I will definitely be back. It's the perfect atmosphere and the food met my expectations. This is one of many restaurants that I have gone to and it's the only one that was satisfying to me and my mom..
Great food Great prices, really tasty coffee.
Took my family of four to here. All of the staff were on point, friendly, and hard working. Food was good- I have had great experience with their burgers. Kids definitely loved getting Push Pops (candy selection at check out).
My husband and I are visiting his home town and going down memory lane. This restaurant is one of his favorites. Our Waitress Karen is a wonderful server and kept us smiling through our delicious meal. Every bite was a downnhome culinary delight. Karen also filled us in on the city and places to see since we have been away. Thank you for the memories we now have a beautiful new one .
Nice crowd of bills fans come here to eat breakfast on Saturday and Sundays. The food is great, and management is a pleasant to greet in the morning. They have lunch and dinner here as well.
Stopped in for lunch today. The place was packed but just an indication that the food is awesome! We only had to wait 5 minutes for a table to open up before we were seated. We weren't disappointed with our dining experience as our meals were absolutely delicious! Our server was tip top on the ball - friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, stopped at the table numerous times to check in with us, refilling coffee, asking if everything was ok, checking if we needed anything. Meals were more than ample - we had left overs and ordered a dessert to take out. Another meal awaits us! Thank you Olympic for an enjoyable dining experience!
We went to Olympic for breakfast. Had not been in awhile. The service and food was excellent as the restaurant was very busy. I would definitely suggest Breakfast Lunch or Dinner. Prices were reasonable!!!
The food here has always been and I feel will always be perfect. The service is absolutely wonderful and the atmosphere is warm and for me a little nostalgic of simpler times.
I don't get to eat here as often as I used to, but when I do get the chance, I never regret it. Anyone I talk to on the phone is kind and attentive, no matter how busy they are inside, it's never been more than a 20min wait, and when I go to pick it up, it's in and out, no issues. They greet you right away instead of passive-aggressively ignoring you, leaving you to just stand there and twiddle your thumbs, questioning your life choices. Oh, and the food is fantastic. I confess, in all the years I've frequented this establishment, I've only ever gone for breakfast food. Be that at 10am, 5pm, or 3am, I can't speak to anything else they serve, but the breakfast is always world class at a fair price. I've never had a single issue in all the years I've gone here.
This is a great and very busy place. Big turnover big fun just great food. But you'll know you're in the Buffalo area of New York because it's quick moving. And they're sharp witted. Haha.
Update: Masks are not required. Nothing else has changed from my review below. Great staff, fast service, excellent food! The food is consistently done well, the staff are attentive and kind, they have done an incredible job when it comes to social distancing, properly sanitizing, and ensuring their customer's safety, as well as their staff's. Their prices are also incredibly reasonable, especially for the current economy. And extra points from me for carrying Pepsi products! Great choice for anyone looking for a great meal at a reasonable and affordable price.
Foods great, waitresses do a wonderful job. Coffees never empty waters always full. I very much enjoy coming here every Monday. I usually come when they first open and haven't seen the manager lady (Connie) but I did today. It's usually a wonderful experience. Unfortunately Connie has a miserable attitude and is absolutely rotten to her staff. Seems like she can't handle stress or something. She starts yelling or speaking to the staff in a belittling manner, it was rediclous and rather infuriating to watch. No one should treat people that way. Seems like the staff isn't happy when she's there also seems like Connie doesn't like her job much. The waitresses are still very nice to the customers and very attentive but observing from a distance it's apparent Connie is a negative influence on the resturants moral. She wasn't very nice to the customers either. Very short, and dismissive. When I was paying, she snatched my credit card out of my hand then tossed it on the counter infront of me instead of handing it back to me after she swipped it. I tried being nice and taking how she was today, you know common courtesy, she just replied with fine like I was irritating her. Like really? For a moment I wanted to say something negative like pull the stick out of your...... but I didn't, no sence in partaking in her toxic behavior lol. I get it we all have days but wow what a piece of work. It's unfortunate the ladies have to work with someone like that as they were all very nice at least the few I had contact with and they were all hustling. Overall great customer service from the ladies, they do a great job and the cooks make delicious food. If Connie's there next time I might skip and go elsewhere as her miserable, rotten attitude put a shade over the whole experience. She needs an attitude adjustment or to find a new line of work. Connie's the vertically challenged lady with regular cloths working up front at the register. But don't worry youll know who she is by the bad attitude, she the only one..
We love this place! The service is great. The food is great. The prices are great. Nice clean, updated dining room. The wait staff can't do enough for you. We go whenever we are in the Tonawanda area.
