Idk what it is, but in the last 6 months, the food has gotten so much better here.
Good food on a casual Sunday night. First time coming in, me and my partner loved that the beans where served in there own tortilla shell! Also loved the crazy burrito donkey mural outside!
We took our granddaughter here for her Birthday Dinner!!! She loved it!! We all enjoyed ourselves!!! Huge portions, reasonable pricing, no rushing!! The staff actually allows you to enjoy your meal before giving you the check!!! Thank you, so much for that!! The staff, was kind enough to sing Happy Birthday, in their native language!!! Also made her a special dessert!! (Paisley, loved it and saved some for her little sister to try)
Unfortunately they look closed during the day and are in desperate need of parking lot repairs. But if you can dodge a pothole or three, this place is great! Most Mexican restaurants you can order the same dish and tastes about the same as any other, but here the flavors are unique. The salsa is very good, fresh and has some spice! My husband got fajita tacos that came with some sauce. He was shocked that it was actually very spicy and was moderately adding some on his tacos. Anywhere else he's grabbing the hot sauce on the table and doctoring everything up because it's too mild. I ordered enchiladas and was pleasantly surprised with a slight nutty flavor in a rich sauce. The waitress we had was very nice and helpful as it was our first time coming there. Highly recommend!
I gotta say the meat was a little bland, but it wasn’t bad and now I can say I would go there again. I love that the beans are serve inside a tortilla bowl. That’s pretty cool. The service was good no issues there. Had a good meal , thank you 😊
One of my favorite places to dine. Family oriented, the owners are super friendly and go above and beyond in this establishment. The food is amazing, great margaritas, and AwEsOmE customer service!!!
At first we thought this place was abandoned cause of the way the outside and parking lot looked but it was very open! We were the only customers there when we came in thought and upon coming in it was very dead and dark but our waitress greeted us and was very nice! The food came out quickly and was amazing! Just wish the portions were larger but otherwise amazing!
Great food and friendly service. Their seafood dishes stand out the most to me yet their chicken and beef offerings are not far behind. Taco salad is well worth trying too. Order the Sombrero, it’s a massive combination with the greatest homemade hot sauce on the side. I always ask for the house hot sauce/salsa when I’m there. It’s "orangish" in color and I’ve never tasted a hot sauce that was as good.
Honestly the best food I've eaten in a long time. Reminded me of the food I grew up on in SW Detroit. Fresh, flavorful and definitely cooked right. I absolutely overate and loved every bite. Hours later and I'm still pleasantly full without the that heavy draining feeling. I can't recommend this place enough. I will definitely be back.
In Lancaster for appt. but as usual I am EARLY. Need to kill time and I found LA Cascada snuggled in the back part of a shopping mail. Once inside this adorably decorated place I was met with a smile on the managers face and promptly seated. I kinda felt like a queen as I had three different servers come to my table to get my order of "Fried Ice Cream and coffee" serve it and then check on me. Ol lady has to state this was the BEST FRIED ICE CREAM EVER! The shell was completely (but not too much) covered in sugar. Every time I took a bite there was that wonderful sugar shell mixing with the ice cream. Next time ol lady will get a meal and let you know about it. TRY LA CASCADA CAUSE YOU WILL LIKE IT. Ol lady sending you good wishes and bon appetite.
The staff was prompt and worked well with one another. Dilligant service. Quit wait times, and food was presented wonderfully. The rich tastes of the fresh sides complimented one another perfectly. Best Margarita I have had in years! Keep up the great work. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a wonderful dinning experience! We ordered the 🦐 Shrimp Chimmeychonga was Awesome!!!!
This restaurant was very authentic. The service was good and the food was great. The waiter we had was very friendly. My husband had a beef burrito and he said it was the best burrito he has ever had. My husband said it was delicious and was very flavorful. I have the steak fajita and it was very good also.
The restaurant has a nice vibe to it. The service was decent and the food was well proportioned for the price. The restaurant was rather cold though, and with it being cold outside, it was kind of disappointing. But everything else was fine. The salsa was delicious by the way.
Food was pretty good. Place is a good size not cramped seating which is good. Atmosphere is your typical Mexican place. Waitress was attentive and nice. No complaints 👌
Good is awesome! Been eating here for years! My personal favorite is the “Sombrero”. Ordered take out tonight for the first time. $85 for four meals today. Unfortunately they did a less than mediocre job packaging out meals to go. They did not completely press on the lids on our shrimp dinner and burrito dinner. All of the liquid from those two dinners poured out onto the back seat of my truck when the bag split apart on the way home. Styrofoam containers were sideways in the bag, food all mixed together. Food tasted fine, but kids wouldn’t eat the food that mixed together. Paper bags better for heavy food, not cheap thin plastic bags. Contents shift and spill in plastic bags. Tonight’s meal was not what we are used to specifically because we always dine in the restaurant. Meal was cold and soggy and visually unappealing due to the cheap and sloppy packaging. I don’t recommend take out, but I do recommend dining in the restaurant. The pictures were of my meal.
Giant proportion, great atmosphere, food is delicious, the service was excellent super attentive staff. I was thirsty and they first gave me a large mug and then a GIANT frosted mug. I thought that was really cool. I had the Crazy Burrito and my son had the chimichanga with shrimp. The shrimp were very large. My wife had Margarita. We sat at a booth, I'm a big guy and it was roomy. We will definitely eat here again.

This establishments food does deserve 5 stars! However, I rated it with 4 stars because customer service could have been much better. It was 3 pm. There was only 3 tables occupied including ours. It took a good 15 minutes before being able to even order a beverage. They were friendly (all 4 servers) that came to our table. One took our drink order. Another delivered our chips and salsa. Someone else delivered our food. But, the most shocking part was once they delivered our bill to the table they disappeared and didn't return. The food was extremely scrumptious! My husband ordered the Sombrero. He said it tasted phenomenal and he would definitely order that again. I ordered the El Colmel. WOW! INCREDIBLE, carnitas, pollo,shrimp and beef with grilled tomato, onion, green pepper and mushrooms with warm tortillas. Beans, rice, lettuce, sour cream and Pico de gallo. I'm telling you seasoned beautifully! If it wasn't for the food I would have been more upset. There was a mistake on our bill but in the end they did make it right! I would definitely eat here again. I just hope they're able to correct their customer service before we return.
I don't love this place. It's so "meh". The service, the food ... its all just average. They did insult me though. I really enjoy draft beer, I ordered one and immediately smelled and tasted their dirty tap. I asked for a bottle of the same draft I had ordered and was brought a mug. The manager insisted it was draft but the server poured the wrong draft. I ordered a Dos Equies Amber and the manager insisted that the lager was delivered. They aren't the same color, I'm not stupid. I wrote it off as they fixed my issue. The replacement tasted fine. I didn't appreciate the dishonesty.
Ordered a chicken quesadilla and queso with chips and got this. Wish I could leave negative stars.
Easily the worst Mexican restaurant ive been to. Staff was rude and they messed up my order
"Ada"...take this as your sign that you Ada go somewhere else. The food was absolutely horrible. Dry "steak" only had the flavor of three days left on a counter. The rice was mushy and appeared to be what was found in the dumpster of a Chinese restaurant.. the beans were prepped a very long time ago, evident in the thick crusted top.
The food was gross it didn’t even taste like Mexican food it had no seasoning the meat was plain the burrito had little meat and full of beans. The food was over priced!! Our table had big cuts and marks in them it was gross! First time eating here and our last time!!
