Excellent food and drinks. Great service. Awesome interior reminiscent of your own living spaces. Great backyard with pool table, lounge areas and tables to sit and eat or drink .
Great Bar on the weekend, the doorman was very kind. Great place to dance on the weekend.
Carlos and Daniel were incredible! They helped us plan an event and it was so easy and successful. This bar has an incredible vibe and incredible people working it. The owner is also a really lovely and incredible person. 💗💗 Thank you so much for your kindness!!
Went to this spot after seeing a play with my best friend and everything was cool although in a packed house i was only one of 3 people of color. Cool no problem but a bartender named Ry ignored me and served everyone around me. I thought maybe if i said excuse me i would get his attention, but then he ignored me more. I said excuse me louder and he then said stop shouting and continued to ignore me and serve all the others around me. I was like "maybe its too dark over here, and you dont see me?" The guy then flipped out on me and started yelling at me, which really told me he had an issue with my "tan" . He then got another bartender named Luis who apologized for Ry and said he was a new bartender 🙄. Clearly to me he had some race issues. The spot was nice otherwise but was not diverse and hopefully Ry will find another job more fitting his attitude. In my opinion Ry was some racism issues. 🤷🏿♂️
This could’ve been a totally fine and un-noteworthy experience, but the service was bad enough to shift any neutral feelings I originally had to negative ones. The bartenders were both cold, they just stared at our entire group blankly and said virtually nothing. When asked the price of a drink, the bartender proceeded to make the drink immediately without giving the price, charge a card and then later present the bill. The built in gratuity made the price even harder to swallow - if no service was provided, you shouldn’t be forced into a set tip. On the up swing, the bartenders refunded the drink without complaint, so we appreciated them correcting the miscommunication. Despite that, it was still an unfriendly environment to spend time in. The environment was alright, with pleasant lower lighting but otherwise minimal effort put into decor or ambiance. Prices aren’t listed, which is a little off putting to people that are cost-conscious. If you don’t post prices, you should be more than happy to discuss the drinks and prices with guests who care, but that was the opposite of the case. Maybe it’s better for dancing? It seems like there’s set up for that later at night. Drinks were decent, nothing fancy but tasted solid. Ultimately though, it wasn’t worth the money and wasn’t a comfortable environment to be in. If the service improved I could see it being a decent spot to visit! Cost: -built in 20% gratuity -basic cocktails (mixer and liquor-$14 total) -higher abv cocktails $19 after built in tip
This placed added non-disclosed auto gratuity of 20% to all of our groups individual drink tabs when we all had already tipped. There’s no manager on site to assist. Finally got in contact with someone via email and they ignored the concerns. Incredibly shady practice. Overpriced tiny dixie cup sized drinks as well with subjective pricing based on who your bartender was. Avoid.
This was one of the dirtiest and rudest restaurant experiences I’ve had in New York. Tables were sticky, floors looked neglected, and the overall hygiene felt questionable. Staff attitude was openly rude and dismissive, as if customers were an inconvenience rather than guests. Simple requests were ignored, and basic courtesy was completely absent. The atmosphere felt chaotic and uncomfortable, not “authentic” or charming. For a city with so many excellent dining options, this place stands out for all the wrong reasons. I would not recommend it to anyone who values cleanliness, professionalism, or respectful service.
This place is awful, on 2 separate occasions I have had both of my credit cards stolen, then my phone. They were both taken right out of my zipped up purse. The security there needs to be way better at watching people. I didn’t even take my wallet out of my bag all night and it was right on my hip and i would check it every 5 minutes. I will never be coming back here.
Beware the auto 20-30% tip they throw on all transactions without disclosing first. Which is illegal in New York. * Go here if you want your stuff stolen and to be overcharged and underserved. * Like another reviewer said I’ve requested a refund for the ridiculous charge via my receipt, since the bar doesn’t answer their phone at all after many calls. I’d love to see them refund me the charge otherwise I’m disputing it with my bank. Spot seemed half decent but clearly super dishonest and scammy.
Honestly pretty boring. Very generic music. Not many hype songs. I am just one review so try this bar for yourself to make an actual review. I think there’s better places. I ordered a vodka sour. Not sure what I got. Definitely not a vodka sour. It’d be nice if they played a mix of 2000s and current mixes. If you like early 2000s mixes it’s great for u! I love early 2000s mixes but not they’re just not danceable in my opinion.
