I recently dined at this Mexican restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The spacious setting created a comfortable dining atmosphere. The freshness of all the dishes was evident, and the speed at which the food was prepared was remarkable. The staff was not only helpful but also contributed to a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. A definite five-star choice for those who appreciate both quality and efficiency in Mexican cuisine.

This is our original Los Cucos, great little family spot, fast and friendly service, delicious menu and good strong poured drinks! So we actually ate here yesterday and it’s been a while and let me tell you this was the best visit we have had yet in all of the years the food was absolutely delicious it looks like they have remodeled the place the service was impeccable we were highly impressed and absolutely look forward to going back more often!

If I had a picture for every meal I’ve had here… it would be the entire menu! We love the Hwy 90 Los Cucos! I love that the same staff have been here since I was a child. Green sauce is what dreams are made of! I miss the .99 house margarita days of 2013-2014!

The dipping sauces for the chips were incredible! I enjoyed every bite! I have had large shrimp before, but it never tasted that good before, the seasoning was great! It was a really good experience with family. All the flavors were on point, the seasoning was excellent and the staff was extremely polite. I'll have to come here again sometime!

The food was delicious and the staff are attentive and friendly. The dining area was kind of noisy with happy patrons eating and enjoying the time out so without me having to ask they took the initiative to sit my family in a separate area where we could eat and converse without having to shout across the table. The food was just the right temperature and the prices were very reasonable. The location is hard to park at because there are not many spots designated towards the restaurant. I definitely recommend this Los Cocos to anyone who really wants comfort food and a good time with family and friends.

Food is great. However, the servers are aggressively attentive. They should ask before refilling my drink, checking my tortillas or reaching over my table. I'll definitely consider this place in the future but they need to improve the service quality a little bit

This place has changed we were there on 4/5/2025 we felt like we were rushed to eat and get out and the place was not even crowded. We got our nachos and salsa started eating then we put our order for an appetizer. Got that within 5 minutes We had just started eating the appetizer and not even 5 minutes later our food came couldn’t enjoy our chips or appetizers I think an ai answered my review. Went here for family gathering at request of kids. Not sure if it had been a long Sunday shift or something, but the service and food was not what we remember from Los Cucos. Has it changed ownership in the past few years? It used to be excellent, but perhaps COVID affected things. Our server was a little surly but her lady assistants were very helpful and pleasant. Food had enough flavour but we all agreed things were a little dry, including the flautas. No sour cream, guac or caramelised onions to lubricate. Beef ‘fajita’ seemed just like any chopped beef for tacos. I know this sounds picky but with so much competition in this sector we were disappointed. The kids were happy with the queso and their kiddie meals but they were served last. However the family being together was lovely, even if we didn’t feel welcome to sit and chat at the end. We kinda got broomed out of a 20% full restaurant. Really not the spirit of hospitality and I doubt we’d choose this chain again to meet when visiting.

This was my first time visiting this location. I’ve been getting delivery from the Clay road location and have been absolutely in love with the taste and freshness of the food despite it being delivery. So when I was in near this location, I didn’t even think twice about stopping by for lunch. Well, I wish I would of kept driving to the one located on Clay road. The Mar y Tierra plate with beef fajita and bacon wrapped shrimp was dry and tasteless. Like if it had been sitting under the heating lamp all day then served. The parrillada was the same the ribs had no flavor and the meat was tough and dry. It’s like they took it from the heat lamp and put it on the parrilla. The sausage on the parrillada was burnt. Even the desert was bad, the sopapillas were tough and chewy. Even the ones that were delivered to my home in a plastic container tasted fresher then the ones we were served. Service was great! Oh I almost forgot to mention that the guacamole made at our table was the freshest food we ate.

I've been going to this location and the Katy Mills location for 14 years and the service has been below par in recent visits. We have not been going as often recently because of customer service and the friendliness of there staff. Tonight's visit was the worst and will no longer be returning. My girlfriend and I arrived exactly at 9:30pm, we know what we want to order and were going to be quick about it. The man at the entry rolled his eyes as we walked in, then the woman that he tells to seat us starts huffing and puffing and drooping her shoulders like we are some big inconvenience. I was just about to walk out and leave after seeing the way we were greeted but our server was actually nice so we stayed. I have no complaints about the food, it's almost always good. But the way we were greeted and service on recent visits within the past year or so will be the reason I will no longer recommend Los Cucos.

Not sure what has happened to Los Cucos. We ordered 2 fajita platter for 2 and was very surprised that for a $48.99 platter, we got portion for 1 or maybe less. Very disappointed in how much we paid overall with other items and how little food value we got. :-) Time to find another Mexican restaurant that we can go to often or bring someone out of town to experience authentic Mexican food. Also, was not happy how they added 20% gratuity to bill without asking. Chips seemed stale also

I am not sure where they buy their cheese but one bite and I was through and my stomach has not been the same. I put it in a to-go container to take home. The waiter had an attitude when I questioned my order. The waiters and waitresses all mingled in a corner next to the register talking in their native tongue. Tge atmosphere was relaxing as I focused on the socc r game on television. Though they had pictures on the menu no recommendation or suggestions. This was my first time eating here but I'll give it another try to have a fair assessment of this original diner. They are truly in need of eating utensils.