Great service, good prices & take out process smooth everytime. The Soulvaki & Wraps 👌🏼
I went for lunch and got the spanakopita meal with the side Greek salad. It was more than enough food for lunch. The spanakopita was a little salty for my preference, but it was still delicious. I’d go back for this exact meal again
food was awesome and sandy was amazing as well !! deserves a raise forrr sureee
Love this place!! The servers are so nice... never have an issue with the food, it's great!
Servers were excellent, they made our day! Good breakfast and Greek options
My Go to Diner. Great food, service, and huge helpings.
I love this place. I’m moving about 25 mins north and I will definitely drive out just to get their food. The spinach feta omelette with sourdough toast is my favorite for breakfast. Their home fries are actually chunky, hand cut potatoes and not like little frozen cubes other restaurants do. Their chicken souvlaki dinner is awesome and also the open chicken souvlaki. The wait staff is always super friendly and attentive and I’ve gotten my food in as little as 10-15 minutes. I’ll miss living 3 blocks away Olympic has been a staple for me in the Ken-Ton area. Thanks to the staff and cooks. I’ll be back!
Far from being a run-of-the-mill Greek restaurant, Olympic, the first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant is. It is obviously given a lot of attention. Service was awesome! I'm so sorry but I can't remember the name of the server who took care of us 😞but she was excellent. We were seated quickly and our server stopped by the table to let us know she'd be back as soon as she took care of another customer. Great attitude, very friendly. She kept us apprised of every stage of our orders' preparation. And overall just made us feel like we were at home in her dining room. The food was fantastic! My only regret is that I can no longer eat like I used to. I ordered the Bacon Swiss burger and my wife ordered the Reuben. Both came with a cup of soup. I got the Lentils w/Rice (Amazing) and my wife ordered a tomatoy kind of soup I of course can't remember the name of 🤦 Needless to say we took half our food home. The prices are in line with other similar restaurants. I think - don't quote me please - all said and done we each spent about $20 plus the tip. Very reasonable. We're not often in the area as we live in Sloan but when we are, we'll definitely go to Olympic for great food and service!
Great food and great people. Always super kind and friendly. I go with the family for breakfast most of the time. Portions are good and the price seems fair with the area. Coffee could use some help but hey can't win them all. I usually get the Beef Stick breakfast with eggs and home fries. Let me tell you the beef is always tender, cooked to perfection, and tastes great. My go to every time.
Stopped by here yesterday for a fish fry. Started with a cup of lemon chicken rice soup which was really good. The Haddock was beer battered. The fish was fresh tasting but could’ve been cooked a minute less as the tail was super crunchy. The mashed potatoes with gravy was a bit larger than your typical portion size. Their potato salad was really tasty. Wish they gave a little more of it. The fish dinner also came with bread that’s not pictured. Our server was very friendly and attentive to every table she waited on.
A classic diner establishment - expansive menu, breakfast all day and a vast assortment of pie and dessert. Service is prompt and WNY courteous. I’ve never been here when they didn’t go out of their way to get you seated quickly. The dessert showcase is something to marvel and you may find yourself lingering by the door to purvey the full assortment before taking a seat.
Great place to have a traditional diner meal. Good service with proper ambience.
Stopped in for tuna melts, very delicious. The fries were just ok. Definitely would get the tuna again!
Went for dinner with 2 friends.food was great. My souvlaki dinner was delicious. I want to thank the young woman who took care of us. My one friend is a bit needy and he requested a few extra things;that didn't cone with his dinner. She was wonderful, very kind ,
Had my birthday breakfast here yesterday. Nice place.
I went here for dinner. I ordered the hot turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, stuffing, roll, gravy, and cranberry sauce. I chose the side salad. It was one of the specials of the day. I think they serve this every day but when it is the special it is at a reduced price. Instead of the salad, you could get coleslaw or soup. It also comes with vegetables. It is a mix of green beans, wax beans, and carrots. I think because I came an hour before close the vegetables looked old and tasted very bland. I would order the dinner again but tell them not to bring the vegetables. My waitress Stacy is very friendly, checking on you often and efficient in her service. She makes you feel at home in the restaurant. There are many choices in ordering. Hamburgers, breakfast items, sandwiches, appetizers, and more. The desserts in the display case look delicious. I will have to try them in the future. I will definitely be back. I noticed they have a backroom area for private parties also.
Great little gem of a diner with awesome service and the Cinnamon swirl bread is a must-have for breakfast!
I had wonderful experience the service was wonderful food was on point to taste wonderful place to go get a peace of mind when you enjoy your meal of all occasions so thanks OLYMPIC FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY.
We love it here! My 5 year old sons favorite restaurant! He crys to come. Lololol Everyone is very nice and the food is always great!!! From appetizers, to the meals, to the desserts! All great!!! Highly recommend!!!
It is an elevated dining experience, surpassing typical expectations. They offer a comprehensive selection, from breakfast to dinner, including dessert and beverages. Please go and enjoy their exceptional cuisine.
