Hands down the best KFC I've ever had. New secret recipe French fries are the best.

People standing on line was still wearing masks, but for the first time since the pandemic started you could actually sit and eat. The tables were not roped off. The food was excellent as always oh, they were little busy so it took a little bit before the food was ready but it was worth it. Location I went to on Crossbay Boulevard in Howard Beach is always one of the cleanest locations for this restaurant.

Wow, this place in Howard Beach is just amazing! I've never had a bad meal here, and it's in such a great neighborhood. The food is top-notch, seriously. Have you tried their pot pies? They're out of this world! But my absolute favorite has to be their chicken sandwiches. I mean, how do they make them taste so good? I find myself coming here all the time just for one of those sandwiches and some fries. The staff is super friendly too; they even know me now because I'm here so often! And let's talk about the wait times. I don't know what those other reviews are going on about because I usually get my sandwich in under a minute. And I've seen them make it in the back; they're really quick and do an awesome job. It's just great service all around.

I went to KFC twice over 3 days, and it was amazing. I hadn't gone to a KFC in over several years, and this first visit to this KFC made me like KFC again. The staff are so nice and accommodating, as well as everything is made fresh. The chicken and french fries do not sit all day waiting for someone to order, and the Extra Crispy chicken is Extra Crispy for sure! 10/10 recommend, and if you are looking for a good KFC, try this one!

To be honest, I prefer KFC over Popeyes. I grew up with KFC before Popeyes was even a big deal, so it's more nostalgia for me. Ever since I was 5. It's been KFC. and it's the same for me as an adult. I been to this location multiple times now and the chicken is always delicious. The fris and Mac and cheese are great. No complaints. Definitely one of my fave dinner spots. The 3 piece meal here is only about $8 compared to the KFC near my job in the city on 14th street. The 3 piece meal there is like $10.

We ordered our food ate half got all the way home & the box fell from the car & out roll 2 large pieces of chicken to the floor....😳😳😳 I wanted to cry & pick them up. But my husband quickly scooped them up rolled them in papper for the garbage!!

Food is good but all of the individuals behind counter where wearing their masks on their chins - not sure if nose coverage is still required but pointing it out. A senior asked for discount and they said they don’t do that anymore.

I don't remember liking KFC, but I had a hankering for fried chicken so I thought I'd bring home their $20 meal deal for dinner. 8 pc extra crispy, swap out 1 mashed for corn and ditch the 2 wings for an upgrade of like a dollar thirty each to breasts. Go home, take a swim in the ocean and return for a warm, cooked full meal. Breasts were meaty and tender. Wow. I deserved a break today.

Clean and efficient KFC in Howard Beach. Had one of the $5 fill up boxes for lunch and was able to substitute the mashed potatoes side for something else. I like the corn and was happy to be able to do this. So.e KGC's wont allow any substitutions. Overall a decent meal with no issues. Even has a small parking lot which is rare in Howard Beach.

First visit to this location since pre Covid. Place seems to be clean. Food was just ok. The service could have used some more training. Seemingly a little slow and disorganized so much so that at least three orders were not correct including mines. The workers behind the counter seem unaware as to how to correct the mistakes at cash register and the manager didn't know either. Overall their attitude was still pleasant. I would recommend but expect that the former days of the good ole KFC is gone.😁

The food is always good but the wait time is ridiculous. They are always crowded and never have enough people working. Plus it's difficult to communicate with the cashier because they don't speak English.

My order was a three-piece takeout meal. My order was for the original recipe and was told there was a 3-minute wait. The chicken was ready in about 5 minutes. There were people who were waiting 20 minutes for their original recipe prior to me arriving. Not sure how a fast food place can have run out of their main dish. This is not only this one KFC but it has happened with others as well.

Food was good, the staff were pleasant and I did not wait long in line. I wish they had more seating. I chose the 2 piece with one side grilled chicken for $5. It was delicious but the pieces were tiny.

This KFC beats out the other KFC’s that are in queens! I don’t understand how awesome this spot is, in comparison to how other should be ran. The prices here are cheaper, believe it or not. The KFC by union turnpike forgets to give you biscuits included in your meal; including the sauces that they are suppose to give you with your meal. They should learn from this spot! Fresh coleslaw, and the chicken isn’t chewy! I’d rather drive here, than to go to the closest one, which is on union turnpike. I give this spot five stars, and they deserve it.

