She is professional, kind and extremely detail oriented. She has a heart for food allergies and will triple check everything on your order. She’s a young mom to 5+ young children. She is used to multitasking and never forgets your name or your favorites! Kelly Peters is well versed on the menu, offers recommendations and ensures your meal is picture perfect and 💯 safe to eat. Kelly’s personality and professionalism will have you returning to F&D often because you’ll feel like family not just another patron. Recently, F&D raised their prices approximately $2 per item. The base salad was $15 and is now $17 dollars. That said, most of their serving sizes are large. You can easily make two meals from one serving on most options. They also use local and fresh ingredients from local farms. It shows in the presentation and taste. F&D is more expensive than other local restaurants but the quality and serving sizes make F&D the most economical and delicious choice in town. You’re missing out if you choose to go elsewhere. F&D will not disappoint. If you choose Kelly Peters as your waitress, you’ll never regret it. 💞 Personally, I love the blue cheese wedge salad, baked chicken, mashed potatoes and asparagus with a sparkling bottled water. Can’t say enough about how great the food was here!! We came for Magical Dining. I had a ceasar salad that was absolutely fantastic, and we ordered the Japanese milk bread as well, which was unbelievably fluffy and delicious. But the highlight was of course the entrees — we had the center cut filet and the NY strip, which was off the regular menu. They were phenomenal!! I haven’t had steak that amazing in a while. For dessert we had the brownie — which was delicious. Yasmin was our server and was super friendly, knowledgeable, and great. We’ll definitely be back!!

Awesome service from start to finish. Even with the bar completely full, they went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. F & D Kitchen is a modern steakhouse with a spacious bar and dining area, a long menu, and fabulous drinks. We made our reservation only 24 hours in advance and were seated promptly. Ashley was our server and she was excellent—attentive and friendly. We did Magical Dining and also tried some appetizers from the main menu. The steak was phenomenal, as were the beef salad, crabcake, and steak appetizer. Dessert was the crème brûlée cheesecake—rich, filling, and absolutely worth it. I tried the peach old-fashioned (good, but light on peach) and the classic old-fashioned, which hit the spot. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean, and the staff was warm and professional. I’d definitely go back, especially to sit at the bar. Everything about the experience was worth another visit.

Our server Britany was beyond the best. We came on Christmas Eve and she was excited and joked around with our family. Super attentive service and made sure everything was perfect for our family dinner.

I visited F+D Steakhouse for a group dinner with my coworkers, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. We had a last minute change in our reservation to accommodate a larger group, and both the hostess and our waiter were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their flexibility made everything run smoothly, and we truly appreciated how welcoming and attentive the staff was throughout the evening. We ordered family style to try a little bit of everything, and every dish we had was excellent. The standout was the 24 oz ribeye — it was cooked to perfection with a beautiful, flavorful char on the outside and tender, juicy meat inside. The seasoning was spot on and really brought the steak to life. The sides were just as impressive. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich without being overly heavy, and the mushroom side dish was savory and well seasoned, adding a great balance to the meal. F+D Steakhouse delivered both in flavor and in service. The environment was warm, upscale, and relaxed — perfect for a work dinner or special occasion. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top tier steakhouse experience.

Overall ok place, thought would be better, prices not bad. Filet beef stroganoff was mediocre, more mushrooms than anything else and VERY salty, oyster Rockefeller was delicious. Japanese Milk bread was amazing Service was fantastic

We go about once a week when we are in town for the past couple of years. Decent steaks. We love the milk bread. nice bartenders, great sides creative drinks. Fun happy hour as well!

Wow, I didn't realize that this gem was right in my backyard. Celebrated my BDay with a party of 9, got the back room which was perfect. 7 of the 9 had never been and was amazed by the food. ---- The service was outstanding, and the food was even better... not to mention the ambient Laryn Hill playing in the background. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller, which were amazing. You get 4 very large Oysters, perfectly seasoned on a bed of Pink Himalayan rock salt. It came out with their Japanese Milk Bread accompanied by their honey citrus butter, all amazing. For our mains, we got the Surf and Turf and the boneless ribeye, and we split the loaded mash. The Filet was seasoned and prepared perfectly. The Lobster was juicy, flavorful, and also cooked to perfection. The ribeye flavored nicely and perfectly prepared. I got the steak sauce, and my daughter got the truffle butter. The truffle butter is the way to go, hands down. I will definitely be back!

