The food is consistently good and they provide efficient quality service. I have been searching a Chinese food restaurant for almost 4 years since moving from NC. This restaurant has filled that spot and I have shared it with so many people. You must try it out, you want be disappointed.
Everything about the food is first rate! Even the fortune cookies!
Loved this place, the Orange Chicken was lightly breaded and the sauce was perfect. Would love to come back here again, the waitress was super helpful and nice. I expected things to take a minute due to it being off hours but honestly the food came very promptly, and delicious. love the atmosphere here too, very cozy and nice, but we didnt feel out of place with our little one & car seat.
Love the food. Have gotten many different dishes and have loved everything. We mostly do take out and delivery. Orders are always correct and comes very quickly. Clean restaurant, helpful staff. One of our favorites in the area.
Very good Mongolian chicken. I’m so happy that you do not use MSG anymore . Thank you because it was delicious
They're food is so fresh and delicious. I'm obsessed with orange chicken, and I've never had it as good and homemade as it was here. The flavors were perfect and the place itself is so convenient to my house. I loved it! Highly recommend when craving Chinese :)
T Jin, best Chinese food in the area. Never disappoints!
The house special soup is my favorite. I get it everytime.
We just had lunch delivered from T Jin and OMG it was so good. We have ordered here many many times and always feel like this is the best in town, but today, it was on another level. The very best Chinese food I can remember ever having. Thank you for this. Keep it up, so good!
Great little American Chinese diner. You can request the food to be more Chinese than American. Quite an affordable lunch menu. My Wife is Chinese and she approves.
Discovered this place because of a friend of mine, and honestly it's been one of the places I've literally enjoyed the orange chicken. The combination fried rice is a classic, and it's done well. The spring rolls are great too. I never have had a bad time with the staff, I'd say give it a shot if you're located nearby it and like Chinese food.
My youth group and I went there 45 minutes before closing and the service was still awesome! The food was fresh and delicious! Our waitress, Jenny was amazing, she was super nice, funny and she didn’t pressure us in leaving. Thank you TJin’s for the great experience! Keep up the great work! God bless! 😊
The staff from St Bartholomew Church often visits this Chinese restaurant that we have come to enjoy. We enjoy both the delicious food and the convenient location for church meetings. The restaurant provides a pleasant and accommodating environment for our gatherings, allowing us to discuss important matters while enjoying a satisfying meal. The friendly staff and inviting atmosphere make it a perfect setting for our church community to come together and engage in meaningful discussions. It has become a cherished tradition for us, as we not only nourish our bodies but also nurture our spiritual connections during our visits to this Chinese restaurant.
FREE DELIVERY! I am a lover of Chinese food and this one, I give it a 10! It was delicious, tasty, spicy and sweet. I ordered 2 Lunch time specials: Kung Pao Chicken with Fried Rice & Orange Chicken with White Rice both with an Egg Roll. The delivery was fast, the gentleman had a mask and was very polite eventhough I didn't have enough to give a tip, he was so nice. You can order online or over the phone, I strongly recommend you try it, it was so yummy!

We’ve ordered from TJin for years. Always consistently delicious and fast delivery. Our favorites are the combo fried rice, combo lo mein, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, salt and pepper shrimp, and shrimp rolls.
Food n service are great. Food is prepared quickly. Restrooms are very clean n prices very reasonable
everything about this diner from the egg drop soup to the waitress we had were some of the most amazing food and service I've had. the waitress memorized our orders even though it was only our 3rd time here 10/10 would return

Their combination rice and wonton soup deserves 5 stars for a small restaurant and some of the best I've had. Sweet/sour chicken was good and you can't go wrong with edamamme. Large portions, especially kids menu and fast service. Didn't care for the spring roll but others loved it. Employees were professional the 3x I visited but thought they could be friendlier.
Nice atmosphere, better than I expected. Very friendly staff who greeted us upon arrival. We were seated right after walking in and the tables and chairs were clean and comfy. We ordered chicken lo mein with vegetable and lemonade to drink; everything came out fast. They gave us plenty of food however there were only bits and pieces of vegetables. The veggies were almost absent; no broccoli, snap peas, or barely anything that I could make out because of how small it was. And the noodles were dry. I can say however that the lemonade was good and the egg roll was one of the best I've had. I wished the noodles were better because the service and space was so nice. Since its so clean and friendly and prices were reasonable I plan to go back and give them another try by ordering something different. Hopefully I will then be able to update my review to a 5 star.
My husband loves the mongolian beef. I always get H17 (Seafood treasure?). The sauce is light. It's never busy when we come in but they are quick to serve and food is hot.
We've just moved to the area and of course one of the priorities was to find a good, close by Chinese restaurant. I found this one on Google Maps, just 5 minutes from the house so we gave it a try. The verdict - pretty good food; you wouldn't drive across Houston for it but certainly if you live in the Katy area it's worth checking out. T Jin has an extensive menu with reasonable prices, portions are generous and we thought the food was really good. The service was quick, although the guy bringing food out from the kitchen never seemed to get it to the right table on the first try. For us T Jin is a perfect place to go when we don't feel like cooking, we don't want to drive for 30 minutes, and we don't want to spend a ton of money on dinner.
T Jin China Diner serves tasty Chinese food with generous portions. The flavors are good, though not exceptional, and the service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Overall, a solid choice for a casual meal.
“Good, affordable Chinese food in Katy” We have been meaning to try this place for a while as we visit this HEB on a regular basis. So we gave this place a shot based on some of the reviews on TripAdvisors. This place has good food and is priced reasonably. They are located in the Pin Oak HEB shopping center so you can knock out lunch/dinner and groceries in one trip. They also do takeout and delivery. We came in for lunch and tried jalapeno chicken with egg drop soup and brown rice. We also ordered a vegetarian fried rice. We found both the dishes really good, a little easy on the spice, but you can always add that later. The service can be a little slow depending on the time you go. They recently opened a new location off of Grand Parkway and Morton Ranch (Krogers parking lot) Tips - Their dinner portions are very large and can serve two

