jason, was outstanding. He gave excellent recommendations for the pasta, dip, and drinks, and was attentive without being overbearing. His service truly elevated our experience. The manager, Courtney, was also wonderful and made sure everything was running smoothly. Traveling all the way from Washington, DC, we thoroughly enjoyed everything about Lost & Found. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!
Lost & Found delivered a solid meal. Trez made the experience great. The food came out hot and well-seasoned, with the lemon pepper chicken standing out as a favorite. Upgrading to the mac and cheese was the right call—creamy, flavorful, and worth it. And with 50-cent wings on the menu, it was impossible to pass them up. A great mix of good flavors, value, and atmosphere that makes it a spot I’d definitely come back to.
We enjoyed this place from start to finish. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and delicious food. Food came out quick after ordering. Mike was our waiter and he was very friendly and attentive. We had the fully loaded Cajun pasta, wings, fried ribs, shrimp & crawfish dip, Mac & Cheese and Classic Cheeseburger. All the food was delicious. I had a lemon drop martini and my husband has a purple haze, both great drinks!! My son was asking if we can go back that’s how much he enjoyed it. 10/10 highly recommended.
We each had the cajun pasta. The server came to our table after we finished eating and asked how the food was. I told him, it was over seasoned and he replied, it is called, CAJUN pasta, stressing CAJUN. I advised him,I've had cajun dishes from many places and it's never that heavy on the seasoning like this was. I also had the shrimp and crawfish queso dip as an appetizer, which was more enjoyable than the pasta. Topping off my order, I had a Golden Cadillac to drink, which I liked. Finally, they automatically include the tip they've selected in the total bill, which I find tacky. I've been before and enjoyed previous visits more. Overall, I say,try it for yourself.
This place has a fun vibe and really great southern/soul style food. I loved the bbq grilled salmon. We came in on a Thursday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. Service was friendly. Hookah is available for patrons on the patio. We didn’t love the “pay to park” situation or the automatic gratuity, but I understand these business decisions are made for a reason.
Food was good, we had a great time. Server had a little tude but we kinda ignored it and kept on having a good time. Lol. Atmosphere was nice once inside. They have an inside and outside area for dining. It was about a 45 minute wait for a table. We went around 7pm on a Saturday so take that into consideration. Everything went downhill when we were leaving and multiple cars including mine and my friend's car got broken into. This happened to be on my birthday and ruined the night. So just be careful parking and dont trust valet.... they steal too here!! Because I'm honest.. I did not take away points for my car situation and only rated them on the restaurant itself.
The food was really good! The sweet potato pancakes with 4 chicken wings were marvelous. They had a good deal with the shots as well! Only reason I gave a 4 star is because the valet parking was kind of rude. He kinda shrugged us off after we told him we didn’t revive a message to pick up the car. Overall , the restaurants and waitresses were very nice.
After being irritated with Peachez, my party and I went to Lost N Found instead for their Saturday brunch. A totally different experience than Peachez (Thank God). The parking attendant was so excited to do his job and set the tone. There was hardly no wait so our party of 6 was seated almost right away. Almost everything we tried was pretty good especially the Lemon Pepper Chicken Thighs and Wings. The corn is underrated but was my favorite! The fully loaded pasta was also superb. The only complaint was the lack of real or even durable silverware. The plasticware given wasn’t durable and made it difficult to eat the Pasta. God forbid if steak was an option. They were also out of the Boba pearls for the drink we really wanted. Our waitress, Bre, was a sweetheart and kept us informed. We will be back!!!
Lost and found is a decent place to eat at. I have heard about through social media and I believe that there was alittle too much hype for the restaurant. The burger was adry, wings was actually really good and crunchy, pasta was creamy and savory, mash potatoes was flavorful but the mac and cheese was disappointing because it seems as if the sauce for the pasta was reused for the mac and cheese almost. I feel also that a 20% service charge already is seemed forced as it should really be up to the people paying the bill if service was outstanding or not. Price overall is alittle overpriced for what is being served. The decorations was interesting but the seats seem to be falling apart or breaking. The parking is LOST to stay the least as the only choice is either valeting or trying to find street parking. I would come back if I was in the area but I would not go out of my way to come here. As this is just my opinion, lmk what everyone else thinks!
Lost & Found could have easily received maybe 4 or 5 stars on this review, but customer service is always important We made reservations in advance, paid $250 fee for said reservation only to be told out Larry had to sit outside when it was cold as hell. While this may not seem like a big deal to some on the surface, we were under the impression that our table/area would have been ready in advance. No advance communication All in all, the food was delicious. I had the fried salmon with collard greens and Mac & cheese.
