Wow what a gem ! Carla is wonderful, food was great, 1st breakfast dad and I have had up here that was under $40. Dad has small service dog and Carlas was very courteous. It's rare we don't get hassle. Will definitely be back often.

Carla' s North Road Cafe is a breakfast gem hiding out in Nikiski, Alaska. Yes, the hours of operation are a little “is this a riddle?”—but the food makes you forget clocks exist. I am an uneducated human for not coming here sooner. Owned and operated by a small family, this place doesn’t just feed you—it prepares you for hibernation. Every menu item is under $20, and the hospitality is full Deep-South comfort. The kind where you feel like family immediately… and are then stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey without consent (but with love). Now let’s discuss the breakfast burritos. When they say breakfast burrito, they mean platter-sized behemoths. These absolute units come drenched in country gravy or chili and are legitimately bigger than Alaska. They claim they feed two people. That is not a suggestion—it is a warning. Easily the best breakfast burrito in the local area. I will die on that hill. I will haunt that hill. I will aggressively defend that hill. For two people—plus a side of biscuits and gravy and coffee—the total was just over $40. In today’s economy, that’s not a deal… that’s a miracle. I am unreasonably excited to come back and try lunch very soon. And I’ll end this foodie review the only appropriate way: “WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” 🥞🌯🔥 Sunday -Thursday 7 AM - 2 PM