Largely as expected.. terrific blue collar experience...good service, bountiful servings and good and as expected service... I'll return
Decent . Needs more flavor / seasoning. However The pork dumplings tasted unusual as if the meat went bad or it’s going bad. The fried rice was okay needs more seasoning. The egg rolls are basic . There was no dipping sauce included with the egg rolls . The food needs more zeal to it.
Not the best but not the worse Chinese I’ve had. Food came out fast and prices are reasonable. Only complaint to many sesame seeds and it was more like giant sauced chicken nuggets.
Kung pao chicken and orange chicken had zero veggies or chestnuts, no chips with red sauce, no salad or soup included. The taste was ok. Service was ok.
It's ok. The food was decent but of course as always they messed up my order. They did not give me my egg roll and they gave me brown rice instead of fried rice. Also the customer service sucks. But the level of service is expected from these type of restaurants

Kinda disappointing for the price & quality; picked it up for my wife -- Figured because they are in a higher end neighborhood, with a lot of competition, that it would be better. Place was clean with nice decor ( maybe renting a much larger pad than they need and franchising fee is effecting their bottom line) ... Normally a combo has things other than just an entree & rice (but there was a cookie)... Rice was undercooked - that's tough even for my cast iron stomach! Been in this zip code for over 20 years, it is NOT the worst place, and may try again some other time.
We have ordered take out from this place several times since moving here in '21. Delivery was fast, food was good ( not great) but good. That seemed to change a few months ago when we ordered our regular dishes - pork fried rice, sweet/sour pork, & beef broccoli. Sweet/sour pork arrived soggy, not crisp (mind you sauce was on the side) and the beef broccoli was over cooked with what tasted like bad cuts of beef. I even got sick that night. We tried it again a few weeks later thinking it was a one off. Same thing happened again with the sweet/sour pork, beef broccoli was better but not what it should have been. At that time we called to let the restaurant know our issues. They apologized promising to look into it and asking we give them another try. So tonight we figured we'd give them one more shot. Ordered sweet/sour pork, beef broccoli but I decided to try chicken lo mein too. Sadly no improvement. In fact the lo mein was like eating boxed linguine pasta , way to thick and gummy. Hardly any flavor & tons of noodles with little chicken. The container was literally full of bland overcooked pasta with a few pieces of chicken tossed in. That's it. Once again the sweet/sour pork arrived soggy and beef brocoli had that odd flavor that reminded me of the episode that got me sick. I chose against eating it to spare myself that agony over again. We live close, & the order arrives fairly quick so it's not a matter of travel causing soggy sweet/sour pork. It's like it sits in a steam bath before it's packed for delivery. I think something has changed in the kitchen. Either new cook, poor quality products/produce or new ownership. Whatever it is this will be our last order with them. Take out costs too much to receive inedible food, especially when it causes upset stomachs.
I would not recommend this place due to poor food quality. The lo mein was bland (and slightly bitter). The steamed dumplings tasted spoiled. The fried rice is basically steamed rice with some oil mixed in and fried. The spring rolls tasted okay, but they were small and cheaply made. It was basically a fried wrapper with a couple strands of cabbage thrown in. The egg roll was also half the size of what I expected and nearly empty. The kung Pao chicken had almost no vegetables or nuts. Mainly just chicken, which is weird.
First experience here, the waiter was not very polite. He seemed impatient and annoyed. There was a smell inside the restaurant it was grossing me out as if dirty mop water was used or something. I liked the egg rolls. However, I ordered beef and broccoli and ate a little, but it made me feel sick. My husband, who isn't a picky eater, ordered a dish with shrimp and chicken, and he said shrimp was raw and tasted bad like sea water. He didn't like his food at all. Drinks were watered down as well. Overall, it was not a good experience, and I'm being honest here because before I check out a restaurant, I look at Google reviews, and maybe this will help someone else.
We have been getting delivery for years. These last few orders were far below previous quality. I have gotten a lot of kung pow chicken. The last orders were tasteless. The chicken fried rice was bland and oily. I don't know what has gone wrong.
I did not learn, but they are good about delivering an order with something always missing. Of course, I pay for delivery, and due to their mistake, they expect me to drive up there and get the rest of my order. How hard is it to put steam rice in a bag, seems simple.
