This is one of those places you can go to when your taste buds are all over the place lol. Tons of options my videos show a small portion of what they have. Today I experienced two servers be so kind to two kiddos that were crying and made their dinner time calm goood 🙌 job ladies. Happy Family Chinese Buffet pleasantly surprised me. It's now my go-to in the area. The food was mostly fresh, with the egg rolls and egg drop soup as standouts. The self-service hibachi is a must-try, and the staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is decent. A solid choice

I liked this buffet a lot. The staff was super friendly. Our waitress kept our glasses full. The food was hot, fresh and taste good. The host was really sweet he let us know they had just mopped (even though they did use the caution signs.) They have precautions set for covid. My only issue was the bathroom, the stalls didn't feel secure enough (forgot to snap a pic.) I also would like to see a little more variety in the food. But overall I'd go back.

Happy Family Chinese pleasantly surprised me. It’s actually been my go-to twice this past week. I ordered to-go both times and was pretty satisfied with what I received. I liked the thin noodles way better than the lo mein the second time. Overall, I’ve enjoyed what was prepared, and you really can’t beat the price. The food was pretty tasty for the most part. We came at opening expecting the food to be fresh. It was very cold and the flavor was bland for most if not all dishes. All the chicken dishes that appeared crispy were soft and old. The apples had a shrimp thrown inside of them. It seems they aren’t watching food safety standards. Very hard to eat. Here’s updated pricing. I used to love coming here on occasion when I wanted a variety to eat. But after tonight, I won’t be back. It’s my mistake assuming that they charged by the pound for take out. Instead, they charge by the box. This is a box I got, with fruit. Box isn’t anywhere near full or heavy…. I was charged $18 ($17.99) that is ridiculous and steep. This is not a $18 plate of food! I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the most disgusting food, I’ve ever had a buffet. Then our drinks were flat and warm when we got them. Food was okay the service could have been better. The waiter barely came over to ask if we needed any drinks and such. What I couldn't get over was the smell! It smelled like urine and fish, even two waitress were holding their nose and complaining over the smell also I figured they got a complaint because they sprayed air freshener but even that wasn’t enough.

Poor food options, place smells like urine. The chicken is soggy and not good, and the sushi like looks questionable in terms of safety. Horrid atmosphere and you’d be expected to pay $20+ for it. I’m not sure how this place managed to get the higher than 4.0 rating until now, it certainly doesn’t deserve it anymore. Bad part of town, bad food, bad options, bad + smelly atmosphere, and exorbitantly expensive = avoid.

I ordered to go and it was a lot of food which I was happy with because it was worth the price but when I got home and we started eating, the food was not good at all. The Teriyaki chicken had a fish taste to it and the general chicken didn't even look like chicken or tasted like chicken. We pretty much threw everything down the trash. Would not recommend and I'm glad we didn't spend the $18 dollars per person to eat there.

I would have really liked to say something good about this place now but honestly this place went from being one of my favorite places to the worst, not even on the list of going there anymore. I had been going here since 2010 up until this year. I started to notice a decline like maybe 2-3 yrs ago I was told the owner sold the place to another person. Well ever since then it declined. Only this year it’s been the worst. I have gone 2-3 times this year, the first time being there this year there was something in my mom’s cup. They brought her drink with something already inside, so it was dirty and had not been washed properly. We let the waitress know and they changed it. I don’t remember the second time we went, but I still chose to go back, I didnt want to give up on it since I have many memories with my parents there. Well the last time was a couple of weeks ago, and let me tell you it was the worst ever. They brought me dirty silverware and the cup was also dirty. They’re not hygienic at all. And the servers or people don’t care if they did they would address this with their staff and be able to give customers great quality food and service, and clean utensils to use, it’s just nasty.
