Had the tocino bowl at Butter, and it absolutely delivered! The pork was tender with that classic sweet savory caramelization, and just a bit of crisp on the edges, so satisfying 👌🏼The egg was cooked perfectly with a runny yolk that tied everything together, and the pickled veggies added a nice crunch and tang that balanced out the richness. Portion size was solid, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The casual vibe and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious, comforting Filipino inspired meal with great flavor and presentation

I have been to this location a few times before I was able to also visit the Upland location. It has improved customer service wise since the last time I came. I have always dined in but this time decided to order togo. Placed an order on the phone pretty easy, and when I arrived my order was already ready. Besides the Breakfast burrito (which is a must try if you haven’t) this time we decided to try some other items. Chilaquiles- This basically reminds me of ordering super nachos from a Mexican restaurant, except with eggs on top. This was not bad of a dish, the only complaint I have is that one of the yolks broke and pretty much made the box soggy by the time I was able to eat it at home. I believe I would only order it next time dining in Griddled Veggie - My wife loved how this sandwich was, almost reminds us of a Philly cheesesteak but obviously veggie and a lot more healthier. Would definitely order this again in the future. If you are also thinking about what other food is good, I like to mention that their country fried steak and loco moco are pretty good as well! They have espresso machine, and a huge menu. UPDATE May 2024: Even though my last review of this place was over 2 years ago, this is still a place that me and my wife would visit regularly. The food has always been consistent and it seems like they have worked out staffing where there is more people to make sure things run smoothly. The line can definitely get long so improving on this was great. We recently have started trying some different dishes, and discovered their custom omelette and their Eggs Benedict. You get to choose 3 different ingredients you want inside the omelette and you get to have it with a side of your choice like salad or tater tots. Same thing with the Benedict you also get to have a side, and as always they have pretty generous portions. I always have to get an oat milk latte here, they definitely use a different type of oat milk then other places, it is quite smooth. Just thought it would be a time to refresh my review, and I can happily say this place is consistent , and continues to bring a great experience each time. Great to have a breakfast place like this exist!

Best breakfast burritos!! I love the crispiness the tater tots bring to the breakfast burritos. It's probably my favorite part of the burrito. I found it super unique that they included beans in the breakfast burrito too. The seating is very spacious, open, and inviting. If I want to spend the day eating breakfast with my best friend, aka my dog, then they have plenty of outdoor seating for both of us. The loud speaker makes it easy to hear when my order is ready. The staff is friendly and helpful and gave me options for which type of meat I wanted in my burrito. The cookies are amazing as well! I tried the Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookie, but would love to try them all. Until next time!

Great vibes. Definitely can get crowded and wkend. Good parking. They offer gF baked goods, which is unique. Love their food selection. Inhaled their tater tots, perfectly crisp and it’s shareable. They also offer some Hawaiian / Filipino breakfast options, which makes them unique. Just wasn’t a fan of their drinks. I’ve ordered two lattes from them now, and my London fog tasted watered down.

Promising newer find! Hubs and I wanted to try something new and had been hearing great things about Butter Cafe. It does not disappoint! I had the BLTA with green salad, (see photo). He enjoyed the Cobb salad. I would have preferred a different dressing on my salad, although I don't remember being asked. All in all, a 👍👍 from us on our first visit. I'm excited to try more from the menu!

The food here is really delicious. The pancakes were light and fluffy and the syrup was perfect. The French toast was super tasty but would have been just as good with a tad less Nutella on top. Service was very friendly as well. The atmosphere was average. They have a lot of delicious bakery options up front for take home. The establishment itself is like a dine-in/fast food hybrid. You get disposable everything (which didn't bother me). The food is not something to look over and definitely is worth a taste. If you are a light eater I suggest sharing a meal.

Wanted to try this new place nearby. Their furniture and interior seemed pretty unfinished. They could definitely use some more decor to up the vibes, the tables & chairs seemed a bit off putting. I wanted to find a good place to sit but not much seemed that appealing. Also the plates were single use along with the utensils, which is kind of interesting with the price you pay for the dish. Ordered an iced chai latte w/ oat milk and it was pretty good! It reminded me of cinnamon toast crunch milk, you definitely have to drink it fast before it gets watered down. The breakfast burrito and french toast portions were huge, so at least you get your money's worth somewhat. The bread of the french toast itself was kind of dry and doughy, but the whipped cream was semi-sweet and I liked that. It was hard to finish though. The breakfast burrito with chorizo tasted fresh so it was solid as well. The tortilla was crispy & warm and the seasoning was flavorful. It was filling and the salsa it came with was good. I think Butter Cafe & Bakery is pretty decent but they could definitely make some improvements to make people feel more comfortable! It was ok for the price. I think next time I'd just get a drink and a pastry/cookie.

The food is good but it is a walk up order experience with single use plastic cups and utensils. Single use condiments. Single use plates (at least they are paper based). Bathroom was dirty and kind of gross with a urinal. The white paint on the walls is filthy, especially near the restroom. Our table and seats were sticky.

I had the BLT, but I was not impressed. The white bread was tasteless (cheap, low quality ?), but the other ingredients OK, a generous serving of fries was included. I noticed a couple of employees eating at the pass through window, waiting for meals to be picked up, I would think that this should not be allowed. The dining area is stark, nothing to breakup the noisy sounds of conversations and employees yelling for customers to pickup their orders. Softly recommended, hope the next visit will be better.
