This is the best Italian Restaurant we’ve found in Las Vegas. I recommend making reservations in advance but could certainly get lucky and not have to wait long, if walking in without. Even the calamari was the best we’ve had in Vegas. Definitely worth a try!

One of my favorite Italian restaurants. I miss the OC location but was so happy this location is still open. Their Casonzei which is pear and cheese ravioli is out of this world good. They also have the best tiramisu in Las Vegas.

Raffael & Megan were extremely pleasant. Raffael was knowledgeable & gave wonderful suggestions that were delicious & had us trying many new dishes we have never had before! I would highly recommend this Gem in the middle of so many places to choose from!! We will return again when we return to Vegas! MAHALO to a wonderful staff for a beautiful dining experience & compliments to your wonderful chefs!!🤍

The best spot to people watch. I highly recommend making a resy if you’re having dinner as it can get pretty crowded. We were there for lunch and they were just getting a wave of a crowd in, the early risers. We scoped out the premises as soon as we checked in so we knew exactly where all the spots were where we would be dining. This place was recommended by a friend who frequently eats here when she’s staying at the resort with her husband. In hindsight, we should’ve been here for dinner, but we had an early(ish) lunch the night after we saw BSB rock the house at the Sphere. We were tired and dehydrated. And I had jetlag. It was certainly a time. We shared a margherita pizza and the seafood mix along with the pear salad. The salad got there first. It was the perfect starrer, refreshing and cold. It was the perfect palate opener. Our food looked so good, the couple sitting next to us ended up getting the same dishes. The seafood mix was perfection as it had everything. I saved a little bit of the salmon for later, but sure did eat everything else. That broccolini was cooked to perfection. Those potatoes were something else. We once again ate so much that we had no room for dessert. We ended up using the two hours we had before we had to head to the airport by losing monies at the slots. The service was great. The staff were attentive and friendly. A time was had

What a great place to sit and have a delicious Italian dinner! With the magic of Las Vegas you will be transported to Venice Italy with the amazing decor that really makes you feel you’re outside in a plaza in Venice. And then comes the food. So good and so much of it! Great for couples or big groups. Enjoy!

The food was really good, and it’s very pretty in the terrace with the Venetian’s ceiling. A little bit pricey, but great service.

Coming from NJ I was hesitant to get Italian food but this place was awesome. We had a great charcuterie board and amazing drinks, had the pear salad and the mortadella pizza and everything was just really good. We went here before the sphere show which worked out great since it’s like a 10 min walk to the venue! I’d definitely come back to this place!!

My partner and I along with our son are from Sydney visiting Las Vegas. I searched where we could have lunch and found Canaletto Ristorante. Oh my god, what a place to eat with fantastic dishes, great and friendly customer service and not just that, it is in an amazing atmosphere at St Marks square at The Venetian. We had 3 dishes for lunch, 2 desserts and they’ll were WOW WOW WOW. Thank you guys for your outstanding hospitality, 24 hours later we’re still talking about how much of a great food and a place is restaurant is! Thank you again guys.

I had my wedding reception dinner at the Canaletto in the Il Moro room. Canaletto was so easy to communicate with, they answered all of my questions and were so incredibly accommodating. As a vegetarian I’m always nervous seeing a preset menu but from the beginning they were happy to change the menus to fit our party better. The Il Moro room was perfectly set up, the cake table was gorgeous and the service was just as amazing as the food! The portions were massive and my guests RAVED about the food for weeks. The dinner was truly the cherry on top to a perfect day. I cannot wait to visit the Canaletto for many anniversaries to come.

We walked in without a reservation and were seated right away. Some of the best service we’ve had in the Las Vegas area! The food was amazing—especially the pistachio gnocchi. Highly recommend, and it’s a perfect spot to enjoy before or after a gondola ride right next door.

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Server was wonderful very attentive. The food was wonderful high quality. The drink was perfect for after dinner. Started with appetizer, then shared the chicken pasta dinner, and had the espresso martini for dessert. Best meal we had so far this trip in Vegas and will definately be back on our next visit

Incredible dinner experience in Vegas. Ideal spot for a dinner before a show at the Sphere. Patio seating is ideal. Service was top notch and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely dinner at Canaletto yesterday and it was delicious. The service was great, the cocktail awesome and the service prompt and very friendly. I’ve been here before and this time tried a different pasta and it was outstanding. Love the piazza theme set, and the vibrant atmosphere.

