This place has your typical Chinese buffet selections and then some. Decent sushi selection, a few different types of dumpligs. Nothing was out of this world incredible but everything was pretty tasty. The place is extremely clean with a nice decor. Not a lot of people which was nice to not be crowded but also the food wasn't especially hot because of this. All in all a good experience and I would 100% return.

This buffet really impressed me! They offer a wide variety of dishes, from hot entrées and cold appetizers to desserts, with fresh seafood and a great barbecue section. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, and the food stations are always well stocked—no empty trays in sight. The staff are friendly and attentive, and both the serving areas and dining tables are kept very clean. For the quality and variety, the price is very reasonable, making it a great value. The dining space is spacious and comfortable, perfect for family gatherings or meals with friends. Overall, it’s a buffet I’d happily come back to again and again!

This place is seriously slept on - I’m not sure if they mainly do take out because whenever I eat in it’s usually only me or 1 or 2 other groups, but you should give this place a try. Their hotpot is humble with a small but great menu. I would highly recommend their dumplings if you’re doing hotpot. I’ve wanted to try their take out and while in Kingston decided tonight was the night and it didn’t disappoint! For $15~, I got the general Tso combo with white rice, egg drop soup and an egg roll which was great. I’ve been in search of good Chinese food around here and glad to say I’ve found it! Ive seen people bashing them for their vegan options, but I don’t know why you’re going to a traditional Chinese food place expecting to find vegan food 🤷

Stumbled upon this place when the family was upstate for a weekend and it was already 8:30p- not much open and we thought this was only a hotpot place. We noted they had a veg/vegan option or two and thought- ok better than other options at the moment. Located in a strip mall, the parking lot in front of this place had one car, yes just one. Uh oh. As we walked in, we were shocked at the sheer size of the place- dozens upon dozens of booths and tables. Our host asked which menu- to which we guessed and clumsily said “Vegetarian or Vegan?” They had one, and oh boy were we pleasantly surprised! Rows and rows of all vegetarian and vegan options. This place had potential by the menu alone. We ended up ordering spring rolls, veg drumsticks, home style tofu, general’s tofu and Mongolian veg beef along with veg fried rice. When I tell you this food came out fast, I mean DC comics Flash fast (the tv show version- which we all know is the better Flash anyway)! Spring Rolls- standard fare hard to mess these up Veg Drumsticks - generous portion with 5! Perfect crisp on the outside with chewy and lightly salty inside- served with a sweet dipping sauce Home Style Tofu - tons of fresh veggies- zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, broccoli. General’s Tofu- I want to back right now and order a few of these. Super crunchy tofu with a lightly sweet/savory sauce- perfect ratio! Mongolian Veg Beef- loaded with onions but do not be deterred the flavor was enhanced by them and seasoning was just right Veg fried rice - executed well, just wish it had a slight more salt- easily overlooked with all the other great dishes! My guess is the empty place on a Friday night means they do a lot of carry out or delivery business. Our dine-in experience was great- kind servers and quick rollout of food! Wish we had these types of spots near us in NJ…

Food was good, portions were massive. Service was attentive. Atmosphere left a lot to be desired, place needed some upkeep and was empty. It looks like it seats close to 100 but there was only one other diner there when I went.

Go here semi regularly. The twice cooked pork using pork belly with what I consider mild chili sauce is the best! Get a taro bubble tea here as well usually. Not overly iced so you are getting more tea and less water. The pumpkin mochi is nice for a treat every one in awhile. The food I've tried isn't overly seasoned as you can tell by looking at the fried rice which isn't a bad thing. Tastes more natural and not so salty or drowning in sauce. Twice cooked fish is good. Hot pot is good as well when I have the time. I'd say try the items under the authentic Chinese menu. The other Americanized Chinese food doesn't quite taste the same as your typical Chinese food place so although good, don't be disappointed if it isn't the same. Try their other items on the menu first to get an idea of their food. I see people have bad reviews about the fried chicken, but who orders fried chicken at a Chinese restaurant? Go to Popeyes or Kennedys for that.

My husband and I decided to go here to try the food and we were stunned overall. Don't be decieved by the outside - it's very nice on the inside. We thought it was going to be a cheap take out place. The servings were huge, the food was amazing. We have enough for at least two more meals in leftovers. We ordered the pork potstickers, General Tso's chicken, mushu pork, and pork lo mein. I ordered bubble tea and he got a soda. The bill came to $52 but it was absolutely worth it. The staff was patient and attentive. The place was empty and it doesn't deserve to be. It deserves to be packed. Please give it a go if you want really good Chinese food.

