Who ever is managing this branch as a franchisee is doing a great job as most of the chains are not up to standards but this particular Denny's is our favorite. We came for breakfast with my family and we had the best breakfast!. Our server Ingrid was full of personality and very kind . She was attentive ,entertaining and knowledgeable. Not only was the service wonderful, but the food was delicious. The food came out quick and looked just like the pictures or even better ! We will definitely be coming back !

Our server Andrea was a real pleasure. She served our table quickly and accurately with a big smile and a friendly demeanor. The food came out great. I ordered moons over my hammy with seasoned fries, and both were perfectly cooked. My wife ordered a fit slam that came with fruit and to my surprise, the fruit was fresh!

The ladies at this location were extremely nice, and I am to believe this is the nature of the staff. It was one ladie in particular, Delaney. She was the most nurturing, caring, and sufficient serve. Our drinks were never on low, and the food was handled with care. I was impressed by the personable nurturing nature. It was an overall Great experience 💯😍‼️ The location is clean, and tidy. The servers are dressed in clean uniform. I had a good time, everything was fresh and HOT 🔥 🤗😌. I do recommend this location. Delaney , I will be back to tip you, expect that, I totally forgot to return 😉.

You know when you get that waitress that wastes no time, isn't particularly sociable, pokes a bit of fun at you, but then tells you the best options to order and keeps the drinks topped? That was our experience. It's a Denny's, but they gave us those classic country diner vibes and good recommendations. No complaints from me, personally!

This Denny’s is my favorite. The food is always good. But the special feature is the service you receive, especially late at night. On more than one occasion their team has shown exemplary service and kindness to their guests. This is the place to go when you want a meal with some smiles!

Everytime I come I always have a good experience. Staff is friendly and kind and food is always good and comes fast to the table. I love to have breakfast for dinner or lunch so this is my to go place. The chicken skillet was wonderful!

I had a blast at Dennys with our server O'Neil!! We were staying at a hotel next to this restaurant and we decided to go have pancakes at 3AM instead of Taco Bell. Best decision ever. The coffee, man! It was brewed perfectly. It was strong but not bitter and the flavor was exactly what I'm looking for in a diner style cup of coffee. We ordered the chicken fried steak meal and the Grand Slam meal and not one bite was disappointing. I'm a mother of four, so I know my pancakes, and these were some fluffy, airy, delicious pancakes! I don't know if they use a timed mixer or what, but dang! It may have been the best pancake I ever had. The truth is, the meal was satisfying beyond my expectations, but the customer service was even better than the food. O'Neil made the atmosphere feel like I was at a friend's house having breakfast, and as someone with pretty bad anxiety at restaurants, my husband and I were comfortable enough to sit back and really enjoy our time there. I know it's "just Dennys" but this visit found it's way into my top 10 best restaurant experiences ever. I am so glad we decided to go here instead of grabbing some greasy fast food. I don't know how good this place is during normal hours, but if you're hungry at 3AM and O'Neil is working, you're in for a treat if you stop by here.

The staff was excellent, very nice and attentive. Food was also delicious and filling. With two people eating a full meal we spent not even $12, Denny's is always a favorite.

I like this location because they have an excellent service and very delicious breakfast menu. They installed dividers between the booths. The restaurant is well kept, clean and modern.

I go to Denny’s by Katy Mills, once a week with a special needs man. We always have the same server, Roger. From the very first time, 20 years ago, to now we’ve had several servers who were very good. However, Roger is exceptional. I don’t know his last name but he knows how order, makes sure I have plenty of napkins and ALWAYS check back to see if I need more tea or anything else. I always have to separate our tickets and he’s on top of it. _lease request Roger if you get a chance to eat at this Dennys. You won’t be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I went here for a spontaneous dinner and enjoyed every second of it! He got the “Country Fried Steak and Eggs” (~$14) while I ordered the “Berry Stuffed French Toast” (à la carte which was only a little over $8) and omg it was DELICIOUS. Every single bite was better than the last and even my boyfriend was shocked at how good they were! Not to mention I thought they’d be mini, but nope they were huge and made generously. My only complaint is that the waitress who was serving us was very ‘bleh’ and only checked up on us once. Other than that, we’re definitely going to return soon and I’m for sure going to be ordering the french toast again!

Late night hungry with my family. Ordered medium rare tbone steak. Depending on the location, some location will give you perfect medium rare, some dont. I stopped at this Dennys while staying in Katy. I arrived in town after 9pm and most places were closed, aside from the burger joints. The service was good as well as the food. I had the Cali Club sandwich, which really hot the spot. The restaurant was clean and my waiter was attentive.

