First time here and I loved it. Atmosphere was awesome. Love the decor and small sports bar vibe. I had the chicken ceasar but it wasn't your traditional ceasar... very light it was great. The highlight was this margarita... I overheard a server describe it to another customer... I was like ooh that sounds good. And it was... I believe its call the big Larry. Lol.

I recommend the buttermilk pie w/ fresh homemade whip cream and carmel. The food of course; everything on the menu was too tier! Chef kiss to everything. Ask for Shey; hospitality was too tier and her energy was unmatched.

Hands down a fantastic restaurant. We were a party of 6 and my family ain't no cup of tea. And our waiter Elijah was phenomenal very good at his job, stayed on top of things, and kept a smile. The food was great. Ask for him. We will go back again. Oh and try the pecan shake with a shot of pecan whiskey it was my dessert and the best ending to a out of this world meal. Ask about the free sampler plate it helps you decide how hot u can handle.Great job Tumble22.

Let me start off by saying this is our first time and as soon as we entered the building the vibe was very nice. The atmosphere was calm and friendly. Once seated our waiter ELIJAH was so helpful, knowledgeable and gave us great customer service. He was very polite and pleasant. Thank you ☺️ We definitely took some time to decide what we wanted. Food was really good and not over seasoned. Our overall experience was 10 and we’ll definitely be back.

Elijah was out server and he was very helpful and polite. He took the time to answer our questions and was patient. What I love about this place, if you're 1st time coming, they give you a complimentary sample platter...I mean, who does that?!?! Very cool. The chicken was extra juicy and comes out fresh and hot. Service by Maria was great! This place achieves truly local, Houston, Texas character with historical photos and flare. The food is good, down home country cookin! My fav is the Heavenly Eggs, but I wouldn't turn down the collard greens, mac n cheese, coleslaw, or any of the sides. Chicken is super great without trying to be "hot chicken"... although it can get pretty dang hot! Take home a pie! Great music playing, grown up and adult, but perfectly kid friendly. Not even a hint of lewdness, which is rare these days. You won't feel like you're talking your family to a strip joint or a head shop.

Omg why know one told me about this restaurant. Today me and my family had the opportunity to dine at Tumble 22 over on Texas Ave. Street in Houston Texas. We had Makayla has our sever and she did an amazing job. We told her that this was our first time visiting and we recommend some many great opinions. The manger even came over to greet us. The atmosphere was well welcome and looking to come back in days to come. Oh yeah asked them if you dine in what’s the special for the month. best chicken sandwich in houston!!!! We ordered the southern sandwich with lettuce tomato and cheese with fries…..simple but tasty….well cooked, crispy , good bun and fresh fries….head to head with chicken sandwich from tookie’s (kemah). Clean place , excellent service!!!!

We were greeted & seated by Makayla, who turned out to be our wonderful server. We started off with the delicious dirty fries. We were talking about the sides, as it was our first time here, and she magically appeared with a first timers sampler with the said sides. Answered all of our questions, we were going to have. The Mac & cheese, broccoli salad, ranch beans & coleslaw were our favorite. The staff is very active, and we love to see it. The food is definitely fresh and worth the wait!! When we arrived we got to sit immediately. It was a little bit before the waiter or staff got to the table but not too long. Staff was friendly and since it was our first time they got us a little free sampler to help us choose what we wanted for our dinner. Very informative and definitely coming again for more. First visit to Tumble 22, however we will be back. First the dinged star... the food was great tasting, however given the amount of time that it took for 2x 8counts, fries, mac&cheese and slaw to come out of the kitchen... you would expect the chicken to be temperature HOT, but it was simply warm. Great flavor, just not hot. The mac&cheese was hotter than the chicken. We were too hungry to bother sending it back tho. The Comeback sauce is great! The Ranch is a little on the mayo flavor side. The sides... mac&cheese, fries, cole slaw and beans were great. Friendly staff that takes good care of you! Like I said, we will be back, but the food temp needs to be hotter. Next time around, we will give the devilled eggs a shot.
