I read other really good reviews about this place before choosing to dine here. I am so grateful that I got to experience the architecture Ambience food and service that make this restaurant a favorite in Jacksonville. I had the salad bar which was delicious and salmon. Are server Stephanie was one of the best waitresses I have experienced she was extremely knowledgeable kind and came at the right time and made sure that all of our dining needs were met. I would definitely recommend this place.
We had such an amazing experience here! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. From the crispy Coconut Shrimp to the rich and creamy Lobster Risotto, the perfectly cooked Charter Prime Rib, and the flavorful Shrimp Carbonara. Each dish was spot on and exceeded our expectations. The cocktails were just as impressive. The Choreographed, Butterfly Effect, and Infused & Fogged were not only beautifully presented but also balanced and creative in flavor. A huge shoutout to our server, Jordan, who made the night even better. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and had such a warm personality. He truly elevated the entire experience, and we’ll definitely be requesting him when we come back. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Eating fast food during my workweek normally it was a welcome break to dine at the Chart House. Seated at a window table overlooking the St John’s River and the Jaguars Stadium was spectacular. The staff immediately made us feel at home, smiling faces and great service followed. The prime rib and creamed spinach were yummy as well. Beautiful presentation of the shrimp cocktail as seen in picture. Hats off to Joe our server!
Went here for my birthday yesterday and the place was incredible. Food was AMAZINGG and the staff is very welcoming. Their server, Jordan was an AMAZINGGG guy our whole time there. His energy was amazing and he did everything to make sure our time spent there wouldn’t go to waste. He deserves the world. Would 10/10 come back
First time here. This was our 47th Wedding Anniversary. The ambience and the service was great. My only take-away would be the portion sizes.
Visiting from out of state. We were looking for a good seafood place, and man this hit the spot! I had two drinks myself. The blackberry mule and mango mojito. Both delicious. So many wonderful food options. We were very happy with our food selection. The salad bar is an absolute must add addition. The fresh fruit was incredible! Alia was our server, and she was incredible. Personable. Very knowledgeable of the menu. If I were a local, I’d be back for sure. If you’re in the Jacksonville area, check this place out, and thank me later! ✨
My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here and had such an amazing experience! We made reservations so there was no wait at all. Our server was Taylor, who was very fun, kind, and informative. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations were spot on. I had the Key West Grouper and my boyfriend ordered the Shrimp and Lobster Carbonara which were both very tasty. The flavors of each dish were unique and creative. We also ordered mojitos (pomegranate and mango) which paired well with our dinner choices. What we appreciated the most was that Chart House went above and beyond in helping us celebrate. We had a table with a view of the river and downtown. We were very surprised but loved that staff made our night, by printing custom menus wishing us a happy anniversary. However, the icing on the cake was when Taylor surprised us with dessert on the house just for our special occasion. We are so happy to say that we will be back again soon!
The place is beautiful very clean. The staff is super friendly and the salad bar is amazing. I had the special which came with the prime rib. I have to say I didn’t like the meat, but the potatoes were amazing. My husband had a pasta with shrimp which was delicious. I would absolutely go again
Our server, Jordan, was great! Food was delicious, atmosphere was amazing! The only thing that surprised me was that the caviar was served with a silver spoon. I've always been told you shouldn't serve caviar with silver or metal.
We had reservations to the Chart House for Valentine’s Day. We had a 3 set course meal, the waitress name was Samantha she was Great if you go there ask for her. The first course was lobster bisque, the second course was Salmon,Shrimp,Crab avocado mango stack. The third course was Red velvet lava cake with vanilla ice cream. and the drinks were delicious. Then we took a walk at river walk it was beautiful at night. We recommend going you won’t be disappointed.
The Chart House chain is an old friend. I have been to many of their outlets, and Jacksonville did not disappoint. Food - excellent. The salad bar is still in operation, and it is a very good (and good value) way to start your meal. For the main I had the Prime Rib. It was excellent and cooked just right and with nice herb crust. The accompanying potatoes were also good. We had the traditional mud pie for desert, and it was even better than I remember. Service was friendly, but our server seemed to have something on his mind as he made a few errors with our order. Nothing that spoiled our visit, but I would expect more from the Chart House. The atmosphere was typical Chart House, and in this case it was quite dated. I felt like we were back in the 1980’s, and maybe we were, for just a short while. It was good to see the place busy, especially the bar. I rounded the overall rating up to a five due to the excellent prime rib and mud pie. They made up for any other small issues. I would definitely recommend the Jacksonville Chart House.
