Great food and service!!!
Great steaks and seafood
Los platos riquísimos y si venís martes o miércoles salen mitad de precio!
My boyfriend and I went there for valentines day. We had great service a wonderful meal. I love the crab legs and fried scallops.
Delicious food and lovely view.
The on beyonce, service and food make this a place that I will risit again calm again and again. Matt is a wonderful addition to the place he takes care of all of the customers in a manner that is just excellent.
Great little quiet place to eat with very good food. Service is excellent and price reasonable for a vacation resort area. Worth returning another time. Highly recommend l.
Have always enjoyed eating there. The streaks are very good and they have wonderful croutons! Worth the price!!
Probably one of the most romantic restaurants in the Eastern Sierra's. Beautiful rustic interior and a great menu.
We orders take out chicken and ribs. It was very delicious.
Excellent chef September 2018. Top sirloin meat quality excellent.
Awesome! Best Prime Rib in the Sierra!
Service is one of the best I've had at any restaurant. The food and soups are always amazing. Definitely a must-have anytime I go up to the Loop. Price is reasonable for a vacation resort
I wish we could turn the clock back, as this was once a thriving restaurant that my family enjoyed for so many years! Maybe someday it will sprout a new life!
I’ve only eaten one menu item here for the past 20+ years. Their Hawaiian ribs and homemade croutons are to die for. Can’t wait to eat there on my next trip.
They had the best prime rib. And the juice was so good. Very good service very personal , polite and professional. We are putting them on our go to annually list.
We enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with all the favorites. We took enough food home to enjoy sandwiches tomorrow. Our server was awesome. We are thankful to the Carson Peak for providing an excellent meal.
This place was very very crowded because another local restaurant in the area had a kitchen fire that day and was out of service. Despite being completely slammed the staff let me wait at the bar so I could watch T.V., then they served me at the bar, and as always the food was great and the steak perfectly done. I'll keep coming back here, hopefully for 40 more years.
We're giving the Carson Peak Inn 5 stars for the incredibly innovative apres ski happy hour menu that has recently been released. Sure this place has decent steaks and a full dinner menu, but the new happy hour menu is fresh and innovative. Poutain? Duck fat fries? Bratwursts and other great small plates? Yes please! We love seeing local establishments evolve and provide unique dining experiences. If you haven't been to Carson Peak Inn in a while, stop by and chek out their new happy hour menu!
This was our first visit to the Carson Peak Inn, we didn’t know what to expect. It was delicious! Everything was really great! From the service, homemade croutons, garlic bread and the Classic ambience. We had the sirloin steak and it was cooked perfectly, seasoned deliciously, served with the best fried zucchini we have ever had, even the baked potato was so good! We also had the fried chicken which was crispy, flavorful and delicious! We will be back to try the Prime Rib!!!!
We have been coming to the Carson Peak Inn since 1980. It's a throwback to a bygone era. The ambiance is old hunting lodge which I find relaxing and enjoyable. Linen Tablecloths, homemade bread and great service. They have a great menu, and a large portion menu also. I've had the steaks, pork chops and the ribs. I have never been disappointed in any of them. My wife loves the butterfly trout. The bake potato and salads are great. Just beer and wine, no hard liquor. Give them a try, they will make you feel like a visiting old friend for dinner.
My boyfriend has been talking about this place for 2 years. Last year they were closed for remodeling. This year we were in luck and they were open. My boyfriend had lobster and halibut—it was fabulous. I had the fritter battered prawns. Delicious! Really impressed with the homemade croutons, too. Service was spot on. Will return next year.

This place is a hidden gem! The ambiance is cozy as befitting its location, and the food is great. The wine selection is solid, as well. Carson Peak Inn does have some quirks that add to its charm. For example, there's a basket of croutons just sitting on the table that just invites you to start noshing. However, the bowl of chopped scallions right next to it is slightly odd. But in the end, you go to restaurants for food, and this place does not disappoint! The food here is simply delicious. The menu allows some flexibility in sampling different entrees, and for your first few times, I'd recommend that route. If your experience is like mine, you won't be disappointed.
A quaint old world feeling dining establishment. Great cabin ambiance. Fairly good menu and wine list for a small out of the way resort. Highly recommended.

Great food, but overpriced.
just ok
Nice place...
Probably the best to eat in the area. We've never had a bad meal or service. We've had a home up here for 15 years'
This was an cozy little place and the food wasn't bad.
Chicken and Ribs were very delicious.
It is what it is, an old-fashion steak house. Your steak is going to be very good and cooked to order. You can still get chicken livers or fresh fish, and the atmosphere is identical to when my parents went there in the late 1950’s. Only problem is, it was new then, now 60 years dated. Still a must when considering June Lake dining options.
A very comfortable, rustic place with very comfortable horse shoe shaped banquettes. Mounted trophy fish on walls and fishing equipment. Food is pretty good, old style American white table cloth food. Steaks, various seafood, chicken, ribs, chops. Salads tossed at tableside. Very good, nice servers.
This a great spot for a bottle of wine , salad and some shrimp cocktail or fried chicken. This small vintage feeling restaurant had nice service, and a good selection of wine. Make a reservation of you have a big group or check out the locals night on Tuesdays for some specials and deals.

It was a peculiar place.
It was better before Vail corp took it over
It's a cozy and cute restaurant. The prices are high but in line with other options. Steaks are OK.
Nice restaurant but the food could use more seasoning. Had to try it since I kept hearing about there steaks, sadly it didn't live up to the hype. Waitress was very friendly thats pretty much why i gave it any stars.
Food taste great, customer service for our pick-up order was great. The only issues we had was that we were told it came with a side order but it wasn't packed in our bags. Also, the website menu prices are not what the actual price we had to pay once we ordered.

Really unsatisfied from the food. Very poorly cooked, high prices for a really really bad dinner. I would not recommend it.
Always closed. Wish I could give you guys my money. Open up.
The Cook and some staff are cowards that threaten elderly woman because they are cowards.
I'm tired of these local restaurants that have HORRIBLE service. I'm tired of fake smiles and obvious gratuity driven kindness. I've been coming here for 30 years. The last few times have actually left me angry that I supported these ungrateful people. I don't like feeling bad or guilty (like it's a burden on the servers) for being here. I will never return and neither will my family or friends.
Other reviews said that this place had good food, so we stopped by hoping for a good meal. HORRIBLY RUDE service. Brunette waitress came out and said "We're full so if you don't have a reservation, we can't take you. The other waitress might but I won't." I understand if you're booked for the evening, sometimes you have to turn folks away, but this was unacceptable. Completely appalling and we will never even try to return thanks to her. Like another reviewer said, we were treated as an inconvenience. That's how you lose customers.
Met two of the rudest people in my life here, turned out they were the staff. My wife and I didn’t have a reservation and instead of kindly letting us know they were serving via reservation only, we were treated with disdain by the hostess and server (Cinderella’s step mother and stepsister). Go to tiger bar, they were courteous despite long waits/being slammed.
