Service was great! Very attentive and polite. I had the fish special of the day which was halibut. Nice crispness on the outside and moist flaky doneness. My friend had the ravioli and it was also great. The outdoor eating area was very pleasant

My parents go here every Saturday. We get treated with a nice family meal at Riccardo’s once a year when we come down to visit. The staff is always awesome. They remember who we are and truly care about their patrons. The food is always amazing. From the bread at the beginning to the chocolate cake at the end. We can’t rate this place high enough. Do check this place out for true Italian cuisine!

Recently went in for our anniversary dinner. Matthew was our server and he went above & beyond. Definitely made our anniversary feel special. I ordered the lasagna which is amazing and husband had the veal parmesan and I was blown away. Was instantly regretting my choice bc it was that good. Their chocolate cake is by far my favorite!

Riccardo’s was recommended to us by a dear friend and we were quite impressed. Zack, our wonderful waiter made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant, the food was top notch, and we could tell that there was top notch ingredients that made it so. We’ll be back👍

Thankful to have randomly found this delightful little restaurant during the snowstorm! The food was like a slow, warm hug from Noni. The wine selection came from all lands of Italy. Last but not least, the owners and staff are exceptional, go above and beyond, and make you feel like family!

Service is spot on, detailed and prompt. Food choices are authentic Italian, full of flavor. In pictures are fried ravioli, scallop salad veal and vegetables, veal potato soup, and spumoni.

Classy dinner "ristorante". Professional staff throughout the entire experience. Incredible dinners, drinks/wine, & anything else you might consume. Beautiful (& quiet) place for date night, group get togethers, or with family (as long as everyone is old enough). Can't recommend it enough!! :)🍷

Popped into Ricardo’s with my wife recently. Not our first visit, but this place never disappoints. We have the same gentleman service us the last three or four times and he remembered us. The conversation was wonderful. As always food was served with care, attention, and love. Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a tad spendy but worth the money.

Sat on the patio on a warm day probably the best server we've had in recent memory at any restaurant. Nice wine selection The scallop appetizer is amazing,even better with a bottle of traditional method sparkling wine from Italy! Sorbet out of this world wish there were more gluten-free options we would return.

Pretty yummy place!! It was our first time and loved the vibe and the music and just everything. The drinks to the antipasta to the main dish, everything was amazing 😍

Stumbled upon the little gem by accident. Wait staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Even engaged in conversation with our 5 yr old and recommended special dishes for her. Awesome job Zach! Minus the American accent and great customer service, we felt like we were back in Europe in the back terrace despite being on a main road. Every dish was superb. Wine selection was top notch too. Can't wait to try the coffee shop next door and the wine tastings. How have I lived in the area for 22 years and not discovered this place?

This is our 1st time here and it did not disappoint. Lasagna perfect, melts in your mouth, it is flavorful but not overpowering. Scampi taste good too. Made with fresh tomatoes. We’ll definitely go back here!

Such a lovely place. The ragu is to die for. Great wine. I love eating here. Outside seating is really great. Also you can double park so long as you tell the staff in the restaurant. Parking lot is not very big. We parked in the bank next door after 6.

We shared a delightful dinner with old friends and had a wonderful experience. Food and service was outstanding, and Carson's wine recommendation was perfect. You should clone Carson, the best server ever.

Recently attended a birthday party at Ricardo’s Coffee hut with twenty great friends. The food service and ambiance made for a very special evening. If you have a group event looking for a unique venue check them out. Dish highlights: pork loin, lasagna and cheese ravioli started.

It was a wonderful meal. The lasagna and the olive bread were the stars of the show. We will definitely be back. 👅

Great, authentic Italian cuisine with some American-Italian meals. I recommend hearing the specials as they are usually that - special. The Outdoor patio makes you feel like your in the Mediterranean. Its pricey but worth it

By far one of the best meals we have had in Oregon! The evening was an intentional slow roll to allow us to enjoy every sip, every bite, and the conversation flowed like the wine. The food was thoughtful and layered, the service personal but respectful of our desire to stay in our bubble. Wine choices perfectly matched, and they even host tasting events once a month. We can’t wait to go back!

Ricardo’s in Lake Oswego: A Dining Experience to Remember I had the pleasure of dining at Ricardo’s in Lake Oswego, and what a fantastic experience it was. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s a place full of regulars, a sure sign of a great restaurant. It’s a busy little spot, and for good reason. The food they put out is absolutely amazing. Our waiter, Francois, was outstanding. He was incredibly attentive, addressed us by our first names, which is always impressive and had fantastic recommendations. And let me tell you, the food did not disappoint. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. Watching Francois plate up the dishes right at the table added an extra level of care and presentation that made it feel truly special. The staff was always there to refill drinks and engage with guests, making the service feel seamless and personal. At one point, we struck up a conversation with a couple sitting next to us, who claimed to have dined there nearly every day for 30 years. I’m not sure if that story is true, but honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised, it’s that good. I’ll definitely be back.

