Texadelphia is known for its cheesesteaks, especially the Founder's Favorite, and queso waffle fries. Amy at the bar is a customer favorite. Some customers have noted inconsistent quality and closed locations, but this location is still worth a visit.

Opinions de Texadelphia Houston
All these years i lived in Houston, never ate here. Well i decided to check out this location on Bunker hill and very happy i did! The bartender, Amy, my neighbor, is the BEST!! Go check her out at the bar! The food is very tasty! I tried tbe Founders Philly and happy i did! The right amount of all ingredients! It is a great choice! The drink was on point and great seats to watch the game from every angle! Outdoor seating as well! And don't forget to check out the music entertainment! The guy tonight was great! Great atmosphere, delicious food and the Best staff!!! 💯👍😊
This is a great addition to the area and so happy to have a Texadelphia to unwind at after a shopping trip. The patio is perfect for the kids to run and play, the food was delicious as usual and the HH drinks were perfect! The server was good and the facilities were clean and everything was very spacious and spaced out- we also got a free queso by downloading the app! Win win!
Thank you to my server Amy for a pleasant first time experience at Texadelphia memorial. I ordered the Queso waffle fríes as an appetizer and let me tell you it's delicious. The Founders favorite is delicious. The roll is very soft and the mustard blend sauce is amazing compliment to the Philly Cheesesteak. I look forward to my next visit 😊
Customer service and food was excellent. Drove 3 hours to eat here. Love Texadelphia!
Absolutely amazing food here. The waffle fries and queso were mouthwatering to the point that I almost had another order of this instead of the Texican cheesesteak.
Great philly, not a good portion on onion rings but that’s almost every restaurant
Food was super delicious!!! I went for lunch but I will be going back.

Service: I came in during a lunch rush and it was kind of busy but I was seated right away. My server was prompt, polite, and ordered accurately. It was also a relief to see he was using a notepad to jot down my order. It didn't take long at all to get my drink and food which was delivered by a different server; it's great to see teamwork. A busser came by shortly after I was finished. Overall it was a fast and streamline process from entry to exit. Food: As a Philadelphia area native I am definitely biased. This cheese steak does not compare but overall wasn't horrible; it was just more Texas than Philadelphia. Admittedly, it was a little on the bland side. However, the waffle fries were outstanding, crispy, not to greasy, and full of flavor. Facility: The inside is very welcoming and comfortable. The decor reminds me of a Philly bar. There are tables for outdoor seating and a large window with natural light and view to the outside seating area. Thank you for an enjoyable meal and experience. I will definitely be back to explore the cocktails and bar food!
Not sure why but a few of their other locations have closed. Well worth driving out to this location in the Memorial area... Bunker Hill/Blalock @I-10. The food was as I remember it (from the closed Montrose & Katy locations), consistent and pretty good. The amount of beef was generous albeit a little on the salty side and the onion rings were as good as I've had in a while. The service was quick and Marcel did a great, attentive job. I wouldn't mind stopping in again if I was in the area.
After 1 of my fantasy football league members suggested we go 2 Texadelphia 2 watch the NFL Draft. I told him that would be great but all Texadelphia locations closed permanently years ago. He then sent me a link 2 the Memorial location, showing me it was still opened. I haven't had a Texadelphia steak sandwich in years. Now 4 what u've been waiting 4 " The Review. " OK. Here we go. I ordered a lg ( 10 in ) orign cheese steak w/ onion rings ( $ 1.50 extra ) served w/ a side of their homemade ranch. It was well worth it. When my sandwich finally came, I was a little disappointed the sandwich. It was served 2 me room temp @ best while the onion rings were hot. I should have sent it back, but I was hungry. So I proceeded 2 eat it. The bread was warm & soft. The steak itself could have used a little more seasoning. The onion rings were very good & tasty 😋 especially w/ their homemade ranch. I'm not a ranch ( dressing ) fan, but I was last night. I dipped my onion rings into their homemade ranch dressing not knowing @ 1st what it was until I went back & looked @ the menu. You ask me would I come here again ? YES !!!! PS : If I get another room temp sandwich, I will send it back
Texadelphia is a great chain restaurant option for some classic and creative cheesesteaks. This is your melted cheese version, not the cheese wiz kind. The meat was tasty, cheesy and tender. I felt the bread could be toasted a little bit more but the bread itself was good. I had no complaints at all. It was not the best I have ever had, but I don’t think that is what you come here for. Come here for a great meal at a great price. Also kids eat free some days! Thursday’s I believe.
We ordered take out. The Founders Favorite is my favorite. So yummy. The mushrooms and jalapeños are delicious! I get mine with no onions.., I know, what’s a philly without onions, but I am not a fan of onions. The waffle fries are good. Don’t forget your extra mustard blend! Its a topper for all my Texadelphia food. Oh, so good!
Katy location…closed. Montrose location…closed. What location is left in Houston? The one near Memorial City Mall. It looked like Texadelphia was making a comeback in Houston, after being away for many years. The comeback looks like a short one. New locations closing and only one left in Houston. It shouldn’t be a problem for a business to remain open if it has a good product. So what’s wrong? I’ve been to the Memorial location twice, and being seated at a table by a host was difficult. Lots of employees, or should I say servers, and it shouldn’t be difficult to be seated. On my first visit, the bartender sat me at a table. No server came to my table after 5 minutes. So I went and sat at the bar and ordered. On my second visit, there were more servers than actual customers. One weird thing that I noticed was the man behind the bar(not sure if it was the bartender)was having to call a server to take the order of a customer at the bar. The same man had to call the server when the man wanted his check. One thing I noticed with Texadelphias is it seems to be really big and it doesn’t need to be. Is it a bar or is it a sandwich shop? I know it as a sandwich place. When the Montrose location was open, customers would walk up to a counter, order, take a number, and then take a seat. Someone will bring you the food you ordered. Simple enough. Memorial location as well as the closed Katy location, it is different. Not really sure why places have different procedures. I’ve always liked the cheesesteaks from Texadelphia. It’s no different here. Consistency is the same. Chips that are served with the cheesesteaks are light and tasty. Get a side of queso to dip your chips. I’m afraid this location will eventually close and it isn’t because of a lack of a good sandwich. You know the old saying, location, location, location? The address of this place is on Katy Freeway, but the business faces Gaylord, which is the back side of the building. How much are they paying per square foot on this place? I’ll definitely be back, hoping it hasn’t closed permanently.

