Been coming to this spot for over 20 years and we always have an awesome time. Drinks are good and food is tasty and fresh. You can't beat the entertainment especially since the chef's will make the night an experience you will not forget. I will say, this is probably not the best place for children, at least not the back tables. If you have younger kiddos, I recommend staying up front by the sushi bar area or coming early.
What a hidden gem. Although we were waiting in bar area for our table we had reservations for, it was well worth the wait. very entertaining. extremely LOUD inside. drinks were strong and food was great. chef was very generous with birthday shots. our server was on point. it was about 300 bucks for 6 of us.
We pretty much come every week. The sushi chef and owner, Richard, takes great care of you and will figure out what you like, making sure to serve it with premium quality fish and delicious sauces. The music is fun and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, definitely encouraging you to talk and laugh with friends and family while you try delicious rolls and high quality fish.
Pretty fun place right off the water. Staff definitely knows how to make it an eventful and memorable experience. All the food is super flavorful and has a large variety of drinks.
Always a fun and wild place, little more hip than Benihana's with an outgoing atmosphere, excellent food, chef keeps the fun moving and music is definitely playing. If you sit at the sushi bar you get better prices on your sushi. Great service ☆

We came here to celebrate a graduation with a party of 22 people, and from start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely incredible! The staff went above and beyond to make our celebration special. Despite the size of our group, everything ran smoothly—from seating to service. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the teppanyaki chefs were amazing—entertaining, skilled, and full of energy that made the night so much fun. A special shoutout to our waiter Memo, who truly went the extra mile to take care of our entire group. He was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything—hands down one of the best servers we've ever had! We left full, happy, and with great memories. Highly recommend this place for any celebration or night out. We’ll definitely be back!
We had such a wonderful dinner! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with friendly staff all around. A special shoutout to Helen, our waitress—she was incredibly attentive, fast, hardworking, and had such a pleasant demeanor. She truly made our evening feel seamless. The DJ created a perfect vibe, that set the tone for the night. The music flowed effortlessly with the energy of the space, keeping the atmosphere upbeat and engaging. Compliments to the chef for the incredible sushi! The alcoholic beverages were top-notch—delicious and smooth with just the right kick. I have to say, it was one of the best buzzes I’ve had in a long time. Plus, the happy hour deals are unbeatable! Next time, we’re definitely trying the teppanyaki—it looked amazing, and there were so many people back there, clearly loving it. It must be a real treat! Thank you for such a lovely night—we’ll definitely be back! 🍣🍹🎶
Daimons is the best! Always friendly, always a fun time. The owner and chefs and staff are all wonderful! The food is delicious (and so are the drinks!)- there is no bad chef there, anyone you get will do a great job cooking the food! We love coming here.
I was supposed to meet Jody Pearson at the Dunes Cantina, but wound up here. Nice ambiance and friendly staff with great food. Strange silver ball chasing people around outside.

Our Greek teppanyaki chef went out of his way to try to make my birthday special. It was a fun place, but a little loud if you want to have conversations.

Cool little hole in the wall in Sunset beach. Sushi was bomb, and I do love a good hole in the wall. I recommend giving it a try. Grab the "bad hair day" roll and enjoy!

Have visted here the last 4 years. The food is always good. However, it's not the cleanest place. The servers are over worked because management is obviously trying to save money. The sushi chef is mean to the staff but is talented when it comes to preparing food. Still not a fan of bullying the staff. They give out free shots around tip time. Music is horrendous, with proper management it could be a stand out in the over saturated sushi restaurant business in this area. Also for the 1st time I ended there on "Endless all you can eat sushi night" Don't waste your time, the chef will make you sit there all night in between modest orders. My guess is so you will order more drinks.
We have been coming to this restaurant for more than 30 years now. That factors into why I gave 3 stars instead of 2. Both of our last 2 visits have both been a disappointment. The service is friendly enough and pretty efficient. However, the food was not up to par and very disappointing. The steak was overcooked (requested med rare) and chewy, the fried rice was bland and veggies kinda mushy. The overall feel of the restaurant is dirty and dingy. The only exception was the spotless bathroom.