We have eaten at Chart House for our anniversary the last couple of years and it has always been great. The service and food are excellent. Good views of the river make for nice ambience.
Unforgettable Birthday Celebration at Chart House Our experience at Chart House was truly exceptional. They made my mom's birthday special and memorable with a personalized menu that catered to her tastes perfectly. Priscilla, our waiter, was attentive, friendly, and personable, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout the evening. The food was impeccable, with each dish beautifully presented and delicious. The attention to detail in both flavor and presentation was outstanding. The beautiful atmosphere of Chart House added to the overall experience, providing a perfect backdrop for our celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!
I had an excellent evening! The strip was wonderfully seasoned, I also tried the soufflé martini 10/10. Alia took care of everything I needed, she was very kind and pleasant. Despite this amazing experience the one word to describe this evening was hot. The entire restaurant including the bathroom felt very warm as if we were still outside . Overall perfect experience and great customer service.
My all time favorite resturant in Jax! Its an older establishment that I consider a hidden gem. It gets most packed during happy hour but clears out just as fast. Staff is always kind & welcoming. My spot is at the bar and I've known the bartenders for years. Drinks are always on point, and every item on the menu is fantastic. Every patron is always easy going & fun to talk to. I like to come by boat most of the time I come here. There is a floating dock a little ways down the Riverwalk.
Great restaurant, great atmosphere, awesome view, delicious food, exceptional service. I’ve been to the Chart House many times over the years and have never been disappointed. I was there tonight to celebrate my Birthday and once again the experience was amazing. Thank you to all the staff who helped make the evening so nice. Hope to be back soon.
Great place, awesome experience! The food so yummy for my tummy and service was amazing! Great place for a birthday celebration!
We had a fantastic experience at Chart House in Jacksonville during Sip and Stroll! Even with being part of a large group, the service was truly impressive. Our waiter was amazing—attentive, friendly, and handled the crowd effortlessly without missing a beat. It’s not easy to manage a big table during a busy event, but they made it feel seamless. The atmosphere, the views, and the service all came together for a really enjoyable evening. Highly recommend Chart House for both intimate dinners and group outings alike!
I had a great experience. The people around me were all happy except one couple. They didn't have a great experience. Mistakes happen. Management did the best they could, but what was really wrong was outside of the restaurant and more about other things. The couple who had the bad experience had other issues going on and it was, to them more in top of a pile. You can't fix the other items as a restauranteur. You can only work with what's in front of you. I hope that couple finds joy with all of what's going on. Yes there order was placed incorrectly. It was a clerical error and it was unfortunate it happened. I felt bad but I didn't let it steal my joy.
Perfect place for me and my girlfriend to celebrate our three year anniversary. The hostess up front was super nice and welcoming. Taylor was the best server we’ve ever had. He was on top of everything, super quick and nice, and helped answer all our questions thoroughly. The food was fantastic, we got the Key West Swordfish but did it with salmon instead, it was not too heavy and not too sweet like most places nowadays. Overall 5/5 stars we’d definitely be back again, thanks again Taylor for the great service 💯 (I hope I’m remembering his name right!)
We had our Thanksgiving dinner here. It was great. 9oz Filet for my wife. 14oz N.Y Strip Mashed potatoes Cream Spinach Coconut Shrimp Lobster Bisque Pecan pie Traditional Turkey with all the fixings Friday, Saturday! I am blessed 🙌 😇
My wife and I were celebrating our 30th Anniversary so we decided on this wonderful restaurant to dine. Burt our server was so awesome. He explained the specials, popular dishes, and the wine list. What was unexpected was that when I went to the awesome salad bar Burt would refold my knapkin! We were never rushed and were allowed to enjoy our celebration. Great atmosphere, service, food, and drink. The General Manager also greeted us with a special congrats on our anniversary! To make the evening more special you have to order the Lava Cake for two. Burt, and the staff made our celebration memorable. Thanks Chart House for a wonderful dinning experience!
My husband and I had a date night and we chose the Chart House for our reservation. Twenty-three years ago, we were there for New Year's Eve and that's where he proposed marriage. The service and food was great. We got Shrimp Cocktail, soup & salad, Prime Rib, Salmon and to end the evening Creme Brulee. That was the best Creme Brulee we've ever had. The decor was beautiful and they have updated the carpet.
