Classic. Never a bad choice to eat here. Better than any of the new over priced trash in the neighborhood! Food is amazing! Service is always on point! Turkish coffee... Trust me. Get it.
Had the Morrocan Eggs with Spicy Mergeuz as well as Morrocan Mint Tea for a late breakfast. While I wished they served a little more bread it was quite tasty. The interior of the restaurant made me think of the movie "Casablanca " and as I went to the restroom to conclude my business a poster of the movie was right there. Apparently they were thinking what I was thinking.
So great we went 2 days in a row. Food, service, atmosphere all fantastic. The Eggs Benedict and Halloumi Eggs are both delicious. They also make a great latte.
Service was amazing . Couscous was very good however I thought they could be little bit more generous with the vegetables on top . We asked for extra and we got the broth only. The marguez sausage was good. Highly recommended if you’re looking for tagines, Moroccan food. The knafeh was amazing .
Very nice Cafe in the East Village! We got there early and got a table just in time (around 5.30 pm when we were leaving the place was already crowded). However I would recommend to wait a little for a table. We were two and got Soup of the day and the side of humus, pita and falafel to share, everything was really delicious and tasty. I’m a fan of pita bread and this one did not disappoint! Service was great and quick, 10/10
Good vibes, great food, and friendly staff! My friend and I ordered the lamb shank with couscous, falafel, labeh, and Morrocan eggs. Lamb shank with couscous, apricot sauce: 10/10 ——————————————————————— Lamb shank fell off the bone, was juicy, non gamey at all, and delicious. We got the apricot sauce with it and couscous. Very nice combo. This is a comforting delicious. Falafel with Tahini (comes with pita): 7/10 ——————————————————————— Falafel was crispy on the outside and not dry. Very nice. Comes with 5 bite size; nice snack. Labeh:8/10 ——————————————————————— Double strained yogurt dip; served with pita. This is creamy but light. It’s very good. Morrocan eggs; (sausage +$5): 6/10 ——————————————————————— 2 poached eggs in a spicy pepper tomato sauce with a sausage cut up. The flavor is good; this is light. Wasn’t a huge fan of the sausage it came with. I also preferred the pita over the bread that the dish came with.
One of my top favorite brunch and dinner spots in NYC - as well as the world at large. (Though I eat here far more often for brunch than for lunch or dinners). It’s also one of my top go to place to take friends or family from out of town. Great service. Great food. Great people vibe. Pretty and intimate location. Be prepared to wait for a table. Authentic ambience - like it’s a restaurant created by somebody who wanted to share their passion for food and wanted to bring together family, friends and loved ones. It’s also a really good first date spot if you need one of those. (Or any date :) just not not a break up date!!!). Terrific coffee as well and I would probably order the Bloody Mary again. xxoo miss cocacola mia 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼
We stopped in here at a friend’s recommendation. They said it was one of their favorite spots and it definitely did not disappoint. We ordered a Moroccan breakfast with scrambled eggs, hummus, two different salads, and pita. We also ordered a side of fries. The scrambled eggs were incredibly fluffy and tasty and some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve had. Everything on the plate was amazing and was even better when enjoyed together. The fries were beautifully crispy and salted perfectly. Everything we tried at Cafe Mogador was amazing. I can’t wait to come back and try out the rest of their menu items.
I visited Cafe Mogador this Saturday with some friends. The food and ambiance were great, so was the service. For Mezze, hummus was good. For the entree I had “From The Grill- chicken kebab”, which was really good. Two of my friends tried vegetarian couscous, and liked it. However the place has very limited vegetarian options. We went without a reservation and the wait time was about 1 hour 15 min in the afternoon.
We just came across this restaurant while walking around East village and never knew what was going to happen.. and the team wowed us in every possible way. Food is reasonably priced but the taste and portions exceeded the amount we’ve payed. Staffs payed attention to every table so that everyone could enjoy the dining experience. Will definitely be coming back when I’m in NYC. This place is a real gem indeed.
One of my favorite brunches in the East Village. Has been there for years and is still as good as the first time I went. The Moroccan Eggs Benedict is delish, as is the Halloumi Eggs and Middle Eastern Breakfast. They have great coffee/espresso and even though the restaurant is always buzzing, the staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating.
