Absolutely amazing. My partner and I went here to celebrate his new job and this visit was nothing short of amazing. Kirsten, our server, was incredibly attentive, I swear I couldn’t finish a single glass of water before it was refilled. The food was amazing, we ordered the Crudo Tasting as well as a few other pieces of sashimi and nigiri. Everything was phenomenal. 10/10 We can’t wait to come back for the Omakase experience!

Norikase sets a new standard for high-end, modern, and gourmet sushi in Jacksonville!! Every aspect of this restaurant reflects a commitment to excellence — from the attentive, professional staff to the meticulous detail in every dish. I had the pleasure of experiencing their Omakase, and I have to say: it was worth every single penny. Each course was an elegant work of art, prepared with visible skill, care, and passion right in front of us. The entire experience felt on par with a Michelin-star level restaurant. The atmosphere only adds to the experience, with a bar program that is easily one of the best in Jacksonville. The cocktails are crafted with precision and creativity — a true highlight of the evening. Norikase is everything you could hope for in a fine dining sushi experience and more. It deserves to be recognized among Jacksonville’s finest! A special thank you to the wonderful staff who made the night unforgettable — to Jorge, the mastermind behind the bar, and to Chefs Francis and Joseph for their artistry and hospitality.

Probably in the top 5 restaurants in Jacksonville. Make a reservation... The restaurant itself is great, we had a booth for two and they are very comfortable. There was some background music but at the perfect level where it's not to loud or to quiet. The place is staffed very well, and the food and drinks come out on time. The crudo platter was amazing and I've been thinking about the Sushi ever since eating it. The Toru Sashimi was so delicious. It is pricey and 20% gratuity is included in the bill but it's worth it.

I celebrated my 40th birthday here with 34 guests and had an amazing experience! I was able to reserve the entire outdoor patio, which made the celebration feel private and intimate. The service was excellent, and the food was phenomenal — everyone had a great time. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful space for larger gatherings or special occasions. Shout out to Emily and Michael for making sure everything went smoothly 🎉

There are not enough words to say about this place. The service is TOP tier. The drinks? Incredible. The food.. mouth watering. Fresh. Beautiful. This is a Michelin star restaurant without the price or dress code!!! 10/10 reccomend.

The Omakase was one of the best meals I ever had. It was difficult to hear my partner over my groans of pleasure from each bite! The sushi chef was knowledgeable and had amazing technique. The menu he curated was unforgettable. Uni, truffles, caviar, A5 wagyu! And so many different kinds of fish!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The food was imaginative, fresh, and above and beyond my expectations. I will be back time and time again. 10/10 flawless service and food.

I had the 17 course Omikase tasting experience with the wine pairing last night. Chef Akira was absolutely amazing and every course was divine. The service was impeccable and the wine paired beautifully with each course. The atmosphere was relaxing and jovial. My daughter and I truly enjoyed every second of the tasting. It was an intimate experience with a handful of other people. It was honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life. While it was definitely pricey, it was worth every penny. I will absolutely return for the summer tasting menu. A must try if you love sushi.

Norikase is an artistic, chic, modern spin on Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere is elegant, evoking a modern downtown Tokyo vibe with dark tones and neon lights, reminiscent of the city’s nightlife. The food itself is pure art and absolutely exquisite. Perhaps the best sushi I’ve had in my life! Each dish was carefully curated and balanced with complex flavors that pair perfectly. The sushi itself melts in your mouth. Whether it’s a date night, celebration, or just a night out with friends, Norikase is the perfect destination for an impeccable meal and a great time. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Wow - what a great find. We were in Jacksonville for work and decided to look for a sushi restaurant. We stumbled upon Norikase and were glad we did! We were originally bummed that we couldn’t do Omakase on a Tuesday, but we were blown away by the regular dinner menu. We started with some happy hour appetizers and cocktails. We moved onto the Crudo Sampler and it was the highlight of the meal! Everything was so fresh. We had a variety of other nigiri and maki rolls, plus a sake sampler. We ordered way too much food, but enjoyed every bite of it. Service was excellent and well-versed on the menu. We will certainly return again in the near future to try the Omakase. Make sure you splurge on the A5 Wagyu Nigiri! For two people with the service charge, we spent about $440, however you could certainly take advantage of the happy hour deals and spend much less.

