Barge has been 1000% renovated since Beyrl. Place looks all brand new. Tropical look in outside, almost upscale inside. Sat by kitchen and watched every dish come out. Everything on the menu looked phenomenal. Next visit will be peanut sauce wings and coconut shrimp. This visit had the best garlic permesan wings ever (sorry Bdubs and everyone else) plus fantastic deep water "royal red" gulf shrimp (best seasoned boil of any place handsdown) and crawfish pies. Well light, extremely clean, quite although every table full with very attentive staff. Dishes are well-priced too. Will make the hour drive again and again. And, oh yeah, they also have The Yard! Always great to see Cory Morrow!

Great place for drinks and crawfish! We got the chili garlic sauce on ours, which was very unique and good! Near the water, live music, and some shaded tables. The main restaurant was closed today, with only The Yard being open with the crawfish menu and food truck.

I have been going here for years. I love to attend the Pirate Church on Sunday at 11:15. This place is a hot spot any time of day or night. They always have good bands, food and drinks. The staff is friendly. I love the rocking of the boat, it makes me feel at home. Drive, sail, motor or dinghy your way right into this great establishment!!!

5 Star rating for the food at this spot. Crawfish was really good, but only got 1 potato and 1 corn, per lb (ordered as he ate). Still, really yummy. Shrimp tacos were stuffed with shrimp, very generous portion! And grilled perfectly. The Hawaiian sandwich was exceptional and some of the best fries we've had in a minute. The tea tasted instant or maybe just not fresh, but we did not complain. It was doable. Service was a little lacking, but we ate inside, and the server was also the bartender. It looked like she was the only one serving everyone down there, so we overlooked it and helped ourselves to napkins or condiments that were on other tables. This joint is on the water (literally on a barge), so although we went at night, I'm sure the view a whole vibe during daylight hours. The patio upstairs seemed to be the happening spot, but since it was chilly and we had the kids, we sat inside. Would definitely come visit again and check that out next time. Definitely recommend.

My family first time being here. We were celebrating 2 of our friends birthdays. Great food,awesome service. I recommend everyone to try it. We even saw a big yacht pull up right in front. My daughter loved it.

In addition to the restaurant, which is on the water, this is an excellent outdoor live music venue with large bandstand and plenty of tables, chairs, and spacing for a large crowd. They also have a sand volleyball court. The service was good, people are friendly...nice casual atmosphere. Plenty of parking. We paid a $5 cover charge to see The Guzzlers and they were fantastic. Seemed like a mix of all ages... probably varies depending on the band playing. Go to FB to see live music events for this venue.

The crawfish were large. They use that fake butter, though. I hate the fake butter. No table service. You have to go to the bar. Not a huge place, so it's not too bad. I believe it's the old Turtle Club I went to in college :). Great view and they had a chill band out when I was there last weekend. Really good band. Decent Bloody Mary's but no olives. Made me sad. I miss fully loaded bloody Mary's! Many don't have anymore. Overall, we had a really nice time and enjoyed ourselves very much! Fun, casual waterfront bar. Parking is a little cagey. Adventures awaits lol

Cool little hang out place. I wasn't impressed by the food though. I kept i simple, 1/2 dozen grilled Parmesan garlic oysters, a dozen boiled shrimp, fried shrimp plate and a bucket of beer. The oysters were so small, no bigger than a marble , and the cheese was barely melted. The shrimp was good but would recommend it not be on ice after it's boiled. The butter sauce had a flavor that I just couldn't tell what it was and was off putting. My husband did like the fried shrimp plate. I can see hanging out here to have a few drink and some appetizers but not a main meal. It was pretty windy that night also, which made the restaurant sway, so if you easily get motion sickness, don't go on a windy day. It might not have been as bad if we would have been on the 1st floor but we were on the 2nd floor where the live entertainment was. I have to say, he was very good.

Super cool spot on the water. Staff was super friendly, kind, & attentive! Mercedes, our server, was fantastic! Drinks were tasty. The views are awesome. It's really cool watching the boats & jet skis come in. We ate dined on their upstairs patio. They had great live music & wasn't too loud even sitting so close! Okay, now for the food. We started with boudin balls, which were delicious! Our daughter got their chicken fingers & fries. We snacked on those & omg. Those chicken fingers tasted homemade. The batter was perfectly seasoned. Fries were great as well. They have a seasonal boil of crawfish, crab, & shrimp with all the fixings that my hubs & I split. Unfortunately, I think ours got lost or forgotten because it took a while & came out last. Spice level was 🔥. Sadly, our crab cluster & crawfish were very overcooked, which makes them difficult to peel & eat. Shrimp was good & cleaned! Included fixins were tasty. We were just pretty disappointed about our boil after the wait. I would return & try something else. My hubs is on the fence about it. Definitely worth the try for the views!

We visited during a car club event. Service was lacking and fountain drinks were not very carbonate. I had the shrimp nachos, and he had the tacos. Nachos: 3/10 at first glance they looked amazing, however, huge mound of stale chips, nacho cheese at the bottom of the plate and just not good. Shrimp were fine, but overall I would never order again. Fish tacos: 7/10 flavor was good, portion was good and overall good presentation. We’d order again. Salsa was good, but again, chips are stale. Outside seating is nice for being on the lake. Overall I’d give this place a 5/10

Crawfish were good. If I were rating on just that, it would be 4 stars. But… Girls at register are very rude, not welcoming, friendly or helpful. Bad attitudes from the moment we walked in. Non alcoholic drink options are limited. And don’t expect to order unsweetened tea, they act like it’s a major chore. Then And ask for Splenda or sweet n low?? They will act even more annoyed and go around and look and come back and say they don’t have any. Everything at the yard is self serve which is fine, but when you do go ask for something, it would be nice to have a friendly employee to go to. I’ve been twice and both times very unimpressed with friendliness of staff at the bar.

Where do I start... There is no reason this place should be as busy as it is the food is substandard for the area. You want good fried seafood go to Jo Lee's. The service was horrid 15 minutes to be acknowledged we were there another 10 minutes for a sweet tea and the wrong coke both served in a 4 ounce styrofoam cup. 25 minutes went buy and our appetizer was taken to another table then brought to us. 10 minutes later the smallest fried seafood platter I have ever seen gets served. The seafood was tasteless I should have gotten raw oysters because how can you screw that up. Catfish will leave an after taste that will make you vomit. Stuffed shrimp taste like re heated frozen Sam's club stuffed shrimp. Fried oysters had zero flavor and well I thunk they took one oysters and cut it up to make it look like 4 fried oysters. I can find much better places to spend $75 and get poor food and service.
