Absolutely outstanding! Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere at a very reasonable price. We loved everything we ordered... The sweet and spicy wings were great, shrimp was great, pork belly was great, everything was great! Definitely give Stone Age a try. It came highly recommended and we're glad we visited. This is easily one of the best restaurants in Katy.

Picked this spot to try out with my kiddos. Our waiter was so calm and efficient at the same time. Loved his energy. The sweet and spicy chicken (appetizer) was amazing 🤩 perfectly cooked and super tasty. The tofu and bulgogi bibimbop were delightful. Everyone fully enjoyed their dishes and I would certainly come back for more 😋

The food was amazing and our server Janna was spectacular. She was present and kind and radiated care. The chef set was very good with a delicious assortment of buttery textured good quality meats. The bulgogi mandu (potstickers) were very good. The chicken was lovely but the beef was out of this world. (We got some as a take home). The kimchi was really good and the corn cheese was perfect to satisfy my craving.

Highly recommend this place! Food is delicious and you get to cook it at your table. As soon as you come in the door, you get hit with the smell of delicious smell of food in the air. The flavor of the food is delicious, it is so mouth watering as soon as it gets to the table. The bulgogi Mac and cheese is 🤤.

First time here because we were between activities. I love how they had the free shrimp chips because you know no one really does free anymore, so this was a surprise! We ordered the bogulgi kids meals with Mac and cheese, shrimp udon, and salmon salad. I love the flavors of the salmon salad- I got the salmon on the side so my son can eat some of it (good thing too because the salad was a tad spicy for him but perfect for me!!) The udon he said was good. The shrimp was regular shrimp and not tempura- but it was still good. The kids meal was a generous portion for $7 and their kids menu is under 12! The service was great, our waiter even gave us scissors to cut our food without us asking!

Nicole was an amazing server. Super friendly & tentative towards kids. I like that Stone Age has a kids menu so the adults could eat more freely grilling. The variety of grilled beef was all of top quality that melts in your mouth, not chewy & that is saying a lot coming from a globally well travelled Foodie who has been to a lot of Korean restaurants. Also I like that they have unconventional unique desserts where I could enjoy a mango parfait as my sweet ending to cut into my prior savoury dishes & spicy kimchi. This will now be one of our top picks for Korean restaurants

I’m korean and the food here is excellent. The street food is so fun to eat! My kids loved trying all the different dishes. Our server, Jeff, was super friendly and helpful. Ambiance, music playlist, and decor were perfect. The menu is extensive so we’ll definitely be back to try the other dishes we haven’t tried yet.

My wife and I went to SoneAge with our two friends on Friday for dinner. Originally, we were planning to go to Saltgrass but we thought we try something new. The parking lot was full at 7:00pm but mostly for patrones of nearby establishments. The restaurant was about 1/5 capacity when we came in, quite surprising for a Friday evening. We were expecting a packed place. The hostess and the staff were very cordial, polite and very attentive. High point for that. We had a few small dishes for starters, including Korean pancake. They were okay but not exceptional. For main entrees, we had ribeye on the hot stone. Having eaten Korean BBQ in many places, we thought the meat here was bland, not seasoned as typical Korean. Also, there were not typical small sides which one would accustomed to in a Korean restaurant. My wife had bibimbap. She said it was good. In all, we thought the meal was average with a plus for the good service. We just didn’t think the experience was the best of Korean foods. Or perhaps we were just old-school.

We’ve been coming here for past few years and have celebrated birthdays here before as a larger group. This time, our table was ready with small birthday decorations, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the service fell short. Our server offered us drinks/water as soon as our group was seated. 10-15mins later he came back to ask if we wanted appetizers. We couldn't really order anything because he didn't provide menus, causing delays in ordering. It was also difficult to get his attention due to our table’s location. While food arrived gradually, side dishes/meals were delivered to the wrong side of the table. My mom specifically asked if the soup was spicy and was assured it wasn’t, but it turned out to be spicy due to the peppers in the soup. Later, the server spilled side dishes onto my brother-in-law. Another server informed us our meat was ready and made space for the hot stones, yet we waited another 15 minutes before it arrived. When it did, the rice that was included with the meats/sets was incomplete—only one was brought back and had to wait again for it. We also requested extra silverware, plates, and a knife for our cake, but only plates were provided. So we had to ask again and wait for it. Overall, we were disappointed by the lack of attentiveness and service coordination, especially during a birthday celebration.

Had a really disappointing Valentine’s Day experience. My husband and I came in for the first time, super excited to try this place. Our server, Ricky, started off great he helped us with our order and explained things well. Unfortunately, once the order was placed, the service went downhill fast. Our drinks were repeatedly forgotten at the bar, and we watched the table of four next to us receive multiple rounds before we even got our first drink. After sometime making our food our stone had already cooled down and stopped sizzling. The meat wasn’t cooking properly, and even the shrimp couldn’t cook all the way through, which should take no time at all. I noticed the table next to us was having similar issues, and they were brought a new hot stone to fix the problem. I asked our server for one as well, but he told us the kitchen was behind and that he couldn’t get us another, suggesting instead that we cut our meat into thinner slices. That response was frustrating and dismissive, especially given that we were still waiting for basic service. At that point, we just asked for the check and a to-go box. While waiting, Ricky came out with yet another new stone, but for that same table next to us and deliberately avoided eye contact. I don’t know if this was a case of favoritism or something deeper, but as someone who works in the service industry myself, I know one thing: you should never judge a table based on how guests look. You never know who your best customers might be.
