Had breakfast for lunch and got served minutes before the end of the lunch serving time. Great service and delicious food.

Great all meat omelette. And friendly service. Plus the steak and gravy.

Just moved a Lake Isabella and finally got to try the great food at the Dam Korner. We had breakfast the eggs and bacon and the corn beef and hash the first time the second time we had omelettes. Really good food had a great price. You have to try the cinnamon roll! It’s huge and can easily satisfy the sweet teeth of two! Closes early but worth the time to check out

I love the cabin like feel. I had some IPAs. I came from Australia and this felt like a traditional pub like in Australia in a rural town. Loved the fish and chips.

I wish so much that we got the name of our sweet little waitress to give a shout out to, but unfortunately we didn’t. Not only was the food one of the best we’ve had out since we can remember, but the service from our waitress just made the whole experience worth that much more. We do a lot of dining out, and have crossed paths with many waiters and waitresses, but this particular girl just made our dining experience that much better. You can tell a fake personality from one that just spreads joy wherever they are, and this girl definitely did. Thank you to whoever you are and hope you see this to get some recognition

Just finished the best Chicken Fried Steak I've had in years. They make the real deal here. Pounded round steak, chicken drippings in the gravy, and a nice crunchy crust, and dont get me started on the 'taters! Definitely a 10 out of 10. Friendly service and a reasonable price. If you're headed to Lake Isabella, don't miss out!

I love the new look! It is beautiful! I've eaten there about 5 times now. Always great food and great service. My breakfast was two full meals. One dish is way too much food for one person. I'd prefer seeing lower breakfast prices and smaller portion sizes.

The food was really good at the Dam Corner. The biscuits and gravy are fantastic. I also had the chicken fried steak that was also really good. I could tell it was hand made. It wasn't that premade store bought junk that some other places sell. I would highly recommend this place for a first time visitor to the Kern River Valley. Enjoy the great food, helpful wait staff, and beautiful environment.

What a find! We stopped here for breakfast and were delightfully surprised how perfect the food and service was! Large proportions, too! Good sized parking lot with ♿accessible access to the restaurant as well as the restrooms. Fast and friendly service! This will be a favorite of ours!

Great diner! Our server was Tonie - she was friendly and accommodating. Our food came less than 10 minutes after we ordered. It was hot and delicious. I had a large biscuits and gravy and my husband had a regular french toast. Again, both were very tasty. We will definitely be coming back when we're in the area and I recommend you do as well! 🙂

OMG!! If you ever visit Lake Isabella, stop at DAM KORNER. They have amazing coffee, biscuits and gravy and the cinnamon roll...your big back ain't ready!!! The cinnamon rolls are perfection!!! They are not overly sweet and are served with butter on top. YUM!! 😋😋😋 I came for dinner and had the fish and chips. Those were just ok. My friends had the burger that she really loved and they had the ribeye that he loved. Everyone loved the French fried.

It's homemade gormet food, so if you're expecting black tie service, go back to L. A. This is my new go-to when I return. For sure, order crispy hash browns. Toast perfect! Fries delish!Savored every bite! Sis had chocolate milk (with syrup, not powder so really creamy!) & I had raspberry tea, which was SO GOOD! Then for dessert, choc & vanilla combo milkshake, yum!

I had the Classic Cobb Salad with chicken. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was good, and even the blue cheese dressing was tasty. The wait staff was busy, but they still found time to check in on our table frequently. Overall top marks for a diner-style restaurant.

This has officially become our go-to breakfast spot. The food is consistently good, the staff is friendly, and while the service can be a bit laid-back, it fits the relaxed vibe of the area. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town!

We stopped here on our way out to get breakfast. The waitress was inviting and very nice. We did not feel rushed or uncomfortable in anyway. Our breakfast was sensational cooked to order exactly what we asked for. We will definitely stop again next year to eat here. I see the bad reviews below when I just don’t get it. I think there are just too many Karen’s in the world.

I remember this place in the 80's! I love all the upgrades that kept the areas mountain feel. The service is tip top! The food is yummy home cooking!

My wife and I haven't been here in years. Tried it out again, it was great! Everything was cooked perfectly and got the best French toast I've ever had. Simple! Basic delicious French Toast. I'm about to head back again. Update: their food is still pretty good. They probably got the best French toast in Isabella. We've always had good service here. No complaints.

Got my usually bacon cheeseburger and fries. The food was good, but didn’t think it was spectacular. Service was EXCELLENT! Chrissy a real nice and attentive with our drinks. Worth a stop if you are in the area. I’ll come back if I’m passing through again.

Cheese burgers are so tiny now that it’s like eating a slider. They use to be so big that I could save half for later. Onion rings were great and service always wonderful. They should go back to making burgers big like before. Buns are so tiny.

Your listed top rated, ordered meatlovers omelets, bacon, sausage was alittle over cooked, ham was ok and egg was great, but I only visit Lake Isabella once every 6 months

I might've ordered the wrong thing. I almost never get biscuits and gravy but based on reviews I tried it. Thought it was going to be a really good homemade gravy with lots of sausage in it. Almost no meat in it. Heavy and gross with almost no seasoning. Had to put a lot of salt and pepper. Could feel my arteries hardening. But the server was friendly and the place is easy to find to meet someone else in the town if you are not familiar with the town.

The waiting time is the longest in all the restaurants I have been to. I just waited for 45 minutes to order, and I don't know how long it will take to wait for the food! So I left.Hungry people are not advised to eat in this restaurant. The service is poor
