Stopped here for a quick lunch recently. The location where it's in is very festive hence the amount of crowd in the area. I had the Lounge Burger and it was delicious! The sides were also good. The gentleman working was absolutely polite and professional. Will come back.

Just walked in to grab a quick bite, then we were amazed at the quality and taste of their burgers! Patties were very juicy and their thousand islands sauce is great too. Strongly recommend the California Lounge burger🍔🥓🥑 Very friendly staff, def would come back.

UPDATE Got the mushroom truffle Swiss burger. Amazing. So delicious. I don't think I've had a bad Burger here. This place has delicious, sensuous, luscious burgers. Every time I think when it comes out it's so small but it's very dense and very luxurious. Then after a few bites I start thinking I really want another one after this! Great place. Nice when they have the weekly specials, happy hour specials or coupons. PRIOR Always luscious, delicious burgers.

Delicious burgers and really friendly attentive staff. Probably one of the most tasty burgers I've ever eaten. Be careful when eating outside, I saw a seagull steal a lady's burger!

A brilliant place for burgers! Friendly staff and delicious burgers. We got there a bit early and didn't have to wait for a table, but the place filled up quickly for dinner. Many patrons seem to be from around the neighborhood. We're from out of town and took a few laps around the block to find parking.

Our 1st visit. Maybe our last. Unfortunately we live on the East Coast. However, the burgers were excellent. Got the classic and bacon blue burgers. Also had a large onion ring. Sodas were cike products which I like. We sat outside at a small round table, which was fine for 2 people. This location is on the corner of 2 streets, which was wonderful. I'd recommend.

Good food! I’m happy they don’t use seed oils either. I was a little upset though with ordering the large size fry and getting less than my partner who ordered a regular lol.

I'm too old to be eating tasty greasy burgers so I had their Impossible Burger and a non dairy vanilla shake. Both were great! PLUS I watched the Super Bowl on their TV! Though the Lounge is located on a prime corner in prosperous LaJolla the prices are reasonable.

Visited this Burger Lounge today because I love their burgers. I was a little disappointed when we walked in because the music playing inside had a lot of curse words. We sat outside and it was a good view of people coming and going. The food was good, well the burger was and so was the Root Beer. I also ordered half n half fries and onion rings. Very disappointing. The onion rings were fried almost to a crisp and I got the bottom of the barrel fries which I thought was interesting since they had just opened at 11 am. I will still return to Burger Lounge but maybe not this location. Try them and see if you like the food and service.

Friendly staff when you come into the restaurant ready to serve. However when I received my burger it was very disappointing as I had ordered fries and received them afterwards. Additionally, my husband had a better experience he ordered the mushroom truffle burger and received his fries with his order.Finally, we paid $50 dollars for 2 burgers and 2 fries along with two drinks and it was definitely not worth it. (See picture of burger received after I took a bite from it).

I really like this place but I recently ordered fries thinking it would be quick. It took 15 minutes for a fry when I was the only customer there...standing alone waiting. I was about ready to ask for a refund and just leave. I guess other tasks took priority over customer service? Then when I got home I saw the fries...I got like all the bruised soggy gross cold fries. So I changed my review from a dissatisfied 3 star to a soggy cold gross 1 star. ):

We used to love this place, but were severely disappointed to see that they have succumbed to RFK Jr.’s conspiracy minded fear mongering over vegetable oils. We mostly eat vegetarian, and Burger Lounge was a favorite place to eat out for us. But now they are frying everything in beef fat because of RFK Jr., which is (a) anti-science, (b) disrespectful to vegetarians, and (c) a dumb move to align themselves with the Trump administration for a chain based in big CA cities. Very sad!

We love burger lounge but my vegetarian mother can no longer order fries or onion rings as they are now fried in beef tallow. They should at least have a vegetarian option for the fried products. Now we will go elsewhere instead until things change.

Not sure who thought frying Impossible nuggets in beef tallow was a good idea, but it completely undermines the point of a plant-based option. Why offer a plant-based item just to ruin it with beef fat? Makes no logical sense.
