I’m changing this review to 5 stars. They’ve improved greatly. There in try her first year they were probably the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to every single time. I got the same two or three things every day and they could not get the order right, but it’s much improved. They don’t mess up an order any more frequently than any other place. They are also friendly in addition to being competent now. This poor Starbucks! They are practically across the street from me so I like to walk there a lot with my little service dog. I go there all the time. It was forever before they got my order right. Even though I only got two things, one would be missing, Half of the time, literally. And I’m not exaggerating when I say that the greeting I got from some of the register people was a stare Until I finally said “are you ready for my order”? Lol. But I have to say, they have some really good people working there now. I have had several positive encounters with people and I think that they have had gradual improvement. There are a few cranky people there but there are some people there who are trying really hard and I want them to know that I appreciate them! Keep up the good work guys.
Customer service is on point! This has got to be my favorite SB in the area! I love that they go above and beyond the create the perfect patient experience!
Vanessa’s store is one of the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Brandon is the best barista a customer can ever come in contact with; exceptional service with a smile. I wish I could give him 10 stars instead of 5. He always completes my order without any mistakes and has the type of personality that excels customer satisfaction. I am also very pleased with the quick service when I order on the app. Endless amount of gratitude for the team at this location! 🙏🏽💕
This store NEVER disappoints! I have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time and the baristas are amazing! Raven is an absolute angel and makes my little family feel like we're part of her family! Thanks for all that y'all do.
I'm fairly new to this store and I love it. I'm an early bird so I'm there at 0530 several times a week and my Cortado with heavy cream is perfect every time. The barista's are friendly and talkative, making this place feel like my third place. Thank you for starting my day with a pleasant experience!
I came on 8/17 and Delores was amazing. She helped me fix my drink with no hesitation and great customer service. She has been the best barista I’ve encountered in a long time. Sad that I live to far to make this my go to store but happy that she gets to make others happy with her service. Thanks again Delores!
Fastest Starbucks I’ve ever been to, there was a mix up and they fixed it no issue. Great customer service!! Junie in the drive through and staff when I walked in everyone had a smile on great atmosphere great job guys
Great location especially for drive-thru service that's efficient, professional and most importantly gets orders correct! Jason has the most professional voice 👨🎤 I've heard in a drive-thru for a Starbucks. Edit to add in my next visit a week later, an outstanding super barista named Junmare was, as well, efficient & had the Starbucks ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ quality of being FRIENDLY & FUN in the way he communicates to customers.. Even got my pups a puppuccino though they were naughty and barking. Accurate and efficient delivery of your coffee. 1 of 2 of the best run Starbucks in California. I am a Seattle Starbucks original so I know. Highly recommend!
The drive thru customer service never fails to put a smile on my face. They do a great job here and I don't think I have ever had a wrong order lol
They staff was friendly and professional. They where quick to serve me which isn't always the case considering how busy they can be. The restrooms were clean. The only complaint I have is they don't have any large tables for groups inside and not enough outlets to plug in devices
I absolutely love the new ube drink. Staff are always friendly and my dogs love the pup cups. I know some people complain about prices but there is no extra charge for non-dairy milk and there are so many options to customize.

This team here at this Starbucks are amazing! They treated me like I was the queen of England when I walked in that door! They were all so upbeat and happy! It was a pleasure to get my coffee there today and it was a happy experience to be around so many positive people! Keep up the good work imperial Beach❤️❤️❤️❤️
Silvester is one of my fav baristas I've encountered, first recognized him at this location after he helped me out while I was visiting the Coronado location. I always remind him that his wittyness makes my day. Always gives me some bomb recommendations and his customer interaction doesn't feel forced or fake and it's always a pleasant visit when he's at the window!

I've been to this Starbucks several times, the service is usually good and the drinks are decent. I haven't written a review for this place yet but Today however, I had the service go above and beyond! I was indecisive about my drink order and was having a rough morning. The barista was so patient and helpful! It was genuine service that actually helped change my mood! She even named every pastry available for me and understood exactly how I wanted my drink! It was a very busy morning too and she still took the time with me! Shout out to Isabel! I really hope I got her name right! That kind of service makes all the difference!!
We were headed to the outlets and had some time to kill. Decided to grab a coffee and walk down IB. This Starbucks was super cute, they had all these fun decorations on the tables and walls. Very bright and fun summer look. The staff was really nice, they held the door open for customers with their hands full. Greeted us right away. Drinks came out quickly despite how busy they were. The entire store was spotless and well kept. Very nice location and the drinks came out great!
This Starbucks is in the backside of a shopping center. It is mostly a neighborhood shop with few tourists or visitors. Two things to point out. They have a drive-thru but it's situation in this weird configuration that you would never know. Which leads to the second point. They cater to the drive-thru crowd. If you are going to be ordering inside the store. Expect to wait a while for your drink to be served. They prioritize the car customers.
I don't normally complain but I figure for a few bucks and a tip I gave you , just hoping you could PLEASE ADD A LITTLE MORE COFFEE TO THE WATER!! I go to Starbucks because I like to chew my hot coffee. The big plus you people are nice it's just the formula I'm complaining about and yes I like strong coffee no matter what brand or blend of House Coffee I get from Starbucks it never taste as watered-down as this hot cup did. almost like when you have a coffee pot and get distracted and somehow forget to change out the old coffee and run it through the water again and at that point you just drinking water with coffee flavor. but thanks for being nice people because that's what keeps me from going below four stars

