We enjoyed it! Nice diner type environment and food. Staff was fast and attentive even though it was a brunch rush. Pleasantly surprised. We had a classic club, chicken salad, French dip and chicken Alfredo. The garlic toast has the perfect crisp. All of the food was tasty. Will return.

I have been here many times with my family. This was my grandmother's favorite place to eat. I have always gotten the Egg Sandwich 5 this time did not disappoint. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that our waitress took quite a while to return to us each time she left. My brother got the chicken tenders, my Aunt got the Chopped Burger Steak. My sister got the kids Alfredo with shrimp. My mom got the Clam Chowder and 5 Garlic Parmesean wings, and Jeff got the Chicken fried Steak.

Local spot. Comfort food was good chicken strips and bacon cheeseburger. The prime rib was good 1st time, but 2nd time, it's not so good and inside seating very cold and therefore food cold. Get there by or before 2 pm if you want it medium rare to rare primerib. Good clam chowder. Small bar area, but better service with Will at the bar, though crowded at times... like weekends.

This is simply a very good casual restaurant. Relaxed service. Professionally made food. Drinks capable of firing you higher than NASA. Special mention goes to onion rings. Just heavenly.

Mac & cheese was likely made with cheese whiz, and the cole slaw was not crisp and not much flavor. As a plus the turkey sandwich did have whole slices of avocado on it. The service was very good.

I'm only giving 3 stars because the staff is great. The food was mediocre at best. I got pancakes and bacon, and I could tell it had been under a heat lamp. They brought it out in like 5 minutes. It tasted like a hotel breakfast buffet. I will not go back here for breakfast.

I used to love this place. Today my daughter's took me there for my 89th bd. What a disappointment! Im not sure the tiny little dried up overcooked Fried oysters were even in all that hard batter. Had to ask server for napkins and silverware. The cold air blowing right on our necks was misweable.

Every time we come here I remember why we rarely do. The food is mediocre at best. We ordered a small queso (which came in a decent sized bowl) but it didn't come with chips. I was confused as to what we were supposed to do with a bowl of melted cheese and no chips. Our waiter said it doesn't come with chips. Weird. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive though.

It’s ok. Nothing special. It’s so loud and service can be great or terrible. Only eaten breakfast here and have done so a few times when on this side of town to get it chances. A little bit of a limited menu for breakfast. Window room is always hot. Benedict poached eggs are always cold under the sauce. Crab cake a lot of stuffing, little crab. Home fries bland, need seasoning. I think the draw here must be the cocktails you can get at breakfast because I don’t think it’s the food.

So some food here is good some things on the menu are not. I had the chicken fried steak tenderness was great but man was the flavor a let down no seasoning at all on the chicken fried steak. To further confirm my suspicion the owner came over and said we do not season. They rely on gravy and if you want seasoning you have salt and pepper at your table is what I was told. The dinner food is very lacking. My wife's burger had same issue no seasoning and a very soggy bun. She did not finish it. Even waitress said after we complained that's why she dosent get Burger there. Owner seemed to justify not seasoning meats which is crazy in my opinion. However I will give credit were its due the grean beans had great seasoning. The sw eggrolls were good. We've came many of times over the years for breakfast this was our first time trying dinner. It might be our last time ever going there when you try to justify not using seasoning I cannot support a restruant who tells there customers that its how we do it and its the correct way is how it was portrayed to us. If i wanted unseasoned food i would bought a microwave dinner. Never have I heard this in the restaurant world. If this approach continues this café will not be around for the next 40 years like it has been. What a shame.

We ordered a seafood platter for $27.00. Look at this picture and see if this $27.00 worth of food? Hell NO!!! 2 fish bites, a small piece of blackened fish, piece of crab cake, and 3 shrimp. So over rated. I was very disappointed. The gumbo was only gravy and rice with 3 salad shrimps. Don't waste your time and money!!!