The famous bowl was messy and looked disgusting compared to some of the other kfcs I have been at. The workers were curt and the food came at a reasonable speed too bad that bowl made me sick.

Three times I have gone here since moving back to Howard Beach/Ozone Park area. All 3 times I wait over 20 minutes for the same meal - Famous bowl, fries, and a soda. It simply should not take this long. On top of that. The girls working the counter are just not very comfortable with communicating in the English language. My advice: Stay away if you are looking for a fast little lunch. Go down the block to Popeyes or Burger King. This place is a disaster. My last time going here for sure. (PS- STILL WAITING even after typing this) Tine to get my food totaled 34 mimutes. Lunch break over. Im late.

They clearly must want to get their customers sick. Ordered a drink there with my meal and i had to cut through the nasty parts of my food in order to not feel like I would get sick. Even the drink tasted as if someone put a musty pair of sock in the drink or something. I won’t be returning there again just like every other fast food place that I feel is incompetent.

I'm not sure if everyone that works there is deaf or just choose not to listen but more than half the time I've got food there, they mixed up a simple order. My dad was so fed up he actually felt the need to drive back to this location and have them fix the order otherwise the food would have been thrown out along with our money.

The cashier was very polite. The food server was rude. I asked her for extra sauce, She replied, " i gave you an extra sandwich." I told her no, there is no extra sandwich. When I got the sauce, she gave me the wrong one. She was really rude. Nevertheless going to that kfc again.

The fries tasted like they were fried in old oil and they were semi warm when we got to the car from picking it up at restaurant. The chicken wrap was nasty! Chicken was already cooled down and the tortilla wrap was not heated through correctly. It will be a loooong time before I try anything from this place.

Always ordered on the app because the service here is very bad, on a typical afternoon you have to wait about 40 minutes for your food because the restaurant gets very overwhelming. The sandwich’s are really good.

UI don’t know if I’d recommend this KFC. The employees behind the counter were on their phones, complaining about other workers not showing up, and overall came off as rude and unprofessional. They also don’t seem to listen the first time you have to repeat yourself, and when you do, they’ll either ignore you or respond rudely with “I heard you the first time,” only to still get your order wrong because they clearly weren’t paying attention. The wait time is just as frustrating. Even if you place a mobile order, you’ll be waiting. I’d suggest ordering at least 25 minutes before you arrive, because the food won’t be ready when the app says it is. On the bright side, the food does come out fresh probably because by the time they finally make your order, they’ve run out of whatever was sitting out before. So yes, the food is fresh, but the service is unprofessional, rude, and slow.

Food is standard KFC taste. Service is SLOW. I cant imagine this place having a drive through, the car line would back up to Queens Center Mall. This KFC needs more workers, I saw two ladies taking care of the cashier and the other lady preparing orders, there was a cook in the back. The line of people waiting was quite high, I waited on my order for 20 minutes. I may not have worked at any fast food restaurants but is it time to remove fast food from fast food? I mean the chicken is cooked, the side dishes are cooked, you just pack everything into a tray or a to go bag. Corporate needs to step in and retrain or get more employees at the frontline. Too many people were complaining about the long waits. Another thing this place needs a refresh, seems like it’s from the 1980s. Seats are strange and very uncomfortable.

The guy at the register was very kind and did a great job at taking our order. However the workers putting the order together did a horrible job. i ordered a large fries and received it only half filled. they also didn’t put any sauces or napkins in the bag . Very disappointed with how my food was packaged .

The only reason they get 1 star is the fact the ladies were kind. But they forget your order. I also got charged twice for a meal. Got a refund for the extra amount. Then complete everyones order while you stand there watching. And it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I went there today to get some HONEY BBQ wings but those people who was working there could not understand or speak English and when I asked for someone they got like their aunt who hired them there, and she said they can't do HONEY BBQ wings but only spicy then the muy Gordo Chica wanted to charged me $34 for 24 wings which clearly states 23.99, so I asked her why the price hike and she was like they only do hot wings and I told her yes I see that as statement on your menu posted but still that Chica didn't get it so i walked out and confuse if these Mexicans make their own menu as per a corporation to suit themselves .

If I could give no star I would’ve done it, worst customer service, people has to wait for over 30 minutes just to get a simple meal, customers waiting on line and can’t even greet them, the person taking the order (Aron) has a nasty attitude, definitely not looking forward on coming back to this location... Customers that come to buy food have to park in the street since the parking lot is full of cars that are not even in the store...

