5/24 7:30pm keeping 4 stars Order taker (male) took order with no name give, no nice greeting, and the "anything else" attitude. As I was ordering it made me hesitant to complete order as there was only one other car in the parking lot. I continued, I'd say I over tipped just hoping they gave me good food and service. Food came out quickly, carhop (female) came out super nice and had great customer service. Hopefully the tip goes to her! My tip for the order taker, have a better greeting - if you hate your job get out of customer service and don't make food (that makes me nervous) also, slow down and politely say "may I get you anything else". Food was good and hot. Only other critique I have is out of the 3 meals and blats we got, we didn't get one single napkin. ___________ Original review 4stars Overall good experience. Food tasted good for the most part. The onion rings were fried too long and were dark brown and hard.
I bought a burger today and the top bread was refrigerator cold. It felt awful. I did add a tip at prepay by the way :(
I really liked this location. This location was smaller then most Sonic locations I have visited, but it had the small country town feel to it. The staff were all very friendly and food was delivered hot and fresh. However I feel the food lacked in quality. The buns were not toasted which made them soft and almost soggy because it had absorbed the grease from the burger patty. Maybe they missed that step on my order. I definitely would stop here again if I was in the area to give them another chance.
The employees are super friendly, but the management needs fixing. It seems like they want to go the cheap way out of things. You pay the same amount for chicken wings like you would at Buffalo Wild Wings, but barley give you a drizzle of sauce. Then if you ask for sauce you pay .50¢ for a cup that had more sauce then the actual chicken had on it. They give you white paper bags instead of their classic logo bags. The meals used to be really great, but with slow service and now it seems to be the opposite. Hopefully they can fix whatever issues they’re experiencing.
Asked for a plain burger they gave me one with everything on it with soggy bread
I think all the additional signage is ridiculous! It's a drive-in do you really need to call ahead to get your food even faster? I'm not going to return to any Sonics it's pathetic.
My first time ordering from here and let me tell you, dude came over that speaker kinda rude. Wish he came out to bring the order. Something you really wouldn't expect from a small town.
I came to Sonic specifically because they advertised the $6 Smash Burger meal. When I got to the window, the employee initially said it would be $6, then stopped mid-sentence and changed it to $11. I was confused but paid anyway. Afterward, I contacted Sonic support and was told the order was not rung up correctly. This is frustrating because I went there for a clearly advertised deal and ended up being overcharged due to employee error. Sonic should make sure employees understand their promotions and honor advertised prices. Very disappointing experience.
You used to have half-price drinks at least during Happy Hour or let us combine half-price drinks with rewards. Now you can’t do either, so what’s the point of having the app? The location I go to constantly messes up our orders and forgets something almost every time. If you’re going to offer poor service, at least offer better deals. There’s no real incentive to choose Sonic over other fast-food places anymore now that you’ve done away with Happy Hour in the app and limited discounts. The food has never been the main draw — the half-price drinks were. Also, please bring back the pickle fries. I used to come a lot more often when you had them. Sonic used to be the go-to when a group wanted food, but lately it’s not even mentioned because there’s just no reason to pick it anymore. Do better or lose more customers.
I wish this place wasn't the only fast food establishment next to my work. The food is terrible and they literally can't get one burger correct...one burger. You whole focus is on assembling a single burger and it's incorrect. Sums up Howe and everything north of it . The quality of anything in this whole area is sub par, to say the least.... trash
I had ordered a chicken wrap, the chicken was raw in the middle. The burger I got smelled terrible. The bun smelled like a cardboard box for some reason. Mozzarella sticks were not cooked in the middle either. Only good thing was the “sundae”. The employees looked like they don’t know what hygiene is…disgusting.
My daughter has an allergy to vinegar, this includes pickles. She ordered a chicken sandwich without the pickles, when it arrived, it did have pickles, mistakes happen, that’s ok. We sent it back to be remade and when it was returned they had just removed the pickles and flipped over the chicken patty. Absolutely negligent and unsafe for anyone who has allergies. You would think they would know better and take better care of their customers.
Almost certain employees are just sitting around when it takes 30 minutes for a single burger with noone else here me and another car simply left. Worst part is I paid on the app and very likely will not be refunded. Unfortunately tipped too. Update: Speaker inside and employees were in fact just sitting around. Howe owners kinda lazy
Tried to order the half price shakes after 7 on the app just now and the app wasn’t working- kept giving a message saying there were technical difficulties. So we had no choice but to pull up and order from the car and they REFUSED to honor the half price shake deal regardless of the fact that it wasn’t our fault the app wasn’t working. We even had an employee come out to the car so that we could show them that the app was faulty- they didn’t care. I assume this is being done purposely so that Sonic can refuse to honor the deal. This used to be our favorite location- going forward we will be visiting any other one except the Howe location. Horrible customer service. So disappointing.
Paid almost $5 for a coffee and it was sour. I kept trying to drink it but it was just gross. Tasted old/expired. I told the lady at the drive thru and told her I was sorry and she told me that “she made it yesterday so it’s not sour” then gave me a hot plain small coffee when i paid $4.32 for a large iced coffee and kept trying to take back the sour one. Just disappointed that I wasted my money.
Just came through the drive thru. They put 5 rotten cherries in my 7 year olds drink. My kids love yall but yall are going to hurt someone if you don't slow down and double check the product. Cherries are black all the way through. Not sure how it got missed but please just double check everything before you use it. Let alone put it in a child's drink.