How to even begin? I only have wonderful things to say about Café Mogador, despite an unexpected and rather dramatic mishap during my visit. I was visiting New York City from South Carolina, just a few hours into what was meant to be a four-day trip with one of my best friends to see our favorite band. Our very first sit-down meal was here, and I had only managed about four bites when I started to feel unwell. I excused myself to walk to the restroom, but before I knew what was happening, I fainted and collapsed, proceeding to smash my face into a wall. When I came to, the restaurant staff were taking excellent care of me. They were extraordinarily kind and attentive, moving me to a comfortable position, helping me stay calm, tending to my injury, and making sure I received proper care from the paramedics when they arrived. They didn’t charge us for our food and even asked us to call if we needed anything. All preconceived notions I had as a "southern hospitality" southerner about the people of New York were banished by their kindness. Their compassion meant the world to me in a moment that could have been far more frightening and embarrassing. As for the food: those few bites were absolutely delicious, and I wish I’d been able to enjoy the whole meal! Thank you again for not making us pay. Though I left New York the next day with a black eye, a split eyebrow, ripped out eyelashes, and a concussion (and without doing any of the things I’d planned to do on this trip), my lunch at Café Mogador will remain an unforgettable experience. Thank you to the staff for your kindness and care. I hope I didn't traumatize you.
Café Mogador is a crowd fav in the city for Moroccan food and offers exquisite traditional dishes and comfort food. The tagines are not to be missed, in particular the lamb and fish tagines are so savory and tender. Highly recommend getting a couple if you have a group, each is great for sharing between 2-3 people. The jalapeño cheese naan oozes with cheese and is great for spreads. Humus and babaghanoush are super fresh, also loved the halloumi starter, like fried cheese served with grilled tomatoes and pita. My friends and I also loved the bastilla, which was a pastry with savory chicken inside. Their brunch menu looked really great for daytime. Definitely make a reservation beforehand and bring people with you to order lots of options!
Came here for brunch! Cafe Mogador being a Moroccan restaurant, there is definitely a delicious twist to the items they serve. We got the eggs benedict & moroccan eggs with a side of fries. The eggs benedict was solid, and the moroccan eggs were incredible. Like a shakshuka, it is heavy on the tomato base. I particularly enjoyed being able to taste the smokiness of the dish—I’m still thinking about how good it was! Note that they do have various cocktails, but don’t have mimosas readily available. Because the cups are also really small, I recommend just getting a bottle of champagne and having a good time :) Service is speedy & consistent, and the ambiance is bustly & casual. Overall, a great brunch spot in the village that I will definitely be returning to!
This is a neighborhood favorite! It appears that everyone knows each other. The vibe is friendly and warm. Brunch choices were plenty. The food was excellent and you MUST have the baklava! Thank you for a nice experience.
Cafe Mogador is my ‘go to’ restaurant when I’m in NYC. Have celebrated a few birthdays there. The Bastilla — the Moroccan version of a Chicken Pot pie is so delicious and delicate. Phyllo instead is pie crust and all those almonds, cinnamon and African spices are heaven on earth. Always consistent, always predictably good!
The lunch special is a pretty great deal, appetizer and main course that we're both delicious. The presentation of the tagines isn't anything like Morocco, but the taste is pretty darn close and the soup was delicious. The chicken was super tender and the couscous was better than I expected. Good service and plenty of seating make this a go to spot for me. Went back for dinner, and everything was still great. The lamb was delicious and cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and fast despite the crowd.
I briefly humiliated myself in front of our beautiful waitress by mistaking their window for a door, but recovered flawlessly and had an excellent meal. Whoever designed this space is damn good at their job, the interior is spacious yet cozy with a good homey feel. Great environment. Staff were awesome, everyone around us was dressed fabulously and having dramatically intellectual conversations. I got their Sabich sandwich, which was a new food for me, and now a new favorite. My father got the chicken kebab, as I don't eat chicken I can't confirm but he said it was excellent and he was a big fan of their fries and spicy ketchup. We had a great time here, highly recommend.
I have been coming her for years. It has been a while. I am so glad to have gone back. It was a cold winter night and the food here is cozy and delicious. My friend and I shared a bunch of small plates and a chicken tagine. Never disappoints. Fair prices and consistency go a long way. The staff is a delight.
It’s a Moroccan restaurant located in East Village with good brunch options. I visited this place on a Sunday and there were plenty of sitting options. There are both in door and out door sitting options. People working there were very friendly and the service was fast. I can recommend egg Benedict which tasted really good.