We’ve eaten at a couple of Chart House restaurants and this is the first time I’ve rated them at anything other than five stars. Some context: We had a reservation at 9:15 p.m. on Christmas Eve, probably one of the last open seatings for an otherwise sold out night. But I assume for the reputation of the restaurant (and the price) we should have had better. First the drinks. My wife ordered a Cosmopolitan and I ordered a Zero Proof Cucumber and Honey. Somehow the Cosmo tasted like medicine and my drink wasn’t stirred, so the honey was in a clump at the bottom (and the first thing I tasted through the straw). Our waiter, Christian, who was awesome, took the drink back and replaced it with my wife’s request for a mixed berry Moscow Mule. It was a Moscow Mule, but no berries. But drinkable. We ordered coconut crunchy shrimp and fried green tomatoes as appetizers. Tomatoes were fine, but the shrimp were brown and overcooked. Bummer. But we didn’t say anything. Then we had Herb Crusted and Slow Roasted Prime Rib (chart house size) and the Mac Nut Mahi. The prime rib was great. The Ahi, sadly, seemed to lack herbs and was a rather flavorless. We didn’t say anything. We finished the night with lava cake and coffee and that was great. I really don’t like giving bad reviews, but for a $153.47 meal with tip (again, Christian was awesome), we expected better.
Valentines dinner was excellent, a little bit of hiccup with our food, but server and manager were excellent in taking care of everything plus little bit more. Our server Carol was exceptional. Everything was just great.
I love going to the Chart House. The food is always impeccably cooked and the sides are wonderful. The salad bar is great, if you have room for such nonsense after your giant delicious sizzling steak or filet. The portions are perfect. Not too much, not too little. The desserts are good enough to just about make you keel over and expire in place. I wouldn't ordinarily open up my wallet and say the Chart House has the BEST desserts, but it does come to mind. And no, their lava cake is not a gimmick. It's amazing! And don't forget the incredible service. The wait staff is excellent. Poised and ready to answer any questions you could ever think to ask. They even stay abreast with current events so you know what's going on as you look out their grandiose windows along the water. There were only two downs from the evening. The place was crazy loud. I mean, I've been in loud restaurants before but this occasion was physically painful to my ears loud. My wife and I marveled at the spectacle of noise. People talking over people, kids screaming, it was a lot of fun. Little bit of a downer. The other things was the coffee after dessert. It was not very good coffee. Almost tepid and had grounds in it. But it didn't wreck the evening. Not even close. I am still most impressed with the Chart House every time I get to go there and I look forward to coming back again soon. Next time I'll get a Sprite instead of a coffee though. And I might bring ear plugs.
Always a great experience when we go to Chart House! We try to stop in anytime we are in Jacksonville. We went after a Jaguars game and it was happy hr so we tried the apps and drinks on the happy hr menu! They were all great. The bartender was attentive and funny which was a plus! It was our first time at happy hr and in the bar area and we enjoyed ourselves!
oh my goodness the atmosphere was just beautiful. The waitress was awesome. The food was delicious and the drinks were unbelievable. I have to give them a five star all the way.❤️❤️❤️ thank you so much for your awesome service And please I cannot forget it’s right there by the river. It was so beautiful.❤️❤️❤️❤️ And thanks to Madison the waitress unbelievable thank you so much ♥️
I haven't been to the Chart House in decades. We had a company holiday dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our meals were delicious and having the salad bar was a nice treat as well. Of course we had to treat ourselves to the lava cake. Thank you for a memorable evening 😊
The manager was able to get us in very last minute. We had my brother's 50th birthday there. Everyone had a great time. The food was amazing. Service was excellent. We love celebrating all of our major celebrations at the Charthouse. We will definitely be back!
JD and Carole were wonderful. There attention to detail and friendly attitude made the Chart House are go to restaurant. Happy hour then dinner is an afternoon/evening to remember. The bar tender, Josh, is the best in all the places we eat and we fine dine 350 nights a year. Don't change, we truly enjoy our dining at the Chart House
The evening started off with a warm welcome by the host and the bartenders. Josh, Ian, and Patrick made sure our short wait was wonderful. Thank you all for helping me celebrate my birthday with a wonderful river view. Once seated Heather took over and kept the rest of the evening flowing smoothly and relaxing. The prime rib was both rare and tender. The mushrooms were spot on with flavor but not over-cooked. The Grouper was out of this world. Great job by everyone who served us. The reason for 4 stars was the lack of attention by the manager. Somehow he hit every table in our section, but not ours. Even though this has zero effect on most dining experience, I felt the need to draw attention to it. In closing I look forward to returning for another great meal at a really good price.
