My wife and I often visit Black Angus in Lancaster. We are never disappointed whether we just share a mid-day appetizer, ( the surf and turf quesadilla is our favorite ) eat lunch, ( buffalo-ranch grilled chicken sandwich for me, French dip for her) or dinner (too many choices to fit) We often have had Cindy as a server and we find her pleasant, knowledgeable ( her suggestion to try the chips has us hooked) and attentive ( tops off our iced tea frequently.

We dined here Sunday night and our dinner and server were absolutely perfect ! Dana is the best ! She checked on us multiple times and was on top of everything ! She is so sweet Will be coming back !

When we have something to celebrate, this is our favorite place to go. The service is always great, and the food is incredible. Theyve recently replaced the center if the dining room with free standing tables and it makes it feel light and open. Thank you for another wonderful experience!

We had a very good experience – it was a Tuesday night so not too crowded, volume / ambience was perfect for a casual date night. Despite handling a challenging group of regulars with numerous requests, she remained incredibly attentive to my family of seven. If all servers approached their roles with the same level of dedication and care as Stephanie, dining out would undoubtedly be a much more positive experience.

This Black Angus is an exceptionally busy and popular member of the chain. We dined this past Friday with a party of 11 to celebrate an 87th birthday! Our server, Dana, was prompt, patient and attentive. It’s a difficult job for even a small table but multiple large tables place great demand on a server or her team. We were treated well and with a great attitude. The restaurant business is a rough and tumble enterprise. But Dana delivered a very enjoyable dinner and atmosphere.

We normally get the Campfire Feast comes with a choice of appetizers always get the Sampler Wagon then dinner for 2 plus at the end a dessert sometimes we try new things that they came out with. We normally don't eat our dinner food because we are already full lol, but we take it home. We also come for Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's for dinner here with my partner or family even for our birthdays 😉. Great price, especially if you have the app for rewards I get points. I've visited the Palmdale area for work three times over as many months.. Tonight, I ventured out for the very first time in search of a local steak place and decided on Black Angus largely due to the Google review ratings.. Did it live up to the hype?? For the most part but I didn't leave the restaurant "wowed," like I had just experienced something special.. Let me explain.. I intended to sit/dine at the bar but the fellow who was back there seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with bar orders from the rest of the restaurant, so not wanting to add to his burden I opted for dining room service instead.. Gilbert greeted me promptly and provided complimentary bread and a glass of ice water as I surveyed the drink menu.. I ordered an El Dorado Margarita featuring Camarena Reposado Tequila, fresh citrus juices, and a float of Grand Marnier.. After perusing the dinner menu I opted to try the 6oz filet with mashed potatoes and a side salad.. This is my go to request at most steak places, so it's what I generally order to measure my experience.. Gilbert delivered the salad rather quickly and with the Italian dressing on the side.. I typically order it this way but forgot, so seeing it on the side was a relief.. The salad was cold and crisp, the dressing packed with flavor, and well-portioned.. So far, so good.. The steak and potatoes, while flavorful, were presented rather modestly, without flair or garnish.. Both had great flavor, too, but there were no frills.. No seasoning, except maybe a very light touch of salt and pepper on the steak and a hint of butter in the poatoes.. The steak was more or less cooked as I ordered it, medium, and was a straightforward, grilled steak.. I've had worse out there but I've also had better.. At the end of the day, the filet was worth the price I paid.. The mashed potatoes were rather benign, too.. They had a great taste but there wasn't anything that made them stand out.. Smoothly mashed to the extent that I couldn't readily confirm them as made from real potatoes, though I'm leaning to them being of the real varity.. At the end of the day Black Angus delivered a solid performance on this meal.. Gilbert's outstanding customer service and the atmosphere of the restaurant brought this up to a five 🌟 versus a four 🌟 review.. I might visit again on a future trip to Palmdale to sample other menu offerings, time will tell..

Came around 8:30 PM for our anniversary and were seated within minutes. The food was excellent — the sampler was a great choice, especially the fried zucchini with ranch and the buffalo chicken tenders, which were honestly standout items. Even dishes I don’t usually order, like the shrimp, were really enjoyable thanks to the sauce. My husband’s filet mignon was cooked perfectly, and both plates were flavorful and filling, with the mac and cheese being especially good. Service by waitress included timely drink refills, though we felt a bit rushed while ordering since it was our first visit and appetizers hadn’t arrived yet. Overall, the food alone made this a very enjoyable experience, and I’d definitely recommend going earlier in the evening to fully relax and enjoy everything.

We went to Black Angus Steakhouse to celebrate my longtime friends 88th birthday. The menu has many different options. I always ask for the server's recommendations. Tanya mentioned that the ribeye or prime rib was their most popular steaks. So, my friend and I chose the boneless ribeye. My was cooked perfectly and my friends was cooked perfectly but was tough. Our server Tanya recognize there was a problem. She immediately spoke to Carol Garcia the general manager. Carol spoke to my friend and suggested he should select another steak. The issue was corrected quickly. Great customer service and public relationship. I highly recommend that you visit Black Angus Steakhouse to enjoy a great meal. If I could I would give this restaurant a higher rating then a 5 stars. We will definitely return in the near future.

Not the juiciest ribeye I've ever had, but still really good. The mushrooms and garlic butter are a must! We got the potato skins for an appetizer, and they were nice and cheesy. This is my first time ever trying black angus steakhouse. I must say, my first immediate thought was only for senior citizens but it’s actually a great for families and dinner dates. The food and drinks are delicious! I order the full rack and the meat fell off the bones. Truly left a taste in my mouth waiting for more! I would highly recommend.

