This here is one of the best Mexican food Spots in LA, HANDS DOWN! Horchata— DELICIOUS! Burritos— ON POINT! Tacos— PHENOMENAL!! Food overall is just top-notch, enough said! I stay Postmating this spot and ordering from here. This my go-to!

I got the carne asada burrito with just meat, beans and rice..for being a somewhat hole in the wall place..I gotta say I was very satisfied with my burrito..my wife got the Chile relleno plate with beans and rice..she said it wasn’t made the traditional way but she said it real good..oh I also got a shredded beef taco..with cheese hold the lettuce..it was good as well..the shredded beef wasn’t shredded..it was a hole piece of beef..I took a bite then shared it with my family to try it out..good..we will definitely come back when we’re in the area.

The food was really delicious and plenty of it. I enjoyed a fresh shredded beef enchilada with a cheesey chili relleno. My husband had a carne asada plate and the steak had no fat!

Ok, this place is my go-to place for late night Mexican! I'm a chips and salsa kinda person, and theirs are amazing. But then you get a meal too and I'm all set! Sometimes a little left over for lunch too, depending on what you get. :) I still caution that they don't always stay open till the full 2 a.m., so be cautious around the 120/130 am. But my being a late night restaurant employee, I'll keep coming as often as I can get there!

My first experience with El Tarasco was in Manhattan Beach as a high schooler in the early 80s. Tacos, chips and salsa after a day of surfing!! This location on Imperial and Inglewood ave. is also great. The service is very good. The food is WOW! Best asada, best refried beans, best enchiladas, best chips and salsa!! I usually stick to just a few menu items because of cravings. LOL But when I try something different, I'm never disappointed. I recently tried the carne con chili rojo burrito and is now a new favorite. Keep up the quality, taste, and service and I will keep coming.

Extremely satisfied with this amazing place I googled. Their service is fast and their food is delicious!!! My family and I had burritos, tacos, and torta and the taste was on point. I recommend this place to the max! Glad I chose this place. Also, the gentleman that helped us was nice and made our time here very pleasant (:

Ordered the special of the day, the Deluxe junior burrito. It was very tasty good choice. All the food on their menu is good. Prices are more than usual, but worth the value.

By far the best mexican food I've had in a lonnnng time and i eat Mexican food on a constant. Carne asada nachos were amazing and my girlfriend LOVED #33. The Enchilada, Tamale combo, rightfully so. It was so so good! Dude at the window was funny as heck and awesome also. So happy we chose this spot. Will happen again next time I'm out this way.

Very nice staff. Huge outside eating area. You can BYOB which is easy because there is a liquor store right next door. Parking in the back. And a the young lady who took my order was very nice and helpful.

I suppose you get what you pay for. Reminds me of East LA. I ordered a buche burrito with everything! It did not disappoint. It was large and the buche tasted great. Not rotten like most food trucks or stands. One thing to note it was like $15 for this burrito!!!!!!! Geeeezuuuuus!!!!!

Amazing food, great service, and reasonable prices. We have been here before, but I believe it is under new management. The shrimp ceviche and carne asada tacos were amazing. They serve margaritas and beer. Great spot and close to area hotels. Will definitely return!

Just had wisdom teeth pulled that morning then drove from northern California to southern California for work got there around midnight an was starving but couldn't eat much due to holes in my mouth. They were very polite and made me a burrito I could actually eat. Bean, Rice, cheese burrito an it tasted great! Thx guys.

Best place open late, a little pricey but well worth it, an it has great service at night, very nice helpful staff! Will certainly come back and bring friends and family!

My go to here has always been the Cali Burrito. It's always a hit or miss but always worth the swing. I changed it up on a Tuesday because inflation is bananas and paying $15 bucks for a burrito is pain. I got the "Three Amigos" to change it up and save literally a couple bucks. It's a Tuesday special and ended up being well worth the risk. Variety in textures and taste, fresh off the grill taste, and substantial meat in each. Specials are only available at this location.

Story time: my first time having Machaca was at San Diego country club when I was invited as a guest. Best breakfast Machaca 20 years ago. I've been on a search for something comparable and satisfying. Unfortunately, it's been a lot of flops but I took the chance and tried it here. Yumm...gave me that flashback to 20 years ago. This hit the spot for me and I devoured that breakfast Machaca. Food that feds your soul and top it off with their homemade house salsa...I'll be coming back for this. Also ordered some breakfast burritos for my husband and kids....and it was approved by my little 5yr old; said it tastes good just like the ones mommy makes. If I need a morning off from cooking breakfast, I'm coming here for machaca and breakfast burritos. Embarrassingly enough, I got dripping on my shirt, a first for everything, but my belly was so happy.