Incredible place, love it!!! Very cozy, down town vibes with many seating options including patio and bar. It's one floor, street level. The menu is Moroccan / middle eastern inspired. I ordered a variety of traditional dishes that all went well to my satisfaction. The Tagine (with couscous) and topped with traditional lemon sauce and olive is something you must try if you want to explore ethnic food, so delicious. Friendly staff, excellent service. NO online reservation, walk in only, we waited 45 minutes for a table.
This is one of my favorite nyc places! There hummus platter / mixed platter is really great. All fresh and tasty. I often times go for the veggie couscous (ask for extra soup there) good coffee, Great cocktails and the vibe is awesome. Always kind service and just good vibes. We were 3 people last night hand some drinks and a bottle of wine + food and it's was all really around 55 each. Good value I feel. Usually those dishes were bigger but corona does hit us all. Much love.
Came here twice on different occasions. Very cute restaurant with an amazing setting. The food was delicious and not overpriced. Had some excellent cocktails as well!
A highly recommended place. Everything we ordered was really good. I plan to return myself some other time so I'm happy to suggest this place to anyone. We had the Lamb Couscous, Mixed Grill, Chicken Kebab and Lamb Morrocan Tagines for entrees. All amazing options. For starters we shared Tabouli, Hummus and Falafels, all really amazing choices.
I hadn't been to Mogador in a few years, but I was happy to see my old haunt is still as fantastic as ever. It's always busy, so be ready to put your name down and wander the area as you wait, but don't worry, it's worth the wait. Brunch is definitely their strong suit, and shouldn't be missed. Perfectly cooked eggs, deep, flavorful sauce, seasoned to perfection. The mezze options are so delicious and cheap enough to try a few. Great place for vegetarians as well!
An east village classic - cafe mogador is a great spot for people watching and gossiping about others lol. Food is delicious as usual and gives good portions for what it’s worth. All the meals they serve (brunch, lunch, dinner) are delicious and flavored perfectly to their Moroccan style of cooking.
We came here based on a recommendation from a friend who grew up eating eating Israeli food. He told us this restaurant reminds him of his mom's cooking and I don't think there is a better compliment to give a restaurant. Food: The food was excellent, there were so many veggie options and the portions were a good size. Everything was perfectly seasoned and many of the food items were unique, something I had never tried at other Mediterranean restaurants. Price: I would say the prices are pretty reasonable considering the amount of food given and the quality and taste. Ambiance: It's dimly lit and gives off this intimate cafe vibe without being casual. They have this beautiful bar that's a bit higher up than all the tables and chairs - almost like a stage, and it gives the restaurant a nice distinction. Service: Service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and happy to answer questions. Any time we needed to order something, there was always someone there to help. I highly recommend this restaurant. Instagram: @TheShahLALAnd
This is a nice restaurant for a delicious brunch. It was my first time at a Moroccan restaurant, and I had a great experience with really tasty dishes. We ordered the Moroccan Benedict and Malawach, and both were delicious. The Malawach was something I don’t usually have for breakfast, but if you like spicy food, I’d recommend trying it with the Moroccan sausage on the side. The service was great, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
Love going here for brunch. Staff is always so attentive and friendly. Whenever I come here, I usually order the Middle Eastern breakfast. It is light and delicious. We also ordered the eggplant and tahini. It’s so tasty. Been to both locations (in Williamsburg and East Village) and neither ever disappoints. One of my favorite spots to take family and friends who are looking for something good to eat.
Amazing food, extremely attentive service and charming ambiance. LOVED the cardamom oatmeal and halloumi poached eggs. Dessert was amazing as well! Can’t wait to come back. Also everyone was helpful with accommodating gluten free restrictions 🫶🏻
Café Mogador is an authentic Moroccan gem and an East Village institution you’d do well to measure others by. The Moroccan eggs are sublime—a dish that sets the standard for a soulful, refined meal. Ordering a pot of Moroccan mint tea with a side of champagne is a treat that perfectly balances the vibrant energy of the room. It’s a rare spot that pairs rich authenticity with high-end execution. An absolute neighborhood delight that never misses a beat.