The food is good. The customer service was also good. If you want to be served as soon as you arrive, it's recommendable to go one hour and a half before their closing time; that's when the place becomes more intimate.

It was my first time here at Black Angus and I had a great waitress with me who always checked on me to make sure everything was good. Paige was really sweet, and cute too 😉😍. The crab cakes were decent, the steak was done with the perfect amount of pink, the carrot cake was moist and the frosting nice and sweet. That's why I gave her a great tip and she hoped to see me again in the future.

I've been a few times recently as I moved near this place. I've found the steaks pretty good but the sides I've tried have all been terrible. Last night though, was really bad. I had some Bday money to spend so I splurged on Ribeye and lobster. $56 for a 12oz steak and two lobster tails. It was a thin sliced ribeye which was disappointing, but it tasted fine. But the lobsters were a joke! I wish I had taken a photo of them against my thumb for comparison. They each were barely bigger than my thumb. Maybe 2oz each. Three small bites per lobster. I was embarrassed for the restaurant for serving these joke lobsters. Price wasn't a joke though. $28 if you add them to a steak. Last time I had shrimp and they were literally the same size as these lobsters. I won't waste money on that again. I sure do miss the days when restaurants weren't all owned by a few massive corporations who just don't give a damn.

We went for the 2 for 69 deal and it was disappointing. First issue was that half of their 8 allowed entrée options are marked up by 6 dollars per entrée, so if you want the filet or ribeye (I forgot the other two), it is actually 2 for 81. The best part of the meal was the starter which was the surf and turf quesadilla (4/5 at worst). The steak soup was good (4/5), but the baked potato was dry and not good overall (2/5, maybe 1/5). The veggies were good (4/5, maybe a 5/5...) For the filet, It would have been extra (on top of the current +6 markup) to have herbs, mushroom and butter on top of the filet, so I just got the steak. It was cooked to what I asked, but did not have much flavor. I'll give the filet a 3/5 at best, only because it was tender and cooked to what I asked, but that's it. The Ribeye was a joke. It also has a $6 markup but is really thin, so trying to get it cooked right and have a great crust is not easy. Steaks at nice steakhouses need to be reasonably thick and this one was poor. It also had a lot of fat. I realize it provides flavor and ribeye's have more fat than New Yorks, but for a markup price in a "2 for X" deal where the steak is unreasonably thin...it's not okay, and it's not like it had amazing taste (but wouldn't say bad). Overall I have to give it a 2/5; without the markup- a 2.5...MAYBE a 3, but not worth it in my opinion. The dessert was good; a typical chocolate cake with ice cream (4/5). Without the dessert and starter, the food would be a 2 or 2.5 out of 5. Unless the New York steak is an actual steak (and the surf and turf is very good again), then we will not consider coming back.

Raw steak one day, the next visit, rotten steak. They have been falling off lately. Management needs work. Dog in the restaurant barking, at servers serving food, obviously not a service dog. Its like going to eat dinner at a restaurant but its really a waffle house in disguise and the cooks have no idea how to inspect or cook the meat. Let alone having a manager who takes 10 minutes to reapond to the "only" complaint they had all night about the meat. (UPDATE, they ended up throwing out a bunch of rotten meat from their fridges, comped the meal and offered more free meals), but unfortunately until the staff figures it out, we will not be taking any more chances, especially when I am a mechanic by trade and my standards as a chef or manager are far higher than what was represented to me that day. I would argue that the cooks at mcdonalds have higher standards. Our server is the best and he always goes above and beyond. He is primarily the only reason we visit the establishment.

Bad experience with this restaurant. I placed a large order a day before to be picked up at 6:15 pm. Got there 5 ladies up front no greeting, no acknowledge, mad faces , all taking to each other and laughing. What a disappointment to have this greet as a customer. I told one of the ladies that I was there to pick up my order and she said “I’ll have the kitchen people check” I stood there for 20 minutes and nothing. I had to ask another girl and she went to get my order. When we got home all the food was cold, bigger disappointment. Never again $330 wasted. Very disappointment as a customer. To Black Angus management: hire the right people to greet and care about the customer.

Valentine’s Day, 2026. I had no reservations, we were 2. We arrived around 5:00 pm . They told us the waiting was going to be 2 hours. We didn’t mind waiting. When the 2 hours and 15 approach, I asked in a good manner how much longer they ignored me. Didn’t even get a respond from them. They were like that to everyone . They never called me. Instead I saw one table opened at the bar area and we took it. The waitress came took our order, she later brought our drinks, then she said she’ll be right back with waters, she never did, she brought our salads, then she said she’ll be back , after a while someone else brought our steaks, I asked we order an appetizer, then he said what was it , I said Calamari, oh sorry he said, I will bring it . We started eating our steaks, later the waitress came back and said oh you missed your appetizer, I heard, I said yes, she said I’ll be right back. She never did, after that she was kind of rude, a guy brought the appetizer later. At the end we felt rushed through the meal , we had told her that we were going to have dessert, then she asked me you don’t want dessert right? I said yes we do and it comes with the meal… she brought the dessert. We finished. We left her a good tip as courtesy cause we always do. But if you asked me if I will ever go back to this place my answer is no. Even people with reservations were wanting 30-45+ minutes. No one cares, their system is dated and doesn’t work, the hostesses lack training or customer service , they seem motionless, management don’t care. I know they were busy but they seemed lost. Avoid going there on any holidays.