Absolutely the worst Chinese food experience I’ve ever had here. The orange chicken had no discernible taste. They were large pieces of chicken but unidentifiable in terms of flavor. The fried rice I ordered had several large pieces of eggshells that had to be picked out. It was so much that we couldn’t even finish the rice. What could be tasted was also bland. The fried chicken egg rolls were good but cold. All of this on top of a 20 minute wait. Never ever going again. EVER. I’m still mad I spent money at this horrid place.
They are great! Super delicious... I have eaten here for years but have noticed that i have been leaving the restaurant with a distinct taste of metal and blood in my mouth recently it is confusing, it does not help that i get extremely sick now after eating a meal here... I love this restaurant but saddened that i cannot eat here anymore due to the fact that something either in their chicken or sweet and sour sauce that is making me very ill, It has been a week and i still taste metal i was completely fine before then..
Horrible, never again will I purchase from this place. Got the Mongolian beef and pepper steak both dishes tasted like game animal… the rice flavorless as if reheated from the day before. Even the fortune cookies were stale. Not to mention the price for the deception really makes me regret the trip. Thanks for ruining our dinner t Jin.
Place run down. Practically no one there on Friday night and after eating there I understand why. The food tasted as if it had been sitting for hours. The kernels of fried rice were hard. We had to put sweet and sour sauce on it to moisten enough to swallow. Will not be going back.
I ordered takeout after having a dine-in lunch a couple days prior. My takeout order was terrible. I ordered Orange Chicken (same as before) and it was awful. I arrived a little early and my order was ready when I walked in. When I made it home (in 5minutes) my food was cold, the chicken was hard and very hard to cut, and the spring roll was stiff and stale. I was very disappointed. Beware, there is a difference in the quality of the meal when you dine-in vs. pick-up.
The guy who took my order was super pushy and horrible customer service! Then o ordered the sweet and sour chicken lunch special with fried rice, the rice was more like steamed rice 2 piece of egg no veggies at all, no flavor and super dry! I will never order their lunch again
My girlfriend didnt like the seafood delight. We asked to not be charged for it and the waitress said "you should have told me earlier before you ate it". Does this look eaten to you?
My father-in-law found this fortune cookie note at the bottom of his glass of Diet Coke. He mentioned it to the waitress, and she just asked if he wanted to change his glass. We suggested telling the manager, but we didn’t receive any response or comment about it. They’ve been coming to this restaurant for over five years and are seriously considering not returning. I had s lot of questions in my mind about the basic kitchen practice.
What is this? It sure isn’t Almond Chicken like I’ve had EVERYWHERE ELSE!! I ordered late on Door Dash not knowing the place was about to close or else I wouldn’t have even ordered. I tasted it to see if I could at least try to eat it because I’m hungry but it’s disgusting. I don’t even think this is a real dish. Seems like they just threw this together because they were closing! The last photo is what Almond Chicken should look like.
I went to T Jin because someone referred me here. I ordered the lunch special Kung pao chicken and hot and sour soup. The Kung Pao chicken had no vegetables just chixken ad peanuts. The hot and sour soup was more sweet than sour. I was not very impressed. I'm glad I brought the lunch special and didn't waste too much money.

The food had no flavor and felt like it wasn't even cooked. The "fried rice" tasted like plain white rice and we got three different types of chicken with okay sauces but the chicken had that weird meaty taste to it. Even the noodles are flavorless and taste like dough.
I ordered lunch and the combination rice included two shrimps with no seasoning. The broccoli & chicken was not seasoned. Two much money spent for bad taste.
I ordered delivery. Food was not fresh and not tasty. The beef and the shrimp and the wontons in the wonton soup should all have been thrown away. Potstickers, same thing, not fresh, the couple I did eat were off, bad tasting. Fried rice.. tasted almost moldy??? Idk .. yeash Waste of 50 bucks! Even the fortune cookies were stale!! With lousy fortunes inside I might add ... Overall, I would not eat here again. And I would not recommend it to anyone. People who run establishments like this should be held accountable for the low grade garbage their restaurants are serving. 😒
I wouldn't even give this restaurant a star to begin with. The waitress was racist and rude to me when it came to other non colored folks. She treated them with hospitality and treated me disrespectfully. Horrible service the waitress was even on her phone sitting down.I have even referred others to not go to this location. Management you should know better.
