My first thought visiting Del taco was a knockoff taco bell so expectations were on par w them. Surprisingly their chicken soft tacos are pretty darn good. Especially given their Thursday special price point of 3 for $2.25, you can't beat that!

Tuesday & Thursday's are Special Taco Night's: Regular & Chicken Soft (Respectively) both days you receive (3) for a low price!!👍 It actually is a just over the price of one regularly priced taco for each of the specific days special!! My husband & I pick up our special days tacos from the La Verne, CA location. The majority of the employees are nice, friendly & helpful especially two people that work the drive-thru window, a man whose been there a long time and tall young adult female! We are both Type 2 Diabetics so when we periodically pick up either of the two special night's tacos, we buy 2 orders for a total of six tacos, take them home, remove the taco shells or tortillas and put the meat contents in a wheat or garden tortilla which are both less than half the Carbs that are in a white flour or corn tortilla!! It's just nice that we are able to enjoy Del Taco specials & the rest of the food available!!👍😊💜🎉

For years we have gone to this Del Taco and never had a bad experience. . Kennith in the drive thru knew us well. My only complaint is that they had to close down temporarily to have some work done. . It was tough living without it. The San Dimas location doesn't even compare to this one! Glad they are back up and running again!! It's just fast food but they do it well..

'The Del Taco' is my favorite fast-food taco. I've been eating it since I was a child in the 80's, back when it was called the Classic Taco. It's still just as good today as it was then. Recommend: Always order extra sauce on the bean & cheese burrito's. It's free. If you're feeling wild, make any of your items "Bold". It's a secret menu option that adds french fries, sour cream, and extra sauce to any item that you order. I like it on the bean & cheese

I went to the La Verne Del taco and when I pulled up to the window I was greeted by the nicest cashier I’ve ever met. His name was Andrew, and his enthusiasm was amazing. I’ll definitely come back.

I have to say this is the best del taco I've been to in a while. We went late on Monday night around 10pm and received quick friendly service (though we came at a time that wasn't busy). But the quality of the food surprised me! Our dr.pepper was crisp, our tacos fresh and warm. I don't think my husband and I finished our carne asada fries that fast before. 10/10 thank you wonderful workers there on a late monday night 🙏

It is a typical Del Taco establishment. I have visited this establishment, several times, after work, and on my way to home. The meals, that I would order, were delicious, and well-made. There was no-line to order, or pick up items. At the same time, there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy the meal. Also, the place, during my visits, was neat. The prices, too, were fair and typical for a fast-food establishment. Overall, I have enjoyed visiting this particular Del Taco establishment. So, if someone is in La Verne, I would recommend to stop by this establishment.

Overall best Del Taco I know of. Staff work really hard (have had some exceptions before now, but all I have met currently are great), do a great job and are very friendly. This location gets really busy in the evening, but they get your food out quickly. Restrooms are standard, located outside. Highly recommend this location. Parking, entrance, counter, seating, and restrooms are accessible.

I only drive through, but I love it. Everything but the fries served with tacos. I'll never get used to that. Very affordable. Very tasty. Great employees. (Fish tacos were great)

Love our local Del Taco! I do not understand who thought that opening a Taco Bell caddy corner from here would be a good idea? I love that they now offer tostadas...especially since Taco Bell discontinued them. This location is fast, friendly and to be honest....I don't think they have ever messed up any of our orders. The only thing that will hold you up is if you get behind someone who takes too long to order because they don't know what they want when they get to the speaker.

This place is welcoming. Good service and friendly. Rarely is an order made wrong. Fast drive through service. Inside is clean. I like the deals Del Taco has to offer, I feel I'm getting the most for my money here. Taco Tuesday tends to be busy but despite the crowd, service is quick!

We have gone to this del taco for many many years. But the last few years there had been a bit of decline in quantity and quality. Now good news. There seems to have been a major overhaul of employees and since this happened everything is about 90 percent better. The only drawback (but not for me) is they are a bit slower. In my case, I would rather it be a little slower than to find a bunch of tacos tuned upside down and the little ingredients spilled all over the bottom of the bag!

I like Del Taco very very much...But i was so disappointed that my favorite hamburger with this chili sauce or mixture not being made anymore!! My best best friend who introduced me to it was so so delicious!!! It was just as good if better than In and Out. Personally I loved Del 🌮's.

