Today is grand opening. The atmosphere and the service were amazing. The restaurant build 100% new so that's so clean and nice. The lady makes sure everything was okay when the food came out and checked on us. I tried “steamed rice roll”, maybe that's a signature dish there, MUST TRY also, there is Sugar cane fresh “ Banh Mi” buy 10 bonus 1 I will come back next time to try another dish I highly recommend this location.

Stepping into Nguyen Kitchen, we were immediately struck by the freshness and flavor of every dish. The menu was a celebration of authentic Vietnamese cuisine, with each dish showcasing the perfect balance of spices and textures. Despite our attempts to capture the meal in photos, they simply don’t do justice to the vibrant flavors and colors we experienced. The service was remarkably quick and friendly, adding to the overall exceptional dining experience. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are outstanding, making this restaurant a true gem. For anyone looking for genuine Vietnamese flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. Our visit was memorable, and I can tell you this is definitely the best Viet restaurant in Houston.

Fantastic atmosphere about 20 different tables can hold probably somewhere close around 60 to 80 people service. Made an order of 3 XL pho, pork Banh mi, 4 egg rolls, rice and grilled chicken, spicy beef noodle (large) and vermicelli combination over the phone at 8:30pm, and was able to pick up the food about 20-25 minutes later fast service. Love the Vietnamese music playing in the background. Also there are 3 large screen TVs hanging on the wall. Friendly service. Smiling faces. The food was delicious! The Banh mi bread was crunchy on the outside yet soft in the middle. The pho had that deep flavor. I highly recommend.

Egg rolls, spring rolls, and grilled pork roll comes with nuoc mam, peanut sauce, and egg sauce respectively. Bun thit nuong is ok Banh cuon, very little meat, 98% noodle. Beef pho too flavorful, cannot add in condiments. Service is very good.

Had the vermicelli with grilled chicken/Bun Ga Nuong and also grilled pork sausage rolls/Nem Nuong. Vermicelli is excellent. The rolls are enchanting. The free tea is refreshing. Such great atmosphere, service and food at one location. A hidden gem.

Look forward to coming back, the Bahn Cuon were super meaty. In the kinda way you would want it to be. The nuoc mam Cham was sweet, acidic, very refreshing. My wife had the pho which she loved, the only thing I think was worth mentioning is that they didn't ask me what size and just put in extra large pho for us...

Went here for the first time since the grand opening 05/01 I was greeted by a kind gentleman. He helped me get my Togo order in. In less than 10 mins my order was ready. One of the staff handed me and my mom a delicious cold tea while we waited. Free of charge! I understand this won't happen every time I'm sure. But they are trying to do everything to give you great customer experience. I came home and enjoyed this great pho soup. Below you'll find a photo of it. Great service, atmosphere, and friendly staff too. I Can sense it's family owned. Definitely will come back here for more Pho!

The Pho and Bún bò Huế taste good. And loaded with meat. I think the fried egg rolls has too much carrots, seems thats all i tasted, 3 fried rolls should match the price

I had to go to the front to ask for a box for spring rolls and a container for my Pho. Other than the service being subpar. The food was decent in the place was clean

The ambiance here is quite nice. It is located in a cool plaza with a few other shops and restaurants as well. The food was okay. The service was okay as well, but could’ve been a bit more attentive.

Honestly it’s like a 3.5. The pho broth was decent but it came with like 4 pieces of small meat for the chicken and the beef. The banh cuon was expensive and barely any stuffing. The messed up order while we were there . Overall the food is ok but just a lot of things off.

a big disappointment. It was better in the past. The grilled pork has become like plastic pork jerky: chewy, tasteless. The slices are too thin and perhaps too dehydrated. They can improve this. The banh cuon used to be good, but something seems amiss this time. The taste of black fungus and black pepper aren't strong.

I wasn't going to make a deal of it, but they still expected me to pay at a discount. Hate for it to get to this point, but my stomach is turning and considering a visit to an urgent care. UPDATE**** What makes it worse is their copied & pasted response to this on here. Rehearsed. If they cared to make it better, the owner would have returned my call. They should truly be embarrassed for the way they handled this situation.

Coming again for sure to try their new food next week and new drinks also !! Give them a try !! 👏🏼🤍 & please don’t take advantage of them they’re very nice people! Update : Came again because it was their grand opening we came around 7:05 got seated around 7:10 we got our drink ( after our drink they never came to check if we were ready ) we order our appetizers btw we never got our appetizers.. A small 4-5 family came in and got their food very quickly while me and my girlfriend were still waiting for our appetizers it has been 20 minutes since I never had to wait that long for a appetizers. I was trying to give them another 5 mins but it was taking them way to long.

Friday night 12/5/24, I ordered the Spring Rolls / Goi Cuon Tom Thit; Beef Noodle Soup / Pho Bo (Rare Steak, Tai, / Tai, Meatballs / Bo Vien, Brisket. I noticed the spring rolls had an odd smell and taste. Then, I heated the pho soup as I always do. The rare steak did not cook as normal and tasted funny. I continued to mix the noodles because they were not dissolving in the hot water as normal and kept sticking together. I noticed the unimaginable: a black hair tangled in the rare steak. OMG, I threw it up and contacted the business. They apologized and asked me to bring a picture of the hair. It was 8:40 pm, and business closed at 9 p.m. I walked into their establishment at approximately 8:50 to show a picture of the hair & bring the food back with the hair. At first, they said it would be 3 minutes for another pho. I said thank you. I no longer have an appetite; please process a refund. The young girl gave me $11.25 in cash and apologized. I politely said you forgot the tax. She gave me the difference, and I didn't bother to ask for a refund for the spring rolls. I guess the food was cooked in 2 different kitchens, and they didn't feel it necessary to process a full refund. Whether the hair was in 1 food item and not caught in the other, should it not be a courtesy to refund the entire order? Sadly, I will not be returning to the restaurant, and I hope they double their efforts to make sure no one has to experience the distasteful and lack of unprofessionalism.

I was craving spring rolls and stopped here…I noticed that there were several options of food in this strip center and I thought why not? Overall the service was okay, they greeted me and all that but it kinda felt like they were preoccupied—-the energy was off. I ordered my spring rolls anyway because lol I’m taking my food to go right??? The prices were okay I guess, however after I tasted my food it was as if the meat was cut in half…skimpy portions and the taste was not tasty or delicious. I only had the spring rolls so I can’t say anything about the other menu options. Overall the reviews don’t match the food you actually receive.