May 17 2025 So we just decided to go back to Dennys. Our waitress was decent, just young and seemed really shy. But this time there was a waitress serving a table a few tables away from us. I am guessing she new the people she was waiting on, because her conversation was not what I would like to listen to while eating my food. It was not a visual I wanted in my head while eating. She was a big girl and voicing the fact that she was. While she was voicing that she was big, she blurted out something about her protruding FUPA. This is not the kind of dining conversation I want to listen to. I am not so sure I wanna go back ever again. Conversation aside, my food was exteemely greasy. So strike 2 on Dennys and not so sure I will be willing to try for a strike 3. Dennys has gone down hill and may as well close and make room for better restraunts to make their mark. Review from 2024 >This is our usual Dennys place.. This visit wasn't so good. Cassandra was our waitress. She definitely needs to work on her service. We ordered eggs over medium, and they came to the table watery and runny. Because she never came back to check on us, we didn't get good eggs until I flagged her from the back of the restaurant, chatting it up with 2 other employees and messing with her phone. By that point, we were already done with the rest of our food. The eggs were pointless. She brought us the eggs like she had done something good.. If she had come to see how our food was, like a good server should do, our eggs would have come before we finished the rest. Just bad service all together.

We went at around 4 p.m. and the waitress told us to seat ourselves because she was the only waitress. I don't get why she couldn't have seated us considering she wasn't busy at the time and there were only two other customers which she wasn't even waiting on. When we were finished eating I asked her for the bill and she never brought it. Slow service for not being busy.

Everything was good except for the waiter we had. He took our order, was super quiet, and never really checked on us much at all. He wasn't trying very hard to do anything "special". All we really require is mainly for our drinks to be refilled (a very important thing when waiting tables after order is taken AND after everything is served) and to make sure everything is ok once in a while. This was Not done. I've been to this location before and usually the server is on the ball, but the server we had that night was just not with it at all. The food was great as well as the atmosphere. It wasn't busy and everything was great, except for the service we got from our server.

Just like any Denny's, food was good, hearty and came out fast when we were there early June. Service was good, staff were friendly and did their best despite how busy they were. We noticed a foul smell in the entrance that lingered inside while we were eating. It smelled a bit like sewer backup. Perhaps it has been addressed already by now, but it was quite noticeable when we went there.

The food was great! The restaurant smelled really musky. Maybe had something to do with the water leaking from the ceiling.

Dennys is really mid, food was good tho and service was mid too. I would go again but it’s not a dennys out of the ordinary.

It was Denny’s. Reliable consistent greasy spoon with a lot of preprocessed food. This Denny’s, I’m happy to say was clean and well staffed. The three women who took care of the dining room and hosting responsibilities did a fantastic job. I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup because even though they were busy, they made you feel like you were important. Also, we had a large group with over 40 people going out for a cast party on closing night after their school play. They did a great job keeping everything straight. I was very impressed. The kitchen also did well keeping up with getting slammed with 40 people all at once.

Very slow service and there was hardly any customers. It was 8-10 minutes before the waitress approached my table. The food came out quickly. Another waitress was refilling coffee at the tables next to me and she turned her back to me and continued to refill others coffees. I had to catch another employee to get coffee. Very doubtful if I'll ever return to this location.

I’m not sure what happened to this restaurant but it smells like urine throughout the entire building. We asked to sit at the way back so we wouldn’t have to smell the restroom but the lady that was mopping (probably with the same mop they cleaned the restroom with) had an issue with us sitting at the way back. The cooks had it jamming though even though I thought I was at escaped 2001 or some Hispanic club. The host was really nice though and tried to assure us this Denny’s was one of the best.

Waitress never came to give refills on coffee or when I politely asked for napkins. Actually seemed like she was avoiding our table. By the way if you get the gift card with free $5.00 you cannot use the same day with the gift cards. Kinda stupid. Not impressed. Food was great though.

had such a bad experience this afternoon. Was eating with my sister, she ordered nachos as an add on after we got our food. So as we were waiting and eating we realized her nachos were sitting on the counter for more than 10 mins. The waitress that took us was nowhere to be seen but we heard her laughing and talking to someone around the corner. A few moments after that I noticed someone’s hair was in my hashbrowns. I checked to see if it could’ve been mine but it was dark black and my hair is brown. So I completely lost my appetite and was ready to go. So after waiting more than 10 minutes on the nachos that were sitting on the counter, my sister saw how upset I was and decided we would inform them and just take the bill. The waitress finally came with the nachos and we informed her about the hair and that we no longer wanted the nachos. I wanted to see if the nachos had gotten cold while they were sitting so I touched a piece and no surprise there but it had gotten cold. The waitress came back and said that she would get the hashbrowns off our bill but didnt know if we could have the nachos off as well since I had touched it. My sister said okay and just asked for the bill. The waitress left and moments after that the manager came and said “whats the issue?” my sister informed her of the hair and that we no longer wanted the nachos. She told us she would take off the hashbrowns but we had to pay for the nachos. My sister said okay and she walked off. Her coming back to tell us the same thing we already discussed and settled with the waitress made no sense to me. With being rude on top of that, it was totally uncalled for. Won’t be returning to this location again. Not sure if we were supposed to sign the receipt after paying but as I waiting for it the waitress said “you good?” with an attitude. I asked her if there was something for us to sign to leave a tip there but she said no and wrote something on the copy she kept. I still have my receipt, so I would hope theres no way of her adding a tip on my card without my permission. But that was such terrible service from both the waitress and Manager. The waitress had dark hair and the manager had orangish hair. Never experienced such terrible service.

