Our experience at Via Italia was an 11/10! Our server Virginia was the best! She answered any questions we had and her service was excellent! The food was top tier, it felt like we were in Italy. We had the perfect bruschetta to start, our main entrees were the prosciutto di parma pizza & lasagna. Both were amazing! We also enjoyed a lemon olive oil cake & ricotta and pistachio cake for dessert! Absolutely recommend this place !

Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Very nice and clean restaurant. Food bursting with flavor, seriously the bruschetta was the best I’d ever had. The pasta was spot on and the half size plates were great sizing and price (I love that the restaurant offers that). Top notch tiramisu. Also so many vegetarian options and they are accommodating if you want something removed. We left with every plate completely cleared.

¡Mama Mia! Excellent Italian restaurant! Order the Chicken Pesto pizza, and the presentation and flavor wowed us. Also ordered the Nutella Fruity-the name says it all. From the moment you step into the restaurant, the service is friendly, the restaurant is clean and pleasant, and the atmosphere is easygoing. Big shout-out to Brianna! Thank you!

One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants which we go to all the time. They have a wide variety of Italian pasta and pizza menu options. The desserts are also great especially their crepes. For our most recent dinner on “buy one pasta get one half off” Saturday night my wife had spinach tortellini and I had Spaghetti Siciliano with meatballs. We both enjoyed our meals and they were very fast with the order and the portions were sizable as usual. My wife also had a Aperol Spritzer. We recommend this restaurant, it can be crowed for dinner.

This place is exceptional! My husband and I found this place at the last min because it was close to our hotel room and I’m glad we did. We ordered the Woodfire wings and the Calabrian style buffalo chicken pizza. I anlso had a pistachio martini that was pleasing. All of the food was super fresh. You can really taste the love and all the fresh ingredients in the dishes. Our server was Dominic and he was great ! The owner is very cool and down to earth. You will not be disappointed when you come here ! Definitely coming back !

We just happened on this place while looking for a new lunch spot. The service was great! We took the recommendations of the server, and I’m so glad we did. The food was excellent and this place has such a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back. There are so many menu items, I’m eager to try more! (My photos are not the best because my mouth ate before my camera did 🤣 so good!)

This is my third time here and the food is always so good. I love that they have a half pasta option—it leaves me room for the tiramisu. :) It’s a pretty small spot and can get crowded, but it’s great for couples or small groups. Last time I even saw a big group of friends and they looked like they were having Fun.

This is now one of our favorites. We just come in and get a couple of appetizers and a pizza. We have also had their past before and it is amazing. This time for dessert we tried the banana split. The food is always amazing. Angelica is our favorite server!

4.5 stars for me! When an establishment is filled w/ regulars, & an Italian restaurant hosts numerous customers sporting Italian accents, you KNOW you are in the right place! I eat here often. Their dishes are always excellent. Service is as well. The bar stools are usually full. Cleanliness is paramount. I wholeheartedly recommend not leaving your table before paying $25 for the BEST fig jam woodfired pizza ANYWHERE! I have introduced it to many, & all are now addicts:) SEE PIC! It's even delicious on Day #2 after a stint in my air fryer! I love anything the chefs create that is accompanied by this restaurant's DELICIOUS red sauce, including their Egg Plant Lasagna. Their pasta w/ vodka sauce is primo! And the other pastas are worthy contenders. If you want a delicious salad, opt for the one w/ walnuts-- Mmmmmmm... just wonderful! And don't forget to try their crepes & many Italian desserts! THIS NEW TAMPA area restaurant should be on your calendar! Definitely AUTHENTIC ITALIAN❤️

We love the burrata caprese, woodfired wings (go spicy with Calabrian if you like that), and their crepes are huge and must be split between two. Special callout to Leia who always greets me with kindness and excitement no matter what time of the day. As someone who is dealing with quite a bit of personal and family health struggles I hope she knows that her smile and sweetness are as comforting as a warm hug from someone who understands we are all dealing with a lot. Be kind to your servers and hostesses, everyone, because you never know what we are all dealing with. Thank you Via Italia, you guys are the best!!!!