This was my first time here, and it was a wonderful experience. My friend Maddie has been here numerous times, and it felt like special treatment! Everyone working was so kind, and the manager was especially attentive. Although expensive, totally worth it. You get what you pay for and more!

happy hour is 5-7, with select apps and sushi discounted. we went and still ordered a bunch of the main menu. freshest ikura i've had in jax! all the fish tasted clean and fresh. a great spot for a special occasion or a nice indulgent dinner. drinks are amazing too, truly handmade cocktails.

Norikase is a true culinary gem. Every dish was bursting with flavor from the perfectly executed sushi to the rich, delicate omakase courses. The fish was incredibly fresh, the textures and seasoning on point. The staff made the experience seamless, and the cocktails were creative and delicious. Elegant, intimate, and absolutely unforgettable. A must visit in Jacksonville.

Amazing sushi restaurant with very helpful and attentive staff. Really enjoyed the fatty tuna sushi. They also have some very tasty cocktails and non alcoholic drinks. The best seat in the place is in front of the sushi bar. We loved watching them make the sushi and other entrees. We arrived early as we did not have a reservation and we're able to get in. I do recommend calling ahead a day or two to get a reservation. Don't forget to try the dessert .. we really liked the bread pudding and ice cream. Overall, The food was excellent and staff was pleasant. Plenty of parking as well.

I went for the first time for my birthday and it was beyond my expectations. Our server Michael was incredible. He gave us his recommendations for food and drinks and we pretty much ordered most of and it was delicious. Other staff members were just amazing. The best birthday dinner ever. Overall I am definitely coming back again. Thank you!!

WOW WOW WOW…. This past Saturday was our first experience at Norikase… we decided to do the 17 course Omakase tasting menu… Let me start by saying if you have never experienced this you must!!! Every single dish was not only beautiful but the flavors were perfectly balanced! The chefs and bar tender were top notch! You could see the passion beaming from them as they described and served each dish! What an absolutely incredible experience!!!

Not sure what was better, the food or the service! They’re located in a very unassuming place for the quality of service and vibes they provide. They have a great happy hour too! Our waters never fell below half a cup and our server was super attentive. All of our food was amazing, no complaints. Definitely recommend trying this place for your next date night or just any night! We can’t wait to go back.

"What a treat!" Did I pay for it? Yes! Worth it? Yes! If you are looking for top quality, fresh, tasty and variety, head in, sit down, be treated well and enjoy! From door to door, the service was fantastic as well.

We came in for another Omakase experience. I'm blown away every single time we come here. The drinks are always good, and the food is phenomenal. I would argue that this is the best food in Jacksonville. It's hands down the best sushi.

Coming from the west coast, we eat a ton of sushi and have been to so many places - Norikase is one of the best and deserves to have a Michelin star. Our waitress was so kind and welcoming, the cocktails were great, and the food was impeccable. I would definitely recommend the kaarage and edamame, all the raw/crisp dishes were top notch, and probably the best lamb we’ve ever had. The quality of their sashimi is amazing, definitely a must stop.

This place is such a hit or miss. Today- it got its 5 stars. When they first had their soft opening in 2021, I want to say.. it was outstanding. Seriously, I will never forget the miso beurre blanc salmon with fried rice risotto… just wow. So delicious. We went with a group of friends that was fantastic as well. Then it went down each visit to the point where we stopped going and hadn’t been in a year because the experience was just- bad. Well, today we decided to give it another shot since we know the menu is seasonal and hoping they had fixed their service experience from a year ago. This time we decided to sit at the bar top watching the food made. We will forever do this. We had an absolutely amazing time. Nothing we had was bad. Everything was delicious, FANTASTIC, fresh, drinks were good, service was great. Very happy!! Great time. I hope it continues for the next visit!

