Our 9-year old celebrated his birthday here tonight and had the best time! Taylor, Robyne, and Jace handled our large group in a smooth and efficient manner. The food was delicious and the drinks were festive!

Did not plan to eat at a restaurant while visiting Kemah Boardwalk but had a change of plans and picked this place based on their menu posted outside. After all, their menu was limited due to the holiday and they did not have our first choice (tacos), so we had Broiled Captain's Platter and Crunchy Fish and Chips. Captain's Platter had variety of seafood and was good. Fish and chips was fine but the breading was a little too thick and a little too crunchy. We got full and satisfied with the food and had German Chocolate Cheesecake to go for later, which was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive and the other staffer who visited our table was nice too. Fun atmosphere with the fish in the tanks and under the sea theme; we said "hi" to the big fish when leaving.

Only bad was it was cold as hell in there. Lol. But we really enjoyed it. High prices but for a tourist, manageable. Locals would pass on this place as my friends who live around the corner pass. Great spot for a fun night out.

First time eating here and it was a great experience! Rob our waiter was amazing, gave us a tour on the way in and information about the tanks and fish. He let us choose where to sit, either by the tank or the windows for an outdoor view which i thought was very considerate! Came by our table often to make sure we were all good and was helpful with the menu as well! You can tell he really enjoys his job which always makes for a more enjoyable evening. Side note he also has an awesome mustache! Aside from our fabulous waiter, the food and drinks were phenomenal! So much flavor, aesthetically plated, and great portions leaving you full and satisfied. Will definitely be coming back!

For a restaurant attached to an aquarium, the quality of the food really blew us away! Of course, the ambiance and decor were wonderful but none of the dishes that we tried disappointed. Of course, it's not going to be the cheapest thing ever, but our server was so wonderful and kind, and the food was actually very good quality! You do have to try the cheesecake though, absolutely killer, and gorgeous presentation to boot!

We recently dined at this restaurant for first time and it was one of the most memorable meals we've had. Not only was the ambiance incredible, but the food and the service took the experience to a whole new level of amazing. The food was outstanding—each dish was fresh, expertly prepared, and bursting with flavor. What made our evening truly exceptional was the service from our waiter, Rob. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Rob's recommendations were spot-on, and his positive attitude made us feel incredibly welcomed and cared for. He provided genuinely five-star service that elevated the entire experience. If you visit the Aquarium, ask to be seated in Rob's section! We can't wait to return.

Thank you to the staff for accommodating our group of 50 (!) yes, I said 50. Every staff member had a smile for us and so attentive. I had the combo platter with fried gator and cheese curds, among other things. Absolutely delicious and tender gator for my first experience.

The Aquarium Restaurant at Kemah Boardwalk is an absolute treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. The ambience is mesmerizing ,surrounded by beautiful marine life and a lively, welcoming atmosphere that makes dining here feel like a special occasion. The food exceeded expectations. The steak was super moist and juicy, cooked to perfection, and paired wonderfully with tender lobster. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, the perfect comfort side. I also tried the fish and chips ,crispy, light, and absolutely delicious. Overall, it’s a fantastic dining experience with great food, an amazing atmosphere, and a unique underwater view that makes it one of the best spots to eat at the Kemah Boardwalk. Highly recommended!

This place is a hidden gem in the area! The space is of course extremely unique and special but we didnt know what to expect with the food. We were pleasantly surprised when all of our food came out amazing. I really liked my tuna poke salad it was HUGE and so fresh. We were also delighted by the cocktails and the options of glasses you could take home with you for just a few dollars more. Our waiting Rob was super friendly and helpful. I’d go back here in a heartbeat, can’t miss!

What a cool place to eat!!!! The restaurant is a giant fish tank- it reminds me of the ATL aquarium but with food. The views of gigantic pretty fish floating by as you eat is so cool and outside, yachts are passing by through the channel. There’s so much to look at, impossible to be bored. Jen was an awesome waitress and took wonderful care of us. Also shout out to the host that held our table even though we were running 10 minutes behind scheduled reservation. I had the sirloin - excellent size, temp and sides yummy veggies and smooth garlic potatoes. The fish and shrimp plate was yummy too - great sauce and plenty to eat- I see why they put it on the front of the menu. Finally, we did the shark fin chocolate lava cake and it did not disappoint. It was so good, we got a second one. Very unique place, super different without being weird. It’s also inside the Kemah boardwalk area if you want to make a whole day adventure out of it. Oh yeah, the Manga-Rita was 😋

If there were an award for “Best Waiter with a Mustache,” Rob would win it every time. Not only does his mustache look like it could star in its own 1970s detective show, but his service was absolutely top-notch from start to finish. Rob greeted us with a warm smile (and an even warmer mustache), knew the menu inside and out, and made spot-on recommendations. Drinks never went empty, food came out perfectly timed, and he somehow anticipated what we needed before we even asked. It’s rare to find a server who makes you feel like both an honored guest and an old friend, but Rob pulled it off effortlessly. The mustache was the conversation starter; the excellent service was what made the night unforgettable. Rob, if you’re reading this—never shave. The world needs both you and that glorious mustache.

Every time we visit Kemah, we make sure to have lunch or dinner here. The food is always great, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's also a good spot for kids. Highly recommended! I always bring friends from out of state, and they love it too.

We had a great experience at the Aquarium Restaurant. We ordered the fish tacos, which were absolutely delicious, and also tried the sampler, which was really tasty and well-prepared. The flavors were fresh, and the portions were generous. The service was outstanding — Markus, our server, was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. He made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The only minor issue was at the front desk, where we waited a little longer than expected to be seated. But once we were at our table, everything went perfectly and was absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend this spot for both the food and the unique atmosphere.

Our son saw this restaurant on the train ride and we had to stop by. The atmosphere is great, exactly what you would expect from a restaurant with an aquarium built in. There were a few small tanks and one large one with many different types of sea creatures. The food was delicious. I had the "taste of new Orleans" including shrimp, sausage, cat fish, and fried gator. My friend ordered Parmesan chicken and shrimp and my wife had Louisiana Cajun pasta. The experience was really enjoyable and our server had a great sense of humor on a slower day. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Today, for our anniversary, we planned to dine at the Aquarium Restaurant in Kemah. My wife was excited to have steak and lobster. We called at 1:22p to discuss our plans and I asked the guy who answered the phone if we'd need a reservation, to which he asked me how many were in our party. I said two, and he said, "aww, no need for a reservation, you'll have the place all to yourselves." In retrospect, I think maybe he was being a smarty pants. My guess is that it was slow and they were already plotting to leave early. We arrived before 6p to locked doors! No iced or wet roads or any reason to make sense of closure. No note on the door related to any restaurant issues. They were open earlier and when I spoke to staff there was no hint that my anniversary dinner plans would be shut down... I've never heard of a big name like Laundry's just locking up and going home early on a slow day. It was a BIG let down. We'd planned our special day around it. We ended up at Valdos Seafood and enjoyed our night together in spite of the disappointment. We had been pining for the Mariner's Mixed Grill with steak, shrimp, and lobster 🦞 and the Broiled Fisherman's Platter. I didn't expect the famous Aquarium restaurant to leave such a bad taste in my mouth 😔