Our first time dining at the F&D Steakhouse, we couldn’t have been more impressed. We enjoyed my Father’s Day dinner very much, service from Rachel was excellent, timing on the courses was great. The Japanese milk bread was hot with a melty , citrus coating and came with a soft butter, not sure if this a true Japanese dish but it’s very tasty. I had the prime center cut 8oz filet and it was cooked to perfection, and very flavorful. The wife had the filet medallions which were tasty too. We like to bring wine from our own home wine collection when we dine at nice restaurants, we appreciated the staff accommodating us. Note that this is an expensive restaurant and while there are several other high end steakhouses in the Lake Mary area, both larger and more well known, you would be hard pressed to find a better overall experience. This was our first visit but certainly not our last.

Celebrating the day after for Valentine’s Day, Johnny was our server and did such a phenomenal job! He recommended the beet salad that Chef Alex took over a month to execute perfectly. Johnny was very attention to detail and met every one of our needs. Everything from start to finish was wonderful & we look forward to our next dinning experience and will be requesting Johnny as well!

Yasmine was a very attentive and informative server. My ribeye was Pittsburgh and one of the best I’ve ever had. My wife’s lobster and shrimp pappardale was perfect. The whiskey selection was exceptional. We will be back.

F&D Prime Modern Steakhouse was already a win, but Yasmin made it unforgettable. From a genuine welcome to thoughtful pacing, she anticipated what we needed without hovering. Her drink and appetizer recs were spot on, steaks came out exactly to temp, and she checked in at just the right moments. Professional, warm, and truly attentive Yasmin turned a great dinner into a special night. 10/10, would ask for her again!

Absolutely a wonderful experience. The food (steak, lobster Mac & cheese, raw oysters, mushrooms, Japanese milk bread) were being our expectations. The service was impeccable and the adult beverage was on point. There was so much food that we have to take a lot of it with us. Wish I could have given 10 stars. We’ll be back!

The steakhouse has phenomenal food and is a great dinning experience. Everything was had a unique and intentional flavor that will have me crawling back. The atmosphere is ideal for any dinning type. My favorite part was our waitress Elizabeth. Elizabeth was such a gem of a server attending to us very well while also respecting conversations during the business dinner. Her personality was really shining with her engaging jokes and enthusiasm towards the menu and guests. She made us all feel very comfortable and connected to the dinning experience. I would 10/10 come back and specially request Elizabeth again.

This was a wonderful time, I went to celebrate my birthday an our server Kelly was a delight!! The food was absolutely amazing, we got surf and turf, dry aged steak, lobster Mac and cheese, and loaded mashed potatoes. The drink were tasty and strong. We appreciate the attention to detail and the atmosphere. We will be back for another celebration.

Britany was fantastic! She was so friendly and attentive. Best steak I’ve ever had. If you come you have to try the milk bread, it is one of the main reasons we like eating here. This was our first time visiting F&D Prime and we had an excellent experience!!! Made reservations to celebrate our 40th Anniversary and wanted to do something special and everything about our night didn’t disappoint! From my afternoon call with the hostess to find out the temperature of the restaurant to the fresh brewed coffee to finish our night. It was a Monday so it wasn’t very busy, but there was still enough people in the restaurant to give you a feel for the relaxed vibe. Our server, Kelly was Excellent and did a great job explaining the menu options to us as well as portion sizes to help us decide what we were going to eat. And she did not exaggerate at all about the size of the side dishes. We ordered two with our meal and brought plenty home to enjoy at another meal. From the oysters, Rockefeller and the Buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer to the ribeye that we shared with the brussels sprouts and cream spinach.! And I must not forget about the Japanese milk rolls with the honey citrus butter that were just out of this world! This will definitely become a regular stop to celebrate special occasions. It may seem a little bit pricey, but for the atmosphere and level of service, it was definitely worth it.!