Nothing we had for dinner was below a 9/10 in quality and flavor. Our server made sure our experience was above expectations, even when some items were out of stock. The fatty tuna was one of the best cuts I've ever had. This spot is a usual for my family, who are local, but as an out-of-towner, I'll 100% be trying to visit again before I leave.

My first time here I did the omakase experience and it was absolutely AMAZING! The chef was very professional but great to have a conversation with. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I don’t think my words are enough to justify the quality of this place and the experience. Very beautiful layout of the inside and there was a fire show was well, I was there on a Friday if that matters. 10000/10 would recommend! ** I added as much pictures as I could remember to take.**

We did the 17 course experience summer menu and it was absolutely incredible! The only other omakase experience we’ve had was in Tokyo and this certainly was on the same level! Amazing and we will be back for our next special occasion!

My friend Sharon Marks Folkner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Norikase Restaurant in Jacksonville, and we had an absolutely fabulous experience. I started with their Nori Old Fashioned Cocktail - Mars Iwai Japanese Whiskey, house spiced Demera, umami bitters. She had the “Don’t Break My Heart” cocktail - Haku Japanese Vodka, Yuzu, Lychee, Strawberry, Raspberry, and Cranberry. Wonderfully delicious and artistically presented. We started our meal with their edamame with garlic butter, which was a delightful and flavorful beginning. For our entrées, we enjoyed the Luxury Roll, which featured blue crab, salmon, bluefin tuna, and truffle—each bite was a taste of luxury. The Silken Jewel was another highlight of our meal, with otoro, ossetra caviar, and gold. The combination of these exquisite ingredients created an unforgettable dining experience. Norikase has certainly become my favorite spot for sushi in the Jacksonville area. Our server, Emilie, was warm, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. She truly made our experience something special, providing top-notch service throughout the evening. The atmosphere at Norikase is trendy and beautifully decorated. The use of various colors and textures throughout the restaurant creates a stunning aesthetic that enhances the overall dining experience. If you are in the Jacksonville area and you enjoy sushi, then Norikase is a must-try destination. Take my word for it—you won’t be disappointed!

Jorge!!! Phenomenal service!! Amazing recommendations. The coconut king salmon wa so good. I ordered it twice!! Great drinks. Thank you for a great celebratory dinner! Will be back! ———— Great experience with Shabby. Phenomenal service. Great happy hour. Delicious high quality sushi. The scallop roll was one of my favorite but the surf and turf with wagu beef was a close second. I enjoyed the sweet potato creme brûlée. A couple options of cooked sushi. Delicious drinks. I enjoyed the French 75.

My second time here. A great experience that makes you feel like you're not in Jacksonville! As soon as you walk in the door you're met with impeccable professionalism. All of the staff are SO nice and knowledgeable. They serve small plates only so do keep that in mind. Most plates are not for sharing. This last visit (tonight 4.8.23), our server was Mike and he was fantastic! So much so that we will request him at our next visit if possible. The food and drinks are delicious and it's truly an experience. You have to love the fine art of food to appreciate this place. We will definitely continue to patronize this excellent restaurant. So glad to have this level of dining available in Jax! Some notes: this is a pricier place; I wouldn't bring kids; it's in a plaza so parking can be a bit tight; don't expect fast service; don't come here expecting a full meal; it's not very spacious, very intimate

I have so many great things to say about my experience here that I don’t even know where to start! Service: Exceptional! I took my friend here for her birthday and we were taken care of by Mike who personally went above and beyond for us! We were treated SO well here. And Mike was so knowledgeable about everything on the menu and had a true passion for the food, everything he recommended we loved. He was so patient and didn’t rush us which I really appreciated. Although the food was incredible he was really what made our night! We also had a few other people who would help out and refill our water or bring us our food and they were lovely too (shoutout to the really pretty, bubbly girl who was so sweet, I didn’t catch her name unfortunately). Food: high quality, amazing flavors. Everything came out so beautiful and was so delicious! Nice portion sizes. Lots of variety. Atmosphere: STUNNING. They have multiple sections that are all gorgeous. The ambiance was immaculate. I had a 10/10 experience here and I cannot wait to go back and try the other things on the menu!