Normally I would give this place, 5 stars at least 4. But as of lately the quality of their drinks have dropped. I ordered about 6 times so far, the new shaken espresso drinks and 4 out of the 6 times it’s missing ingredients. I take it back in the store (I don’t want to hold up the drive thru line by asking to remake the drink). A huge inconvenience for morning commutes to work, since this is the only SB on my way. Hoping to see some improvements and higher quality back in their drinks.
Stopped in this Starbucks for a grande flat white and a ham and cheese croissant. The flat was good and was pretty smooth to drink. The ham and cheese croissant tasted good but was flat and soft. Literally, it was flat, like if it was heated in a microwave or something similar. As a result, it did have that crispy and flaky exterior a good French croissant offers. Customer service was good at the counter. The lady who took my order was friendly. I didn't care for the inside seating. The tables and chairs are on the smaller side and are not very comfortable.
Generally the service is very good at this Starbucks. Today however I am disappointed. I ordered my drink via the app. My order was supposed to be ready at 8:03 it wasn't no biggie I can wait a few extra minutes. No greeting. No acknowledgement. They are busy. I get it. Finally after about 5 minutes the guy running drink asked me what I was waiting for. I stated my name and my order. Him and another worker looked at the drinks on the counter that were already there. And proceeded to go about their duties. No more conversations with me about when my drink would be ready. Ok I have to go to work. So I left. Without my ouder or a refund. I ordered through the app because it should have been ready when I got there. I would have waited a few minutes longer if they would have said that they would have my drink soon. But nothing No commutation. I would like a refund for the drink.
Overall I'm rating it low because hours of operation are inconsistent. Online it says it close at 10PM, but on the door it says 9PM, and the employees say it closes at 8PM. Additionally the tables are small, which sucks when you're trying to use your electronics to work.
They don't actually have the nicest staff. I have been to many Starbucks and this one needs to do some customer service training. They are mostly rude and not welcoming at all. I love how I stand at the counter while they run around looking busy grinding coffee and stocking shelves while not making my order. Until someone from the back say whose making this it is the worst starbucks I have ever been in just go to saturn they have the service part down 5 stars never a bad experience there.
I ordered a regular hot coffee and two groups of people behind me were getting their fancy drinks before I got my regular coffee. I'm assuming they have never heard of low hanging fruit.
This is the worst Starbucks. The drive through line always takes 20 mins and they never make the drinks correct. The last 3 times I’ve gone they have messed up my very simple order. Save yourself time and money and go to a different location.
Shaken espresso is never shaken and the food wasn't warmed up all the way. The drinks are never made the same way. It always made differently and taste different

I once had to have them remake the order three times to not include regular milk and use oat or soy instead and evan after that it STILL was regular milk. They dont take people's needs seriously and blow it off like its not a big deal if people have allergies or other issues.

I went to Starbucks today ( 08.21.23 @10am) an there was a long line in drive thru so I decided to make an online order and while I was checking out getting ready to pay online the line was moving so once it was my turn to order I had told the lady I had an online order and she said “ Next time don’t be placing an online line order 1 minute before getting into the drive thru because the order isn’t even ready yet” and I said ok I didn’t make it a big deal so then I get to the window where they hand out the food/drinks and she gave me attitude with what I had ordered, I had ordered an ice chai latte with NO ice so then she comes up to me saying “so what is it going to be a hot latte since you put no ice” with attitude and I told her just give me what I placed on the app so then she made my drink didn’t even fill it up to the top I still had one more drink which wasn’t handed to me yet and the lady says “what else are you missing” still with an attitude. I’ve been going to this Starbucks for a while now and I have never experienced Such a bad customer service. people there are always so nice but this lady was either having a bad day or just needs to work on her customer service. To be specific it’s a white lady maybe in hers 40’s didn’t get a chance to see her name tag because of how disappointed I was with this service.
New girl that works there is mean. We asked for a straw and she was like what drink do you have? Why do you need to know what drink I have? I have a frappe and a cold brew, and she was like here’s a one straw. But I asked for another and she rudely said “I thought you didn’t need a straw.” Like mam I just asked for straws. The container is empty so I had to ask at the counter. It’s not that hard to give me straws. You wasted more of your energy by asking me rudely about the straws I needed.
I genuinely don’t know what’s going on with this place. I used to enjoy coming here, but every. single. time I go… they screw up my order or they’re missing a food item. I understand missing items isn’t the employee's fault, but it would be nice to at least get a correct order every once in a while. And this has been happening for months! I know morning won’t be the last time I go because the drive-thru is convenient, but they thoroughly messed up both drinks (when the drive-thru wasn’t busy) I ordered this morning, and I can’t drink either because of my health problems. If you don’t understand an order, or you don’t know how to make it or put it into the system so someone else can make it, please tell the customer so their money and time aren’t wasted.
I asked for a Pumpkin Spice Latte, all i got was hot water. It doesn't taste like anything but hot water. NAAAH SON. I need a refund :/
I keep coming back hoping things here will get better . And today was kinda hurtful. Starbucks is suppose to be a place where the workers are kind . Sadly . No. I always order pup cups for my baby and big dog. Today I go in and they give me the tiny cup. While giving another customer of the same nationality a big cup. They make two orders for him. On accident . He says no to the other order so instead of offering it to me who standing right next to him. They take it back and dump it out. And I have a lot of drinks . Because I have a big family. My husband is completely confused. All that showed us is we would rather dump it out than to offer it to your family. I wish this store was more diverse every shift. I wish they were kinder . Not rolling eyes at customers. The lgbtq person which is fine . But . Treat others the way you want to be treated. I say please and thank you I apologize when I’m wrong. But still can’t fit in at this location.

