Fresh baked goods that are second to none. Best donuts and kolaches on the North side of Houston. The inside is clean and pretty basic and they aren't reinventing the wheel here, just very good at what they do. The staff is super friendly and fast paced.

Everything was good - Service was 5/5 and very quick. Glazed donut was hot, fresh, and soft. Same goes for the burrito.

Embarrassed to say that the people here recognize me when I come in! Pat's is the best for a weekend treat or a quick breakfast on the go. Everything is equally great, from the donuts to kolaches to exceptional, big as your face breakfast tacos. Don't forget the chocolate milk.

BEST KOLACHES I've ever had! This particular location has the most delicious jalapeño kolaches by far. The staff is very friendly and honest. I once gave the girl a $50 💵 instead of a $5 and told her to keep the change. She looked at me in disbelief, grabbed the money back from the register, and showed to me. She knew I didn't mean to leave a $46 dollar tip.

These donuts knocked my socks off, and I am particular about my donuts! The strawberry icing tastes like it's made with cream cheese, and the glazed donut dough is light and slightly chewy, with a sugary coating. The filled donuts are worthy of an arm wrestle. The chocolate cake donut was decent, and we didn't care too much for the old fashioned or the chocolate covered donut holes, but overall this clean and bright donut shop is worthy of a stop when you are in the area!

Best doughnuts for miles around in any direction. Excellent coffee. They even have Vietnamese coffee. The Chappel Hill sausage kolache! Bread is soft and tender. Really, best doughnut shop around.

My favorite breakfast joint in the Kingwood area easy. Their kolaches are the best in town. Their donuts are better than Shipley's, but apparently their coffee isn't that good (I don't drink coffee, that's just my friends opinion) They always have a line in the morning because they're so good

I have been a Shipleys guy my whole life, but when I encountered their satisfying kolaches and amazing donuts, I knew that I had found my go to donut shop. It has a great atmosphere as is seems to always be clean and well lit.

I've been to so many local shops, and Pat's is my absolute favorite donut & kolache store! The donuts melt in your mouth, and are the perfect level of sweetness. The large kolaches have spoiled me with the perfect sausage to bread ratio....They're at least twice as thick as Shipleys sausages! I can't believe it took me 6 years of coming here to write a review...but better late than never I guess.

Long line in the drive thru, but it went fast. Very busy, says a lot about the quality of this place. Always good quality food, and great staff. Wish they had more non-meat options for their breakfast sandwiches, but I just end up with the delicious Apple Fritter.

It was our first time eating here and I must say the kolache plain with sausage was good. The bread was melt in your mouth buttery and the sausage was not spicy. The glazed donuts was also good. Some places the donuts are too sugary where I get a head rush from the amount of sugar in them whereas here the donuts were just right. I ate one and no sugar high, no migraine, just simply great tasting donut.

Pat's is probably the best place to get your morning breakfast. Their donuts are always great and their jalapeño kolachis are top notch. Their service is great and staff is very friendly. We go there enough that when they see our red jeep they are usually already making my wife's coffee.

I was getting tired of getting creek water at Dunkin, or an overpriced mediocre Starbucks drink, so I decided to give this place a try. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is like crack. I came back for a breakfast burrito and it soothed my soul. The staff are always friendly, and the service is speedy. My only suggestion would be to plz stay open past 1:00 pm for us caffeine addicts who drink coffee throughout the day. ✨

First time visit, definitely won't be my last! My mother had said their breakfast was excellent. I just needed something small, so I got a Cappuccino and some Donut holes. Staff member who was working acknowledged me after I stepped in and proceeded to assist me after finishing the window order that was waiting before I stepped in. Thanks again and I definitely will be back to try more items!

I've been going to Pat's donuts for as many years as I can remember. They used to be in a smaller building a little bit before the building that they're in now. The only things that hasn't changed is their food and their service. They have the best donuts around. I live in Livingston and anytime I'm driving by pats I stop and get some donuts and kolaches. Their service is great they're people are friendly to have wonderful hours and it's super convenient right off the feeder.

I visited this establishment many years ago when I was OTR. Now that I have officially moved back to Texas when available I will visit this place frequently. The food was hot and fresh budge the staff made it feel more like home. The prices were reasonable for the product that was given. Wifey mentioned wanting to try them out several times recently and being that shes had a rough couple weeks, I surprised her this morning by bringing Pats to her. I ordered one of everything on the menu (that was made and readily available), and they did not disappoint. Pats is now one of our favorite stops. The croissants were ridiculously good, the og cinnamon roll is so good it can start fights if eaten in public, and dont get me started on the kolaches 🤣 If you havent been by Pats Donuts in Porter yet, youre missing out. Get in there and go crazy, its the place for it. See yall there!