This is by far one of the most upscale restaurant in jax. Great athmosfere and vibe ! The sushi was amazing and drinks very good too. I had a bottle of sake and it was great. The head bartender Jorge was very helpful and professional. Great place.. Please keep in mind that it is VERY EXPENSIVE ! If you can afford and dont mind the $300 dolars bill for two people you will love this place.

Originally had reservations to a different spot! Was so glad that we switched to this spot! Definitely a great decision on our part! Plenty of parking, which is always a bonus when going to “fancy” places! The outside of the place is very unassuming, but don’t let that deter you from trying this spot. Once you enter through those doors, you are instantly transformed to a different place! The decor and the ambiance is extremely chill and elevated! Lots of IG worthy pics will be taken here! The food we had was extremely flavorful! The quality of the ingredients were top-notch and fresh! The Crudo options they have didn’t miss at all! In simpler terms, just try it all!!! Service was more than excellent!!! Our server, Michael was an absolute gem! Very informative, attentive, and friendly! Made us feel like we are extremely important, even if the dining room was packed on a Saturday night! Will definitely return to try the omakase!

Great time, glad we tried! My friend and I decided to try Norikase during my visit to Jacksonville and I'm so glad we went! Prices are decent for the product offered, though, like most sushi places, prepare to spend $$$-$$$$. Drinks were delicious - I did a Tokyo Mule and it was spicy and gingery. The sushi was great. We got the Spicy Tuna and the Aburi Sake, which were great! Highly recommend. The Luxury role was nice, but a bit earthy for my taste. We splurged on the Wagyu sashimi, so good, too. I'm not new to Wagyu beef, and I thought the preparation was just perfect for the bite. Finally, the creme Brule was 10/10, so yummy. Our server, Sam, was the absolute sweetest. She checked on us and kept our waters full and gave good suggestions. Very good experience. I mentioned the luxury role wasn't super exciting, but the Blueberry Smoked Himachi may have been a bit too exciting. We weren't big fans. We were also sat in the back of the restaurant but not outside, and that area has significantly less ambiance than the front or patio. We did the happy hour at the bar before dinner and, while it's beautiful, the chairs were uncomfortable and tough to get in and out of, and the service was rushed.

Second time doing the 17 course omakase here - the service is top notch along with the seasonally curated menu. The tuna tartare on Japanese shokupan was our favorite dish! Chef Akira is so personable and clearly passionate about what he does. Pictures don’t do it justice!

I had an amazing experience Friday @ Norikase and I can’t wait to return. Everything was top tier from the food to the service to the vibe!!!

The omikase experience with chef Akira Kimura was outstanding. It's so fresh, well presented, and absolutely delicious! The fish was of the best quality and melts in your mouth. Each piece was perfect, but the chefs signature seabass course was worth the drive alone. Highly suggest trying this for the whole experience and amazing food.

Best sushi in all of Jacksonville. They have the best quality of fish in town. You can have a casual meal there as well as something my friends and I call “the Tokyo experience” where you have a 17 course meal and the head chef creates and describes every dish right in front of you. They also have great craft cocktails. Expensive evening but worth it.

We came here on Valentine’s Day and the service and experience was amazing!! The staff very professional and friendly. The meal was very well planned and matched the occasion perfectly. Mike and his staff provided such a great experience. Even if not for the a meal we will be back for drinks at the bar.