Most fancy steakhouses we have eaten at around Orlando area we find are not worth the price you pay. This place is well worth it. Everything we had was delicious and there was nothing that we could possibly fault them on. Excellent food, excellent service, and a classy atmosphere that takes itself just seriously enough. Jasmyn our server was perfect and absolutely lovely. 10/10 no notes.

I came from Canada in September the 27 to be exact, and for a week prior I was talking with the staff ( even tho I have never been there before ) and they helped me set up the perfect proposal to my at the time girlfriend, and everything went perfectly and she’s now my fiancé, the food was great, the setup was beautiful, the staff was extremely friendly and inviting, and you can tell when people are being genuine or just being nice because it’s their job, and they were genuine. They went above and beyond in every capacity, made the experience incredible. Can’t say enough good about this place, the manager came out multiple times to see how everything was going, the waitress was fast and efficient and super friendly and caring, all the other staff that didn’t even work at our table were friendly and congratulated us etc. I’ll be happy to take her there again for an anniversary dinner! Thanks for everything!

Amber was the most wonderful server. She was able to paint a clear and appetizing picture of the menu, as well as providing top notch service for myself and my family. We had the best experience because of her personable vibe and attention to detail.

Our waiter, Jae, was amazing! Very knowledgeable of all menu items. He was very patient with my mother with her concern on making sure her steak was prepared the way she liked. Jae was very attentive our entire visit. Very good job and would look forward to having him as a waiter on our next visit. Everything from our drinks to our desserts were top notch. We love dining here.

Went to f&d last night and wow what an experience. From the food to the high quality of service they provide it is an amazing place to eat. Last night I had a server named jasmine and she was excellent. She walked me through the menu and made sure I was properly educated on what I was ordering and very punctual on executing our dinner with perfection. Timing our meals and even scooping up the crumbs in between courses. Not only would I recommend f&d prime steak house but I would recommend you request this server as she is excellent!

We came in for Valentine’s Day and the atmosphere was great, the food was great, the service was next level! Brittney was our server and she was a vibe! She was extremely funny! We were in the area for the Daytona 500 race and when we come back this way again we will certainly be back. Best dining experience we’ve had in a very long time.

We've been to F&D Prime a few times and while each time has been wonderful, this past visit was exceptional. The manager Johnny was so professional and attentive, our server Kelly was friendly and provided just the right amount of attention and behind the bar, Matt seemed to pull together all the elements to create the perfect cocktails. Our meals were served to perfection and we all felt it was the perfect amount including the shrimp scampi and buffalo cauliflower! And the bourbon and tequila selection is absolutely TOP SHELF!!! Can't wait to go back again!

My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary this year 1/21/2026. I'm so glad we chose F&D prime modern steakhouse to eat dinner. Everything was so easy and simple as far as booking reservations, and all questions answered it couldn't have been any easier. The hostess was very welcoming, wonderful clean restaurant, awesome atmosphere, and peaceful ambiance. Our server Kelly was amazing thank you so much for making our night so special, her customer service was The best, she answered every question, the food was hot, and fresh, and cooked to perfection. Thank you Kelly, and all the staff that made our night so amazing. We definitely recommend F&D prime modern steakhouse, and will be visiting again soon.

Sadly I only make it here once a year. However, the food and wine are phenomenal. I have never had a bad meal. This year, I had the pleasure of having Jasmyn as my server. She is a true ambassador for your establishment. She is truly the gold standard.

Our first experience at F&D last night was amazing! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they left us a handwritten card on our reserved table, nice touch! Our server Amber was outstanding. She kept a nice pace, made great recommendations, and even gave us our dessert NY Cheesecake Creme Brulee for free in honor of our celebration! The Japanese Milk Bread & butter, and fresh raw oysters were delicious! We got the 8oz Filet and House Special shrimp & lobster pasta were cooked to perfection. Our sides of sautéed mushrooms and fries were also good, and the perfect portion for sharing. We got a pinot grigio and old fashioned from the bar, both went down smooth. The restaurant is decorated lovely, very cozy for a date night or evening with friends & family. We will definitely be back, our new favorite place to celebrate special occasions!