Perfect spot for breakfast. The Middle Eastern breakfast was light, flavourful and delicious. There were a lot of great options to choose from on the menu, I could go there every day for a week and get something new each time. Had a black americano too and it was great. They were quite busy, so staff were not super attentive but welcoming and friendly regardless 💫💫💫💫💫
Food definitively the highlight of this location. Food prepared with balance and care. Hot sauce with hummus was amazing and eggs very well prepared. Salad with beets and vinegrette excellent. The postcard with the image of the owners grandparents made the visit more meaningful. Busy but service prompt and seating quaint. Will visit again.
A friend and I visited this spot to try an off-menu item, an anise-flavored spirit called Arak. This was the second drink in a series of many from around the world. The drink has a strong scent of licorice and it paired quite nicely with a pita bread and Matbucha, a tomato & jalapeno-based spread. Quite a simple meal but delicious indeed. Worth a try!
Cafe Mogador was outstanding. The food was incredibly flavorful and beautifully prepared—everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient without feeling rushed. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Easily one of those places that lives up to the hype and is worth coming back to. Highly recommend!
Favorite place in the east village. The coziest atmosphere, the friendliest staff, and the freshest most delicious food! Always left with a special feeling of satisfaction, but also gratitude with this place. Such high quality ingredients, passionate staff, and an elegant atmosphere like Mogador’s are rare these days.
I fell in love with Moroccan food the first time I ate at Café Mogador. The food is consistently delicious, and the whole place has that warm, cozy, late-night vibe that I love. My must eats? The lamb shank with stewed apricots and prunes, the sautéed calamari, and for dessert, the knaffeh topped with roasted pistachios and rose water syrup. Reservations are highly recommended, as the restaurant is always bustling. Dinner at Café Mogador? Always a win.
Great food and ambience. The couscous with the chicken had a mild and pleasant flavor. There was some extra broth on the side to pour into the couscous. The lamb shank tagine with dried plums and apricots was hearty and flavorful. The rice was deliciously bathed in the lamb stock. The Moroccan music and eclectic crowd provided a lively atmosphere.
✨ Dinner at Café Mogador last night did not disappoint. Drinks were smooth, food was on point, and the whole place had that cozy, late-night vibe I love. The kebab was the star, super flavorful, unique, and honestly right up my alley (maybe I’m biased, but I’d order it again in a heartbeat). Wrapped things up with a raspberry sorbet that was light, refreshing, and the perfect finish. Service was chill, not too in-your-face, which I liked, though I had to wave for attention a couple times. Nothing major, just the pace of the night. If you’re after authentic flavors + great energy, Mogador is definitely worth a visit. 🌿🍷🍢
What we ordered: Chicken Tagine with couscous Roasted eggplant Turkish espresso martini Moroccan Mint Julep The quality of food is so very fresh here. I recommend everything we ordered, the chicken is so tender. The staff is lovely. The only thing we didn’t love the tahini sauce on the eggplant otherwise the eggplant was so good & the pita that came with it was perhaps some of the best we ever had!
LOVED THE FOOD. First time in a Moroccan restaurant. It was delicious. The pita bread was so tasty. The eggs are cooked to perfection. The chicken is so tender and the spicy sauce on the side is perfect with it. Get the country breakfast and the other one. OMG and the orange juice so fresh and hydrating. Good experience and excellent to the point service 🫓🥘🍽️
Place 2/10 of our food tour 🍲 We had the Haloumi eggs it was very delicious and has depth. 10/10 food! Just the service could had been better as we waited a while for a server to come to our table and assist us.
Atmosphere is inviting and beautifully decorated. Soup and couscous are delicious and exemplify Moroccan cuisine. Service is a letdown with disorganized and uninterested staff. If you don't mind bad service, the restaurant may be worth checking out for the delicious food and beautiful ambiance.
Just tried out this Moroccan restaurant and I have to say, it was amazing! The food was so flavorful and delicious, and the vibes were just perfect. The staff were super friendly and charming 😉 and made the whole experience even better. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out for a fun and tasty meal. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!
Another great place to find middle eastern food. It’s a big space, a little bit low on light but you can definitely have a nice conversation with your friends. The mezze dishes were quite small and the food presentation was not impressive but it was delicious. This is a nice place for brunch if you are spending your day in the East Village.
