I love Luby's. Grew up eating at these places. Food is good, atmosphere is relaxing, and the price is comparable to other restaurants of the same caliber. If you're looking for something traditional. Go with Luby's.

The food was great but the worker for the veggie section was hateful. It was my first time there so I didn’t know I had to tell the meat section lady I wanted the veggie combo and she said real nasty to her coworker “if someone orders the veggie plate tell me!” (Or something like that) and I felt bad cuz it was my fault, I didn’t know! Not the workers fault. Then I ordered the wrong side because I felt anxious around her since she was being so hateful. Other than that the rest of the staff was super friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice restaurant on the I-69 northbound feeder between Kingwood Dr and Northpark Dr. Easy access in and off the freeway. As a senior citizen, I like eating here because I can get a balanced meal at an affordable price. This is the first time that I dined at this Luby's location. The servers on the serving line and the dining room attendants are friendly and efficient. I will be stopping again here for dinner during my travels from Houston to Lufkin and back. As a disabled U.S. Army veteran I commend Luby's for the 25% discount that they offer military veterans.

We haven’t been to Luby’s in years and were excited to go back tonight. The excitement ended as soon as we paid and went to find a table. Every open table we saw was filthy! Although the dishes had been cleared, the tables were not wiped down. Food crumbs littered the tables. We chose the least dirty to sit down. We then noticed 3-4 tables were being used to store the cleared dishes from all the other tables, instead of taking them to the kitchen. This created a hideous atmosphere that ruined our dining experience. We hurriedly ate our bland tasting food and left. Although we may try Luby’s again, we will not return to this location.

Went there for thanks giving dinner to go live 5 mins away and the food was cold they forgot my pecan pie it was all 🤢 threw all of it away yes it was $17.00 but not worth it not enough choices for to go order. So I went to cracker barrel and for $25 I many choices every thing had taste and seasoning to it i was even able to get the chicken fried steak since I don't care for ham took home and was still warm well worth it .. plus I got a desert 😋😋

Could’ve been five stars, but Antonia was extremely rude to my 81-year-old mother… All we did was ask for more of the gravy across her rice and this woman acted like it was taking food off of her own plate Nov 25 went back today and the covered entrance that should be to drop off the elderly or disabled (those not able to walk from the parking lot) but once again it was full of unattended parked vehicles who went in the pick up to go orders. Mind you these people picking up their orders are completely make up park and walk inside, but when they call the management and or staff advised them they can just park in the covered entrance while it blocks the way for those who truly need it so that they can enter the building without walking across the parking lot with their walker etc. This is the 2nd time I have tried to talk to the manager, who apparently doesn’t care

5 of us ladies went after church, it was understandabley packed. I traveled from Lake Jackson,TX to spend time with my sister visiting from N.C. We both got the liver & onions. The mashed potatos had big uncooked & unmashed chunks. The liver & onions were the worst I have eaten in any Luby's. I had some kind of honey or syrup gravey. It was disgusting. At the Luby's in Lake Jackson you'd get 5 or6 really thin tender slices, we got 3 not thin nor tender. Really disappointed. It was my birthday & my sister treated me to lunch. Boy, did she waste her money.

I recently went to Lubys after not visiting for sometime. I was very disappointed with the food it had no flavor, no type of seasoning at all. I used salt pepper hot sauce steak sauce to try and make it eatable but when it's not cooked right nothing you do will get it just right. Needless to say I probably won't be back for sometime again.

As always whenever I choose to eat here I get liver and onions. Once we sat to eat the food was cold unfortunately. I brought it to their attention of the staff and management made a decision to give us a refund instead of making it again. I chose not to microwave my food because I don’t use it ever. This isn’t my first disappointment at this location. The tables were dirty and had dish clothes on the empty ones, who knows why. I assumed it was for the staff to clean while you wait to ensure of gaining a tip. Nope not today.