I think I reviewed them last year, cant remember. But had a slice today and it was very good. Still feels like it used to be better in the past. Has the place changed hands? Still very good tho, will keep goin!

We had a large cheese/pepperoni pizza, individual slices of Sicilian, chicken parm roll, salad, cheese garlic bread, and a gluten free bacon chicken ranch pizza. All was good

This is the most authentic hot pot restaurant I've visited outside Taiwan or a major city. The broth was solid (I recommend "Herb Broth" which comes with very interesting traditional Chinese herbs), the cooked dumplings weee good, the vegetables were plentiful and fresh as was the seafood, and there were 3 different kinds of mushrooms to cook. The staff was friendly and engaging, gave me a personal tour of the sauce station. Only way to improve would be to source higher quality meat and ingredients. Recommended.

Their lunch special used to be sweet. Any 2 slices and a fountain soda for $6.50 is a steal in Upstate, NY. Their food is good. Solid stuff. You won't be disappointed. I suggest their Mushroom slices. EDIT** The Lunch special is now $7... Still worth it. EDIT*** The Lunch special changed AGAIN. In less than a year. It's now $7 for cheese slices and almost $9 for anything else. Don't bother. Go to Picnic Pizza up the road or Mario's in Port Ewen if you're able.

Dinners are good. Pizza is not - overcooked, little to no sauce or cheese. Never getting pizza here again!

I was excited to try this place and I hope it gets better as the buffet is only in its first few weeks. The service was attentive. My main concern was the food’s temperature, by the time you bring it back to the table it’s lukewarm. Also I highly recommend the staff check the soups throughout the day to refresh them.

Crust was so crispy I had to use a fork n knife. Even then I had to stab the crust to cut it.... Don't slate slices that have been sitting under a heating lamp.

I am writing this review in hopes the new owners will improve upon the new buffet. We had been loyal customers for the past 7 years- we are SO sad to see they discontinued hot pot which we felt was the most unique part of this restaurant and is what kept us coming here for 7 years. Tonight we tried the new buffet after seeing it was under new ownership. We were really dissapointed and there is a lot that could be improved upon. Here are some of the things we noticed: -Did not see chopsticks anywhere, only forks and knives. While this isn't a big deal, chopsticks would be nice. If they were there, they were not near the regular utensil tray. -A lot of space at the buffet is taken up by fruit and a salad bar. These are nice options but when we go to a Chinese buffet we are there for Chinese food primarily, not fruit or salad. These items could be more limited to make room for more types of chinese dishes. -There was not a lot of variety. Almost no vegetarian options other than green beans, bok choy, and mushrooms. No tofu, no vegetable delight, eggplant etc. -Most of the pans were 3/4 of the way empty. Only a few were refilled while we were there and we got there around 6:30. Many of the options remained mostly empty and picked through for the duration of our meal. When they did bring out new trays, there was not nearly enough food in them to go around. -Too much fried food and not enough Chinese dishes. -No traditional condiments offered like spicy mustard, soy sauce, or duck sauce. There was chili oil at the salad bar but the chilis and oil tasted and looked VERY burnt. -Most things had little to no flavor. Almost everything was bland and could have used more seasoning like the Lo Mein and "fried" rice which was pretty much just plain rice. -All of the meat options had meat pieces cut so tiny, it would be nice to have pieces of meat larger than a penny. The pros are that it was very clean inside which I hope is something they keep up on. The other chinese buffet in Kingston is very dirty so we appreciated the cleanliness. We hope that they change some things and add more variety. We will try again in a few months with hopes that some things are improved! If not, then we probably won't be stopping here again which makes us sad! We are also sad that the closest hot pot option is now in Wappingers. Please bring back hot pot!!!!

Foods great but employees would rather complain about the customers and how they respond to the unclear line setter right infront of them then keep there orders straight.took way to long for 1 slice of pizza cuz they gave my slice to a different customer that I heard didn't order what I did and when I tried correcting them I got attitude while the other customer laughed and said well ill take the free slice. Customer service skills in this place need desperate work especially when under pressure.