Highly would recommend you visit another starbucks in the morning before work. The impatience and incompetence of the workers i've experience this morning with their crew has definitely finalized that decision for me. We can start with the young lady "Salma" i believe her name was, who's more focused on chatting with co-workers than my order and request at the window. I ordered Via APP and ordered an Iced drink to which they've given a hot one. i kindly let her know and their response was pouring my scolding drink into a cup of ice and now i'm rocking with a luke warm coffee this morning. All this after she rushed me asking do i need a straw, asking 3 times back to back while i placed the drinks in my passengers lap and have ALREADY said no. Overall a terrible experience. Do better Starbucks IB, this is unacceptable.
I always come to this starbucks and they always make my order bad and wrong. I end up getting gift cards bc of their mistakes. Manager should make baristas practice in how to make the beverages . I recommend going to the one in Saturn if you are not in a rush and want your coffee to taste good.

I always order the same drink and ask for the same amount of milk. At other Starbucks locations, I get exactly what I ask for. The drink tastes balanced and just right. But at this one, it’s different. They always put more creamer or milk than what I ask for. It ends up tasting like milk with a little bit of coffee. This has happened almost every time I’ve come here. I don’t think the staff understands how to portion it, even when I explain it clearly. I keep giving this place a chance, but it’s frustrating. I just want my drink made the way I ask, like every other Starbucks does.

(2024)This location is a hit or miss. My order will be correct half of the time. I actually stopped going to Starbucks altogether a few months ago, but I wanted to buy a few gift cards as thank you gifts. While I was there I ordered 2 tall white hot chocolates with soy. I was charged for 2 grande white mochas with soy. The tall/grande switch-a-roo has happened more times than I care to count. I think that is an intentional scam. I let it go, since I don't even regular Starbucks anymore. I also let the whole hot chocolate/mocha mistake go as well. I had quite coffee altogether too. I've switched to tea. I figured this would be my excuse to indulge. Never again. My body is not used to coffee anymore. I didn't sleep that night, and broke out in zits. I felt like I was detoxing from drugs or something. I'm just glad the other "hot chocolate" wasn't going to be given to a child. That would have been horrible. Overall, this location could be more detail oriented when taking orders, making drinks, and customer service. (2026)I don't drink dairy. I always order with milk alternatives. Whenever a batista "mistakenly" uses cow milk, they usually replace my order. Today there was some push back. Their excuse was that they used vanilla soy milk instead of regular soy milk and that is supposed to be why it tastes like cow milk and has frothy lactose bubbles. I didn't accept the nonsensical logic. The manager made the dink again while showing the soy milk container. The drink literally came out the same. They really had me doubting myself. Starbucks is taking gaslighting to another level. They are filling their soy milk containers with cow milk. There is no way this is soy. Look at the pictures. Soy doesn't taste like mucous. I'm DONE with Starbucks. I've finally reached my limit. I threw my drink away when I realized what they did.

This Starbucks is honestly so lame. The baristas don’t pay attention and they’re always messing up drinks. My order is wrong almost every time. The drinks are super inconsistent and it’s obvious they don’t really care. I once asked for a sugar free vanilla latte and they gave me 8 pumps of regular vanilla… like be serious. I’m over it.
It was one of my best Starbucks stops, but recently I don’t know if you guys hired more people or make switches but horrible customer service, raising her voice at me saying “WHAAAAT” instead of “sorry I couldn’t hear you” made me repeat my self 5 times and would cut me in the middle of my order. If I can put 0 stars I would definitely not going back