If you’re looking for a birthday dinner that feels truly special, 13-course omakase is the way to go. From the moment we sat down, the team made the evening feel celebratory without ever being over-the-top. Every course was a tiny work of art. Highlights for me: Toro nigiri—melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly balanced. Seasonal sashimi flight—delicate slices that tasted like the ocean in the best way. A warm, umami-packed miso broth served mid-meal that refreshed the palate for the final bites. The pacing was spot on: just enough time to savor each piece while still keeping the excitement for what was next. The chefs explained the ingredients and origin of each fish with genuine enthusiasm, which added so much to the experience. Ambiance-wise, the café strikes that sweet spot between upscale and intimate. Lighting was soft, the counter seating let us watch the precision knife work up close, and the background music stayed pleasantly low. For a birthday dinner, it felt like the perfect combination of luxury and warmth. Price-wise, it’s definitely a splurge, but every bite—and the personal attention—makes it worthwhile. Bottom line: If you’re celebrating a special occasion in Jacksonville and love sushi, book the 13-course omakase at Norikase. It’s a memory you’ll talk about long after the candles are blown out.

This spot is stunningly decorated—perfect for date nights, celebrations, or just hanging out with friends. The bar is spacious with plenty of seating, making it easy for walk-ins to settle in. We ordered maki and sashimi, and they were among the best we’ve had in Jax. The total price includes tip, which makes for a smooth checkout experience. Cocktails were artfully crafted and delicious, though service could be a bit quicker when it comes to getting drinks to the table.

My husband and I decided on date night at Norikase. The atmosphere was nice, and we decided to make reservations for the patio. While it was a cool night here in Jax, 50 degrees range, and the restaurant had huge heaters on the patio. We ordered a few items from the menu. The food overall was great, I would say that the food is extremelyoverpricedd for certain items. We travel the world and have enjoyed sushi in some of the greatest countries, I will say that Norikase has some of the best sushi I have had in Jacksonville. While some portions are small and overpriced, the food overall was great. If you are looking for an experience I would suggest this restaurant.

My boyfriend and I went here this past weekend. We were visiting JAX for a friend's wedding and we are foodies. He has been craving beef tartare, I’m a sushi fanatic and we love supporting small businesses (not chains) so this seemed like a great place to try. We made an online reservation on open table. We attempted to book the Omakase experience (13-17 chef selected course) but they were booked up for the night. They said they are usually a month or so booked out for this experience, so if you’re interested, book early. We booked the chefs counter for 7:45pm because we go to Michelin star restaurants and love watching them cook and plate the meals in front of us. We figured it would be just as enjoyable here. When we arrived (around 7:40pm), we checked in with the hostess, gave our name and our booking time. She took us to a table and I said “We reserved the chefs counter.” She said “ Oh let me check.” She then stated “Yes you’re right, sorry about that. Would you like to wait for the chefs counter to be vacant or would you like to sit here?” My boyfriend and I asked how long the wait would be for the counter, since we made a reservation for 7:45, and it was already 7:40. She said “Since the counter is currently full, I’m unsure how long it will be until one of those tables gets up.” There were only 6 stools up at the counter, so we decided we would just sit at the table and not wait since there was no ETA given. The table was more of a padded and cushioned booth and it was extremely comfortable. Our server was Emily and she was phenomenal. She went over the menu with us, answered our questions, gave us some recommendations, was attentive, friendly and really paid attention to our needs. We ordered the Chisai tori (bird shape cup) and don’t break my heart (mushroom shape cup) for drinks to start. They were excellent. My boyfriend also ordered the nori fashioned and the summer thyme in Okinawa. We got the wagyu tartare with the caviar appetizer. It was the best beef tartare my boyfriend said he has ever had. I trust his opinion because he eats all his beef rare, is extremely picky about his meat, is a wonderful cook and is constantly on the carnivore diet. It was the third time I’ve had beef tartare and it was extremely tasty. The second item we ordered was the akami (Emily’s recommendation) on the crudo menu and it was delicious. The chili/soy dipping sauce it came in was awesome, we used it to dip our sushi in. The akami was tender, fresh and melted in your mouth. We got two maki rolls: the surf & turf and the luxury roll. The surf and turf roll was exquisite. It reminded me of a lightly deep fried roll I have enjoyed in the past and I dipped it in their spicy mayo. The spicy mayo was heavy on the sriracha and had a kick, but I enjoyed it. The luxury roll melted in my mouth with freshness and it paired great with the sauce served with the crudo dish. My only complaint for this restaurant was the mushroom risotto with scallops. We are risotto and scallop connoisseurs so we had extremely high hopes due to all the other dishes being so great. It came out, we both tried one bite and were disappointed. The risotto had no flavor and was extremely bland. The scallops were tender, but were extremely small in size and tasted dried out as if they were not cooked in much butter and then sat out before being brought to our table. We told Emily we were not happy with the meal. She instantly apologized, said she would make the chef aware and would take it off our bill. We said we wanted to try the Japanese A5 wagyu hot stone, to replace the risotto. This came out with thin slices, a beautiful hot stone to cook it on, some Wagyu fat to be used as butter on the stone, sea salt and some other spices for seasoning. The Wagyu was tender, melted in your mouth and I wanted more once it was gone. To end the experience, they had a fire dancer perform and she was great.