We went to Mogador at this location -101 St Marks Pl twice during out stay in New York – Highly recommended if you are craving for Mediterranean food. Recommend the Hummus and the Falafel in appetizer and in the main dish recommend the Chicken Kabob and the Kefta Kabob. It comes with the Pita which was soft and fresh The Kefta Kabob had a lot of flavors and the rice that comes with it was very flavorful Also recommend the Chocolate Mouse in dessert. One recommendation -Book ahead of time as we had to wait for at least 30 mts for getting seated. There is option for seating outside which was nice I did saw an issue with the size of the table for two persons. Since me and my daughter went the second day – The table was not enough to place two plates and the appetizer as they were delivered back-to-back
We came for a brunch at ~11:40am on Sunday. There were empty tables inside, so we did need to wait. The service was good! Our food was prepared quickly! I went for Sabich Plate as the main course. However, it was not satiating for its price ($18). It was nice experience to try it, but I would not order it again. Fortunately, we also ordered falafel & tahini. Falafel was delicious! Definitely a like! As a drink, I chose Moroccan Mulled Wine. It's good! All in all, it was a nice experience to try a different cusine.
A small cozy place. As often happens in New York, it's old and shabby, with scratches on the mirrors and its own smell, decorated in a mismatched way—just the way it turned out. The staff is very young and friendly. At one point, the waiter suggested clearing all the plates, even though we had just barely touched our food. The pita bread with hummus could have been served hot; that would have made it tastier. Instead, it was cold and already stuck together. The hummus seemed a bit watery, lacking in flavor. The Greek salad was ordinary—neither particularly good nor bad. The baba ganoush was decent, but it lacked the characteristic smokiness of the dish. The Moroccan iced tea without sugar was okay. The bill wasn’t too high. I probably won’t recommend it to my friends, and for next time, I’ll choose something else.
we were in the mood for Moroccan food and online reviews said this place was good so we made a reservation to check it out. overall the place is good with good service, decent portion and decent flavors. we started off with the greek salad and the hummus and then got the halloumi skewer and chicken tangine. the hummus was served with pita but it was actually frozen naan and they were not good. the hummus was decent the couscous plate was a decent portion and had good veggies - the chicken was a bit bland and could’ve used some more flavor. the halloumi was decent but it was definitely not a veggie skewer that accompanied overall - decent food and good portion size but flavor is a bit lacking
delicious and flavorful moroccan food in the east village. great lunch stop and would come back to try other dishes. hummus: pita was fresh with a good amount of char. hummus was tasty but didn’t wow me. duck: flavorful but slightly dry. needs some accompaniments to balance out the dish. chicken kebab: standout dish! so juicy and smoky from the grill, would get again.
Always busy here it seems but well worth getting a table inside or outside if you wish. Some wonderfully tasty options, with good size portions. So busy though that my table of four guests all felt guilty to sit there afterwards to enjoy the moment, as the queue was building up outside! Veggie and gluten free options, always good to discover!
I think this place is pretty good! There was a tremendous amount of hype to go to this place so I was excited to check it out. Food: Went there during there brunch this past Sunday. I ordered the country breakfast with baba ganoush as an appetizer. The baba ganoush was pretty out of this world! I really enjoyed it. Extremely flavorful and smooth texture. I honestly wanted to order more. The country breakfast was good but a bit underwhelming. It didn’t have a tremendous amount of flavor and if the labne wasnt part of the meal then it was pretty dry and basic. But the labne helped the plate consistency overall. My partner ordered the Moroccan Benedict (sorry forgot to take a picture,) but that plate was much better and extremely flavorful. I would recommend ordering that over the country breakfast. But if you want more simplicity or if you’re watching that calorie intake (summer body goals, am I right? ;-) then I say order the country breakfast. But it won’t be memorable. Service: The service was very friendly and attentive. Nothing bad to say. Atmosphere: It was ok. I think it was fine. It didn’t give date night vibes but a good place for the family and/or friends. The chairs wasn’t the most comfortable but I’m not taking points away for that. Overall, it’s a nice, it just felt a bit crowded but nothing that should bother you too much. Overall: 4/5 stars. I had a good time there. I think the food was good. If I come back I will try their dinner menu next time. I think it’s worth going to and exploring their menu and variety of plates. I had a plate that wasn’t something to scream at but there are others that are worth that. Please and enjoy and leave a review of your time there!
I used to come to Café Mogador when I was in college nearby, so returning to the same spot almost 20 years later brought back wonderful memories and emotions. Needless to say, for any restaurant to survive more than two decades in a fast-paced foodie city like New York is no small feat. The food was excellent then, and it’s still excellent now. The lamb tagine, salmon, and okra were all delicious. For appetizers, the labneh with za’atar, cauliflower, and grilled shrimp are especially tasty. And the baklava is truly to die for—in fact, you might as well order it first. Why not? Live a little. Great staff, very reasonable prices, and a romantic atmosphere. It definitely deserves a visit from everyone—students, tourists, and old-school New Yorkers alike.