Cover charge is laughable. Too many options ok the same block and it’s worth having a better or worse time.
They include 20% service charge and the display does not indicate that they've already charged you the tip. Very dishonest. I've requested a refund from them. If they fail to refund, I will dispute it with my credit card company. As far as the vibe, it's like a divey club, and they play a lot pop songs with female vocalists. Fun, but the the dishonest business practices left me with an overall bad impression.
I ordered three Bud Lights, and the bartender initially rang up $20 on the portable card reader. Then, without saying anything, he turned around and charged me $25 instead. On top of that, he automatically added a 30% tip, bringing the total to $32.50. When I questioned why a tip was included, he acted confused and said, “This doesn’t look right.” He briefly turned away, pretending to check something, then looked me straight in the eye and claimed the 30% gratuity was standard. Not only was he rude, but he blatantly lied. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Stay away
So this was my first time ever in 13 years being kicked out of a bar. I have no idea what I did wrong and I wish I did I literally was standing talking to two of my friends, mind you I wasn’t belligerent drunk I had two drinks Gin and tonic. I am puerto Rican and black so I’m not pulling the race card since the bouncer who kicked me out was either Mexican or Peruvian. I attempted to ask why I was being kicked out for standing and talking I’m 34 years old I’m not some young person who can’t handle LQ… I attempted to ask why I was being removed from the bar and the guy said I will tell you in front of the bouncer which I agreed to with no resistance. I calmly walked out of the bar with him and at the door he hardly pushed me out front and went back in to not intail why I had been removed. I spoke with the bouncer and apologized not knowing what I did and complimented him kindly on his tuxedo and didn’t make a scene out of the situation, however I honestly wish I just had known what I had done wrong to not make the same mistake going forward at any other bar and was never given a reason or explanation why I was being removed and I’m not mad I’m just sad that I’m unable to correct whatever mistake may have been wrong in the eyes of this bar. I will say I will never come back here again and don’t advice anyone to come here due to the pricing of drinks and crowdedness and it’s misdirection of what’s available at the times such as the back yard being closed at 11.00 PM, and the prices for 4 drinks being oversold 100$ Would have fathered spent my night in Brooklyn if it weren’t a close friends birthday. Any hoot, I wish I knew what I did wrong to be removed from the premises it would have st least made me a better person going forward to know to be a sheep. I don’t hate this bar note.. I just wish they were empathetic to at least correct whatever mistake I may have been made.
BEWARE OF ST DYMPHANA'S. My phone got stolen last night and security could not care less. They were suspiciously unhelpful and said that 10+ people had missing phones in the span of 2 days. I was fully sober and my phone was in my bag, which was zipped up and someone still got into my purse and stole my phone. The crowd was so packed and everyone was getting pushed all over. Terrible experience and will never be back.
Walked in and the Female Bartender forced her way over to serve us , as she was too busy on her cellphone (The place was empty) She finished her shift shortly afterwards, and the Owner/Manager sarcastically congratulated her on making him a lot of money. Then he came on shift and completely ignored 2 new guests who were waiting to be served, as he was far too busy chatting to the female bartender. In the end they had to walk to him to get served, and he appeared like he couldn't be bothered. Note to Owner / Manager: next time you wonder why the place hasn't taken any money, look at yourself and your staff.
Enticed us with good music and good time. Left with an incredibly high tab (over $20 a drink for less than a shot of liquor). DJ did not listen to requests and after 30min switch the vibe completely. Disappointing. Please play Brat.
Came from out of town and went to this place last night and the bartender was just off to the side eating dinner and watching TV. Got ignored for a good two minutes before deciding to sit back down and wait for him to finish his dinner. The place was pretty empty and there were only 2 other people by the bar. We were surprised when he walked up to our group and yelled that we had to order something because they “don’t offer free seating” and stormed off before we got a chance to explain ourselves. After letting him know that his behaviour was rude and that we were just trying to be nice by letting him finish his dinner, he told us that he “speaks to everyone like this” and that “we just stared at him with our mouths open”. This all could have been avoided had he just asked us nicely whether we ordered drinks - especially since we were trying to be considerate of his break time. We ended up leaving because we felt very unwelcome and disrespected by the hostile encounter.
