When I am coming to New York City, I am going to kababish .First time we went there for breakfast Bcus other restaurant said we open late and close the door very rudely.(Thanks Dera restaurant) Yesterday first time we went dera and next time we don’t wanna go there. Yesterday I took food for dinner and today again dinner from kababish
Been going for 10 years food still taste very good . This the best place kebabs I get the gola kebab and beef behari .
I measure other restaurants against this one now. The restaurant is tiny and packed midday, but compensates with tasty dishes and good service. The dishes show exceptional preparation. Staff knows the menu while maintaining warmth. I'm planning to return to sample different menu items.
hello guys M Shah My boss through a party to there 7-11 Employees. The food was very tasty, Every body like and enjoy the food, There were 5/6 dishes with sweet dish on the side. i recommend them for any occasion.
It’s not the cleanest restaurant in NYC but man, their food is top tier. I really love their butter chicken and I partner it with garlic naan. While waiting for my order, I usually get a cup of chai which only costs 1.50$ btw. I’ve tried their biryanis and they’re great too. But the butter chicken is on a another level. They’re open late so it’s perfect for munchies iykyk
I haven't had a roll or chai this good since being in Bangladesh or India. Oh. My. Goodness. I would eat here daily if I lived nearby and be so happy. At least get a daily chai. $1/cup?! Are you kidding me?? It's so good. Perfect balance of cinnamon, cardamom, clove, and a touch of sweetness. Or a $2 chicken kebab or $3 beef kebab that's heavenly?! I'm thinking about moving nearby just for this place

Do not go for the ambiance or decor--as there is none. Instead, do invest in the tasty dishes offered in this humble establishment. The young and old employees are very respectful and sincere and do …
This place is definitely not your typical sit-down fancy restaurant, but it's a hidden gem with some of the best Bihari kebab in NY and the best gola kebab I've ever had. It's a craving that make…
Best food and reasonable prices. My favorite is their kebabs and naan very nice. Excellent.
i love their food.its so delicious.i never disappointed to order their food.specially kabab & garlic nan is best.Beef kebab, chicken kebab also best
Authenticity!!!!! PERIOD! This is not your typical "American version of" indian restaurant. Kababish brings the authentic Desi flavor and that makes it #1
I have been there for many times. Foods are pretty good. Seekh kebab and naan are so nice. I specifically don’t like the way their customer service. Always takes time to serve food to the customer. Normally you will not get food within 20/25 minutes. Which is not acceptable as a takeaway restaurant. Every time I try to get there people are shouting about their order because of being late. I tried the lamb chops and it was delicious and perfectly cooked, but again the time issue. Very very very small and cosy place they do not even have a proper waiting area to pickup the order. I hope if the owner take care the issues seriously it will be the best desi food station.
Corner store with barely enough standing room space takeout located in Jackson Heights. Don't let the tight quarters and simple kitchen fool you. This spot has been serving authentic and mouthwatering flavors of Pakistan/India for years. They are busy round the clock with customers making a beeline to taste their fare.
So when it comes to Pakistani cuisine, this hole in the wall take out place is probably the best in Jackson Heights.\nThe area is swamped with Bangladeshi, Nepalese, Pakistani and indian food and sho…
Place looks dirty. I ordered the Gola kebab. It wasn't all that great compared to other places I've had it. The late night hours makes this place convenient. I'm going to try other places in the ar…
Had a late night craving for Biriyani. Thought what the hell, id give this place a try. To be honest.. If you guys had the option to order from Raj's indian cuisine in LIC, do IT. You will not be d…
I ate Beef Biryani and was disappointed to find that the beef pieces were not fully cooked. The meat was very tough and hard to chew, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. I even had to throw away three large pieces because I could not eat them. I had to trash them out. After cooking, it is the duty of the chef to check the softness of the meat. Looks like the chef did not bother to taste and see. The rice also is inadequately cooked. Over cooking the meat will not be an issue but under cooking certainly is. I hope you can look into this issue to ensure better quality in the future.
Kababish is my favorite place to go since 2014. I moved out from NYC but still I try to manage to get food from their store. Last time, I ordered beef, I came home and found it was chicken kabab even though I paid for beef. I just got home and opened the order. Guess what ? Food was uncooked again. Please stop doing it.
Had Seekh Kebab, Chicken biryani and tea. Seekh Kebab was awesome, will rate it as one of the best ones that I had in a while, though it wasn't freshly prepared. All other items were not upto the mark, tea reminded me of stale ones which get heated multiple times. If you look for hygienic place and clean decor, won't recommend this place.
Was disappointed. Ordered the chicken kebab roll. The amount of chicken was not enough. Would have been better if they doubled the amount of chicken. Tasted more of the onions and cabbage than the chicken. Chicken itself was not that flavorful. I did like the bread/roll though. Also needed more sauce. Roll was $4.50. I'd give it a 5/10. Chicken kebab by itself I think is $3. I would recommend merit kebab over kababish.