To start, i would put some photos of the food up, but it gets devoured the second it's in front of me, and I can't stop eating until every bite is gone... Anyways, I stumbled upon this place one night when drinking. I thought, "Hey, why not? Some hole in the wall joints are great." And great was an understatement. I've only had the california burrito, and it will probably be the only thing I ever order from here. When i tell you that if I was put on death row, this would be my last meal.... I'm not kidding. The flavors hit every taste bud and leave nothing amiss. I came back sober to make sure it wasn't just me being drunk, and it was just as good. I've ordered from here 4 times and the food has been the same every time. 10/10 would recommend. Best california burrito in the entire state.

Good Mexican food at a good price. We ordered a super delux burrito with carnitas and a Friday special chicken enchilada that comes with rice and refried beans. They gave us several large chips and 3 small containers of salsa.👍👍👍there were outside seating available.

Just delicious Mexican food. Just like I remember having in downtown LA on Alvarado Street. I had the Al Pastore, chicken, and shredded pork tacos. It comes with a juicy jalapeño, lemon, and salsa and some round chips. I would really recommend you coming down and try it out this place!

In all my 49 years I have never craved Taco Tuesday thank goodness 4 El Tarasco the day that I did. They're late hours are the icing and their food is the cake their menu goes on and on there are so many different combinations I love it I'll be back might start doing Taco Tuesday every Tuesday now

The food was absolutely amazing. My family walked there and we expected a indoor dining experience. It was actually outdoors we didn't expect it but it made the food experience more authentic. We had 2 burritos enchiladas and chips and quac and 2 large drinks and 11:30 at night. It was 41 dollars but it was totally worth it.

They give you chips and salsa with every entree. Plus the salsa is very tasty. And the best way to judge a good Mexican restaurant is by their salsa. You will not be disappointed.

Great street tacos and great service! Love the street tacos (asada and carnitas) burrito could use more meat. Felt just like a bean burrito. Would highly recommend if in the area.

Food is decently tasting, a bit overpriced in my opinion. Yet again food is overpriced in the South Bay. What I do love from here are the chiles rellenos. And if you are a chile relleno fan as I am, you know it's hard to find a great chile relleno that is not homemade. So that is already a win!

Food is actually good here. Prices are bit too high tho. Not everything is worth it tho, I'd say. I got a hard shell beef taco w guac, and two chicken tacos. Outside of the high price, which they don't have posted prices so you have to ask price for literally everything (is this an inconvenient tactic on their part??), Hard shell being almost $5 was made from a small tortilla so definitely not worth it; the chicken soft tacos were too, but they were served plentifully and real shredded chicken so I'll be back for those. Also got whole tostadas and two salsa cups on the house in my order I didn't ask for, so I'd think everyone gets the same. Thanks!

This place has great food. Made fresh, prices are ok but you get a good portion. I love their wet green Chile chicken burrito the best. I tried it this spot because it was close to my Job and I moved but me and my still friends go there cause it's that good. Give it a try. 👍🏾

This place is open late, so if your plane gets delayed, this is the place for take away Mexican food. It does have some tables under cover, but mostly get food and go. It is window service, the area is very well lit and clean. The super deluxe burrito is huge. The dinners come with beans, rice, fried tortillas and a really good salsa. Every thing I got was very good. All the food is made fresh to order, so it took about 15 minutes for my food, well worth the wait. Have cash, it seems the credit card reader is sometimes not working.

if you're going to use credit or debit you'll have it have your ID and spend more than $10 for your information. that came as a surprise but we were prepared. we ordered steak and fish taco plates and we were pleased. they serve a good amount and if we were in the area i would definitely come back. the parking lot also gets packed so i would suggest coming early

The only reason they don't get a 5-star is because of the seating arrangement. If you want to eat there you'll be stuck outside with very little sitting. I mean said if you can't take your food home and enjoy it that would be your best bet. My favorite are the hard shell chicken tacos. To be honest I haven't had much more other than tacos and sopes. Their prices are right it's very convenient. They are open late. Food is delicious. I have even had this food delivered to my house by some of the food delivery services on the internet. Honestly I wish they had indoor sitting they did I'd be going there a lot more. The Sim the neighborhood seems a bit sketchy but if you order your food over the phone beforehand you will for sure have a speedy service delicious food and great experience overall.

