On point! I’m on the road a lot, usually eating from my car during the workday unfortunately. It is really hard to find healthy options in that situation. Chipotle is flavorful And a Surprisingly healthy option- considering it’s a chain, also the price is great with massive portions! Top that off with consistent quality customer service and you get five stars!

Their steak is pretty good, come here once or twice a month. Usually the service is good, only one time I went when there was only guys (kids) working and they were having a good old time, wish it was more professional in that sense.

It's a small sized Chipotle, but the staff made it as great as possible. They were friendly and quick when i visited 10-11-24. It's a small shop in a small plaza hidden, so drive with caution while looking for it.

Wow, very tasty, I was starving. Maybe this is why the portion of my Burrito Bowl seems much smaller than usual.. I think it’s the smallest portion I’ve ever had at Chipotle. Like I said, food was amazing, just too little of it. Also, and I think this is up to corporate, but they should open their bathrooms. I always wash my hands before eating. This chit pole is so amazing the associates were so respectful and the place was so nice and clean , and i came here on new years and there was no one inside so it wasn't crowded but i dont know how crowded it usually is but the service was amazing and so was the food def recommend .

Word of the wise: come to this specific location when the store manager is present, and you will receive the best quality of food and service. The same can be said about the location in Mission Valley and Rosecrans. The store manager usually works in the mornings to early afternoon, not on weekends.

It's a small sized Chipotle, but the staff made it as great as possible. They were friendly and quick when i visited 10-11-24. It's a small shop in a small plaza hidden, so drive with caution while looking for it.

They give your very small portions of protein and the bowl is more expensive beans looked very dry and food was not that warm

Basically rude staff. I've eaten there at least 50 times and they just act as though they are doing you a favor. I only return because of the convenience of good quality fast food so I tolerate the rudness.

Staff is friendly. Clean location because it’s a new mall. I don’t like Chipotle for a few reasons. No matter what I order it’s cold, boxed rice (like Uncle Ben) and it greatly lacks flavor. My husband fittingly calls it “Mexican Subway”. I love Subway tho... if you’re in IB get authentic Mexican. You can find a good place on nearly every corner.

Overpriced and terrible portions. Calling themselves a "Mexican" grill is as misleading as if someone were to call Taco Bell Mexican food. While the food is indeed very fresh tasting, that is probably the only thing that is going for them. Will not be a return customer.

Chipotle quality has definitely taken a nose dive in the last year. This branch is fine with service hard rice, burnt chicken, and small rations. Yes. Rations.

I've been eating chipotle for years and for some reason the quality and flavor at this location is different and not in a good way. It's my third time in the past couple months where my rice is gooey globs with no indication of any grains. It's so nasty, feels like you're eating a warm mochi or something lol. Anyways the pinto beans taste sweet and the meat oversalted. I give up on this particular location. Hopefully it goes back to normal

This chipotle disappointed me. Rice was undercooked and when they were serving me I told them and they declined. When we tried it it was way undercooked. Everyone was complaining. Really disappointed!!!

I ordered a chicken salad bowl and was greeted with the most saltiness I've ever experienced. You don't notice how unhealthy it is until hours later when your body doesn't feel right and your tongue has this dry chemical flavor stuck to it. I've been going to this location for years and they used to make their food very good but now that the staff has changed, the quality of their food went downhill. For the love of God, take it easy with that salt shaker!

Poor customer service, requested he she it to warm my tortilla, refused, and said that they didn’t do that there, I explained to her, it, she, him, that it is supposed to be hot, never have I had an issue with getting my tortilla warmed, or receiving a warm burrito, I understand that there are upsell‘s and have to add for avocado, but not for the meat, ended up taking two cold burritos home and now I have to microwave because everything is cold, even the filling is cold. Never coming back here again. Sad part is I live across the street.

Slowest service of any Chipotle I've been to. Regulary out of protein, go somewhere else if you can.

If I could give no stars, I would this place is the most disgusting chipotle I’ve ever went to. I will never eat again at this place. I got sick afterwards. Threw up for like three days after that never again don’t come here you’re risking your life. If you do the health department needs to be called immediately.

I got a bacterial staph infection in my throat from their berry agua fresca drink on Wednesday evening 2/21/24. I felt sick from the very first sip of this drink, it automatically infected me. It’s been 5 days and it still hasn’t gone away. The drink was low on the machine so I should’ve known not to get it, but I did it anyway because I had a delicious much more fresh one at the Coronado location before. One of the workers was on his phone in the kitchen (which is visible to the entire restaurant) with no gloves on. Phones are extremely dirty with germs and he’s handling food, so that already tells me this location is NOT CLEAN. I had to escalate this issue with Chipotle corporate and waiting for an email back.

Wow!! The employees at the Imperial bBeach location have enormous chips on their shoulders. Why is asking for papers towels in the bathroom so reprehensible? when I asked for the paper towels I didn't say it rudely or demanding. It was just to inform them. The way they treated me after that was bizarre. The manager was the most rude and condescending of all. Horrible atmosphere.

Love chipotle but this is the worst bowl I have ever had. This is the stingiest chipotle location i’ve been to. Paid 18 dollars for a cold bowl with barely any protein and rice.

Hands down the worst chipotle I’ve ever been to. Gross, disgusting. Old food everywhere, unclean appearing employees, urine all over both bathrooms, food on the floors, food on every empty table, trash overflowing. No urgency to present a clean space and there were three customers, myself and my partner included. This was a day after they reopened from the IB ecoli scare… barely ate our food, wouldn’t be surprised if we get a little sick.

Time and time again. Knowing how this store works, they don't temp the chicken properly, the back of house stays dirty. And don't start on the walk in. Moldy shelves. And they keep deleting my review.

What a rip off, dont eat here. Chipotle lost my business.

Tonight I stopped at this Chipotle location in Imperial Beach for a burrito for dinner. A place I haven't been to for at least the last couple of months. While waiting in line, I noticed there were ONLY two employees working behind the counter. One cooking and the other employee was BOTH preparing the food and working the cash register. While waiting in line, I noticed after the young woman prepared the food, touching the tortilla and using the utensils for making a burrito, she rung up the customer who was paying with cash. Giving the customer her change while wearing the "SAME GLOVES." As I watched her closely, instead of changing and throwing away the gloves after handling the money, she just walked over to the tortilla grill and started handling the next customer's food with the "SAME PAIR OF GLOVES." After I saw that, I just walked out. The manager of this location should go back to teaching the employees here "the basics of food handling and preparation." Then Chipotle "the corporatation" wonders why their sales are declining. This is definitely a great start as a corporation to look into instead of jumping to conclusions and just raising the prices again which they want to do. Hopefully management will read this review if they want any constructive criticism and "IMPROVE" their food handling protocols and customer experience.

Don't order ahead and expect your food to be ready on time. Prepare for your food to not even be STARTED on arrival forcing you to sit at their un-clean tables waiting for your food.

Just went here it's 6:30pm they close at 10pm, and they don't have any steak. I told the lady I'll wait she got attitude and was like well we're not going to make any. Okay, I walked out. I came for steak and wasn't wanting anything else. I guess yall didn't want my money or the people behind me. It just was unprofessional how she acted. I've been here multiple times in the last 8 years because it's the closest chipotle to me and honestly this location is just a mess. Every single time.
