First tine here. The waiter was so personable and very helpful! The food was outstanding! The pork skewers are to die for! Seriously get them you won’t be sorry. Pork was so tender with great flavor. The Thai dumplings were thick and tasty. I had the pad see ew & it was the best I ever had. The waiter said that they hand make the noodles and I will dream about those noodles until I have them again. They were so delicate and soft. My friend had the pad Thai. Got some pineapple fried rice to go. Can’t wait to go back & explore the rest of the menu. Worth every penny. Chill atmosphere. They are open till 3 AM!

I've tried many Thai restaurants in Tampa, and what makes this one stand out is its perfectly balanced seasoning—nothing is overdone! Their dishes maintain authentic Thai flavors without being overly strong or overwhelming; everything is just right. We came in quite late, but their food instantly reignited our appetite! I highly recommend every dish we ordered: green curry, panang curry, Thai fried rice, pad kee mao, tom kha soup, and their delicious Thai iced tea. Trust me, you can't go wrong with these choices! I love the people who work here; they are warm and friendly. It's such a pleasure to chat with them, and being here makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! Food was fantastic, completely authentic! Great portions for the price. Finally an authentic, delicious Thai restaurant in the Wesley Chapel area! Hours are as stated and I called to confirm bc it does seem odd but hey, at least it means you can get some really good late night eats without having to sacrifice quality and end up at taco bell! Called in a pick up order and the gentlemen did advice me that they had a very large order placed before us so it would take longer than expected. Was about an hour from order but will not fault them on that bc he gave me a heads up and chance to back out if needed. So kudos on great service for the notice! Thanks again for the delicious food!!

This is probably some of the best Thai food we have ever had. We had some Chicken Green Curry, Shrimp Pad Ke Mao and Pork Phad Prig. Each dish had its own unique flavor. Just an awesome experience. Since this is a new family run business, service is slow. The place is very basic. However, the flavorful food more than makes up for all the shortcomings.

Don’t judge the place by the outside appearance. Our friends come here often. The hours are a little odd compared to standard restaurants. They opened a little early for us to host a birthday gathering. The food was delicious. The staff is friendly, personable and attentive. This is authentic Thai food. Everyone enjoyed their meal and appetizers. Sodas are canned soda, which is a pricey. There was plenty of parking since it is in a strip mall and their hours are later than neighboring businesses.

An amazing hole in a wall. Totally run by a family. Fantastic flavors in every item we ordered. The son-in-law takes care of the front while the rest of the family is in the back making sure the food is delicious. We ordered vegiterian spring rolls, Tom Yum soup, eggplant dish, drunken noodles and the gree curry. They were all very delicious. Enjoy the home cooking before it gets too commercial.

I am a Foodie and Thai is my favorite cuisine so finally had an opportunity to catch this late night family-owned Thai restaurant when it is open which is usually from 8pm to 3am on designated days of the week. I decided to make the most of this opportunity so ordered almost everything on the menu to sample and,oh my goodness, the flavors are out of this world. I ordered, the Krab Rangoon, Steamed pot stickers, Pineapple Fried Rice , Cashew Nut Stir Fry, Pad Thai, Panang Curry and a Thai iced tea. Everything was absolutely delicious. Compliments to the Chef. They elevate the flavors of every single dish. I am so glad I got to try so many things. All this food will last a week. The other thing that makes this such a wonderful place is the warm service and interior decor. There were several repeat late night owl customers there with me at 1:30am all exclaiming how wonderful the food is and engaged in light hearted conversation with the owner. I am so glad I discovered this place that I never knew existed. It is right next to Brunchies, one of my favorite places to frequent for breakfast. If you want exceptional Thai food.This is definitely the best spot.

Don’t judge this gem by its cover! Roong Aroon Thai Café may not look like much from the outside — it’s definitely more of a “hole-in-the-wall” vibe — but step inside and you’re in for a treat. The food and service here are truly outstanding. The seating is limited, with about five four-top tables and a couple of bar stools, so I wouldn’t recommend it for large groups. That said, it’s perfect for a casual dinner or a late-night bite (yes, they’re open until 3 AM as advertised, though they did mention they sometimes open a bit later on Sundays). We ordered the yellow curry and pad Thai — both dishes came out steaming hot and packed with flavor. The yellow curry was rich and comforting; my only tiny wish is for just a little more rice, but that seems to be the case at most places. The pad Thai was perfectly seasoned and balanced — not overly sweet or salty. For drinks, I had the Thai tea with boba, which was sweet, creamy, and absolutely delicious. My daughter loved her strawberry milk tea, which was equally tasty. One small suggestion would be to offer a basic kids’ menu for picky eaters — something like chicken nuggets, corn dogs, or even pizza would go a long way for families. They don’t offer direct delivery, but you can always use your favorite delivery service or call ahead for takeout. All in all, Roong Aroon is a hidden gem worth discovering. Friendly staff, amazing food, and a cozy atmosphere — highly recommend!