Food was fire. Absolutely delish. Greens, fire. Chicken, fire. Shrimp and grits, fiiiiire. So dang good. Our server was good too. He seemed to genuinely care about folks and serving them well. But the whole vibe before was weird, though. When we pulled up to park, every street surrounding the place was lined with glass shards on both sides, as though to foreshadow that there’s no safe parking other than the valet. So we valet for $20. Easy decision. Then I watched a guy pull up right after me in a bright blue convertible corvette and the valet tried to charge him $40 or $60 or something more than I was charged, so the man laughed in their face and drove off. Then when explaining to the host that I had a reservation, he seemed reluctant to seat me. He seemed to prefer telling people it was a really long wait and pointing them to the seating area or watching them leave. Just the whole vibe was gross and weird. Food was absolutely fiiiiire, and I think that plus the “being seen at a cool spot” is what keeps this place doing so well. I’d consider trying it again because of the food.
Really don't understand the high prices versus the quality. First off, valet only $10 regular $20 VIP to park your car in the 2-row parking lot. Went there for brunch, and ordered orange juice and coffee when we sat down. 25 minutes later, informed that the coffee was still brewing, and they had no orange juice. So ordered another coffee and asked for almond milk. No milk alternatives, so asked for sugar. One coffee came out and had to tell them to bring the 2nd one and sugar. Sugar came out and no spoons so had to ask for that. Ordered the jerk lamb chops. They were the most expensive thing on the menu at $57. Have no idea why they are priced so high. Came out with no marinade or seasoning and nothing "jerk" about it. Overdone cooked well, and had a side of straight Worcestershire sauce from the bottle. Collard greens were good. Charged $3 to sub potatoes instead of eggs. Boyfriend got a breakfast sandwich, which he said was good, and it came with fries out of a bag. Who puts fries with brunch? Anyway, this restaurant is poorly run and way overpriced. Really a disappointment. Bill was $110 for 2 people. Won't be back and do not recommend.
Worst food experience in Houston... 1. They add 20% mandatory service fee to the bill. This is nowhere mentioned, not at their menus but their website. Service fee IS NOT tip. You are asked to pay tip after paying the bill. 2. They have a private parking but it is not free. They asked us for 40USD for parking. There are signs around the place that warn you of the neighbourhood and they your cat is not safe on the streets. 3. Until 5.00pm, they only serve brunch... This is nuts. The full menu is available after 5pm... This is not mentioned anywhere. 4. I went there for the lobster, and at 1.30pm, they told me they were out of lobster... And also out of waffles... 5. Drinks were terrible and overpriced. 6. They brought us plastic fork and knife to eat the pasta... Absolutely ridiculous. 7. They served Margarita in a short water glass. 8. They asked us to leave the table after one hour and a half, because they said they had other reservations. This is something they should have told us before we sit. We were there to watch the game, and they wanted us to leave in the middle of the game... We finally sat at the bar for the rest of the game, and we noticed that there were empty tables the whole time we were there... There was really no reason to take the table from us. 9. They don't accept Amex payments, not some pay etc etc... Don't know why... 10. Food was BAD. And expensive. Don't go there. Worst place ever.
Our bartender did not show us the receipt and said it was $100 for us to tap. This 100 dollars apparently already includes the 20% service for brunch and we didn’t know since there was no receipt was shown! I still paid 15% tip so eventually it was 30 dollars on 75 dollars food. Great deal! Even the food was great, this is robbery 🙂 Btw, we LOST our chance to try that looking-so-good cajun pasta and we FOUND such a famous restaurant is lacking of management to allow things like this happen.
Oh, how the might have fallen! This place used to be our favorite go-to for grrat food & immaculate vibes. Now it'd take a miracle for us to ever return again. Top 4 reasons why we are now saying "goodbye": #1. No more tap-to-pay or AMEX. Their best solution to the problem of scammers & chargeback disputes is to inconvenience the rest of us well meaning customers. Zero modern payment methods, so remember to bring cash or a debit/card. Lost & Found is stuck in 2002. If you can't afford to operate a business, then don't 🫠. #2. Staff (and the manager) all have a "What the hell do you want!?" energy for any question or request. They couldn't care LESS (but are happy to charge MORE.) #3. Food was just okay. Definitely not worth the price. Dishes came out quickly but lukewarm - like it's been sitting under a heat lamp all day. You'll be able to tell if you decide to eat here. That special "texture" dishes once had even just a few months ago is long gone. Microwaves are running the show now. #4. The atmosphere is gone & vibes are off. It feels like they know the writing is on the wall (along with the heavy wear & tear). From the air ducts to faded paint and non-working neon light fixtures... Nothing feels fresh, clean or inspired, even though they're still charging like it is. It's the end of an era. Greatness comes & goes but the true greats know how to inspire better energy from staff & customers alike. I truly hope they find a way to get back that special something they had going last year because without it, we'll be getting an announcement about L&F's doors closing within a few months, which sucks 😞. UPDATE: We just looked at the check and realized they overcharged us for 2 extra orders of wings. Insane, lol.