🍕 Pepperoni Pizza Really good wood fire pizza. Different than other places crust wise with a notable semolina crusted undercarriage. The ingredients on the pizza are top quality. Great Mozerella Cheese especially. Sauce is very good but a tad on the sweet side. Not a deal breaker by any stretch. Cup and char peperoni was also top quality. In my photo that was an extra sauce. 🍗 Wings.... Fantastic. If you haven't had wood or coal fired wings before you are missing out. These wings are on point. Had the regular and the Calabrian chili. The Calabrian had a great flavor and slightly spicy. Maybe a 6/10. Not hot just to be hot. Tasty hot. Some blue cheese would of been nice with these. 🍝 Bucatini Amatriciana Very good recipe. Made correctly. Quality pasta. Not al dente as I would of preferred. 🇮🇹 BOLOGNESE LASAGNA solid recipe. Not the best cook on it. Was a tad on the mushy side and offered no crispy parts. Not in top or bottom. Had enough Bechemel and The actual meat was solid with a aftertaste of wine. Slightly. Smaller portion then most Italian Kitchens. 🍰 Desserts (Docked 1 star) Tiramisu - good portion. Frozen. Wasn't fully thawed out. Was tasty though hard to say how good it was arround the icyness. Chocolate Cake - Tasty but had a freezer taste to it. Was not freezer burned just absorbed that freezer scent taste thing.. Canolli - Ricotta filled. Solid but nothing great and nothing not great. And the staff...... Very very very friendly and effecient. Our server Bri was very friendly, smiling and a happy person. Somthing hard to find in today's day and age. We will be back for sure.

Unfortunately, they don't carry the Pineapple Topping which I believe is the life of a Pizza (as far as for the people who like Pineapple). The sauce was little different in taste compared to the traditional cheese pizza but we were not aware about the spread. I would suggest that when taking the order, the server should let the guests know what kinds of sauce and spread would be there on the Pizza. The server who attended our table was okay and didn't give us more information. The day we went here, it was too busy and we had to wait for couple of minutes.

The food and drinks were really good. The espresso martini was my favorite and probably one of the best I've had in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area. However, it does get pricey. Still worth it and its a nice place or date night!

Amazing service on a busy night in a cute place! Started with prosciutto bruschetta which was the best! Perfect for 2. I had the Sicilian spaghetti which had a sauce that was kinda glue-y and not creamy like i hoped. My bf had the alla norma which was delightful, the fried eggplant pieces in there were delightful and crispy. Espresso martini was a perfect "dessert" definitely would go back and try more menu items!!

Another struggle finding good italian food and good pizza school after searching while I was visiting my cousin in new temple searching and searching and searching for pizza shop. I came across this place. Okay, I'm gonna be brutally honest. It wasn't that bad UN the anticipated or under expected, so I was Pleasantly, partially, I'm satisfied. It could have been a little better. The sauce was a little off. II just don't understand I. I'm getting so disappointed in the city of Tampa. This whole Hillsboro county, just when it comes to culinary, they're falling to the bottom of the barrel. I'm so sorry, restaurants, but This is what's going on i would order from them again. I would. I would give the pizza out of ten, they get a 7 but that would be it, and that would be the highest I I just don't know.Maybe my taste palette is super spoiled from living and one of the graded food cities in this country, which is New York. I'm sorry, maybe new yorkers are food. Snobs, but if you don't believe that is true, fly out to New York, go on vacation? Send me a message and I'll send you to some of the best restaurants. For your culinary experience that you would probably just sell your house in Tampa to stay in New York, but as far as this restaurant I wanna go over topic. It was a strong contender for follow-up visit. Next, i'm gonna try these sandwiches and and pizza again

We ordered two pizzas and overall they were good — solid quality, cooked properly, and exactly what you’d expect from a wood-fired spot. The crust had a nice texture and the ingredients tasted fresh. That said, if I’m being completely honest, there wasn’t a big “wow” factor. The flavors were balanced and enjoyable, but nothing that really set it apart in a memorable way. Where this place truly shines is the atmosphere. It’s inviting, comfortable, and feels like somewhere you can sit, relax, and actually enjoy the experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel smooth from start to finish. Overall, it’s a strong 4-star experience — great vibe, good food, and a place I’d return to, even if I’m still looking for that standout signature flavor.