I went here with a couple of friends and it ended up being pretty good. The queso was definitely my favorite. I also really, really loved the onion rings. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the French dip. The meat was a little dry and the cheese wasn't melted at all. Plus the au jus just tasted like beef broth. But if my friends want to come back here I'll definitely join them. Also, the waitress was great!

Just your average bar and sandwich place. Good place to hang out grab a drink but if you are not drinking then just don't eat there. I would not recommend coming here if you are Asian there is nobody here that he would like sandwiches that have tried banh mi
I use to love this place but we went yesterday and I was disappointed. I will start by saying the chips and queso were really good!! Beyond that not so great. The fried chicken wrap was sitting in a puddle of grease, my Philly had no onions, they said the onions were on it, (unless they are so finely chopped that you can’t see them) 🤷🏼♀️ and I had to send my sons kid’s burger back because it was super red inside, thank goodness I cut it in half first.

DISGUSTING!!!! I ordered a french dip sandwich and onion rings through door dash. As you can see, my onion rings are burnt and stuck together or broken in pieces. The steak was extremely salty and had a funny smell. Like it was old and sour. After a few bites, I got nauseous and just threw it all away. The bread was good though. The other two sandwiches had the same salty, stinky meat on them. One of the sandwiches had the wrapper melted to the sandwich. I will NEVER return to this disgusting place. Overpriced food poisoning.
Triple digits outside, AC blasting, and the front door wide open. Glad the we don't have a climate crisis or an electricity grid that's barely able to handle demand Food was okay but I didn't get what I ordered.

The highly anticipated opening of the Garden Oaks location was very disappointing. The food quality has gone downhill. The cheesesteaks are tasteless, flavorless and way overpriced. As a dedicated customer of your Austin location for many years the restaurant isn’t the same. I wish you every success.