I really enjoyed being there and taste their Moroccan couscous that was so tasty , the tajine too ( specially the sauce and the chicken was cooked well ) I liked the vibe and the drinks it was very refreshing If something to improve is to separate the men to the women restroom and improve the taste of the pastilla = the chef should put more almond to mix the flavour between salty and sweet)
We had brunch with friends at their Williamsburg location years ago but were not satisfied with its portion and the flavor wasn’t our type. We gave it a second chance for their restaurant week offer last week when we were in the neighborhood. We thought the offer is not really special compared to the regular menu. The chicken was braised soft and flavorful but the portion didn’t meet our expectations. The pita was dry but tasted much better with hummus. Overall, the food was decent but it’s kind of pricey with its quality and portion for us.
>>>>>>>>>>>NO HALAL MEAT<<<<<<<<<<<< Beautiful place with delicious food, I ordered couscous with lamb first, but I did a mistake to not ask if it's halal meat, I'm Moroccan, so automatically every Moroccan food is halal in my mind, unfortunately it wasn't the case here 😞, so I ordered couscous with veggies. So sad 😭.
The service was extremely attentive and nice. The environment is a bit loud and maybe tight but it is winter so the outside tables were too cold. It is like a friendly neighborhood cafe. I was personally disappointed by the food. Just a personal preference I guess. The eggplant dish was excellent but the rest was not so much. Also the mint tea was so comforting and flavorful
Hummus here is so bland. It's like eating cardboard. I got the hummus plate with falafel. They jazz it up with zhug, but hardly any taste. The falafel was okay but not worth it. Service was good.
I came here to meet my friends and the first thing the hostess said to me was: I can’t accommodate you. What? The restaurant was empty, and my friends already had a table. I get it, I’ve worked as a host too, she probably had a lot of reservations coming soon. But she didn’t even say hi to me. I thought I had to leave, but then she pulled a chair for me with a very rude attitude. The food was great and the server was the sweetest. Everything was great besides from the hostess (the only reason I’m giving a 3 star rating is because of her!) I think her name is Sophie, the one with glasses. Very rude!
Host is quick & attentive. Servers are sweet & polite. Food portion & presentation is poor. I expected the lamb dish to have more starchy vegetables. All the meats were tender. The lamb taste was an 8/10. The skewers, sausage & salad were a 10/10. The “fresh” nonalcoholic drinks were questionable. Timing was also off from the kitchen (additional salad came 10 minutes later). The price for 2 people was $80 before tip. I would not come here again. Thank you for service.
Real cute but unfortunately so deeply mediocre. Trader Joe’s hummus tastes more authentic, the Bastilla tasted soooooo dry, somehow flavour lacking across every dish and the service, on a Monday night, was limited. With dishes this dry, would have loved more water. Really tough to have such a cute awesome atmosphere demolished by below standards food. Also, pricy for what it’s worth! Halloumi was the best part, but the volume was tiny. Overall, disappointment, not worth it in the sea of great food!
Not worth your money and time. Serves overpriced bar food disguised as Mediterranean cuisine. The harissa honey wings are tiny for $16 (there were 6-8 pieces of drums and wings, most likely frozen) and the cheese jalapeño “naan” looks like something a college student made. Tight space and staff kept knocking over a bag I had hung over the chair
I visited this establishment on January 30th, 2026, around 5:00 PM with two friends. We were having a substantial dinner—three mains, two bottles of wine, one beer, and appetizers. While we were in the middle of our wine and had just ordered another round of food, the host actually approached us and asked us to leave because she wanted the table for someone else. I have never experienced such a blatant "turn-and-burn" tactic while actively spending money. It is insulting to be treated like an inconvenience when you are a paying customer. To be told to vacate while you have items currently being prepared in the kitchen is peak service incompetence. While the manager was kind enough to step in and tell us we could stay, the hospitality had already been completely killed by the host's pushiness. We went from a celebratory night out to feeling like we were being timed on a stopwatch. If you want a meal where you aren't looking over your shoulder to see if the staff is hovering to kick you out, go somewhere else. We won't be back.