Well back in the summer this pizza was good and that’s what made me come back! But now It’s a wrap.. The pizza doesn’t taste the same it’s old and horrible! The young lady that was at the cash register looked in a refrigerator of some sort where there was food and began to react in a way where she saw something death or alive. Her scream and reactions gave it away that it was a Rat or a mouse. A animal non the less and death!! They moved her to the back probably to calm her down so we the customers didn’t catch on that it was a dead animal! I will NOT be a returning customer.

Its good food. Don't get me wrong. The reaturant is completely inaccessible for handicapped people. The front door is so heavy that I couldn't physically move it

I just read about the squished pizza for a little boys party that was purchased from Savonas pizzeria in the Kingston Plaza. Shame on the establishment!!!! I'm not the least bit surprised about this. I ordered a Greek Salad and when I picked up my salad it was in a to go cardboard crate box like what eggs are packaged in. There was no paper for a liner and along with that the price for this poorly packaged Greek Salad was an insane price of $19.00..!!!!! I would have been lucky if there was 4 Oz of Salad in this insane packaged ripoff!!!!! I will never ever go to that establishment again and you best believe I put the word out to everyone not to go there. Not sure what happened but the place used to be really really good.

Unfortunately, we had a pretty disappointing experience at Savona’s. My daughter and I stopped in and found a few things we really didn’t enjoy. She mentioned the chicken was not good at all, and the pizza itself tasted, in her words, like it had been pulled out of the trash and reheated—basically mushy and soupy. We also ordered an antipasto, which came in a foil container and had some really off-putting ingredients—like little cubes of what seemed like Spam instead of proper salami, and giant pieces of lettuce that were just not edible. Plus, everything was served with plastic silverware you had to grab yourself, and the place didn’t feel particularly clean. Overall, the pizza was greasy, floppy, and not made with good ingredients. Unfortunately, we just can’t recommend it

The food quality was poor! The pan-fried dumplings had a strong gamey smell. The fried chicken was tough and hard to chew — only the skin was edible. Aside from some seafood items, most of the pork, chicken, and beef dishes were extremely dry and chewy. One marinated beef dish was practically impossible to chew. Even the fried bananas had an off, sour smell. Not recommended!!

These new owners are cheap. I just got to go food and this is probably some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. In my order, I received sesame chicken, vegetable, fried rice, miso soup, and steamed dumplings. They completely changed the dumplings to look like gyoza And you can tell that the food is not fresh. Additionally, their new to go packaging is a step down from what at once was. It is all frozen, extremely disappointed and will not be ordering from here ever again.

I have never had such an awful experience as I did tonight at Super Bowl Cuisine, in the Kingston Plaza. I never take to social media without trying to remedy the situation with management. However, it appears there isn't anyone that would take responsibility. Although we were seated promptly, we had to ask multiple times for menus. We ordered 3 combo meals. The soup came out, and we asked for noodles. Which were just take-out packs, and the waitress pretty much threw them on the table. They brought out my meal and I was expecting that the rest of my family's meals would be following. 5 minutes go by, then 10. I asked and was told the kitchen was busy, which I'm sure they were. However when it got to 20 minutes, it was out of control. We asked over and over again (while I felt like I was the only one dining). They looked at the order and said buffet right? NO! They brought out more soup. NO! We just wanted the rest of our dinners. Never again. This place was a go to for us under the former owner. There are plenty of Chinese restaurants that are good in Kingston. This one's off the list. ** afternote: the egg roll tasted frozen and the broccoli in my dish looked like it came out of a Birdseye vegetable bag.

We went there on Sunday 9/14/25. The food was okay, not great. I was really creeped out by the older woman that was standing next to the food. She was standing practically right next to me and everytime I moved to try and get away from her, she would move right next to me again! It made me sooooo uncomfortable. I felt like I was being watched the entire time. When we walked in around 630-7 pm there was only one table with people. That was a red flag as soon as we walked in. It was just overall a very uncomfortable experience and I would never pay to be watched like that. It's not cheap and the food is mediocre at best. Next time, I will go to my go to Chinese spot and just get takeout.

I used to eat here often when considering eating out - nice local hotpot. There’s a buffet here now and no hot pot. Went here recently to try the buffet but everything looked like it was sitting out all day. Dry dry dry. Not appetizing at all. We ordered off menu instead and food was not as well prepared as usual. Noodles were overcooked and you could taste the grain in the powdered spices they used. Beef had way too much sugar (or whatever sweetener is used). Fries were not freshly fried - dry and cold. Next time I think of eating from here, I’ll choose to eat at home.