Jordan was amazing. Great service. The food was outstanding. The restaurant is old and the table we were sat at was terrible. Once again, Jordan was fantastic. The dress code was NOT adhered to. There was many men who dressed like they were going to steal and shake.
Food was great but menu descriptions need updating. First ingredient mentioned for crab cake was “brown butter corn”, but consisted of a handful of corn kernels scattered around the edges of the plate as decoration. First ingredient mentioned in beet appetizer was “goat cheese” but consisted of two thin smears on the bottom of the plate. The lobster bisque was delicious though. Highly recommend. And they bring bread to the table which is always nice. Servers and hosts were helpful and polite. No outdoor seating, but asked for a seat by the window which only was a 10 minute wait.
Shout out to Ethan! Great customer service skills. The ambiance is amazing! The place is beautifully decorated on the outside and inside. Great happy hour selections, and the drinks were tasty. My favorite was the coconut shrimp. I ended up getting two orders. The crab cakes were not on the happy hour menu anymore, but my group still got it to try it. I've had better. I prefer mine crisper and seasoned. They definitely didn't skimp with the crab. But I would not add corn to the dish. (My preference) The drinks were worth it. $8 mango mojitos had me feeling nice!!
The Chart House was recommended during my stay in Jacksonville, Florida. I absolutely love the views, and the ambience of the restaurant is wonderful. The service was also impeccable! Our table had a variety of dishes to include everything from seafood to steak. The steak was ordered as a medium and it definitely came out on the rare side. I think this is unfortunate for a steakhouse. Temperature for steak is pretty standard and there was a significant difference in what was ordered and what arrived. I enjoyed my fish but it lacked seasoning/flavor. Presentation for everything was top-tier. I did enjoy the molten chocolate cake, I think I’ll definitely be back for that!
It was a good dining experience overall. I had the lobster bisque and the New York strip. The bisque was delicious. The char on the strip was amazing but for medium rare it was pretty tough. The calamari was delicious as well. Suzanna our server was exceptional. The location and building itself was very impressive. This was my 1st time at the Chart House and I will definitely be back for more. 4 Stars across the board is a good and fair score for a 1st visit I am definitely more critical reviewing fine dining restaurants. Not the same caliber as Oceanaire but better than Longhorn
I ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp. The salad was a small portion but came in a tasty little cheese bowl. The hostess was very nice.
We had a craving for prime rib yesterday and the Chart House hit thr spot. The steak its self was beautiful, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Giant baked potato was also delish. Will go back. Parking was easy, service helpful and appropriate timing of everything.
Nice atmosphere on the river. Salad bar was lack luster. Parmesan Cesar salad had way too much dressing and the Parmesan bowl was tough and dry. We both had the Chilean sea bass with lobster risotto which was very nice. The wait staff was very pleasant. I forgot the bread, stale and dry.
Our meal here unfortunately became a let down for my dad’s birthday dinner. We’re from out of town, and Chart House had been recommended to me. With it having views of the river, this was a top pick for us, but we wish we had gone somewhere else. Our waitress, Connie, disappeared for long periods of time and really didn’t have much of a personality - we asked her to take a group picture and she said she’d be back to take it, then didn’t return until it was time to drop off the food, so we grabbed a different waitress who gladly took it for us. The salad bar was over priced, the selection wasn’t great, and the Caesar salad was soggy because the dressing was already on it. The other appetizers, entrees, and drinks were overall good, but dessert was honestly an embarrassment. The mini lava cake that came with my prix fixe meal wasn’t warm at all (they said they needed a half hour notice on their lava cakes - is it to defrost from frozen?? Where was the lava?), and my dad, whose birthday we were celebrating, chose the Creme Brûlée tasting. After my lava cake showed up, Connie came back to inform him they were out, but he was able to do a normal Creme Brûlée. He regretted ordering that as it wasn’t even cooked thoroughly and was greasy. We sent it back because we didn’t want him eating uncooked egg and Connie even recognized it wasn’t right. We also were disappointed that they didn’t even put a candle in his crème brûlée since they knew we were there for his birthday and we even notated it on the reservation. She also forgot my husband’s espresso. To top it off, the lights kept flickering and it was very annoying. I expected a better fine dining experience for the price we paid and will not be planning to visit any of their other locations.
