The owner is very nice. Cooks do a great job. They really turned this place around for the best! So nice to see this business having a comeback! So cute inside and all the staff are so sweet and caring. They pay great attention to your needs. This is our Saturday place we go to get some good food and made to feel like family from everyone here. Stop in and give it a chance you will not be disappointed at all. Set up beautiful! And the food and drinks are so good! I’ve even had the pleasure of thanking the chief in person for the great meal. I’ve gone here so many times I should have taken more pictures. Steak is cooked to your liking spot on! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Stopped in on our way back from Homer and were pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent from the moment we walked in. We ordered fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and calamari to start—each one was delicious and impressively not greasy. I went with the French dip for my entrée, and the homemade bread was absolutely perfect. The only downside was the au jus, which was far too salty. Otherwise, this was a fantastic stop and we’d definitely come back.

We were three people for lunch on a weekday. Very large breakfast menu, fewer lunch options but still plenty. My French dip was a massive amount of food with very tasty fresh homemade bread, and a lot of au jus, which I like. The french fries were quite delicious as well. It took a while to get our check, but the service was otherwise friendly and good. The food was a little pricey, but considering the serving sizes, a decent value.

The best table service experienced thus far [8yrs] on the peninsula. Our server was extremely aware of her tables. We never waited for anything but our food to be cooked. Breakfast was the choice of the day. Eggs & hashbrowns were cooked really well! Definitely excited because that's hard to come by at most local [Breakfast] restaurants. Pancakes were light, fluffy & delicious 😋 [same as eggs,hashbrowns] One complaint: biscuits & gravy 😳 This particular dish is one of my favorites at any restaurant, always wanting to try.. This order, however, was absolutely horrible. Have zero idea of what type of gravy was attempted, but failure 😕 very disappointed, because I was looking forward to that dish! We left satisfied, full bellies, & very appreciative of the service we received 😀. Definitely will be back try different dishes, just not the biscuits & gravy. 🥴

I guess it depends on how busy the cook is. The halibut was excellent, the 42 dollar ribeye was overcooked. If you ask for rare they should pull it at Blu. Since it waits for pick up.

We went in on a Thursday last week- The server lady was very nice but here are my main reasons why I would never go back or even recommend this place to others. 1. The shrimp fettuccine was not fresh, it seemed almost like it was re heated. The sauce was separated and very greasy. 2. Half of my ribeye was fat. It was also very bland 3. They didn’t give me a heads up for the 4$ credit card charge. The initial bill said 80$ and after the server ran my card it said $84.

On the way home from camping and eating freezed died food for 4 days told the beautiful wife to find us a good place to eat. Well, The Catch is one you might throw back. Ordered the sea food plate. 48$ of over cooked salmon, almost burnt scallops, and dry shrimp and no flavor. Also had the seafood fettuccine. Salmon, scallops and shrimp were cooked exactly the same over cooked and no tast. We had calamari and ot was straight from Casco but it was cooked perfectly. All in all 230$ in my opinion throwing this one back and finding a better place.

This is Denny's of Alaska. Breakfast all day long but fish themed because it's In the Kenai peninsula. Food: Given we ordered burgers with fries but there was nothing special about them. If you are looking for a good burger then I would still recommend this joint. Service: We were greeted and seated very quickly. However, she sat is at a high table and gave us a high chair that was really short. Our 2 year old couldn't see over the table. We had to ask to be moved. She was great after that though. Very friendly, accommodating, and happy. Atmosphere: Hand painted murals and river runs through the floor tiles give the appeal of Alaska. The dim lights made it hard to see. Given it is a bar/restaurant/hotel so that would make sense.

I met my fiancée at The Catch to have breakfast. I ordered the Benedict and was highly disappointed. I always get my hollandaise sauce on the side and they brought it to me separated. Instead of poached eggs they were completely done. Usually it’s served with nice cuts of Canadian bacon or a cut of ham. I got sandwich meat slices. I know this restaurant can be good. It was last year before it closed. I would like to give it another chance being a local. The staff was super nice. Someone please apply that’s a great cook. This place has potential.

We ate chicken fried stake Thursday night, we both got food poisoning. Never eating here again as the food wasn’t good and comin back up was worse. Waste of money hopefully no one gets seriously ill from their cooking

After having breakfast I thought I should have gone to McDonald's.!!! Something as simple as breakfast should not have to be pre-cooked it was 6 minutes and my food was on the table in front of me I had eggs bacon sausage, and one piece of toast (who has heard of one peice of toast ? ) the sausage was only cooked on one side. The bacon had been pre-cooked and was cold home fries also were cold . It would be nice to have a freshly cooked meal instead one out of the 5 items were pre-cooked. Honestly how hard is it to cook a fresh and hot breakfast.!!! from scratch Guess it's back to Louies for breakfast

We chose this place because it looked nice from the other google reviews and pictures. We were 1 of two families in the whole place. The staff was very kind and the food came out immediately. I thought $20 chicken strips would be a safe call for my son. His comment 'these are decent trout strips'. Not sure if they were breaded with the same breading as fish of cooked the same fish oils but they were not good. The carrot on my salad was frozen. The clam chowder lacked flavor and seemed more like canned chowder than anything you'd find at a nice restaurant. This place had a high dollar menu and appeared to be striving for a classy atmosphere but the food quality was more that of fast food. Waitress was nice, I was sad she had to take the hit for poor kitchen quality.

Stopped here with my kids because they served breakfast all day. We were seated promptly but then waited for a server for about 15min. Asked another server in passing for some waters. When our server finally came she asked what we wanted and I asked for water. She immediately got attitude, was rude and stated I heard you and I said it was already coming so what do you want to order?! Food took forever to come out, had the wrong items and some food was cold. She continued to be rude and food was less than basic. When the bill came they charged automatic gratuity for eight people when we only had two adults and four kids. The gratuity stated it was 18% but they charged us 20%. The server continued to be rude, defensive and unprofessional. Do not recommend.
