We had a wonderful experience hosting a bridal shower on the patio at Margartias Mexican Restaurant in Lansdale! Allan and James were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the event and made our guests feel welcomed and comfortable. Everything was very clean and the food and drinks were spectacular. I would highly recommend this location for your next event; they work with you to make your vision a reality. Can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu!

I went here with my girlfriend and we had a great time. The food was pretty good, but the service was phenomenal! Our server, Dan, was amazing. He was always right on time and made sure we were well taken care of. He was quite funny too. I completely recommend him as a server.

Had the best experience ever here a few years ago and come back recently and had an even better experience. The food was amazing and I especially loved the watermelon margarita ! Margaritas has a delicious variety of Mexican dishes, including gluten free and vegetarian. The staff is fun and personable. Their signature margaritas are decent, but inconsistent. Mine was perfect. My boyfriend ordered the same one and the first time it was ok, less tequila than mine, however his second one was so heavy on line juice it tasted like kitchen cleaner. He sent it back and got another one with the same problem. Great place, just needs some consistency in the bar.

My family went to Margaritas for dinner, and it's always been one of our first picks. Today especially, though, we had Josh as our waiter, and any requests were met positively and extremely fast. One of us asked for a refill and had one within 30 seconds! The food was as tasty as always, of course. I can't think of a single bad item I've tried from their menu. 100% recommend.

I was in Friday night with a group of friends for my birthday & had a great time! (We stop in pretty regular,usually a couple times a month ) The food is always amazing & the drinks are perfect! Strawberry margarita, on the rocks with half salt half sugar rim is my go to, but they are all so good. Hard to decide what to eat because everything is yummy, but Tio’s Mexican combo is one of my favorites! The staff are all super friendly & attentive. Highly recommend this place!

Happy Hour...!!?? Ohhh, why yes it was Happy Hour(S) as Alan and his crew at Margaritas took care of all of the arrangements for our team to host the perfect event! From the initial reservation to empowering Alan to put together an appetizer & fajita spread... the entire experience involved doing absolutely nothing on my part than showing up, and enjoying the event with all of our guests! And the event itself was dynamo as Skylar made sure there wasn't an empty margarita glass to be found as she shared her handwork and friendly smile with us! We'll be back... Promise!!

I stop in to here every chance I get when I'm coming back from the Philadelphia area. They have an enchiladas del Mar that I get every single time. It is "two hand-rolled corn enchiladas filled with perfectly seasoned Baja shrimp, sweet crab meat, cheddar and jack cheeses...etc" When I tell you it's one of the best dishes I ever ate it is not an exaggeration. The staff there is wonderful and the service is always exceptional. I highly recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner. Now I'm hungry and I was just there last week. This is a bad photo of their presentation but it's all I have.

My household only orders out twice a month and every time, we default to fish tacos and chips/cheese/salsa from Margarita's. Because we love their food so much, we had planned my entire birthday party around their food. We ordered on DoorDash Sunday afternoon (since we're a bit further out and wouldn't be in Lansdale) - we scheduled our delivery to coincide with my birthday celebration. We had planned a giant nacho table, and ordered cheese, chips, salsa (seriously my favorite salsa in the area), and guacamole, to serve as the backbone of Nacho!Table. When the order arrived, there was no refrigerated items, which meant no salsa and no guacamole (which I had paid for). It was clearly left in the fridge before my driver took off with my order. When I called the restaurant, when I shared my story and how we'd never get into Lansdale and back before my guests arrived, James and his team went above and beyond to make sure that my birthday celebration wasn't ruined because someone forgot our cold stuff! Not only did James send over what we had ordered, he saved my celebration. Thank you!!

Mackenzie is a really really good waitress! Must have a loy of experience or something. She reads you quickly, uses that to help you order things you'll enjoy, and will make you glad you took a chance on margaritas! In my case she recognized I was a "chillihead" and offered me the "fuego" sauce (which was INCREDIBLE)!!! She was also able to pick up on how I would want a margarita and what food order I would be satisfied with. My waitress, the food, environment, and music made for an overall wonderful experience that I would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful lunch with my mom, who’s been here several times and raves about each time she’s visited. We got the nachos, mahi mahi, and the fish tacos. Couldn’t be more happy with the attentiveness of our server Angelina. Ended up grabbing take out for family at home!

Everything was absolutely amazing, and on a Saturday night -- everything was speedy/on time and it was all phenomenal. The margaritas were the best I've had and the food was all amazing- not a single complaint. Our server Katrina was extremely knowledgeable and just amazing! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend. Will be back as often as possible!!

Molly was awesome! We came to celebrate a very special 4th birthday. Molly was incredibly attentive, caring, and really went above and beyond not just for the birthday girl, but for the whole family! We could not have asked for a better server! Food was great, as always this is our favorite restaurant to come to as a family!!!