Came here for lunch. There was no line so that was great since I only had 45 minutes. I bought 2 burritos for $22 one pastor and the other asada. The burritos were good but I can't justify the burrito at $10. A little over priced if you ask me but good burrito.

The food is a five star but not on Wednesday’s. There is a cook called Omar he has a good hand for the seasoning and it’s fully cooked and it’s not even rushed. Yesterday afternoon I went for my burrito I didn’t had to wait long and today I was craving a burrito how the cook omar does it but today was not it there was another cook and he wasn’t taking his time that my meat wasn’t fully cooked I just didn’t like it, it was so simple. (I guess you would have to try it to find out) the service is perfect there is a short lady she’s so nice I love how she packs my food

Food was great and I would go back, but do not use the ATM on site! They could only take cash the day I went, and my card was compromised after I used it. Started getting fraud alerts within 2 hours and realized the card had been added to someone else’s Apple Pay.

Guys working here have a good sense of humor. I wonder if they actually charged anyone the mean customer fee lol. Food comes out fast and fresh. Free chips are made fresh. Comes with good salsa.

The food prices have gotten too expensive. I understand the economy is bad, but their prices are getting outrageous. I am eating there less and less. I'm pretty sure others are doing th same.

Great tasting food with an old-school feeling. The place was clean and well staffed with courteous and polite people. I would definitely go again and I would definitely recommend to friends. Great tasting food as I mentioned before and well worth the price.

I ordered the asada wet burrito based on the reviews and I have to say it was disappointing it lacked flavor ...the enchilada sauce tasted like tamatoes and felt like it was made without love. It was great that they were open late which was a plus since most places were closed. So if you're starving don't expect much. I will try another dish next time.

My burrito was great but my daughter had chicken enchiladas they were dry. Service was great and it was a nice day so outside eating was wonderful.

Disappointing supreme wet burrito... I drive by the spot all the time and decided to try their food. When I got there the guy wasn't rude necessarily, but I stood by the window and he kinda just avoided eye contact at first. Was an odd 2 minute before he asked me for my order so he may have been busy doing inventory or something. Anyway, ordered my food. Got it under 10 minutes which was great! So I got home 5 min later and was so let down... The sauce/salsa they used was like watered down tomato sauce and just ruined the burrito. The meat (asada), rice, and beans were fine but the sauce just killed the meal. You get free tostada type chips which were good but the salsa they gave tasted like a can of tomato sauce. I really wanted to enjoy this meal. In hindsight, I think I should have just got a regular burrito. I can't give this place 4 starts, I would give it a 6.5/10.

Food options were okay... nothing I haven't had before. The space is up to par. Was slightly disappointed in the fried ice cream. Overall, okay for what you get.

The food wasn’t good unfortunately, we were looking for a “hole in the wall” Mexican place, which we have found usually have pretty tasty options. The chicken was not seasoned well and the sauce made what was supposed to be a dry burrito, a wet one (Chicken burrito added Shrimp). The carne asada fries were not very tasty either the meat was very gummy the green onions were a nice add on but overall just ok (Carne Asada fries). We also had chips and two drinks, this all for $49…..it was a bit expensive for the poor quality.

Tonight thought I go to this local spot for the first time,it's only 2mins away from my home..Its been difficult this months being unemployed so for the most part try to eat at home ,but today sunday was to busy cleaning all day and was too tired to cook. So i ordered a carne asada Wet Burrito($14.50),a carne asada taco(2.50)for me and my boyfriend and an horchata(?)the food came with fresh tostadas and watered down salsa.my total came to $19.89...I honestly feel that it is over priced..I have not paid that much for a a wet burrito or a taco around my area ,or other surrounding areas inglewood,lennox...I will say the wet burrito was very good..the taco my boyfriend said totally not worth no 2.50..Lesson learned I better look at there accurate menu prices and ask if prices are current before I began ordering.The man that helped me was kind,the food ready quick.The horchata was not home made,its manufactured taste...didnt like it..gave it to my boyfriend.There is parking in the back and the place has a front area to eat with a tv..so that's nice..Unfortunately I wont be going back,not good for my pocket...will stick with my budget and go with lennox loncheras... or lichas...

Two plates. One with two cheese enchiladas and one with two chicken enchiladas, no drinks, cost $25 and some change. Red sauce tasted like tomato sauce, no spices. The chicken had no seasoning either. Outside dinning of four tables in the weather. No inside dining available. It wass cold that we ate in the car. They provided a fork, which didn't cut the chicken enchiladas!!