I cannot thank your staff enough! I had an issue with my reservation an error on my end! I called the restaurant and talked to Brittany and she was amazing. She was so kind, so helpful and so amazing !! I told her how I had set up a blind date for two friends tomorrow Jan 10 and she got it all sorted for me. I am so excited to report back on how the date went and the food and service when I hear back from my friends after the date tomorrow. Please tell Brittany if this blind date works out she can be my plus one to the wedding. She was so kind !!!!

We dined here as part of Magical Dining. $60 menu. I still paid $127 after adding a $13 glass of wine (Conundrum...very tasty with steak and dessert) and adding the Oscar (crab meat, asparagus and Bearnaise sauce for $20 - NOT worth it). It was not lump...not one lump just a pulverized crab with a tablespoon of sauce and two small, skinny and wilted "spears". The sauce evaporated a third of the way through the meal. The first bite was nice, but so little to go around). The steak was DELICIOUS and like buttah. I had the beet salad which was very good but I didn't enjoy the quinoa. It was like gravel/dirt. The beet and raspberry vinaigrette was nice! The mango salad was very good. Finally...dessert! I had the cheesecake. HUGE and delicious so most of it came home and ate well the next day. The chocolate brownie was amazing. The bread was $8 for 6 rolls and were over advertised. My expectations might have been too high, but it was really just fresh made Hawaiian rolls with GREAT butter. The butter is what made it. The restaurant became very loud once half full and service got tougher to get with a full house. A sommelier came to our table to give us a couple samples and some advice, so that was nice.

Pre Valentines dinner. First off, the service was on point. Beyond expectations. They were late seating reservations by 40 minutes and lots of tables around us, including us had to wait for the main course. I had the prime center cut filet. This was not the best steak, it was as ordered, but super dry, even medium. Great appetizers, great Japanese bread!

Service was so slow. We had all of our appetizers before our drinks. My husband ordered a well done steak and it came out we asked the server what would you call this steak he said “oh that’s medium” I ordered a medium plus steak and it came out rare to medium rare. For the price and being a “steak house” you would expect better. Definitely won’t be back what a disappointment.

We arrived 15 minutes early, yet there was still a 40+ minute wait past our 8:30 reservation time for a party of 2, with little to no acknowledgement from staff. Though I am empathetic to how busy it can be on a holiday weekend like Valentine’s Day, I think more care should be put into making sure everyone has a good experience. Someone did come around the waiting area with complimentary glasses of Champagne but took no care to ensure they were offered first to guests who’d been waiting longer. After being seated our food took at least 45-60 minutes to arrive at our table. An 8:30 reservation should never result in not eating until nearly 10 pm. The food was just ok. For the price, a chain steakhouse like Ruth’s Chris could have easily prepared our meal better. We seek out local restaurants to patronize but this was disappointing.

My husband and I have eaten at F&D Prime several times. We always had a good experience, so, when we were making New Year's Eve dinner plans with our friends, we suggested F&D Prime. However, tonight's visit was not a good one. Never have I ever felt so mistreated by a restaurant because of something out of my control. The assistant GM at F&D Prime just kicked my party of four out of our table because he needed it by 7:00 pm. The only reason we were still sitting there was because it took the kitchen a long time to prepare our food. Our wait was so excessive that our server actually brought us a complimentary shrimp cocktail. He actually said that he felt we were waiting too long. We were enjoying our time with our friends and just finished our entrees when the server brought us a dessert menu and went to box up our leftovers. While he was gone, the assistant GM approached our table and asked us if we were offered dessert. When we said yes, he told us he could pack it to go because he needed the table at 7pm or we could eat it outside. Was he kidding? Tonight happened to be one of the coldest nights of the year! It is 46 degrees right now. When we said no, we could just get our check and leave. He said that he wasn't wanting to give off a "vibe". Yes, that's exactly what you did. What do you expect when you tell people you need a table and they can take their dessert to go or sit outside? It's not our fault that we were sitting at the table longer than you desired. Have your kitchen staff work faster. Manage your reservations better. Don't offer us dessert and then ask us to leave. That is very rude and not customer friendly. When a group spends over $600 on a meal, we don't expect to be treated in this manner. It's unfortunate that this is how our New Year's Eve ended. It's the last impression you are judged by. F&D Prime, your last impression was not a good one. We won't be back.