So… there I was minding my own business, sleeping in my bed when the phone rings and my daughter says Mom I found this great cafe that stays open till 3:00 am that serves the best Curry! You want to check it out now? I said yes, who needs to sleep when Curry awaits?That is how our Midnight Adventure began. We arrived at Roong Aroon Thai Cafe about 1:00 am. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Spicy Green Curry, my daughter had Eggplant with Basil. We shared a lovely Red Curry and an order of Fried Spring Rolls. The servings were very generous and filling. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I really enjoyed our Midnight Adventure,however the cafe has regular hours also. 8:00 pm to 3:00 am. I highly recommend Roong Aroon Thai Cafe to anyone who enjoys authentic Thai Cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere with generous servings and attentive staff.

Just moved to Wesley Chapel and kept noticing this little Thai cafe that stays open late every time I pass by on my way to EOS Gym. After a late-night workout session tonight, I finally decided to stop in for dinner — and I’m so glad I did! It’s a cozy, charming spot with tons of personality. First impression? Our server was absolutely amazing — super friendly, personable , and clearly a favorite among the regulars! We started with the curry rangoons, which I’ve never seen before — and wow, they were dangerously addictive! The perfect balance of cream cheese and curry without either overpowering the other. I ordered the shrimp pad see ew and was blown away. The noodles were thick, bouncy, and perfectly cooked. The Chinese broccoli added a great texture and was full of flavor. My fiancé got the red curry (ordered hot) and it was actually spicy — in the best way! Super flavorful and rich. He loved it and already plans to try the Thai hot next time. Everything was also very reasonably priced and good portion! Can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu!

It's a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy fantastic Thai cuisine!!! Recently visited the new Roong Aroon Thai spot that just opened up in our area, and I'm beyond excited to share my experience, hoping to convince more people to give this gem a try! First off, we started with the Thai Dumplings, which were a revelation - juicy, tender, surprisingly large, and utterly delicious. Then, the Tom Yum soup with shrimp didn't disappoint either, boasting generous portions of shrimp and a broth that was rich in flavors. For mains, we indulged in Pad Thai with chicken and a Massamun Chicken Curry. Both dishes were served in huge portions, packed with meat. The curry, in particular, had a tender flavor that felt very authentic and just melted in the mouth. What also stood out was the design of the place - clean, modern, very bright, and comforting. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that complements the dining experience perfectly. Special shoutout to our waiter, Nattanon (he likes to be called Da), whose cheerful demeanor, helpfulness, and professionalism added so much to our visit. He gave us some great suggestions and was attentive to our preferences. For anyone in Wesley Chapel, Lutz, and all nearby areas, I can't recommend this place enough. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy fantastic Thai cuisine.

This is our go to Thai restaurant when we want Thai food late at night on the weekend. The server/host is always so friendly and attentive and the food is always super fresh and made with love. I particularly love their basil fried rice and the crab Rangoon (it has curry spice inside it). The restaurant currently has limited capacity but it’s so worth the wait!

We’ve been trying to find a good Thai restaurant in Tampa for a while now, and this place absolutely nailed it. Everything we ordered was delicious. The drunken noodles had the perfect amount of heat and fresh basil. It’s my go to dish and they did it better than anywhere else I’ve tried around Tampa. The Panang curry was so rich and creamy, I was practically drinking the sauce. We also got the pad basil which was just as good. Super flavorful and well balanced. Portions were huge too. We thought about ordering a fourth dish and I’m glad we didn’t because we barely finished what we had. The Thai iced tea was the perfect way to cool down between bites. Sweet, refreshing, and exactly what you want with a spicy Thai meal. Big bonus if you’re vegetarian. They have a ton of plant based options and don’t treat it like an afterthought. Everything we had was packed with authentic Thai flavor regardless. Staff was friendly, food came out fast, and the whole experience just felt right. Easily the best Thai food in Tampa we’ve had. We’re already talking about when we’re going back. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food in the Tampa Bay area, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

I cannot overstate how excellent the food here is. I've had dozens of iterations of pad thai from countless restaurants, and when I ordered it from here I felt like I was having it for the first time. Savory, sweet, spicy, seasoned incredibly. You will not regret trying this place.

I said they must call at 759pm to place their order. We were the only ones dining in, it took a few to be served but we well were well acknowledged by the sole front staff. He was also personable and that I always love. We had chicken pot stickers, hubby had the basil fried rice and I had the prig khing. Hubby and I said mild heat, his was ok but mine was too spicy, couldn't enjoy it much. My hubby had made up his mind he liked the other Thai place we visited. The food is fresh and hot and obviously made to order. Ironically another to-go customer came in and complained about the last minute change to opening the week prior. Our server explained how the time it takes to prepare food and the space they have and sometimes they do not have items on the menu and prefer not to disappoint customers. Very genuine and transparent and I appreciate it! They also evidently have their loyal customer base because at no time did the place stay empty our time there with take out orders/pickups coming through.