Had an small town feel with the customers talking with each other. Just plain talking about whatever. Food was excellent. Absolutely loved the rice pudding. Brought back many memories from my grandmother making it.
Hadn't been there since the remodel. Food was great, service was good for being busy. I love local places to eat. Better food, better quality.
My server was awesome and so was the cleanthlyness of the restaurant. A very open environment that felt very comfortable to me and my two adult sons out for a meal. I never felt rushed to leave and upon leaving the cashier was super friendly!
Outstanding! Great food and service. Beautiful building inside and out. Plenty of parking. Very clean. Nice views of Sheridan Drive. Bright wide open. A comfortable pairing of old school and modern. Seems very well run.
Always an excellent meal and service. Hubby and I drive the 40 minutes from Clarence to eat here. Prices for what you get is very reasonable. Food is consistent and so is the service. We've been coming here for a decade or more. The owner is always around and seats everyone. He is a very pleasant man. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Two thumbs up.
Love Olympic! They always have good food at great price and friendly service! Highly recommend!

The food is a reliable 3.5 Greek diner style with a solid breakfast selection. The place itself is always clean and the servers are great.
Our server was super friendly. She was very nice and pleasant. The food was served quickly and hot. The price point is thru the roof. 13.99 for eggs, plain home fries, and second-rate breakfast sausage? I understand prices have increased everywhere. This seemed a bit much, though.
Our server at our table was cheerful, attentive and professional. However, the "hostess" was not friendly. Our food was tasty and prepared as requested. The individual that clears and prepares the tables was also prompt and cleaned them well.
Had the Chicken Souvlaki. Fresh, generous portion was delicious. The wait staffer was a superstar. She covered a group of 33. Fast, courteous and efficient. Thank you!
Good place to meet up with friends and conversation. The food and service is good.
Very friendly atmosphere, waitress are great.
This was a nice choice for my cousin, who is Gluten Free, and me, as I'm trying to eat vegan when I can. Their Souvlaki Salad without pita was delicious for my cousin, and the Hummus Greek Salad was delicious for me. There are many many more choices in a variety of types of food, including American choices like meat loaf dinner and burgers and fries. This is a good place to take a group because there's something for everyone. I only was kind of irritated because I had set aside the salad dressing as I was taking my salad to go. The waitress took it and I think she put the used dressing back in with the others, which is pretty gross. There was a other half-filled dressing container so I topped it off and was ready to bring it home. I thought that was weird. I hope she doesn't reuse the little containers of salad dressing! And if not, why did she take mine away when she knew I had more than half my salad left?? One of life's mysteries.
Stopped in for a piece of baklava. Pretty good. $5.49 plus tax and tip.
Went for breakfast with 6 of us total. We got sat fast. Service and food were good!
A great Mom & Pop feel in other words, as if you're getting a home cooked meal change up from the chain restaurant Foods some that have sticked to your ribcage 😂
Had a great lunch. They had their but soup, so i had to take some to go. Crystal made it the best experience I have had here.
It’s decent. Good solid diner food. All the usual suspects on the menu. Service is fast and dependable.
Large Greek style restaurant that has a large menu. Food is served hot and fresh. Always well staffed. Great Carol dessert options. The only thing is it seems nothing is actually homemade there. No freshly made stews, sauces, etc.
Food was great. One of the best omelets I've had in quite some. French toast was cooked pretty close to perfect in my opinion of how I like it. Server was friendly and outgoing.

Usually if you dine is you have a great experience but lately the take out orders are less than acceptable. When you order and pick up items, triple check your order cuase your bond to be missing items or order is in correct. Then when you call back to state something is wrong all they do is apologies and not adjust your bill. Ridiculous. Won't be going there unless dining in.
First time at Olympic. First things first. Very good service and host seating. Top notch. Plenty of parking and food came out fast and hot and correct. Ordered their best selling open chicken souvlaki for 14$. Nice grilled chicken, about 10oz, salad, pita. Great portion, price was reasonable and close to other comperable restaurants around town. Here was the catch and why the 3 star rating. I ordered a side of Greek potatoes. 5.99$. I assumed a generous portion for 6 bucks. It is boiled potato and lemon after all. I got three quarter sections of a large (maybe 10-12 oz) potato. So not even one whole potato. Wait. What? Did I just pay 6 dollars for 3/4ths of a single potato? Potatoes are .50cents a pound. My souvlaki dinner was the same price as about 1 and a half potatoes. How does that make sense? Great spot, just skip the rip off sides.
Food is good, home fries could be cooked a little bit longer. Need more seats for customer's
i ordered a greek omelet all i got was a cheese omelet. the waitress told me thats it. now if i order a greek burger do i get meat on that. other greek restaurant would call it a cheese omelet'
Service was quick and friendly. Place was clean, fills up with customers pretty quickly but has ample parking. Price is on the higher end though. Paid $26 for rice pudding, french toast, 3 thin slivers of bacon and coffee. Their pies looked good. Nothing notable with the food, it was all okay.