Excellent place to do business. Friendly staff, very clean, well lit and very good selection. I purchase for my customers once a week. They all want to know where Pat's is. I've been spreading the word since I first started doing my business there. Keep up the great work.

Good donuts, kolaches and crescents. Service is normal. Some seating available. Drive thru is typically out to feeder road. I don't find donuts to be as greasy as other donut shops. I enjoy the crescents the best. Kolaches are rather boring, even jalapeno is just bits in the sausage.

The Only reason I didn't give 5 stars for this review is because half the time we visit, they never have what we want, ready to sell. My roommate and I work late nights and are often there between 4:05 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.. Our favorite item on your menu is large ham and cheese kolaches, but they have only been ready to sell on one occasion, upon our arrival. Otherwise, I absolutely love Pat's Donuts, they have the best kolaches in Texas, the best donuts, and the service is always very fast and polite. Most visits, we are prepared to buy 4 large ham and cheese kolaches, 2 small sausage kolaches, a couple donuts, and a chocolate milk. Sometimes we add a Vietnamese coffee to the order.... ...I just wish y'all had the ham and cheese ones ready a little earlier.

Great donuts, kolaches, bfast sandwiches and bfast tacos. Kolaches beat shipleys hands down and the bfast tacos are huge! The drive through at the location on us 59 is the worst....horrible location for it. Three cars in the drive thru and cars are backed up onto the feeder road....super dangerous and the help at the drive thru is the slowest I have ever seen which only adds to the problem. Do yourself a favor and remove yourself from the line of fire...park and go inside to get your food...its much faster and safer than the drive thru.

BLUF: better than Shipley's, better than any other mom-and-pop donut place I've tried, the only better donuts is Meche's in Louisiana! Always nice service :) their ice coffee is big and tasty, but no options like soy or coconut milk (I'm lactose intolerant).

Best kolaches in the Porter / Kingwood area for my money. The donuts are no slouch either, and the coffee is passable. Staff is generally efficient and friendly but beware the lines can be long.

Update: The experience of going to Pat's has been downgraded. In the past, you waited in line (inside our outside), gave them your order, gave them your credit card and you got your donuts. It was as efficient as it could be. Paying usually took less than 15 sec. Now you get the dreaded tip machine, oh and now you need to sign, oh and while we have you how about a survey? I feel betrayed. Their food is still good but I tend to avoid places that do business like this. E tu Pat? Pat's is an institution in these parts their donuts and kolaches are fantastic and always fresh the parking can be a real problem in the morning the drive-thru backs up and cuts off the parking lot and Spills out onto the street but that is a sign of how good it is people are willing to wait

Have driven past but never stopped in. Good menu selection, prices are even or better than other local shops. Donuts were good and the kolaches are bigger and better than those available at other places. Walk-in and drive thru are available

Prices are a little inflated on the kolaches compared to other locations I've been to. However, everything else is relatively affordable and their breakfast burritos are some of the best I have ever had. On occasion they will throw in free donuts/donut holes just because. I'd recommend this place overall. Only talk downside to this business is it's location and parking lot situation. If you're coming off the access road and there is a line at the drive through you're likely lining up in the access road which slows traffic down. If you are parking your car at this location it is very doable, if you have a large truck you will likely struggle. Other than that though service is always quick, fast, and friendly.

The donuts and kolaches are good. But I got a 20 oz ice coffee for $5 and it was basically 20 oz ice for $5. The whole 2 gulps I had tasted so good that’s why I’m kinda disappointed in paying for ice with a splash of coffee.

Order was wrong after 15 min waiting in line. Should have check my bag before leaving. Cappuccino machine was broke. Front employees seems a little confused. Not a good morning. The location on 1314 is much better!

Service fast, could be friendlier. I like the blueberry cake donuts but they seem to be rushed. The icing was not glazed on seemed wet like tres leches. Besides that situation, I enjoy the establishment.

I’m curious how the last couple times I came here and bought Vietnamese coffee that’s $3.99 for one has been 4.87 total, a .55 cent increase. Has the price gone up, is this a drive-thru surcharge?

I’ve always gone here since I was a little kid and today I decided that I would try their iced vanilla coffee with my normal order instead of the usual Dr. pepper or monster. After paying 5 dollars for said coffee I got a decent sized cup with a really good coffee in it. The only problem is it’s literally 75% ice. Like I get that it’s an iced coffee and while yes it’s really good coffee I can’t help but feel a little ripped off. If I’m paying 5 bucks I should get 5 bucks worth of coffee. Over all a good experience as usual. The staff are always super friendly and the food is amazing.