First off let me applaud Canaletto’s for Ernesto our waiter assistant and Saddi our patient and humble waiter. He did an excellent job with all our requests and made all perfect except we should have stayed longer. Thanks to Massimo the Chef & the Sous chef Willie for serving wonderful food and new tastes in cheeses for my palate. The atmosphere inside St Marks square at the Venetian was wonderful like being in Venice. Was good to get out. The Italian food was done very well. Loved the Ravioli’s and wife her Salmon dish and Bruschetta on toast. Thank you Canaletto’s and podium greeter ladies. We loved you all. Be blessed.

Where should I start… let’s start with the ambiance and the venue itself. Out of the world! The feel of Venice! The weather… the aura… 10/10. The restaurant does a perfect job keeping up with the expectations. The food is outstanding and tasty. The servers were amiable and accommodating. I 100% recommend this place. I suggest starting at 530Pm and enjoying till late evening. Enjoy wine, food and the change in atmosphere.

Beautiful Italian restaurant in Shops on Canal inside Venetian Hotel. It is located in on of the promenade along the Canal in Venetian. Very beautiful location and great food choices. Many Vegetarian options too. Staff is courteous and friendly. They do have happy hour every evening where they have half price cocktails and appetizers.

A must try ! The legitimacy of pizza & spaghetti is beyond and indescribable in words . The ambience is cozy and feels like you are in Venice . We ordered a margherita pizza along with spaghetti pizza , all veg . I must say this is the best pizza you can have in vegas . Awesome food .

Great meal a little on the pricy side. We would go back. Started with a tuna and swordfish appetizer. Very flavorful not fish at all. My wife had the beef carppico. Very good as well. I had the lobster spaghetti special. The whole lobster split in half with the claws kind of messy to eat. But very good flavor. Wife had the beef and mushroom risotto. Outstanding flavor I would order it again. We had some friends along also he had the 22oz ribeye. He said it was perfectly cooked and Great flavor.

This restaurant is all by the same people running Il Fornaio. So it has pretty much the same type of menu. Il Fornaio owners have the restaurant business down to a pat. Most of the waiters were Italians too and they did such a good job recommending entrees and serving us. And the food is always awesome.

Delicious food in the center of the Venetian. Seating is very cute, it’s as though you’re in an Italian courtyard cafe. Food was delicious, cocktails were great. Highly recommend the burrato plate, it was delicious! The customer service was excellent- so attentive. My wife and I were very impressed. Worth every cent!

The risotto is the best. You definitely need to make a reservation before you go. It’s very busy and it’s a super tourist area. It’s good for human watching. Food: risotto is very good. We came for risotto. Also the bread comes with great sauce and olives. Beverage: great quality.

We happened upon this restaurant by chance, and we were extremely happy with the results. We were there for lunch on 3/29/21. They were CLEARLY short-staffed, but working as quickly as possible to provide the best service. The menu I see online is not what my family saw, but all of the items we ordered are listed. They were all delicious. I had the Norwegian salmon. It was perfect. My daughter loved her Margherita pizza (easily shareable). My husband and youngest both enjoyed the Pennoni and Vermicelli features on the pasta menu. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is amazing. They have a great happy hour menu. We sat at the bar for our meals. The Calamari was delicious. We enjoyed the clam pasta and the pizza. Big portions. Last we topped off our meal with a cappuccino , that was made perfect. The bartenders all worked together. Two thumbs up for the great meal and service.