It is a beautiful restaurant, with the best view to the river near the downtown. The service was ok and the server was nice, but the food wasn't excellent as I was expecting and we have to wait a lot for the food and for my drinks. The manager came and brought the food to my family, as the returned the plates for uncooked reasons and the man was a gentleman very proper.
Underwhelming for the price I’ve lived in Jacksonville for about three years now and have always heard great things about Chart House, so I finally booked a reservation for my husband’s birthday. The atmosphere and waterfront view are definitely the highlight—the building has a really cool design and the setting is beautiful. Unfortunately, the food and service didn’t live up to the hype. The drinks were just okay, and our mussel appetizer looked lazily plated with a watery sauce. The side options felt minimal and basic. I ordered the sea bass, which was actually pretty good, but my husband was disappointed with his lobster and vegetables. For the price point, we expected much better execution and presentation. They also randomly served us a bread basket that came out about 20 minutes AFTER our appetizer came out, so I’m not sure if that was the first thing that was supposed to come out while we waited, and the waitress just forgot about it? Our reservation was at 6:45 PM and we didn’t get our entrées until around 8, with service that was just average throughout the night. Overall, the experience felt underwhelming for what we paid. I’m glad we finally got to try this iconic Jacksonville spot, and the view alone makes it worth going once—but we won’t be returning. The food was not bad, there was just nothing that stood out. There are several nearby restaurants with more creative menus, better plating, and higher quality food for the same (or lower) price.
We celebrated a birthday dinner at this location. We were seated in time with the reservation. The server greeted us well. However, the evening went downhill from there. After spending $400+, we would have expected more. The refilled of the drinks was late. Appetizers were not delivered at the same time and should have considering they were both cold selections, hummus plate and raw oysters. The entrees toke another hour to arrive at the table. The entrees arrived, yet the server did not check back and we needed a couple of items. Bread was offered to appease the wait. We were upsold on the dessert. However, after notifying the restaurant in advance that this was a special birthday, you some what expect a little more than a generic card left in the wine menu. What if we never opened that menu? This is a beautiful location on the river. And this experience was not even close to the outstanding meals we have had there over years. Disappointing.
I stopped by Chart House shortly after leaving surgery at a nearby hospital because I needed to grab a meal quickly and comfortably. We ordered the prime rib, meatballs, the salad bar, and an iced tea. I want to start by saying our server was very kind and attentive — no complaints there at all. He was courteous and professional throughout the visit. That said, the overall experience didn’t match the pricing. The iced tea was $5 and was extremely diluted — it honestly looked more like water than tea. The salad bar, priced at $15 as a side, was fairly basic and underwhelming. It consisted mostly of different types of lettuce with a few toppings like peppers, olives, and capers — nothing particularly special for the price. To be candid, there are casual dining places that offer more variety for less, which made this feel disappointing as a premium add-on. The biggest letdown was the prime rib. While at the salad bar, I noticed the plate sitting in the service window and mentioned it to our server, who said they were still working on it. After about 10 minutes, it finally arrived, but unfortunately it was lukewarm and the potatoes were cold. For a $40 entrée, I expected the food to arrive hot and fresh. Our total bill came to around $100, and while I truly don’t mind paying higher prices for quality dining, I do expect the food temperature, presentation, and overall experience to reflect that level. In this case, the value simply didn’t align with the cost. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the location has great potential and the staff was friendly. With some improvements in food quality control and attention to detail, the experience could better match the premium pricing. I also want to note that there were only one of us eating in the party of two So this was a price for one person
This is the first review I had to pray about before posting. To say I was disappointed is putting it mildly. The only thing good was the view. The Chart House by the river in downtown Jacksonville needs to work on bookings. We had a reservation at 8 pm for 12 but only had 10 guest. We were cramped at table for 8 by a huge pole. We were seated around 8:10. Drink orders were taken right away. Drinks came around 15 minutes later. We said we needed a few minutes to look at the menu. A few minutes turned into over 30 minutes. I saw our waitress walking back and forth to four tables right in front of me. Never once came and said are you ready. Two of our guest were smart and ordered the salad bar. To make a long story short we were served after 10 pm. They close at 10. The GM JD compt a few meals. All meals should've been heavly discounted. I asked for a military discount. I didn't receive a discount. I should've had to ask. I did ask for a free dessert. The picture is below of how it looked when I arrived at my house. Chart House needs to reserve the area near the window for big parties. It's a straight line. If the Chart House can't handle big parties they need to stop. My receipt was wrong 3 times. I finally went to the register myself to make sure it was rung up correctly. $$$ Ive had better service at every Long Horn I've been to. We've had 20 people with Long Horn and did not have an issue. This was my first time at the Chart House. I wasn't impressed at all. The prime rib and potatoes had no seasoning. The lobster bisque was good. It took over an hour an a half to receive our food. People read the reviews for big parties before you go.