Absolutely atrocious time today trying to use Uber to pick up my order. This location did not follow protocol in order to keep Uber customers orders safe, so someone was allowed to take my order today without any proof of identification for our meal. Disgusting behavior from the manager, never came back to help address this problem. I will never go back to another Dennys location ever again if this is how you treat your mobile orders. Worst experience ever. Ordered nachos after I got an omelet and hashbrowns. The young lady servicing us disappeared while my nachos sat on the counter for 10 min. In that time, my sister found a hair in her hashbrowns. When the server finally came to the table with the cold nachos, I let her know that I no longer wanted them as I watched them sit on the counter while she was off laughing and having a conversation with her peers. I let her know about the hair as well. She took it and said she’ll have them take it off the bill but we’d have to still pay for the nachos even though we never ate them. My sister touched the nachos to see if there were cold since they were sitting for so long and they were which is why I no longer wanted them I said okay, I’ll take the bill. As I was waiting on the bill, her manager came to the table with an attitude asking what’s the issue. I informed her on the hair and that we no longer wanted the nachos. She stated “well you touched them so you have to pay for them, but the hashbrowns I can take off.” There was really no reason for her to approach us as I already let the server know I just wanted the bill. Honestly the worst experience I’ve had. I’m a general manager in the restaurant industry and if I knew my employees were this unprofessional and rude, I would let them go. Honestly never coming here again. But, have a blessed day.

My experience with Denny's today was eye opening. Our food was overcooked with a weird fish taste. The service was spotty as the waiter did not take, place and serve the correct order. The atmosphere was challenged after realizing everyone else around was served hot food in a timely manner and ours was delayed, overcooked and incorrect. It felt like we were purposely mishandled. The manager took an entree off the bill and partially credited the military discount. We were very dissatisfied and this will affect my support of this business moving forward.

My waiter took an hour to take my food order. I had to get someone to find him. Then I ordered and he watched me but didn't bring out my food. I went to complain to manager and as I showed him where I was sitting they bused my table. The food finally came and it was wrong.They got it right the 2 time. Went to check out the girl took my coupon and said it doesn't apply to your bill only to your tip. That's a lie. There is something not right going on with the staff here this morning. They need to be trained how to treat all customers right.

Recently went and did not enjoy my experience. We were the only ppl of color currently in the restaurant and were offered fried chicken from the value menu as soon as we sat down.

I will not be going back. Got up to take my toddler to use the restroom food was thrown away. Was never checked on by the waiter. They did give a new plate when I said the the f we litterly had just gotten up to go potty and you threw our food away. I will not be going back. It cost $20 for a single plate of food and 2 drinks when I ordered a 9.99 meal off the value menu way to high in my opinion for a single meal and 2 drinks.

The worst service we have ever experienced. Personnel were in a bad mood, the first thing we saw, was 2 long faces. We were party of 5 and one of 6 passed right in front t of us. They kept us waiting for over an hour, we decided to leave and went to a whataburger near by and in 10 mins we were all eating. Never stepping in there ever again.

On Monday my family and i decided to eat at this restaurant, we always go to this location because the majority of the time the service is good. Unfortunetly this wasnt the case, the waiter Who took our order is named Jose C first he didnt wanted to take our table, then after a long time he comes with an atittude and starts to take our order... since we were waiting for so long we started ordering our drinks and food all togerher. Jose says that drinks are to be order first. So after a while he comes with the food only and then the drinks. After that we never saw him again. He was so cinycal that he gave me the check in the hallway when we got up to pay. Mr Jose if youre having a bad day please dont go to work or leave your fustrations at home. Dont let customers go tru a bad experiance when we Just want to eat and recharged energy to get going with our day.

We just left. The food was fine until a roach ran across the table. No thank you. We left the food on the table, notified the host, paid our bill and left. Never, ever, ever returning. If the roaches are crawling freely in the dining area I can only imagine what’s happening in the kitchen.

Enough is enough. There location needs real change and asap! I want a full refund for the past and now the most current experience here I had. Everytime I get delivery or pickup something is missing from here. From condiments to like today the whole expensive cinnamon roll pancakes. Items are always wrong and mismatched. For example ordered scrambled with bacon got over easy with sausage. It's only this location around here that has this issue. I even called firsthand to make sure they would take care of it. And of course didn't. Phone records prove this. My order number is #9924750. Please look into and rectify this issue . Thanks!

