My favorite place to go when I’m in Lakeway. I usually have the fried fish which is always great but had to have one of their great blue cheese/cheeseburgers this time. The lake is way down but still a nice view from the Sundancer. Service was excellent. Highly recommend especially in the summer when it’s a little warmer!!!

I was a bit worried when we arrived and found the restaurant completely empty, but it turned out to be a fantastic dining experience! I ordered the pulled pork and fried avocado, both of which were incredibly flavorful and came with a fresh, crisp side salad. My wife had the blackened fish tacos and absolutely loved them. The waitress was really nice and helpful, making our meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Jackson was our server and he was awesome. I told him extra star for laughing at my bad jokes. The food came out fresh almost too fast. But we managed to make room. My burger was cooked to perfection, crisp bacon. , hand cut fries were nice and fresh. I was stuffed. Fried pickles, jalapeños and lettuce wraps were a hit. The chigitas were good and the sauce quite tasty. Everyone else was pleased with their choices too. The Mexican margarita was just right. And the iron bloody Mary, great flavor too. Little small for 10$. Overall would return without hesitation.

A nice spot for a weekend brunch. It is super casual and no frills. A great location overlooking the lake and boat dock. Good for kids with a nice playground area. Inside and outside dining options are available and there is plenty of parking. We had the chicken fried Benedict, the crab omelet (which had lots of crab), and the stuffed French toast. All were very good. Only down side was their internet was down so it was cash only- might want to call ahead to see if it is fixed if you are low on cash.

Motivate To Be Healthy

We came in for business and were looking for a place to eat. Someone who used to work for the chamber of commerce recommended this place. She said that it was close to the water/marina. We decided to check it out. We had a small windy drive to this place. The drive was nice and the weather was beautiful that day. I am so glad we took a chance on this place. The restaurant has open air. Any place you sit at you can see the water and boats. If you sit at the bar, your back is facing the water. We had an amazing, delicious appetizer that had some amazing flavors. If you go, make sure you order Thai chicken lettuce wraps. We had some burgers that were good too. Overall, our service (Katherine) server was good. I would recommend this place.

Came with family for a short vacation in the area. Such a sweet spot by the lake. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The waitress was very courteous. The food came out fast, fresh and tasty. The catfish was giant and so good. Prices are fair. Portions are big, you won’t leave hungry. We will definitely come back again when in the area.

I'll give it 4 stars because the service was great and the view itself is The feature here. The food is ok... A bit overpriced and it follows the Texas portion size rule (humongous). You don't need to give me 10 pounds of food to justify the price, just make it better and tastier.

The food was really good. I enjoyed driving up to the Lake Travis waterfront and seeing all the boats. It looks like the entire dock is members only. Just curious if there is any guest parking for boats that want to visit? If there was any it was not noticeable. That being said, the waitress serving us was very nice and generously discounted my meal because there were no bacon wrapped shrimp that day and she forgot to tell me when I ordered. The discount exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent. Other than that, the only downside to the experience was the irritable amount of flies that were inside the dining area.

Had a really great time here. Service was fantastic. We were offered a table on the balcony and we were able to enjoy the views; amazing! Food wasn't bad at all. Drinks were also good. Overall, it was a really good experience. I would recommend this place.

A little late reviewing Sundancer Grill but wanted to add my favorable review. We visited on July 1 before the dinner rush. The dining room is basically an enclosed patio, with garage doors that open for outside dining. When we visited, it was in the upper 90s, and while everything was closed up and fans running, it was somewhat warm, but not uncomfortable. I got the shrimp basket, my favorite, and it never disappoints. The service was super friendly and helpful. We will certainly keep visiting; it is one the best places to eat in Lakeway in my opinion -- especially when the weather is cooler and you can enjoy the Lake Travis view!

Food: A. Service: F. My wife raved enthusiastically about the Belgian waffle in her Fried Chicken And Waffle entree, and in the same breath pronounced the Green Chile Mac-N-Cheese side "disgusting". My Fried Gulf Shrimp Basket was quite tasty, but not better (or worse) than you'd expect at any place serving fried shrimp. There's no way I can adequately describe just how bad the service was. We waited 45 minutes at our table before flagging down a passing waiter, who seemed surprised that nobody had approached us. Then another long wait. Finally they brought our food, and did not ask if we needed anything else at that time or during the rest of the meal. After waiting patiently for a long time, we had to flag down a passing waiter just to get the check. It felt like we were in a no-man's-land where no waiter thought that table belonged to them. It was the worst service I recall having anywhere ever.

I was excited about this place but.. My fish sandwich just wasn't it.. it tasted bad.. wish I asked what type of fish it was before ordering but I was really hungry and it sounded good at the time.. there wasn't any hint of Jamaican Jerk so it was a total letdown.. fries were crispy, so that was a plus.. my bf ordered their breakfast sandwich and he said it was ok.. the potatoes could be crispier (they were greasy and soggy).. the crab hush puppies were delicious and they saved the day!!