Enjoyed a nice dinner here. I’d recommend going during happy hour as there are a decent amount of dishes you can choose from that are a few bucks cheaper than the regular menu. We selected a wide variety of options to have a lot to try and my highlights were the surf + turf roll (fav!), crispy brussel sprouts, A5 nigiri, and toro nuta. Dinged it down to a 4 because we felt rushed even though it wasn’t full by any means. Servers kept coming to check or take away plates and one time she picked up the plate before we were finished so we had to ask for it to be put back down.

For me this is a one and done type of restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and everyone was nice. It’s a seasonal menu- we ate here in January and it was still the fall menu… It’s more of an experience. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Then there’s a mandatory 20% SERVICE charge no matter the group size. If you have an extra 100+ to spend try it out.

This place is great if you're looking for an urban-like club lounge bar that happens to serve sushi, where you can show off your best club wear and side eye those dressing less than you. As an omakase spot, and having dined in many NYC omakase, this spot leaves plenty to desire. As a couple of patrons that reserved a spot for over 175 a head (+ auto 20% gratuity) for an omakase experience, the front reception was uncharacteristically chilly and inadequate. We waited over 15 minutes for someone, I felt like we were treated like other clubgoers trying to get into an exclusive spot, we started off on a bad foot there. Eventually recognized as VIP, we were led to a private-ish dining area cordoned off by soft black curtains. We were "comped" 2 cocktails for the mess in the front, that they ironically still charged me 5 bucks for at the end of the night. The chefs were skilled, friendly, and entertaining; although I couldn't really hear them explaining the delicacies of each piece with the club music blaring behind me, quiet ambiance not provided. The servers operate like a standard sushi restaurant, fine dining service this is not. Dishes were creative and presents beautifully, though the sushi fish could be fresher, and sadly many of the toppings overpowered rather than complementing the taste of the fish itself. The non sushi dishes were more interesting, stealing the spotlight from the sushis. Frankly, I blame the ingredients and lack of competition in this town, we were left disappointed in our experience for a taste away from NYC being stationed in Jacksonville.

Appetizers were great. Service didn’t meet the expectations. The main dish took 40 minutes to be served. No apologies no nothing. That was disappointing. Sushi rolls were good but nothing extraordinary. Same with tiramisu, oh well. We wanted to be in and out in 1 hour, service took so long the whole dinner was almost 2 hours long.