I only come here for the kolaches and they are average at best but if you go through the drive through be prepared to wait. There was 3 cars ahead of me and it took them 12 minutes before it was my turn. No big orders came through the window to the cars ahead. I told the girl inside they needed to get faster microwaves but I don't think she understood English. Won't be going back if there's a line.

Every time I get a person with eggs , there's eggshells in the croissant very disappointing

Ordered from here off Door Dash since my go-to breakfast taco place wasn’t available on DD. Got two Potato/Egg tacos, one Chorizo/Egg taco, and a Croissant. All tasted very bland and the egg tasted almost watery. Haven’t had their donuts before so i can’t speak on them, but they need to stick to donuts from now on.

I used to like coming here to get their kolaches and cinnamon rolls, but now their kolaches are more breading than filing. I got a ham and cheese kolache and in the photo it is like 90% bread. I know that kolaches are hit and miss, as they are made fresh but this was completely missed during the baking process. It completely has turned me off from coming here.

This place is definitely inconsistent on freshness and quality..I live in Atascocita and have went here twice now after one of my friends told me about this location unfortunately both times have not been good experiences..I've ordered Glazed Donuts & Kolcahes and both didn't taste fresh and I noticed they reheat the kolaches in the microwave so they definitely weren't fresh👎🏾 I guess if you want fresh from here you gotta be there by opening time as both times I was there before 8am..🙄😒

Not for me, maybe everyone else is fine. But the sausage in the koloches are super huge even in the small ones. Big is not always better lol.. do nuts have a weird taste and I'm a Shipley's fan. And i give ALMOST DIFFERENT DO NUT SHOPS A CHANCE.. this is a different one. The taste isn't for me. Taste bleh. Biscuts were good only because they are homemade. Do nut. Ehh. I guess the glaze they use it Not it for me. Don't mad. Just learn from it. And this is NOT THE FIRST i hear in humble that it's bad lol. But i definitely gave y'all a chance. Didn't like it, moving on.

The donuts were cold and stale. They tasted like they were leftover from a couple days before. On top of that, they messed up my order. I ordered and paid for a dozen kolaches and they only put one individual kolache in the bag. If you go to them, make sure to go inside and I would ask for fresh donuts.

So disappointed in pats recently, I came at 4:30 am expecting my donuts to be warm and fresh. They were hard and cold. I’m not even sure if they were from yesterday. I tried them again and same thing happened. So disappointed. I won’t be giving them my business again. You’d think the original location would set the example for the rest but they’ve gone downhill

Something drastic has happened to the food at Pat's Donuts. The kolache dough was gummy like bread. The donut holes were not the same light as air puffs of goodness. The apple fritter was extremely heavy from being fried in cold grease and completely saturated to the point of being inedible. We are very disappointed in our last visit 2 days ago and will not be back. Everything we purchased was thrown away. There has been a gradual change in the quality of food at Pat's the past 3 years to the point we can no longer recommend this place.

Ordered 3 small ham and cheese kolache and 6 donuts, they were absolutely disgusting. The bread was hard , the cheese was dry and the ham was brown and hard. Normally this place beats Shipley but today was definitely horrible. Called to let them know and all she could say was thank you for your feed back..... never apologize or offer a replacement. That's enough for me not to go back and waste my hard earned money.

I usually order a breakfast croissant through doordash, and it usually comes with egg and bacon just like the picture. But lately they will just give a croissant, with bacon only. I complained and told me I have to click the eggs that cost $2. Please your croissant with only bacon already cost $6 and I have to pay $2 more just for the eggs? Absolutely horrible!

I've been a loyal customer for 15 years. Visiting almost every Saturday. I went today and bought a sausage egg and cheese croissant. Normally they are just over 4$ today I was charged 6$ because of BS egg price increase. I will never go back ! Ok owner....are you going to lower your prices when egg prices drop?????

Saturday at 9:30 and after waiting in a long slow line for 20 minutes they ring me up, take my card and money then don’t have any plain glazed or chocolate glazed or donut holes. Maybe tell me before you wrong me up next time. Then she says you can wait 5 min if you want. I say oh okay they will be ready in 5 min? She says I don’t know, they have to make the dough and there is a really long line behind you. I just got a refund and left. My suggestion is Do Better People! Burger places don’t run out of hamburgers at their busiest day and time. Won’t be returning. Donut shop on every corner so we don’t need this type service. I waited my time in the line to be blown off and rushed through. Thank goodness I didn’t do as she said and wait 5 min for donuts when they weren’t even going to be ready.

I come here often and usually love Pats… unfortunately never thought I would bite into a moldy kolache.. I am very disappointed.. not sure when I’ll feel comfortable to come back. And if you’ve never eaten something moldy… the taste is very distinct and and hard to forget 😑