I got 2 bean n cheese burritos green sauce. Best I ever had at Del Taco. Fresh and yummy 😋

Went thru the drive thru and had zero issues with the order. Guy at the window double checked everything to be sure we had all items (big order) we payed for. We go to two other locations frequently and almost always are missing one or more items when we check the bags... Both locations in Upland need to improve their attention to detail in that regards! This location.... Have never had an issue with missing items.

It is a typical Del Taco establishment. This one is located on Foothill Boulevard in La Verne. I have visited this establishment, several times, on my way from work. I would visit this place, to eat my dinner. The meals were typically delicious. At the same time, they were fair priced, during my visits. Furthermore, there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy the meal. Not only there was ample of space to sit down, the place was clean and neat. While, the staff, during my visits were helpful and attentive. So definitely, if anyone is in La Verne area, I would recommend to stop by this Del Taco establishment. The prices, too, are worth it!

They only got my order wrong 3 times in 3 years and it's petty stuff so no biggie. Fast drive though, so they have a pretty good crew.

Came here to do an inside pick up order. Pretty strange, though: There are no bathrooms at this location so just be aware of that. Just like a little square on the corner. I suppose since it is a small location. No issues otherwise

Love their burritos. Just wish I didn't have to open them to arrange the ingredients, before eating. Why do they always plop each ingredient in one spot, instead of spreading them, to create a better eating experience? Taco Bell seems to train their workers, better.

Del taco is just one of those places that's great for Mexican American foods. One of the nice things about this place is that they have french fries and many people love to have french fries with their burrito. I prefer to have the big epic burritos and they're really good.

Del taco has always been a mainstay in our house. Theyre efficient, we know what we like, its consistent. Took a star away because they changed their $ menu. With 5 of us things get spendy quick! We loved the strawberry lemonades and the half lb burritos, (my kids are young and they do too!) But they are no longer on the dollar menu. There *is* a bean & cheese burrito, though not a half lb. Nbd, but still. Maybe we just like consistency and routine. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The employees were very helpful and courteous. They could do better with one or two more employees working. It would expedite the delivery time and with the cleanliness of the kitchen area. The customer service was fantastic under those circumstances. I ordered the fish tacos with freshly made guacamole and they tasted delicious.

I hadn't been to Del Taco in quite some time. I tried the Epic Burrito. It was quite good. There is one thing that would make it perfect. I got a medium drink which was huge. Good thing I didn't get a sugar drink in that giant cup. Their ice tea is good. Service is good.

The food is generally good. The service is typical. The wait is always long whether you have a long line ahead of you or you’re the only one in line. It’s always a 15 minute drive thru experience and it’s been that way for years.

This restaurant is clean and well kept. The service is very good and the quality is what you would expect from any Del Taco. No surprises. At dinner time, the small parking lot does get full and the drive thru line backs up, making it hard to get into or out of the lot. It's on a busy corner and there are no other adjacent parking lots to use. This is the only minor inconvenience that I can complain about, but it isn't really that big of a deal.

The food here is a classic. Where else can you get a burrito and fries? Beings back good old memories.

The food is pretty good for fast food, though they tend to be heavy on their sauces. The wait time isn't too bad depending on the time of day. Though the attatude of most of the associates I've dealt with have been on the poor side. But the food does make up for it, in my opinion.

Small but very efficient location. Speedy and friendly staff. Order accuracy, however, is not always consistent. Drive-thru order accuracy should never be taken for granted.

Good prices for the Del Tacos but their burritos are a bit pricey. Don't bother with their Macho Burritos. They over stuff them with rice and skimp on the meat and other ingredients. They should call these Mucho Rice Burritos. The "regular" burritos are under-sized. Can't seem to find a happy medium on their burritos.

I tried the beyond taco and did not like it at all. The regular food is good, but I was looking for a gluten free option. Service was fast and friendly.

Well it seems like today’s fast food workers don’t know how to up-sale. I was super hungry, so I forgot I wanted a shake. 😤 The worker made me feel rushed by asking me after every item “anything else?” Will I return to this location “yes” because it’s the only one close to my son’s place.

Cashier was uninterested in helping us right away. We ordered and she was not polite in greeting or thanking us. Makes the business look bad. Food was ok. I could make a taco at home with store bought shells that would have been better.

The service was okay. The price was not the greatest. The floors and tables were dirty. The place was easy to find. The neighborhood was okay. I wait a little bit. The food was okay. The parking was okay. They need more people to help people.

The service was prompt and friendly. The food was below average for not being busy. The ground beef looked like it had been sitting in a hot pan burning. Two portions of my order was wrong.