Visited this place on the way to trip up north.. Close by the highway with few minutes of detour. Food is really good. We ordered from lunch menu still the quantity was great. Chicken Fajita is too good. Liked the complementary chips and Salsa. The moment you enter you can feel the ambiance. You can see in the images below it's so colorful. There are two sections a dining area and a lounge with a bar. I liked lounge better but dinner area is good too. I'll definitely recommend this place to try if you are in the town or passing by.

Every time we have gone, we have enjoyed this place. We did call ahead for a reservation on a Friday evening, so we were able to get a table very quickly. The loaded nachos was a great appetizer. Other great appetizers are the street corn and Mayan shrimp. And I enjoyed the steak fajita salad. Other entrees my party got was the shrimp fajitas, grilled enchilada, and chicken quesdilla. They all came put at the right temperature and were tasty. I enjoyed the monthly margarita flight and then ordered a mango margarita. All were delicious and left me wanting more! We finished it off with the churros for dessert. I would encourage you to get honey and chocolate sauce on the ice cream.

This was one of the best Restaurants I have ever been to! You either have bad service and good food or good service and bad food. You rarely have both and we did here! Our waiter Chris A was absolutely amazing. He even allowed us to enjoy our appetizers by waiting a few mins to put in our entree order! The FOOD was incredible and so fresh! Best thing was the MEXICAN STREET CORN OMG!! Keep up the great work! We will def be back!!

My husband and I go here at least once a month for taco Tuesday and we decided to celebrate our son's 21st birthday there and the everyone was accommodating from the host/hostess, bartender, to our wonderful waitstaff. Dinner on a Sunday night with family. No reservation and not crowded. We were seated right away. There was also outdoor seating and live music. Our waiter Josh was attentive and efficient. Checking in on us appropriately. We added some guacamole with our chips and salsa. There was option to add jalapeños to guacamole at no charge. Onions in both salsa and guacamole were cut too large but otherwise flavors were good, neither was too spicy. I had the margarita flight which came with 4 flavors. The flavor sheet was "lost" but I think it was original, raspberry, blue moon and coconut. Coconut was definitely my favorite! I had the snapper special which was very good. Actually all the food was very good. There was nothing to pack up. Great value for our money. I've ordered delivery before and was also happy with that order. I highly recommend when you are craving Mexican!

This place has the BEST chips and salsa everrr! I also really love their food. I suggest the Margarita Taster because you get to try a taco, a burrito, and enchilada, rice, and beans. We had such a great experience here! The food was fresh and flavorful, and the margarita was delicious. The manager, Allen, was so personable. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the staff makes you feel genuinely valued and as if they’ve known you for years. My son absolutely loved their homemade pickles (a big hit!). Our waitress checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed, which we really appreciated. The restaurant was clean, the décor was inviting, and the outdoor seating looked comfortable and well set up—even though we chose to sit inside this time. First time here. I'm a little disappointed that I just found this place. Everything was amazing. We started off with the margarita flights, then they gave us homemade tortilla chips and salsa. We added queso and guac. I absolutely hate guacamole, but I found myself eating more guac than I ever had in my life it was fantastic. We ordered the street corn as an appetizer. The presentation was awesome and the taste was out of this world. My wife had tacos for an entree and I had enchiladas del mar. Everything was so good and our server was awesome. You guys need to open a restaurant closer to Harrisburg!! ..... seriously. 5 stars to the team at Margarita's!!

Let me tell you my first time here tonight and the best restaurant ever ….., TACO Tuesday $9.99 unlimited with rice and beans….. my new favorite….. The service was impeccable.. Maura G should be awarded server of the DECADE for such impeccable service this evening, we dine out 3 times a week for the last 30 years and this service was over the top.. We were very fortunate to have a great server like Maura G , refills were on point and our Glasses were never empty and the restaurant was completely full….. Everything was pretty good. I didn't like the sauce they put on my burritos but all in all decent. I was very disappointed they couldn't sing happy birthday to my daughter. The waitress said everyone was too busy or didn't want to. That was not a good enough excuse. So she brought my daughter a sombrero and plopped it on her head and put her desert in front of her and that was it. Very anticlimactic and not the service I expected, especially since I asked and she said no problem they would surprise her.

A pitcher of margaritas was $19 and gave 3 of us at least 2 drinks per person, so worth the money! Guacamole was not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely good. Very eclectic restaurant. Fantastic food and service! Our waitresses were very attentive. I've never had a desire to have lettuce wrapped shrimp tacos, these were AMAZING!

Great food with fast & friendly service. We seated on the bar side as there was a short wait for the restaurant on a Saturday night. Proved to be a very nice time. Music was not so loud you had to shout, yet maintained the atmosphere. Place is nicely decorated and their menu options are many. I ordered the "Mexican Flag" dish and it was delicious. This place is great for the price. The burritos are filled, and filling is cooked and seasoned correctly. The queso was not the Smokey flavor I’m use to so I give it a 3/5. They give you big bag of chips on takeout but the chips were too salty. Overall I’ll be coming back here because of the price and quality.