Honestly the food was great, the chefs were outgoing, but what made me not leave a higher rating was due to the fact I had a reservation set at 8:30p.m. I showed up a few minutes early to make sure we had our spot. I didn't sit till over an hour later, by then I was annoyed and actually sleepy. Only reason I didn't leave was because some people in my party actually drove a distance to be there. Like I said before the actual food and chefs were great service sucked though, we didn't really get refills either and there was only one person working as both bartender and waiter.
The food was good. The chef was fun. The place felt a bit run down and unkept. The older hostess was pushy to say the least. Overall it was a decent experience. Was it a couple hundred dollar one? Well... Again, Food was good, not great. The chef was fun, but that was about it. Would I come back and spend $350 for a family dinner? Very questionable.

Sadly it has gone really downhill, when we showed our Saki with some sort of debri in it she said, it’s okay it’s just dust, WTH, manager treated our server like garbage, it was sad, we encouraged him to fine new employment and her behavior is actually illegal here, this is USA not Japan. Sushi chef did a good job, our endamami had no salt and were told the chef was from Greece, uh okay? Go somewhere else, trust me, my husband has food poisoning too now, we ate there last night, ughhh I gave service 3 stars because our server was young and polite otherwise, a 1
We have been coming to this place for awhile and we liked it, even if there were a few funny things. Now however, they have changed happy hour and raised their prices. The fried rice used to come with dinner but now it costs an additional $3.50. They give you pasta with grated parmesean cheese thats not even Japanese. Our cook decided to give us a lecture on politics after our meal when it was supposed to be a romantic date. The other food they give you is ok but I would look for another teppanyaki place for that special night with your loved one.

I actually love this restaurant but the last two experiences I’ve had left me disappointed first I took my girlfriend on our 6 months anniversary here and she ordered the seafood but recieved steak instead we didn’t wanna make a fuss cuz we were sat with another group and we didn’t wanna be the buzz kill. Second experience my most recent we made reservation for my sisters grad night . The day we went they had closed early and rescheduled us to the next night ok no problem so we came the next night the chef we had was under experienced. We asked for specialized orders and none of them were correct . The table next to us was having a fantastic time we barely laughed at all . We had just graduated teens from high school and the cook talked about his addiction problems and it was quite inappropriate we expected a good laugh and a fantastic time . We payed around $500 and we had people from outta state who came . Very disappointed I reached out to the restaurant and never received any call from the owner . I don’t know if I’ll be coming back here after two disappointing visits .

We were here from 7:45 pm until 11:30pm. Poor management! After waiting a 1 hour and 10 minutes I was wondering if we were going to eat. Plus, we had reservations at 8:30 pm. Save your time and money and don't go here. The food was good and Chef was fun. However, Customer Service is not an important principal here. People don't want to hear what you can't or won't do for them. Don't offer a free shot when I can't even get a soda due to lack of service, plus I wasn't drinking alcohol. It took almost 2.5 hours to get a table. I don't want to watch immature people argue or have drama and that's what we got sat across. They refilled my drink and handed it to someone else. Gross! Infectious diseases are something you can get from poor handling of items. Don't eat here!

We had a party of 5, we were there to celebrate a special occasion and thought we'd top it off with a great meal at Daimons... We sat at the tapan grill.. It was very dingy and dark inside, seemed dirty. Had a bad odor of old oil. The bathrooms were dirty. The chef burned our rice, noodles and vegetables... over cooked the shrimp and my New York steak was chewy... I can't think of a worse way to end what was supposed to be a great day, spent with family and friends... We were all so disappointed in this food. We were offered a five dollar discount on our 45 dollar plus meals... This place used to be so great, but NOT anymore... They just raised all their prices and said we could use the QR code to figure out the new prices while the old prices were still on the menu. They raised everything five dollars, which is fine if your food quality matches the price. Something that was supposed to be so fun and a great way to end the evening, turned out to be a horrible experience. They definitely need help in a clean up project and if your going to change your prices, have the new prices printed on the menu. . Don't give an old menu and then tell customers to look up the new prices!!!!! Please clean your restaurant!!!