Food is ok but the last few times the tacos did not taste good the oil did not taste well. My son and i got sick. The one thing about Del Taco is that their french fries are good. The prices are reasonable too. Fast service sometimes the employees are friendly. Hope the food taste better next time .

Service is a big thing to me. In the food industry providing great customer service is priority. Unfortunately, at times it may be stressful. This is one of those times. Jasmine on night shift 8 pm drive thru and lobby cashier. Gave a bad impression to add had a lack of communication and attentiveness. Order was placed wrong. Nevertheless, kitchen staff was efficient and did not take time when correcting my order and my reciept. Once again something Cashier jasmine, did not even offer despite the customer service. Food was great.

So I'm from Chino retired elderly man of good character and I went with a woman from San dimas today Del taco for a bite to eat before movie matinee at regal Edwards. Never been in this neighborhood I was showing my date a video from you tube 1:30 and this tall white man in 50s told me to turn it off because he was eating and didn't want any thing to disturb him and wife I guess this del taco is a place I won't go back to or even Laverne

Used to be good, have had some low quality items though and have lost my appetite for Del Taco.

I don’t know why this particular Del Taco puts green sauce on everything. Cheddar quesadilla is inedible because you have to chew through the chilies in the green sauce. Red burrito? Nope, it’s going to be a green burrito. Extra cheese? Sure we’ll charge you, but good luck finding any cheese at all… Poor management always destroys employee morale and then you get horrible food and service. This is not Del “fresh”, It’s Del-cycled food. Honestly, ANY other location is worth the drive to save yourself from irritable bowels later. Edited 9/30/25 under new management: I wanted a 1/2 lb Red burrito with extra cheese, a regular coke, and chilli cheese fries - She kept asking “Do you want to add sour cream to burrito?” - “EWWW NO! I said extra cheese!!!” Whelp, I guess they passed off the last customer’s discard on me, because guess what? No extra cheese, just extra sour cream that wasn’t wrapped right. BUT the Chili Cheese Fries in the pic were just as good as they looked, after I got that nasty taste out of my mouth….

This place deserves zero stars. They are beyond slow. Order a double burger normal and get a single burger plain. They do not know how to take a simple order and make it correct lol pathetic.

Once again you've screwed up my order. You handed me some weird plastic sack of food that does not contain the quesadilla I was charged for and you just tossed everything in there, the fries are all spilled on top of everything. Take 5 extra seconds to do your job.

I was there with my family and I got the 2 for 6 burritos and the one I eat had like tobacco or something but I do not know who was on shift, but it is still scary when you smell and taste tobacco

Whomever was cooking the French fries on 12/30/2019 during a midshift contained norovirus(stomach flu) and spread it to the batch of French fries my nephew ate. By 8 o clock that night he was vomiting profusely and since it's highly contagious my entire family acquired the infection. Throwing up and everything else. Do not eat here unless you want to be poisioned by improper food handlers.

Fire everyone who was working Sat at 630p. Waited 35 minutes for fast food and had to ask for my Churos which took an extra 10 minutes. They offered more Churos, I told him what about my cold food waiting for Churos for the last 10 minutes. Horrible service! Never again

Service from the supervisor this Sunday evening was nothing short of abrupt, rude, and despicable, with such hate in her eyes and outright disdain for customers. Promote the stoner guy, at least he knows she's an outright spiteful woman. She will never convince me that chicken rollers come slathered in sour cream- I order them often and never had the issues I have had tonight. Will not be back, ever.

Horrible customer service. My boyfriend and I went through the drive-thru. We ordered food and a coke. The attendant was unfamiliar with taking phone app payments such as PayPal pay or Google pay...she handed us the coke and then said the payment method was not working so my boyfriend said im going to park and come in to try and or just get cash together so as not to hold up the line as we all know is bad now with covid. So we parked he went in and paid and she was on the phone calling cops I guess ...for a coke???!!!! After he paid her she did not even give him the food until he asked for it....what in the world is going on with these workers today ????

This location refused to take our order because they said we drove in after 11 pm. Apparently they close at 11 pm. Their hours on this site need to be updated. We got stuck in the drive thru for another 15 minutes behind the people in front of us, who clearly received their order despite the fact that they were supposedly closed. The staff never turned off the drive thru lights, so we watched as several people continued to go through the drive thru.

I’m on the drive throw around 20 minutes waiting Del Taco guy to serve the first customer. I don’t know why this restaurant really slow and employees there just one employee or two.