Very nice atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. The fish was really nice but they overdid some of the dishes. Sometimes simple is better. The portions were also really small. We had the spicy tuna roll that one was my favorite , the aburi sake which was torched for some reason kinda ruined it for us, the luxury roll my least favorite but my husband’s favorite , we also had 8 salmon rolls, 2 hamachi and 2 madai all nigiri style. That seems like a lot but we were still left with wanting more food. Overall I think the price is a little high for the portion and the extra things added on the fresh fish ruined the experience . We spent $200 but if you want to feel full you might want to double that. My least favorite part was the wasabi : even thought we paid extra for the freshly grated wasabi it was tasteless, had no fragrance and had zero bite. I wouldn’t go again but I don’t regret the experience. If you want to impress a date it could be a nice experience but be ready to spend quite a bit for not that great of a comparison to an average sushi joint.

Went here for Omakase for my friend’s bday dinner. The food was fantastic. Unfortunately, the allowed a couple to bring their infant (maybe a couple months old) to the bar for omakase and it screamed literally nonstop all night right next to me while mom and dad switched off to go in the bathroom with it occasionally. We spent over $500 and made reservations well in advance, and I just don’t get why this was ok for the other 7 people who paid for the experience. I emailed the business and got zero response. The food was really the only good thing. The server went missing for long stretches and we were looking for her for drinks. It was a weird experience because they act like it’s really high end when you get there but then you go in the bathroom and it’s like a gas station bathroom with fancy soap and inattentive servers. Just be normal and let us enjoy the chef’s food in peace.

Sushi was on par with the omakase in California. Compared to Japan it’s decent! The staff and the people of Jacksonville I feel who go here feel they are above everyone else just cause they’re here to dine. The staff looked at us with smirks and side eyes because we choose to dress casually and not wear our Prada, Rolexes. We have frequented all parts of Japan, Europe etc and retired at 55 so we’re not worried about keeping up with appearances. Food phenomenal, customer service needs to be highly talked about. Service is a 0 star but it won’t let me do it.

There was a lot of hype about this place, but I left pretty disappointed. My first glass of wine tasted old, almost like rubbing alcohol. Prices are sky-high—which I don’t mind if the food delivers—but it didn’t. I ordered the $130 ribeye and it was not worth it. It came presliced (please don’t cut my steak), and was barely lukewarm, while some of the vegetables were oddly hot. Flavor was underwhelming overall. The atmosphere also did not match the prices. They were blasting EDM music, while I was dressed to the nines expecting something classy—it just felt off. Our server wasn’t very personable, though she was fine. And to top it off, they automatically added a 20% service charge for just two people. That’s crazy. Won’t be coming back.

My wife and I went for the valentines special. Courses came out extremely slow and took 2 hours to complete the 6 courses. The first 2 were single small bites. We knew about 40 mins in it wasn’t going to be enough food so we ordered some rolls on the side. There were 2 main courses to chose from on the special so we took one of each. Steak for one, lobster for the other. After waiting over an hour to get to the main course, they came cold and left us wondering why a sushi restaurant would even try and execute these dishes. The steak had no seasoning at all. The lobster was chewy and tough. After seeing this we were honestly checking out mentally and just wanted it to be over and to leave. Desert came after another long wait. And then our waitress disappeared and never came back. After waiting for even more time we had to wave someone down only to find out our waitress left and no one was aware we were still waiting on service and the check. The finale insult was every couple received a rose except us. We were just handed the tab paid and that was it. Total amount spent was over $700. I will say, the omakase experience has always been worth it. But the main dining area has always been on the verge of disappointment in some way, never executing according to the price tag, until this time when they jumped off the cliff entirely.

Leaving a review here because I havent heard anything back after an email review. We basically had the same experience as a previous reviewer for the 6 course Valentine’s day menu. Comically small portions such as a single tiny oyster for the first course and 2 pieces of yellowtail for the second. Main entrees came out barely warm and were cold before we could finish them. Lobster was chewy and rubbery. I will say the service was fast, but when you pay 430$ for a few one to 2 bite courses and 2 cocktails and cold entrees it’s really hard to justify coming back. The regular menu or omakase is hopefully better but they really seemed to miss the mark with this night.