First, our server James, was spectacular. Waiting on us with bells on. The antiopasto, charcuterie board was fantastic. I had the special (ravioli) was absolutely to die for. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

We went for lunch and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Chef Massimo truly elevates Italian cuisine. The ravioli was exceptional something I have never tasted anywhere else, truly unique. The calamari was perfectly cooked, light and flavorful, and the fish was simply outstanding. Every dish reflected great care, balance, and passion. A perfect place for a refined and memorable lunch. Highly recommended

Truly authentic Italian food — you can taste the quality in every bite. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but it’s absolutely worth it for the experience and the quality. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made the night even better. One of the best Italian meals I’ve had in Vegas. Would definitely come back

Our visit to Canaletto was pleasant overall. The service was fast and the staff offered very good attention from the moment we arrived, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The food was decent; however, the grilled octopus was a little hard and not as tender as expected. Other dishes were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. What truly stands out at Canaletto is its location. Situated inside The Venetian, the atmosphere is beautiful and unique, with the canals and the energy of the plaza creating a charming setting. It’s an ideal spot for people-watching, taking photos, and enjoying the Venetian ambiance. Overall, it’s a good place to stop for a meal with excellent service and an amazing location, even if the food quality can be a bit inconsistent.

My husband and I stopped in here last weekend for dinner before seeing the Wizard of Oz at The Sphere. We had reservations, but we arrived early to enjoy the happy hour at the bar. They do post their happy hour menu and prices on their website. It’s very reasonably priced and a good selection of appetizers. For dinner I ordered the tagliatelle. There was way more bacon than chicken. I wished it was the opposite. My husband ordered the salmon which was cooked well along with the potatoes. The carrots were raw and the broccolini was not very tasty. Service and the atmosphere was great.

Our family of four (two kids) really enjoyed this restaurant. The setting in the Venetian mall really creates a European cafe feeling with the surrounding façades and the dim lights. I enjoyed the “frutti di mare” appetizer which was OK for $28. The higher the price, the more my expectations go up as your may also. The Spaghetti bolognese has a great ragu sauce and our boys split it. My wife had the pear salad which was actually pretty huge. A great choice place to enjoy a nice dinner.

T
Tiffany Chang

The food here was yummy! The vibes were immaculate. We sat “outside” in St Marks Square and could see the “sky” changing colors. What a pleasant meal! We ordered the calamari and octopus as appetizers. Both were yummy!! I got the frutti di mare as my main and shared some butterfly sea bream and pistachio gnocchi. I loved the frutti di mare! The other 2 were just ok in my opinion. Overall I really enjoyed my meal here!

Given it’s location in the courtyard I was expecting this restaurant to be a bit of an overpriced tourist trap, but fortunately left happy and satisfied. The service throughout the stay was top notch and the member of staff was knowledgeable with the menu and happy to make recommendations. There’s a good range of items available without it being overbearing and there is a huge selection of wine too. Service time with the food was quick and the portion size just right. The atmosphere was lovely given the setting and while far from a cheap meal, it didn’t feel outrageous for the level of service. If you’re wanting a proper meal in the area then it’s worth considering.

Went for lunch with a work collogue. I had reservations and was immediately sat. I waited and waited and waited for at least acknowledgment and and offer of water, but nothing. It had to be over 5 minutes so I stood up and walked over to a line of waiters standing around and asked if I could have some water please. From there service got better, but this is why they get 3 stars for service. We both ordered the prawns with pasta, it was delicious. The caper sauce made me eat it all. LOL The atmosphere, well, speaks for itself with the knock-off of the famous plaza in Venice, Italy, I've been there several times and this is pretty authentic. Its the whole reason I picked this restaurant was to "sit outside over looking the plaza." Would I come here again, I go every year, something about it.

Canaletto Ristorante serves up tasty Italian dishes in the courtyard area of the Venetian hotel. A solid option if you are heading to a show at the nearby Sphere - would highly recommend the pistachio gnocchi!

Price is good. Worth it. Service was okay and food was 4.5/ only thing is seafood quality not that fresh. Spaghetti tastes good too. Overall I would say for this price it is definitely worth it. Hope they could do better for the services.

Italian restaurant in the grand canals in the Venetian Resort. It’s right in the middle of all the hubbub with outdoor style seating (also has inside options), lights, and beautiful views. However it can be a bit loud because of where it’s located. Food was good, the Calamari was a little on the thinner side and slightly under seasoned but yummy and crispy nonetheless. Seafood pasta was excellent! Seafood tasted fresh, sauce was seasoned well, I’d very much recommend this dish! Gnocchi bolognese was good, gnocchi was homemade with perfect texture, sauce tasted very common, but still good. And the cheesecake was delicious and smooth! Service was okay, felt a little rushed, got a little thirsty, but kept up with bussing as we ate. The menu leans more towards the traditional Italian style ((no Alfredo, no chicken parm, etc)) which I personally like. While price point was high, it was on the cheaper side compared to other similar restaurants. I’d go again!