Chicken Biryani was so salty. It tasted as if it was boiled in salt water. It's sad how a place where Andrew Zimmern visited couldn't even make a chicken biriyani.

So unprofessional staff I bought the lamb chops it's not fresh do not go this restaurant also we found roach in biryani
It was our great restaurant before we went there last Sunday from westchester county for there kebabs. But it was down grade from kebabs no taste, naan was rock, and chicken baldi no taste at all. …
I called to place an order for pick up and the gentleman who took my order was very nice- everything went downhill from there. I asked him when to come and he said 15 minutes. We ordered chicken tiki masala, curry goat & curry puffs so 15 minutes was fair to fast. The sequence to follow is pure comedy. For any of my Seinfeld fans: “it’s not taking the reservation that’s important, it’s keeping the reservation that’s the important part”. When we arrived there it, there was a long line of people all waiting to be attended. After waiting for about 5 minutes to be acknowledged by any staff I had to ask for help with my pick up order. I was told yes and then ignored. Another 5 mins go by and someone who came after me and was boisterous to staff was attended before me. Now, about 30 minutes after calling I again ask about my order. Much to my surprise my food was not prepared at all and not prepared freshly. Once I asked again they then started packing my order which was all from premade food trays. I’m not unreasonable, I know restaurants get busy, that’s good for our economy. I simply request that in the future if someone calls to place an order: 1. The order is actually placed. 2. A realistic time frame for pick up is given. 3. The food is prepared fresh. The only reason I took the time to write this is because ultimately the food wasn’t good. It was extremely greasy and a waste of time and money. 40 minutes to scoop food from a tray is unacceptable and does not reflect their good reviews.
ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE I had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant. We called twice to confirm our order since there was a language barrier, and they assured us everything was correct. They said order was ready and when we got there it still was not ready and it took another 20 minutes. After driving 30 minutes each way not only was there EXTRA WAIT TIME but the most expensive item was missing from our bag. When we called back, instead of taking responsibility, the staff told us to “come back and get it” with no regard for the hour-long commute. When I asked for a refund, they refused and claimed they are “not allowed” to refund — which is unacceptable for any business. It got to the point where I said I would call my bank for a refund, and the person on the phone became nasty and responded rudely, saying “do that but you will eat haram,” which was extremely offensive and unprofessional. As if holding my money without providing service is not haram. On top of the poor service, the food quality has also gone down tremendously. Between the missing items, lack of accountability, refusal to issue refunds, and rude behavior, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
What a terrible place to get the food! Just for your information, these guys do not follow hygiene practices, and they're overpriced. I ordered a qeema Naan, and the guy came from outside and didn't care to wash his hands and proceeded with the qeema Naan. when I asked him to wash his hands only, then he washed his hands. When he made the order, I went home there was literally no qeema inside the naan, and they charge $8.00 for each Naan. And I'm someone who's been going there ever since this place came into existence. Will not go there ever again!