Fun place, there was DJ on the one end, which would be a nice party atmosphere; however, for families coming into dying, it was really difficult to hear and talk in the foyer near the DJ area! Very loud! The food was pretty good, the service was a bit slow because the place was busy, so I'm not sure if that's standard practice. I will try it again, but there are other Mexican places around, so I'd likely try somewhere else next time.

We were traveling and picked a random place to stop, and Margaritas it was. Appearance was nice. There was an outdoor area to sit and fun decor inside and out. Service was quick and food arrived fast. The salsa that came out with the chips was delish. I ordered a taco special for the day, it was different, however, still yummy. Hubby had the burrito which he enjoyed and our daughter went with a burger. I liked the side options for kids,, no often you have many healthy choices such as cucumber and oranges. For the name being Margaritas, I was expecting a classic on the rocks to have more of an "ahh!" factor. It was still refreshing. Had we of been coming back through closer to lunch on our way home, I would have stopped again.

Last night we decided to stop by for dinner after celebrating a birthday in Jim Thorpe Pa. We thought we would have dinner here because it is right off of the turnpike. We have had dinner here many times before that even our server recognized us from before. When we got to the hostess desk the woman was seating another party before us so my husband.and I just proceeded to the bar area that is were we always sit. We took one of the empty booths until one of your ignorant bar tenders told us we could not sit there because there was no self seating. We slid back out went to the hostess desk for us to sit back down at the same booth. We would not have cared but it was the way she handled it making us look foolish in front of other customers. We never saw her before but I want to mention she was short with glasses and pulled back hair because there was another woman also working the bar. Please thank Katrina who is sweet and served us with such professionalism.

We might have visited this location on a bad night. The grilled corn appetizer was burnt, so much so we had to send it back to the kitchen. The rest of the food was ok. Four (4) stars is giving a lot, however I have been told this place is typically very good. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Next visit I'll update this review in hopes for a better experience.

My date an I came later in the evening, it was 9pm and they close at 11pm. We just had drinks and appetizers ,which were fine but they hounded us to leave by 10pm. I get it that it was dead in there but they should have told us they wanted to close before we sat.. idk I would have never ordered and would have went somewhere else. Erika was our server and she was fantastic! Truly the first time in a while where I could tell a server was bringing her A game. Only 4 stars because the food was somewhat disappointing. The carne asada steak came out cool, under-seasoned (barely a drizzle of chimachurri), and every other bite was fatty or cartilage/chewy. The steak fajitas was caked with seasoning salt but otherwise tasty. The cast iron serving platter was great.

My first time at Margaritas and my friends and I really enjoyed ourselves. I really can't speak on the entire menu as I only had their AYCE Tacos, but it wasn't authentic Mexican cuisine based on the tacos, but it wasn't bad if you're craving tacos and the deal is only $9.99 which is absolutely a steal in this time of inflation and greedflation. Our server Maura was awesome as she served our group and we really applauded her efforts. Overall, the entire staff seemed to be very friendly and hard working, which can't be said for most restaurants but they really made an effort to provide good customer service. People at our table seemed to enjoy their alcoholic drinks as well, so that is a plus. I might come back again to try their other menu items and give an update in the future.

Used to be 10 stars but prices went up and service went down. I am a regular I always get extra lettuce and cheese with my fajitas and it's never been an issue. Tonight they added .99 for "sourcream" bc there wasn't a button for extra lettuce and 2.50 for a side of cheese... an entire head of lettuce is .99 and could buy an entire bag of cheese for 2.50 at wegmans... sad part is I was a regular here *was* . Bring a group of 20 for my bday yearly and come here once or twice a week. I guess I'll stick to Gran Rodeo in North Wales where they actually appreciate regulars. I'm a business owner myself so I get it, but nickle and diming is just poor business. If it was like .50 sure but come on. Pic is for size reference of the cheese I was charged 2.50 for and the lettuce that I was charged .99 for. Food is delicious otherwise I'd leave 1 star. *this previously was a 5 star that I had to edit to reflect current service standards here *

Was very busy went with a group of 5 . Margaritas were good ;) and I think everthing else would have got a higher score if it was not so besy . My table food ended up cooming out at different times and a bit wrong , but was still tasty .

Service was excellent! Chips and salsa very good. House classic margarita was below average and had no flavor. My shrimp special salad was ok. We did not expect anything above a chain level american-mexican restaurant. Will not be returning but suitable for average Mexican cuisine.