Of course, a restaurant named Canaletto has to be on the Grand Canal (corner St. Mark’s Square) at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. Depending on the event, you can choose fine Italian dining on the patio, inside downstairs, or the upstairs lounge with its own bar. The restrooms are a bit out of the way upstairs way back.

Our second meal here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. They tailored them for us too and we didn’t have to wait for a table but reservations are recommended. Indoor seating and outdoor near the piazza.

Real authentic Italian restaurant in every way. Service was excellent, food was great no fault at all, loved the atmosphere. Its a Don&ShonaEats recommended place to try, we are giving this a 9 out of 10. And if you heading down under to Australia check out our YouTube Channel Don&ShonaEats for places to eat on the Gold Coast Queensland. Like and subscribe if it helps. Happy Eating from Don&ShonaEats

This restaurant is definitely on the touristy side, located right inside the Venetian among all the shops. You can choose to sit indoors or outside, where the setting makes you feel like you’re dining at a charming café somewhere in Italy. The food was just okay, but the service was excellent. Our server was super friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

T

Food 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 Service 2/5 The seating was tight, but it was a beautiful setting, reminiscent of an outdoor patio despite being in the middle of a mall. The calamari was cooked perfectly. The Ossobuco was decent. My wife's salmon was good with a delightful sauce. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. To be clear, it wasn't all of the servers, just ours. I saw servers at other tables interacting with their tables and checking on them constantly. Meanwhile, our server seemed like he would rather be anywhere else, but there. By the time the meal was over, we were interested in looking at a dessert menu, but after sitting there with empty plates in front of us for 15 minutes, we decided to get the check and leave. It's funny how sometimes all it takes is one person to leave a stain on an establishment.

Great location next to the indoor gondola ride start point and with good patio seatings. Unfortunately we got seated inside next to the kitchen door inspite of plenty available patio seating and requesting host for a better seat. Server was abrupt and had no recommendations for vegetarian guests. Requested pizza in white sauce was not available. Angel pasta not on recipe and server could not suggest a suitable alternative. In the end ordered pasta tossed in plain oil.. we were offered complimentary bread with butter. No oil or balsamic. We ordered the Minestrone soup, old fashioned cocktail. Both good.. the margarita pizza, pasta was passable. The steak was one of the best I have had. Medium and Juicy with wonderful sauce. If it were not for that steak the place with be a 2 star . A training in hospitality 101 would be useful for the host and front team.

I was told this is the best Italian restaurant inside the shops at the Venetian. THANK GOD I only ordered their over priced cheap nasty calamari and house wine. I jetted out of there so fast, no one even offered a replacement appetizer or anything, when I asked for bread and butter they wanted to charge me I was just to shy to let the staff know their food and service sucked. Anyways I finished the wine I still tipped and took my business somewhere else.

M
Matthew Ray

If you like The Olive Garden you’re going to love this place. They don’t work hard because they don’t have to - Captive audience in the Venetian. 3 couples sat in a manor and divided the bar so there were only 8 singles left and the bar tenders where completely oblivious. Mario was the only staff member that seems to care. He was nice and tried to make people happy. Everyone else we encountered was rude and unengaged. The food was fast as everything is premade and in bins. Presentation was good but So so at best. Tourist trap as is most in the resort.

E
Edi Lee

I ordered a spaghetti with 5 pcs small shrimp. It wasn’t on the menu. They charge me $45. Do not enter to this restaurant the food is too oily and they will charge you for the bread. Also, $10.

v
vivek cherian

The service and servers at this restaurant are awful. Nobody seemed to care about you. We sat down and the first time we saw a server was probably 15 minutes in. We asked for water without ice 10 minutes later we got served water with ice. When we asked the waiter if he could get us water without ice, he apologized and then disappeared for another 15 minutes it took him another 10 minutes or so to come by to take an order at which point there seemed to be confusion on who was supposed to take our order all in all 30 minutes and we haven’t even placed an order yet the food was just average.