This place does seem to be a popular breakfast spot as it was quite crowded. Unfortunately we were not very satisfied. The prices were quite high. .75 for a small bit of chopped onion on the home fries seems inappropriatly expensive. A milkshake costs 7.99. One side of my toast was not toasted. The room was quite loud and it was hard to hear one another.
Normally don’t do this, but was very disappointed. Wish the service was as good as the food. Was busy and the waitress forgot to send our order. Also never really check in on us, we had to grab her attention. When we finally got food, about hour later it tasted amazing. Thought maybe she’d offer something to make up for it, but no discount no comped meal.
Waitress seemed rush, and we had to wait for refills on coffee. But the food was really good.

why on earth is everything so expensive here? burgers where you pay an extra $3 for fries? a shake for $8? two people at my table didn't even get waters because they didn't expressly order it. whipped cream being upcharged on their dessert? my friend ordered a full stack of pancakes and got 3 of the smallest pancakes i've ever seen. this restaurant isn't struggling, there's no reason the owners need to be charging this much. portions were so ridiculously small and overpriced. we're not coming back. NONE of this is directed at ANY of the staff, mind you. they were excellent and sweet and unfortunately since this restaurant charges an arm and a leg, they probably don't get tipped very well.
I am sorry as much as I like your restaurant it has very limited vegetarian/ vegan options on your menu. This means I tend to go to more vegan friendly restaurants for example Lake Effect on main street. The reason for this criticism is I would like to come more often to you. But as long as you stay behind the times you force me and others away from doing business with you on a more regular basis. Thank you for listening. Growing up Greek I would really love to do more business with you. Damon
Just ok, gyro meat was very good but lettuce in the open souvlaki was clumpy and white, not leaves. Hardly any green pepper. Daughter's chicken was bland along with the rice pilaf. Just not the best
The rice pudding was not what I expected for the price. Maybe I got a bad batch. The texture was a mashed potato consistency with tiny bits of rice. I will not purchase it again. On the contrary, the staff was great!
Not great. Spanikopita was inedible. Breakfast food seemed fine. Gyro was just ok. Server was wonderful.
The prices on the menu do not reflect what you are charged. Spent $45 on below average breakfast food for two people and a child.

How this place stays in business is a mystery. The food here hasn’t changed in years and continues to be just BAD. Eggs were rubbery and overcooked, pancakes were dry with way too many add-in’s making it difficult to actually taste the pancake. Fake maple syrup doesn’t add anything good. Thankfully the coffee and hot chocolate are the highlights. But if you’re hungry, prepare to be disappointed.
The food was terrible. I ordered and paid for a dinner platter and I got a sandwich. The chicken breast was dry and not much bigger than a silver dollar. The rice pudding was horrible. My friend and I paid almost $50. for a take out order that was so unappetizing, that neither of us could eat it. What a waste of $50.00. They'll never get any of my business again. Don't waste your money.
Absolutely wretched. Avoid at all costs. I don't write reviews to be mean, but this place made our group of 3 genuinely mad and depressed. TLDR, Embarrassingly expensive for a place that takes every possible shortcut to move as much volume through the kitchen as they can. Taste is an afterthought. They used the legal minimum amount of butter on under-cooked bread. Not toast. That would imply some amount of time spent in a toaster. It's even sliced thin to get more per loaf. Chicken gyro. Zero seasoning. None. Not even salt. The yogurt was the spiciest thing. Frozen Chicken thrown together with sauce, tomato, onion, and raw chunks of bell-pepper. Scrambled eggs. Completely flavorless. Probably egg-beaters. Home fries and French fries. These genuinely confused me. Tasted frozen or par-boiled, maybe even microwaved. When you tear open a fry, it's just completely white on the inside with the thinnest amount of yellow on the outside. If it was actually cooked, it's only to fool the eye. The worst sin of all. They absolutely ruined bacon. 6 dollars for 3 pathetic slices of some kind of off-brand Oscar-Meyer. It's like they pre-boiled it and threw it on a dry skillet. Our order was door-dashed, so I can't comment on the staff or service. I will say the prep and delivery was mercifully fast at noon on a Saturday, so while we were definitely ripped off, at least it was over quickly. Part of me hopes our order was swapped with a delivery for a nursing home, but I really hate to think of anyone being this cruel by serving it to the elderly.
Ate dinner here tonight. I got the breaded fish fry with soup, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The coleslaw takes like it sat in a fridge for way too long, the mashed potatoes were stringy, like it had literally had strings in it and the fish was dry and over cooked. $18.99 for that. The "bread basket" was two hotdog rolls. Breakfast here is good but I will never get a dinner here again.