Food is good but nothing special...costs over $7.50 for a super deluxe carne asada burrito and they don't even post their prices. You have to ask the prices (out east you can buy a bigger/heavier burrito with more steak in it for $4.50-$5.25 and unlimited tortilla chips and salsa). I'd also question their methods of preparation. Just by watching the staff make the burritos, looks like the guys working there knew nothing about cross contamination.

I ordered my food through door dash for myself and picked it up. When I walked up I waited behind one other person. As the employee (or manager) finished with them, he looked at me as if to come up to the window, then he turned his back, grabbed a bag, and yelled out someone's name in my face. Which was seriously rude. Maybe he was having a bad day? Then he said to me, can I help you? And I told him I was picking up door dash and he grabbed my bag, stapled it, and said thank you. I would've given 3 stars if the food was all that great but I've had better honestly. The best thing was the guacamole. Won't go back due to that experience.

Got 1 taco of each was very disappointed in the taste of the food... was excited about this place based of the previous reviews . But we I finally got my chance to taste it was nothing like what I have read.. maybe different cook?? Bad night?? But not good.. we did get extra chips I believe it was due to the wait we had to do .. very long wait for us being the only customers at the time

The service was TERRIBLE, the cashier was rude and though there were at least 5 people with uniforms on nobody was there to do the simple task of handing orders to customers. The guy who was washing dishes from my view LOOKED to also be going back and forth from cooking right after several dishes. Food was cold and it was an extreme unnecessary wait. Cashier and other staff need to quit if they hate it there so much!!!

Terrible customer service. The woman taking the orders with a big tattoo on her neck. Had the worst customer service, I have ever experienced. I have been coming here for 20 years and they have gone down hill. I don’t even want to go back. Dealing with getto unprofessional people are really hurting your business.

This place is a ripoff i was charge easily over 8 dollars for a normal carne asada burrito which really upset me when I ate it due to burrito consisting of all the ingredients except the main part the carne asada. I can assure thru out the whole burrito there was a smal portion piece or 2 lil pieces of meat. Reality not even the size of a piece of meat that someone will put on the grill. Dissapointment at this location NEVER AGAIN

Very disappointing, I haven’t had el Tarasco in such a long time and had a craving for the steak fajitas. Was super excited to get my food opened my bag the salsa was not even full, it was in a small container filled half way. The salsa was blah no flavor I remember being delicious. The fajitas had no flavor they were a major disappointment they only put a few pieces of carne asada I remember they use to put a lot. The rice also had no flavor, there was no cheese on my beans . El Tarasco what the hell happened to you guys!!?? You don’t feel the love in this food anymore. I’m sad very sad :(

I ordered eggs and chorizo for delivery and they sent me enchiladas and a ground beef taco so I tried to order the eggs and chorizo again and they again sent me enchiladas and a taco. I don't understand how they got the order wrong twice and wasted hours of my time.

Ordered through the Uber Eats app. I got carne asada fries. The fries were cold and I had asked for just meat and cheese. My issue was fixed through either the app or when I called the place. Never going back again. How do you mess up fries like that? Also they don't pay any attention to you when you arrive. You just wait there until they feel like getting to you.

Ordered 3 plates I got 4, they doubled one so I got over charged. The ground beef nachos had zero flavor not even salt with a ton of grease like soup - Inedible. Then the quesadilla plate was under the beans and rice and the tortilla wasn't even cooked, it looked like it was microwaved and all soft and mushy under beans. The chicken taquito plate (they charged me twice for) was burnt on the grill so it tasted like burnt popcorn and the chicken was dry as hell. We ended up just throwing it all away and won't be back. $50+ down the drain and unhappy wife, 7, and 2 year old. The food quality was horrendous. The guy cooking looked like a kid trying to play chef that has no business near a kitchen.

Unless you want to go somewhere that doesn’t show prices, gets mad when you ask about prices, and then over charges you about $10 then come here ! I’m pretty sure they gave themselves a $10 tip without our permission and I have the receipt attached to prove it. In our bank statement it says we were charged $52. Clearly this is a place that cannot be trusted if they don’t even have something as simple as their PRICES shown anywhere. Don’t come here unless you want to be overcharged and then stolen from. Shady people working and running this place.

The food quality is garbage. Customer service does not exist. The integrity of this place is 1000 percent questionable. I paid for 3 hardshell chicken tacos, 3 chicken taquitos and 1 cheese enchilada and was sold trash unfit for a dog.