Manager in the evening shift of 05/25 had a full break down in-front of customers. She was threatening and cursing the customers that were complaint because they were waiting over 1/2 hour for their order.

Site needs to streamline ordering. One register is taking walk in orders and processing online orders at the same time. No one is helping expedite to the kitchen, so the order doesn't even get started until after you have waited on a long line.

Ordered online to be delivered. The chicken was horrible n small baby pieces and dry. The honey bbq wings barely had any sauce poured on it. It was just like fried wings. For over 50 bucks I wished I had ordered popeyes instead.

Restrooms closed, staff said they are broken. Girl packed my food and dropped the bag before I could grab it. Very rude. I had a thigh that was all skin and a small piece of meat, musta been pigeon instead of chicken. It was horrible!

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND RUDE!!! My mom, little sister, an I went and ordered 2 orders of 4 piece tenders and fries and a Conol crispy sandwich. When we got our food, the tenders had hair cooked with it. They had hairnets on it but somehow hair still got in! It wasn’t any of our hair since the color of it was brown and my mom didn’t touch my food nor was even next to me when I looked at the tenders. The tenders and fries were WAY too salty. The sandwich was VERY VERY SOGGY!! They asked us what kind of sauce and we asked for ranch and honey BBQ. WE GOT NO SAUCE! Horrible food. Horrible service. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN! Because of this we aren’t even sure to trust outside fast food restaurants anymore... WASTE OF MONEY! DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING THERE!

Order was not what I placed. Asked for extra crispy, had to wait extra time and then I got home with soggy skinned chicken. Ordered a meal & found no biscuits. Staff was very unprofessional & did not seem to know how to even use the tongs to get a biscuit for the customer ahead of me. No one picked up the phone when I called numerous times to talk to a manager. And these are the people that want to be paid $15.00 an hour and they can’t even work a pair of tongs.

First they were trying to force me to order meal but I wanted just sandwich. Later they charged me more for sandwich than official price on board. When I told them that they can not do things like this, I received stupid explanation that it is mistake on price board and it is their manager's fault. I told them they are cheating. After unpleasant conversation I received part of my money. Their limitations did not allow them to understand it was not about $.50 but it was about not to cheat customers and be honest. So sad...

Worst run KFC in the world ! Honestly is there anyone competent that can run this place ! We have been here many times and it's always S-L-O-W and not orderly and always out of items . Fast food ? No way! be prepared to wait for a long time even if nobody is ahead of you . Today we went in for a bucket and it's like the land of confusion first they were calling out order numbers then switched over calling out what was in the actual order and people were getting the wrong order and just massive confusion. We waited almost 20 minutes for a 12 piece bucket , ridiculous . Avoid this place like the plague won't be back here anytime soon !

Its so sad, I've been a KFC customer for years but this Howard Beach KFC is simple horrible. Yes, it was very bussy, and I was advised that if I ordered chicken tenders it woukd be much faster. I waited over an hour for 6 tender, when my patient had ended, I asked the server about my order. At first, the guy brushed me off and walked away. Then i asked the second server (Fatima) who simply told me i would havr to wait an additional 10 minutes. I simply walked away. I was so angry i decided to simply leave the food and not wait for a refund. This place is a joke. The main issue is that they are more conserned about the ubber and grub hub order first .

The food has no seasoning it doesn’t even taste like KFC chicken.

I placed three online orders, upon arrival, i gave my name and asked for my order. A female employee and a guys with durag on his head were very rude. They say they dont have any order unfer that name. Eventually they found .They gave me my order. Wheni get to my car there were only two orders. I went back in to ask for my third order, the guy with the durag who i think is the manager got very aggressive acting as if I am a fraud or something. He finally found my order. I don't recommend this location. The employees don't know how to act with customer. They all need some training in customer service. Especially the manager (durag guy)

I'm the first customer at the Howard beach place, opened at 10:30am i walked in and asked for the $10 Tuesday special, and still had to wait about 15 minutes, they are open but they are never ready, this is not the first time, and please stop the bs about they are cooking it fresh, if they open at 10:30 it should be ready to go, people getting to work this is not a fast food kfc.

I usually leave positive reviews, but my experience at this location was disturbing. While staying at a nearby motel, I came in and calmly asked about food that was missing from my order. The man behind the counter looked me in the face and called me a racial slur — not under his breath, but directly to me. I reported this incident to corporate, expecting some level of accountability, but I never received a response. That silence only adds to the harm. No customer should ever be spoken to like that. It was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable.