We got seated at a table quickly. We would have prefered a booth but not the end of the world. Our server, Pat brought us chips and salsa. The chips were really good. Light and airy with a nice touch of salt. The salsa was good. I took notice the margarita of the month, winter berry, was $12 while any other flavor was less. I did not understand that but whatever. I ordered it. I was a little taken back when it arrived in a pint glass but again not the end of the world. I took a sip. El yucko. I stirred it and took another sip. El yucko. I told my husband to try it. He said, " send that back. That is horrible" Pat was understanding and brought me a soda. My husband had a traditional margarita ( also in a pint glass) his was good. I had the chicken chimichanga, and he had the burrito supreme with chicken. It came quickly and was nice and hot. The flavor didn't blow us away. It was alright. The portion was good and the prices was fair. We probably wont go back. Its 40 minutes from our home. We feel it was too far for our mediocre experience. But I think it's worth trying. There were positives.

Margaritas continues to disappoint, yet somehow I keep going back. I’ve tried a variety of items on the menu over time, and the food is consistently just… average. This time I ordered one of the specials — the lobster taco — which was $12 for a single taco and barely had any meat in it. The regular menu items are typically so-so, though the margaritas themselves are decent. Overall, it’s an average, consistent local spot that gets the job done when you want something quick, but don’t expect to be wowed.

My husband and I were in a few weeks ago. Our server seemed great in the beginning and then was MIA. My drink from the bar was awful. The queso is incredible, love the chips and salsa, and my food was good. My husband got steak tacos that were really overcooked - he didn’t eat them and he’s a pretty easy to please guy. Love the decor and patio when the temps are good but I’ve been disappointed the last few times we’ve come in.

⭐️⭐️ (2/5) I really enjoyed my meal here — the food was great and I had a good time with my friends. Unfortunately, the end of our visit completely ruined the experience. When we went to pay, I accidentally entered the wrong amount for the tip (a $0.15 tip on a full bill, which was clearly a mistake). Instead of asking if we meant to do that, our waitress Melissa N. immediately caught an attitude and even made a snide comment about whether we left something on the table. It was embarrassing, unnecessary, and left such a sour taste after what had been a good evening. Mistakes happen, and a simple, respectful question could’ve cleared it up. Customer service is just as important as the food, and in this case, it fell flat.

I’ve been there before, and this time my experience was disappointing. The margarita was bland, the chicken tacos were dry, and the salsa and guacamole were just okay and nothing special. On a positive note, the service was excellent.

The staff and the drinks are the only great thing about this place. The food is mediocre at best. The owner is completely rude, even one time screaming at his staff in earshot of guests. One employee even falsely accused us of having fake IDS, we are all pushing 30 years old. My friend told them it was real and to scan them, they said they don’t have scanners but they have a pamphlet to compare it to? Lol I thought it was a joke. A scanner is $300, just buy one to save yourself the embarrassment. They ended up making it right thanks to my friends and I having second forms of IDS but my god. The owner literally has no idea how to run a business. Plenty of better places to spend your money at.

So my girlfriend wanted to go here . I told her that We stopped going years ago because the service is terrible and the food stinks . She witnessed it for herself. I ordered a fajita and she ordered a enchilada. It took them 40 min to bring the food at lunchtime. It was off the lunch menu. The waitress came by and asked us how the food was and I laughed while we told her we didn’t get it yet. Nothing ever changes. It’s too bad. At least my gf now won’t drive by and ask why don’t we go there. The portions are small and the service stinks. 1 Star ⭐️ for being close to home.

I can not lie...I consider myself a fajitas expert. It's my #1 choice at any Mexican restaurant I dine at. These fajitas were literally tasteless. I have never had fajitas that had no flavor. Very disappointed..

I am from Arizona. The food was terrible compared to true Mexican food. I understand that most people from this area have not experienced great Mexican food like we have in Arizona. The food here is like going to a Subway and saying that's the best cheese steak or hoagie I have ever had.

this place had the worst service i’ve ever experienced. me and my friends went for snacks and drinks and for some reason the server was very uneducated on IDs from other states and got the manager to check my sisters again. the manager was very rude and refused to serve her because his fake phone scanner couldn’t read my sisters real ID, i don’t even think he had a scanner on his phone, i think he took a picture because any real scanner would have read her ID as authentic. he was very disrespectful and rude and honestly profiling us. i have never met such an uneducated manager before and was very disappointed. don’t go here if you have an ID from any other state besides PA. i felt very profiled here as he had no reason to refuse us service.

Waste of money and time. Do not come here looking to find authentic Mexican food. It seems like the people who come here had never ate some real authentic Mexican food. The Food had no taste, beans were not refried and were salty (its a Mexican staple to have refried beans!!) rice tasted like some box rice from a supermarket, chicken had no seasoning, Mexican street corn had absolutely no taste and was burnt. Horrible, sucks this is the closest thing to Mexican that city has. Management please review your foods compare taste with other places. No bueno, taco bell si bueno.