Very disappointed. We arrived and were greeted immediately then we sat down. That was great. Then it just went downhill. The service started out good but it was off. We were given a cocktail menu, and when we asked about non-alcoholic drinks, the server who happened to be a bartender also, looked confused. Turned us off so we decided to just get waters. Then when we got the menu, it was basically dropped off. No description or recommendations. Here is a menu. Good luck. Nothing about hey here are some recommendations you might like… We ordered food and the food took 32 minutes to arrive. Luckily we had opted in for the salad bar so weren’t too hungry. When food arrived, the food runner says: Can you cut your steak to see if we cooked it the way you wanted it? I was thrown off because they should have a system for that?? called a food thermometer but i complied anyways. Then the server and everyone forgot about us for 30-40 minutes. No drink refills, no check ups, nothing. Sadly Another server from another table saw how were just sitting there getting annoyed, our drinks weren’t refilled, so she came over cuz she probably felt bad and helped with that. When finally our actual server who had forgotten about us, came to our table, I decided to tell her that we have been here for TWO hours. We arrived at 4:32 and it was 6:34 . She defends herself by saying “yeah as you can see we have been busy, and have a full restaurant.” You charge $48 for a pretty average not-aged steak and thats your excuse? If you know you can’t serve the customer, You could have said sorry we are at capacity. Chart house has positioned itself as a fine-dining brand, but that service was pretty aweful. Probably will never return.
we spent our 3rd wedding anniversary at Chart House last night, and unfortunately we’re less than impressed with our experience. all of the staff was kind and our waiter, Patrick, was attentive and gave a great wine recommendation. we ordered the meatballs for a starter and they were very dry and crusty on the outside but overly mushy inside. For meals, my husband ordered the shrimp linguine and i had the prime rib. both dishes lacked flavor, and my side mashed potatoes were cold and very sweet (?). our course came with the mini lava cakes, which i could sum up to a box brownie with heath bar crumbled on top and a scoop of ice cream. the brownie and chocolate on top were not warm either. the view is beautiful, especially to watch the sun set over Jacksonville. we were exceedingly disappointed to pay such a high price for a meal that neither of us had any interest in finishing. beautiful location and kind staff, but we won’t be back.
Ordered uber eats a medium steak and a prime rib. Steak was well done. How does a restraunt of this spendyness not cook steaks to the correct temp, and its not it cooked after off grill, because it has dark grill chars like it was forgotten about and it is dry. Very dissapointed. Potatoes were great and prime rib because a different person cooked those. This is like a first time chef cooked this. I haven't treated myself for a while and this is what happens when I do. Not one spec of juice in this overcooked mess they call a steak.
If I could leave a negative star I would! It was my daughter’s birthday and we decided to try this place out. Big mistake!!! The waitress was terrible, the food was tasteless and on top of that we waited 40 minutes to get it! The waitress seemed to have an attitude like we were bothering her that we were there. She never asked if we wanted another drink or anything else to drink. She didn’t check in us while we waited. The food came out after 40 minutes and it was completely seasoning free. My daughter whose birthday it was gave her food back didn’t get anything else and was still charged for her dessert! I had the salmon that was crunchy on the bottom and dry, but after waiting so long I tried to get it down(left more than half on the plate) The rice was mushy and crunchy, how does that even happen?! My other daughter and boy friend had the steak, medium well. They say cut the center and check the temp. Then the center is the only part that’s right and the rest was well done. The mashed potatoes that they gave her with the steak were old. How do we know that you ask? Because they had a crust like texture on top that they tried to cover with chives! We have eaten at many places all over Jax and this was by far the worst place we have been to in a very long time!