We have really enjoyed Riccardo’s a couple of times. They have very authentic Italian cuisine. Their lasagna is very good. The service was excellent. Parking seems limited, but we managed to find space.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner a few weeks ago at Ricardo's -- it was amazing!! Truly a highlight of the weekend and a wonderful way to kick things off. Zach worked with me for months ahead of the event to ensure everything from the menu to the wine to the music was perfect - shout out to Zach!! We had our gathering in the wine shop across from the main restaurant and had it all to ourselves, which was lovely for some short speeches and privacy. The meal was delicious - every course was so tasty and I thought very well priced for the quality. Several of our guests had allergies or other dietary restrictions; they were extremely understanding and had suitable alternatives on deck when needed -- including gluten free pasta. The wine was also wonderful and is priced by consumption, very fair. Overall it was a really special experience for us and we plan to visit Ricardo's for our anniversary every year! Thank you <3

Great food presented well. Service was excellent. Our server, Peyton was very polite and professional. I would recommend the fish - it was amazing. Served with perfectly cooked vegetables and a light tomato sauce in a satisfying portion. Tiramisu was exceptional.

Amazing experience here for my birthday. Every bite was absolutely delicious. Saucework is amazing, you'll want to soak up every drop with your fresh bread. Great wines as well.

This place is popular. They WANT to take care of you but consider a Thursday or something. We did an anniversary celebration on a Saturday night, just the two of us. Understand, WE LOVE THIS PLACE but the Saturday crowd is too much for us. RICCARDO's is the most fun & most satisfying dining in Portland and maybe the PNW. They believe in whatever is best for YOU. GO THERE. You will thank me but just thank THEM.

I hadn't been in more than 20 years since moving away from Portland. Just went and the food tasted just as amazing as I remembered. Best Arrabiata and lasagna I've ever had.

Everything about Ricardo's is done well. The food is sourced from local vendors and is well prepared and served by an engaging staff. The outdoor patio is inviting and comfortable with shade and heaters for all kinds of weather. This is the kind of place you can go for a fun evening out but is special enough for any celebration. Don't expect a quick meal, your visit here is an event that will take some time and is best enjoyed with your favorite people.

This restaurant is quaint and cute. The quality of the food was great, and the server was knowledgeable, friendly, and paid attention to details. However, the table we sat at was rather small. There were two of us, and a couple of things fell off the table as we tried to make room for our dinners. It's a bit pricey, and the establishment is very cozy. Overall, I would recommend it.

We ordered the ravioli of the day (truffle filling), the pasta of the day (white wine sauce w/ sausage and capers), mushroom soup, and the lasagna. The ravioli was my favorite dish. The mushroom soup was great. The lasagna wasn't my favorite, but others at my table loved it. No one at my table liked the pasta of the day. Sitting outside in their beautiful flower covered patio area was the best. Very relaxed.

Everyone's food was good. I had the wild boar and mushroom fettuccine. Meat was a bit tough and I didn't have any mushrooms in mine. Could have used a bit more cream sauce also. I also needed to add salt and pepper. Way way under seasoned. Dessert was very good!

Having to dine inside a special private room just fro ourselves with bar and wine rack within reached. Served great choices of Italian cuisine and great choices of wine. Scallop must try and I have the pork tenderloin which is really good. Friendly stuff and cosy ambience for private or business dining . Love it..

The best Italian place in the Portland area. My husband and I just finished a delicious lunch there and WOW! He wants to go back again :) Service is great and I just love the small restaurant feel of the place plus no to mention the food is AMAZING! Do not EVER pass up their ravioli nor other dishes of the day. Just simply amazing. And their wine pairings with the meal are great too. If you don't have room for a meal stop by their coffee shop for their monthly wine tasting event. It's just great! I can't wait to head back to the Marche region next month! ❤️🇮🇹

Riccardo’s a charming place with great ravioli fritti. Lamb côtelette is also great. No pizzas. No real coca. It’s more a quiet place for mature people

We go to Recardo’s for the great food. We went there to celebrate for dinner and the food was so bad, so salty and so garlicky we could not eat it. We had a new waitress too; she had no idea for wine recommendations and was not helpful with our dissatisfaction regarding the meal. A horrible experience. I reached out to give them direct feedback with no response. Not a way to treat a great patron. Not sure we want to roll the dice again as the prices are high-usually for good reason.

We were a party of 5 dining on a Friday night. We ordered 2 veals, 2 pastas and one fish. Scallops and Caprese for appetizers. The appetizers were good. After waiting 1 hour from the time we ordered to get our main dish, we were disappointed. Although the veal tasted good, it was cold. The fish smelled, the pastas completely lacked flavor. Watered down canned tomatoes and overcooked pasta. The chicken with the pasta was dry. The service was slow and not very accommodating. Can we sub chicken for veal? No. Can you please toast the bread? No. Food was mediocre at best and overpriced.

Extremely underwhelmed with my experience here. We visited for my parents anniversary dinner, and my family walked away disappointed. The food was below average, not what I would expect from supposedly the "best Italian dining in the Portland area" as some claim. Bland pasta, under seasonsed mains, uninspired food overall - definitely not worth the near $40 price tag for some of these pasta dishes. There is a complete lack of any specialty cocktail menu, so we ordered a few simple easy drinks. They were essentially 90% alcohol with mixer for color - I'd be pleased with that at a dive bar, but not at an Italian restaurant. The service was good. There were multiple people checking in throughout the night and they were nice / attentive. The bill took awhile to arrive at the end, but that is my only complaint in that department. We walked out feeling highly disappointed. And my entire family came away feeling ill the next day. Considering the price tag of the food, the quality coming out on the plate & the aftermath the next day is unacceptable. It's a shame - good Italian food isn't hard to master. But this place is a miss, and you should cross it off your list.