Just started doing DoorDash with my boyfriend. He walked into Dennys to get a dashers order. He waited patiently for about 5 minutes before a really awesome cook came out and had to let my boyfriend know that he has to go get the server I guess she was? From outside. At that time he was already waiting 10 minutes. We are in the service industry trying to make some extra money and we also order food ourselves and would hate to find out our food is just sitting on the shelf while the only employee is outside I guess smoking or on the phone. (I couldn’t see her from the car, she was around the corner and then I saw her come from around the corner and walk inside after the cook came and got her. My boyfriend then got the food and walked out and proceeded to let her know that he did the job for her since there was no one else in the establishment to do it for him. She then decided to follow him outside and say a bunch of rude things that just made her even uglier as an individual. I NEVER write bad reviews. This was totally unacceptable and disgusting. She does not deserve to work there. I or my boyfriend didn’t get her name but this happened on 05/06/2025 around 1:50am.

Biscuits and sausage gravy were horrible. No sausage flavor in the white sauce- not gravy. Frozen sausage crumbles from Kroger dumped on biscuits covered in a tasteless white sauce-Awful!

I ordered my food and 10 ranch and they only gave me one, whenever I place an order in this store it’s a disaster, I don’t know if they are new employees or if everyone there is useless who can’t place an order properly.

On Christmas Day we had expected them to be busy. Our server was terrible though. She kept pressuring us to order. Once we did she never came back until food was delivered. I was served cold coffee. Cheese sticks were hard and over fried. The rest of our food was okay. They charged us for a kids meal that was free 4-10pm. Of course we paid before I noticed. The manager was arguing with another customer. It was freezing! The blind were open and it was so sunny. They asked to close blinds but manager said no. We spent $85 and were highly disappointed.

It’s 3:40 a.m trying to place order before work for pickup… I called and the gentleman said that after 10 I have to place order online … so I tried the option for ham wasn’t there and how I would like my hash browns prepared so I called back to let him know he was nonchalant as if he didn’t want to work and I was bothering him… he gave me a silent pause then hung the phone up in my face… So I called IHOP and placed my order for pickup with no problem

Visited this location with my family after a Katy soccer game and we will never be coming back nor recommend any families to visit this location. Our server would hesitate and roll her eyes every time we asked her for the bare minimum, like a coffee refill or napkins. Once the food was brought out, I noticed the brisket in my sandwich was BURNT-ROCK SOLID and I had asked her to please take it back and prepare another. However she stated the dish was prepared properly and hesitated to take it back to the kitchen. Keep in mind, this brisket was CHARRED black and rock solid. My husband grabbed a piece and hit it against the table to show her how burnt it was. She then brought over the manager Aaron after 20minutes had passed so I informed him to please check on my plate and make sure it is cooked properly. He came back a 15minutes asking us if we wanted a coffee refill and stated he had cancelled my order -without my knowledge. I was hungry and was never properly served the meal I had ordered. Terrible service from the manager and employee.

Aug 15 around 9pm. I’ve been a loyal Denny’s customer for over 5 years, but after my most recent visit, I don’t think I’ll ever step foot in one again. We went in to celebrate a small achievement with my kids and ordered 2 Birthday Pancakes and 2 Jr. ice creams. Pretty simple, right? But things quickly went downhill. The waitress asked me (oddly enough) if the kids were going to eat the ice cream with the pancakes. I brushed it off because honestly, what difference does it make? We’re paying customers — just bring the food. Then, unbelievably, the manager came out and told me, “It has come to my attention that the kids are not going to eat the ice cream but the adults will.” I asked why on earth that mattered, and she said she would “let it slide this time” but that technically kids’ portions are only for kids. Excuse me? Since when does a restaurant get to police who eats the food we’ve purchased and paid for? It was insulting, ridiculous, and flat-out unnecessary. We weren’t trying to “game the system.” We simply ordered food off the menu — nothing more, nothing less. For the manager to come out and treat us like we were breaking some sort of rule over who gets a scoop of ice cream was beyond absurd. The whole experience killed what should have been a lighthearted family outing. I told her not to bother “doing us a favor” and that we were leaving. After years of coming to Denny’s, I’ve never had anyone make me feel so uncomfortable or unwelcome over something so petty. Denny’s — if your policy is to interrogate families over who eats what, you’ve officially lost me as a customer. This experience was embarrassing, disappointing, and showed a complete lack of common sense and customer care

Never again!!! Steak was dry & tough. The hash browns were full of grease. Food was warm. Waitress brought out my eggs, toast, & hash browns 2 minutes before my steak, WHY?? Then we go to pay & the register wouldn’t take our coupon. The manager said he couldn’t do anything. Never will we go back here.