I used the drive thru to order burritos for 4 kids, all 4 burritos had a charred burnt taste. I called the restaurant as a courtesy, I reiterated I did not want anything for "free" I just wanted to bring it to their attention. The manager responded that the beans always get burned when they have new employees and unfortunately she'll have to use this batch before putting new beans out. They knowingly served inedible food to children and continued after being told.

Stopped at Del Taco around 7:15am. Drive thru. Caz I normally don't stop for breakfast, anywhere. O needed time read menu. I waited 8 min. I the only car in drive thru?? Pulled up to window, waited another 6 min. Finally was waited on. Happy had morn off. Would have been late into work. Wow no hustle here. Not happy with service.

The food is good, but the customer service is horrible. I went through the drive and the customer service was in a rush and this was in the morning and only 1 car in front of me and no car behind me. As i was ordering my first order they cutted me off and completed my order and did not offered me a drink for my order and i mentioned i had a coupon for the shrimp tacos but when i got to the window they were surprised i had a coupon even tho i mentioned it at the when ordering. I just ordered a double cheese burger and 3 little single cheeseburgers for my kids and all of our hamburger patties were so thin! Who even makes patties that thin?? They were like cheese slices and I mostly tasted bread and lettuce and tomato, I basically just gave my kids bread and a sliver of burger. 🤦‍♀️ not coming here again, what a waste. I bought mostly bread.

My husband went here and ordered at the drive thru and the employee tells him it's 45.00 which my husband ordered about 20 dollars at most...it got "corrected" then when he gets home we open the bag half the food is missing and the other half is completely wrong so my husband drove back to get it fixed and the manager said to the employee don't even help him. So my husband just left the food at the store.

I tried walking in to beat the 5 cars in line. Nobody at all in dining room. Ignored me to focus on drive thru. Thanks for raising the minimum wage to 20$. Now theres less workers. The LaVerne Del Taco is the worst! The robot that takes your order has more personality the the actual humans that work there. The girl was so rude and left food out of my order after assuring me everything was there. Won't go back there again.

Just attempted to go through the drive thru and order breakfast, sign clearly states breakfast till 11:00am, it's 10:50.. Employee states they are no longer serving breakfast. When pointed out that their posted hours is till 11:00am, the employee and manager where both rude in explaining that they are cooking chicken so they can't cook eggs. We regularly frequent this establishment and after the way we were treated today, we will NOT be returning. If you want Del Taco, go to a different one.

Soooo just went tonight and the drive-thru speaker doesn’t work that well. They could not hear my order at all!! I had to repeat it at the window several times for it to still be wrong!!!!! My son did not get he’s fries and I didn’t get my quesadilla (let’s not forget I have been charged for)!!!!!! By the time we both noticed we were already home and I don’t have the energy to call the store!! But now I have been overcharged for 2 items that I didn’t receive!! SMH.. I would love for this situation to be taken care of!! Update of the review: The manager and Del Taco were very prompt to respond and handle the situation. I am very satisfied with the result.

Everytime I come each drink I get tastes awful! I never leave reviews but numerous times I try to get raspberry tea- awful, so I moved to sprite- awful so this time I tried orange Fanta and it tastes like water with some chemical even the normal was a very faint orange. I’m at a loss of what to drink to get everytime I try one it’s watered down and taste like chemical

Went to pick up an order and it took longer than 10 minutes for an online order. After ten minutes i asked how much longer it would take, and the guy handling the drive thru just kept giving me the evil eyes, like asking for the order after ten minutes was the rudest thing on the planet. He said one person was making the food. Well if it is 12:30 pm and two guys are handling the front and there are 3 women in the back, maybe get more people on the line to help her since it is the lunch rush. Makes more sense to me

When I first arrived there it took the drive through person 3 minutes to even acknowledge me despite me saying hello and talking to the speaker the entire time. I specifically asked for no beans on my nachos and no onions and cilantro on my birria tacos. The worker even repeated it back to me because I made sure to reiterate that I specifically did not want onions or cilantro. So imagine my shock when I open up my food at home and see beans on my nachos and onions and cilantro on my tacos. It's absolutely ridiculous, there 2 cars in the drive through and no one inside the building how could they possibly mess up my order this bad and have such slow customer service. When I worked at wendys if an entire order took more than 4 minutes from driving up to the speaker to driving away with the food it was considered slow so I feel like taking 12 minutes to get my food is kinda ridiculous.

Got this chicken tender and fries box, got charged $0.70 PER SAUCE for both, and this is what I got compared to what is advertised. It tasted terribly cheap. No wonder there’s no one ever here. I’ll miss having this place for quick cheap eats but they just suck now in every way.
